This particular experience was excellent with both teams at two different locations (drop off and pick up). At the Riverdale location (5618 Broadway) Jermaine (I believe was his name) reviewed my information in a professional yet friendly manner. He apologized for not having my exact vehicle but was kind enough give me a suitable replacement vehicle. Also, he was the first person to accurately explain why I should consider purchasing your insurance (which I did). He clearly explained the value for purchasing fuel at a flat rate for future rentals. Lastly, he was kind enough to explain that in order to keep the vehicle for longer the would be a significant price increase since it was a holiday. When I returned the vehicle the next day at the New Rochelle location (90 Huguenot Ave), I was greeted by a friendly yet professional young man who inspected the vehicle and had a casual conversation. He answered my questions and was also able to give me a great realistic scenario in which the insurