I really had to calm myself down to write this review. Like the previous reviews, if I could have rated this location a 0, I absolutely would. I normally love Enterprise. This is really the only company that I go to. I called prior to my pick up date and spoke with Megan. I asked about the insurance and was advised that they have to offer it but it's not required to rent the car. I came and picked up my car. Before I knew this was Megan herself, she was asking for proof of employment. I've rented in several occasions and have never been asked even if it's to verify the company code. I wasn't advised prior to coming in that I needed proof of employment. Luckily, I had an email from work. I declined insurance and gave her my card, we walked out so I'm thinking everything is fine. Once we are about to finalize she brings up the insurance again, since I declined and didn't put my insurance down, the rental was no longer possible for me. I told her that we spoke with Megan and she said "We have a Morgan" and continued to say she was the employee we must have spoken to that advised us the day before. She didn't apologize nor did she try to investigate about the miscommunication. I'm trying to talk to her to let her know this isn't ok, my rooms are paid for, all my expenses are paid for and now you're just going to disregard me like I don't matter. When I told her that I've made several reservations before and this has never been an issue including my employment verification she said that she's never seen any history of my rentals. She walks away without saying a word or offering any type of solution. That didn't sit well with me, go back and ask for her name and she says Megan. The same Megan that you failed to mention and instead continously blamed the new hire Morgan. She kept saying she never spoke with us it was Morgan. I offered to pull up her voicemail and the time stamp of when I called her right back. Her response was that it's the office branch line and it was Morgan who spoke with us right after we spoke on the phone. I'm not the type to play the race card but I wholeheartedly feel like this was pure discrimination. I felt judged from the moment I walked in. I've never had this type of issue with any other branch. It's really a shame that she's the representation for Enterprise. It's even worse that she stated she was the branch manager and was able to be that unprofessional and prejudice. I'm sure nothing will be done because in the real world it never does but I at least wanted to be heard by other customers since I was not heard at the branch. Megan, you cost me several additional expenses along with a cancelation fee. I hope that sits well with you.

I reserved the vehicle days before my trip. When I had arrived at the time of pick up which was 1:30 pm. Numerous occasions the representatives had told me the vehicle will be ready shortly. Then finally 10-15 minutes later a gentlemen tells me ma’am your vehicle is almost ready they are filling the tank. They never told me which vehicle I was getting at this point. At this point it’s 2:00 PM they FINALLY say it’s ready, The rep John helps me out. I had advise him that I’ve been waiting 30 minutes and white Altima they took me I noticed the whole time I waited it was parked the WHOLE time. They didn’t move it for gas or a car wash or anything. When I had got into the vehicle there was barely a quarter of a tank, they had said they were filling the tank? So what’s the excuse? Not a damn thing, I wasted my time reserving with them because I still ended up waiting forever. When i returned the vehicle, the lady rep that assisted me to returning the car. She had asked me, how was our customer service? I said it was OKAY. She said just okay, and I said yes. I’ve already waited enough time here, I need to leave. The manager Edward stepped in, I had advised him I didn’t have time because my ride is waiting. So he stated I apologize for the inconvenience how about I wave the first day charges for you, I told him I would definitely appreciate that. He advised me he would waive the charges and give me a call to confirm he took action. I never heard a call back like he stated, finally I called two days later. Edward answered put me on hold for 20 minutes and completely forgot about me, I was at work so I didn’t have time to call back. He told me he was going to follow back up with me, so I expected him to do so. It’s not my job to do so. Especially as management you expect so much more. I checked my bank statement, all they did was refund me the $100 deposit, he didn’t take action nor bother to call me back. I came to this enterprise because the other location I went to had bad customer service. Now I see it’s a trend within all of them, not only bad service but they are liars. I will never give them my time or service again. If I could give this company zero stars I would, they are joke. Until THIS day he never called me back.

Enterprise boldly and uselessly went where no man or woman has gone before to get my car! I called this location to reserve a vehicle and was told there would be one waiting for me. Instead, I received a call back stating that this outlet was completely out of vehicles. No problem. I understand things like this happen. What I don’t understand is why I was told by the representative on the phone to call a number she was going to provide, so I could reserve another car. Enterprise is the one providing the rental car service, not me. They messed up by telling me I had a car ready and waiting for me. Why am I being asked to waste my time to do the legwork to get another vehicle for their error? Once again, they are providing the service, not me. I was told by the representative that she would take care of it and that I would get a call back. Neither happened. I instead caught an Uber to the Enterprise on 49th St and McDowell where they actually provided me a nice car and great service. Stay away from this location! Otherwise, you might get boldly bent over by Enterprise who will clearly go where you want no man to ever go again!!

I'm going with 5 stars for the stellar staff here, but the company as a whole needs to do better. Shortly after I got my rental the change oil light came on. I called 5 times over the next few days, and waited on hold 30 minutes each time only for the call to hang up automatically. I never did get to speak to anyone about the oil because when I went to return the vehicle there were only 2 employees, and both were completely swamped. One was washing two cars at the same time (bless her), trying to get them ready for the groups waiting on vehicles. (There were 4 cars, including mine, dropped off in the meantime, all waiting on washes). The other was working with two families at the same time (bless him!) trying to get them on their way as quickly and painlessly as possible. I only got to speak with him for a brief moment to hand over the keys. I know this is not his fault, so I don't blame him for not having the time to actually review my trip and rental experience with them. I would have very much liked to have that discussion with an employee though. I recommend better staffing at these high-traffic locations.

I will never rent a car from enterprise again. As a college student I needed to rent a car to drive home because my license and bank cards were outdated. I called enterprise customer service to make sure I was ok with my paper temporary license to rent a car and they gave me the green light. So I paid for an Uber and went down there to pick up a car. Off the bay they were trying to give me the smallest car on the lot, and had to ask for a car more suitable for driving a road trip. As I’m going to pay i forgot my card I was using was expired (hence is why I was trying to get home) but I had another debit card I could have used. As I’m on my banking apps transferring my money over to my other account with an up to date debit card, they give the car I requested to someone else without notifying me or telling me. I also don’t appreciate how you guys have 1 demographic working outside and a certain demographic working inside. My family has been renting from enterprise my whole life but now I will make sure as a collective they get a car from somewhere else.

The location of this Enterprise was convenient, very close to downtown Phoenix. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I scheduled a 9 am pickup for a sedan-sized car. Delaney informed me they needed the car size I had reserved. She offered me a mini SUV so that I didn't have to wait at no additional cost. She was friendly and had me in and out in under 30mins. I drove around in a Chevy Blazer; fun to drive, but the previous person was a smoker, and the smell was released when it was parked in the hot sun triggering my allergies. When I returned the vehicle, Angela helped me; she was friendly and asked how my trip had gone. I told her I enjoyed driving the Blazer but let her know about the cigarette smell. When she went to check the gas and mileage, she was able to confirm the cigarette smell and offered to discount a day off of my rental. I also got a ride back to my hotel (within 3 miles) within 10 mins of completing my rental. I would return to this Enterprise for its fast, friendly service and willingness to help me.

I had a reservation for a car at this location today. Twice I called two days prior to arrange for a pickup at my hotel. Both times I was left on hold for 15 minutes and the second time they finally took my phone number and promised to call back to finish arranging pickup. They never did. This forced me to take an Uber to their location. Once there they checked me in and said it would be just a few minute wait. An hour later it finally became clear that not only did they not have my car but they wouldn’t be getting one for me anytime soon. I had to get my sons’ soccer tournament so we had to scramble to come up with an alternate plan and cancel our car rental. This was not only a huge headache but I was out money for the original Uber ride. I will never do business with this company again. There were several other customers in the same boat as I was who also had to cancel their reservation and scramble for other plans. Extremely unprofessional business.

I rented a vehicle from them on April 9th 2021. This isn’t the first time I rented from them however this is the first time my experience wasn’t great. I felt they knew it wasn’t good too because they usually call and see how your rental experience is going but they didn’t do that this time. Checking in was fine. The car however wasn’t very clean. The car has a smell so bad that I really don’t know how they could not do a better job cleaning it. I don’t know where it came from but when you used the ac it got worse. It smelled like wet dog, feet, and you whatever else you could think of. I went with my son and bought lysol and antibacterial wipes to wipe it completely down and the smell was still there. I would have returned it but there was no other vehicle’s available and since I was in town for my 97 year old grandma’s birthday I didn’t want to let them spoil that. Checking out wasn’t that great either but I won’t get in to that.

If you think that Enterprise is looking out for you during the COVID-19 pandemic you're wrong. This is what went wrong with them, again. 1. The car we rented for a family trip was extremely dirty and it had what appear to be body fluids inside the car. We actually used a black light to see what was inside the car. 2. There was a used face mask by the seats. 3. We had to ask the attendant to at least clean the windows when we picked up the car. 4. They provided the wrong pick up location and we were behind on our schedule because of them. Next time you rent from this company, be aware that its not you who they protect, its their bottom line. More importantly, safety is only a marketing tool for them. Whatever measures they have in place now is only to protect their employees. If you must rent from this company, bring a bottle of alcohol and spray the interior of car for your own safety.

I made a reservation here a week and a half before my trip to Phoenix from St. Louis. I had JUST landed in Phoenix and had not even gotten my baggage and they called me telling me they overbooked and that they had been trying to call me for a week and I never answered. I looked back through my call history and had nothing from them or even any number in Arizona. I never got a voicemail and I got a confirmation email for my reservation but they couldn’t send me an email saying they had overbooked? I think they messed up and tried to blame it on me. They were no help and had no resolution for me, they were just out of cars. All they could say was “sorry”. If I didn’t have a friend in Phoenix with a car I would’ve been stranded. They did not care. Will never use enterprise again. They have no care for their customers.

Had a great experience at this enterprise location. They were very busy so we had to wait a few minutes which was no big deal. We arrived a few hours earlier than we had anticipated and they didn't have any issue with getting us a car. I originally was given a Kia Forte and I drove it from the rental location to our resort and it seemed to be handling funny. It was like the back end was jumping off the road when I hit any small bump. I had to come back to Phoenix to pick a friend up at the airport two days later so I went back and told them and they replaced the car with a different car very quickly. The new vehicle was not clean inside but it was not a big deal and I was happy to have a vehicle I felt safer in. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely rent from this location again.

I have never been "loyal" to any particular car rental before, but after the excellent service I received here I now consider myself an Enterprise customer. But I know it's not _just_ Enterprise -- it's the people who work here that make this location the best I've ever been to. During a busy time, I had to walk out on a different reservation I was having problems with, and found this Enterprise at the last minute and I'm really glad I did. Had I found them earlier, I could have saved a few hours of my time -- and I ended up driving a much better car for less money than what I had booked with the other place. If you're traveling to Phoenix, working with these guys can get your trip off to a nice start. Their inventory, service, and prices are all amazing.

The branch manager this location is a racist, she stereotyped us. She made up her own rules on site, I called in the day before and asked if we had to take their insurance, she said no we just have to offer it. I asked do we need to use our own insurance, she said no. I also asked were we able to rent without providing any insurance she said that was fine. I have been renting cars from Enterprise for work and leisure for years, not once have I had this issue or felt thos type of way. We were talking to her to try and come up with a solution and she just walked off and canceled out reservation. She is very rude, and treated us very unprofessional. I will also be calling corporate on her because she needs to be retrained on customer service.

I rented a Full Size SUV 30 in advance and three days prior to my pickup date, they called me and asked me to confirm, stating they anticipated a very busy weekend. I re-confirmed and even had to cancel and re-reserve in order to have it billed to my corporate account. Upon arrival at 5:00pm, they stated they didn’t have a car for us and we had to wait an hour until someone returned one. Then they gave us a mini-suv crossover instead of The car guaranteed!!! As far as I know, we are being charged the same for 1/2 the car. This is 100% unacceptable and inexcusable. I do not recommend using this rental company if you’re relying on a specific car type. Hertz is better.

I highly recommend renting from this location specifically because of Alayna. We arrived to pick up our car well before the reservation but Alayna didn't let that stop her from getting us situated in a different vehicle (same size and everything) so we didn't have to wait. It was a quick and seamless experience. I think we were in and out in 20-30 minutes. We ended up having to return the vehicle to the airport after a change in our flight that affected our ability to return the vehicle to this store, but everything worked out. I know I'll be renting from Enterprise again, and I'm confident I will be back to this specific location the next time I'm in Phoenix.

This experience was not as pleasurable as previous experiences. I feel that I was not valued and was told anything just to leave the office. I asked the representative that checked me out if I could speak to a manager about my rate. He informed me that there was 6 clients ahead of me and that he would not charge my card until I spoke to a manager. I have no problem paying but I did want some clarification on the difference between my last rental when y’all this time the car was a size smaller, but 10 dollars more daily. I will not be using the Enterprise on 7th because they didn’t value me enough to just to complete a follow up when requested.

The KIA sedan was in great shape and ran well. Check-out was a bit slow on the Saturday due to heavy customer traffic, but the agent was thorough and fast when my turn came around. Check-in was quick and efficient. The only negative was that this car did not have a spare tire nor a jack, just an inflation pump which would do no good if a tire was punctured. The agent did offer me another car that had a spare tire at check-out, but it was close to their 1:00 PM closing time, and I was in a hurry to start my 2 week vacation. Overall, a great rental price, great car, and efficient service.

This is the best rental car company that I have ever used, third time we used Enterprise at the same location in phoenix. Never had an issue!! The return process was even faster than the check in and we were very satisfied. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to upsell and I was charged exactly as quoted. Everyone at the office was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this company. Awesome customer service. Me and my husband will continue to rent at this location and recommend it to anyone wanting to avoid the airport hassle.

If I could give to is location a 0 I would. They forced me into a large SUV to maximize my insurance rate; then refused to help me when I had issues with the car. I returned at a different location and asked to speak with a manager prior to my rental being closed out, I saw the employee note my request. However this rental branch closed my contract the following day without speaking to me. If you can, avoid renting from this location as they do not follow Enterprise’s core customer values. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had renting from Enterprise.

I felt compelled to give a shout to two women at this Enterprise location. Delaney and Alayna are complete superstars! They have provided me with amazing customer service throughout my rental (two months, due to a hit and run). Have been at the Enterprise location on numerous occasions and watched them go above and beyond for other customers too. Not only is their work top-notch but they are excellent communicators n the phone and in person. Really impressive. Keep up the great service— you both definitely have bright futures ahead! If you are considering booking this enterprise through your insurance, don't do it! I had a reservation that ended on a sunday (the day I was flying out). They told me the gate would be open but when I came to drop off the gate was locked so I had to leave the rental at the gas station across the street which made me almost miss my flight. Then they charged me an extra day for literally no reason. I've had to call them 5 times to get clarity on the situation. The people are nice but they dont follow up on anything and my situation is still not resolved.

Last weekend my husband and I rented a car from the 7th street & Buckeye location. I used my plus points and was interested in upgrades. Celia was professional and patient as she showed us multiple vehicles to choose from. Once we decided on a car, Celia expeditiously finished up the process so I could get back to work. Celia made the process much simpler at this location and she ensured we had the info we needed to ensure a lovely weekend roadtrip. Next time we need another rental, we are definitely heading back to the Buckeye and 7th street location.

Very quick and convenient drop off. We had no issue returning our car from the airport. However, their prices (for whatever reason) are strangely high compared to the ones given at the airport. It was cheaper to rent a car overnight and return it to a different location than it is to rent one for the day and return it to the same location. Weird. The man who checked our car in was very kind and friendly. We would have liked to take another car out later in the week, but at the costs they are asking—very unlikely! Where’s the consistency there?

Enterprise gave me a car that required an oil change. They then sent me on a wild goose chase to return the car for a new one midway through our road trip. After receiving another car, I realized it was not the car I paid for (all wheel drive). I called my local Enterprise and they said they would, “Make it right.” When we returned the car, the local enterprise said they would refund us the difference. We were told $100 by the representative, but only received $75 as a refund. Enterprise is a joke and I will never give them my business again.

Great customer service. We come to Phoenix every year and we rent from this location because the airport taxes are insane. We had a bit of a delay when picking up the car - it wasn't ready so we waited a bit. They ended up giving us a better class car so we could get on our way. On our return, the manager was very apologetic about the pickup and made things right. They also gave us a lift to our downtown hotel. Awesome customer service. I will continue to rent at this location and recommend it to anyone wanting to avoid the airport hassle.

I rented a vehicle in mid-Spring 2022 and it was a great experience. The staff were very helpful from the initial call all the way to when we dropped the car odd after renting. This was a professional experience and I highly recommend this branch. It was quite convenient to have a gas station adjacent to their location which is quite helpful when/if you need to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas that with which you started. Top notch customer service, great location and great vehicle availability.

This location is the BOMB!!!! They are always busy but never leave you hanging. The staff are trained to make eye contact and work quickly but efficiently to get you in and out. The cars are always clean and in the off chance you see something you don't like, they will fix it before you leave. The prices are very competitive and with the Plus program, it is easy to earn the points toward free rentals. We are loyal Enterprise customers for life! Thank you, Enterprise!!

Fantastic experience at this location. The staff were all super friendly, helpful, and flexible (letting me swap my SUV for a smaller one for comfort). I’ve been to some car rental locations that attempt to sell you on extras that you don’t need - not here! The team is focused on getting you on the road and ensuring you have a great time. My car was clean and ran well all week - no issues whatsoever. Would definitely recommend this location!

This is the second time we have used the Downtown Phoenix Enterprise Location instead of picking the car up at the Sky Harbor Rental location. It is cheaper and much more laid back compared to the Rental car building. The young lady (Unfortunately I do not recal her name) that helped us was very nice and was able to upgrade us from a Corolla to a Camry. Overall it was about as good of a car rental experieince as you could get.

I had a rental through this branch back in Sept. - Oct. for work. The manager, assistant managers, and other staff were all very helpful. I was able to get into a very nice car, and everyone was patient, professional, and courteous. Thank you. Once again, I had an excellent experience with this branch. Reserved a car in the economy class, then the Enterprise Loyalty Program gave me a free upgrade to the next class. That rental location was so nice and gave me a upgrade to a SUV for no extra charge. The staffs are very friendly, especially the lady named Julie, she was very professional and friendly answered all the questions that we have enquired. Next time in Phoenix again, I will certainly rent from them again.

Great rental experience. The car I reserved had not been returned yet when I had arrived so they immediately upgraded me (to a suped-up 2019 Ram Truck) and even gave me a discount on my reservation. They were extremely friendly as well and made sure I had a good experience. I don't think many other car rental places would have done that, most others would have just kept me waiting until the car I reserved arrived.

Trever was very helpful, got rear ended in a rental over the weekend and could not get Ins On the line Trevor got us a good rate to get us throw the weekend tell the next business day , Monday came and Trevor had fixed the reservation and reversed changes , once Ins was on board . he took frustrating situation and made it comfy Thank you and there was a lovely young lady that helped as well.

Try another location In response to corporate response below: No one from this location contacted me or acknowledged my concerns. Choose the airport location for pick up. If you have any scheduled plans for same day AVOID this rental location at all costs

John was great at the pick-up even though he was the only staff manning the desk, he was courteous, informative and friendly. When I dropped the vehicle off, staff (I don’t recall his name) were the same even though the customer behind me was was a jerk to him. The vehicle was great and had zero issues. Will continue to use Enterprise and this branch again.

Had mechanical problems with my rental vehicle,and this branch did absolutely nothing to help me find a replacement . I wouldn't take what they had because it smelled like an ash tray. I dont know how they could have a vehicle with an odor like that on rent. They just told me to call different locations to see if they had a replacement vehicle.

A great experience, & friendly agents. This location was busy both when we arrived to pick up our rental, and when we dropped it off, but we still received excellent customer service. We even received a free upgrade when the car I originally reserved was not available. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Phoenix!

DO NOT RENT! this business has zero care for customers time or money. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to come in. I was told multiple times I had a vehicle when I show up they make me wait 2 hours and there was no car. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I would recommend it to close down.

Outstanding customer service.. My truck is in the body shop.. and through insurance I got a rental.. They picked me up.. made sure I was as important as any customer renting. My truck was not available, so they hooked me up with a car until my truck was ready. Highly recommend to use this Enterprise Rent-A-Car.. Big Kudos!

This is a really great team at this Enterprise location. Everyone was very friendly and didn’t seem in a rush to push me out the door. They made time for my questions and answered my call when I had a question about the contract on the road and we’re able to properly handle my question. Go for the Wagoneer! It’s worth it!

It was a great and easy experience. I was checked-in by Edward in a speedy and courteous way. Then I did the car overview with John so documented and answered all of my questions. When I returned the car, the Assistant Manager, Jairo, was helpful in answering concerns that I had. Highly recommend this location.

Such an awesome experience for my short trip to Arizona. I got to the depot and picked up the car super easily and Alayna made the whole experience seamless and very helpful with any questions I had. They have multiple locations. I had a great experience at the one on 7 street and Buckeye. I had a bad experience with the one that is on 7 street and Camelback. I did rent a car from the location on Buckeye but I didn’t will never return to the location on Camelback due to the way I was as treated their.

I looked at rates of this enterprise vs the "on-site airport" enterprise and it wasn't even close. This place was far cheaper. For a short uber ride (and not much longer than the shuttle would have taken to the on-site location), I saved big. Staff here we're great and I was checked in and out quickly.

Everything about our experience with this Enterprise location was 5 stars. The staff were phenomenal to interact with. The car we got was a very smooth ride and fuel efficient. Very fast “checkin” and “check out” process. Would certainly recommend to a friend and use again next time I visit Arizona!

Rented a car a month in advance and had no idea they needed a credit card not a debit credit bank card....if that's the case Enterprise, show a wee bit of empathy for your customers and don't take reservations without one. Not fun to land from out of state and be stranded. Recommend Turo instead.

Enterprise made the process of renting a car so easy. I reserved online ahead of time and sent reminders of my pick up date. The transaction was less than 10 min. Returning was also quick and simple. The rental car could have been cleaned before I rented, other than that I have no complaints

I received a phone call early that morning from the particular to confirm my reservation. They informed me that the rental process could be about a 1/2 an hour to 2 hours. When I got there the process took about 15 minutes. Stall was polite and professional. Car was clean and ran great.

When you rent a car and get confirmation that you have a car, but 3 days before you arrive you may get an email which arrives the day you are traveling to tell you that you don't have a car, sucks. The only reason to reserve a car is so you have it when you arrive.
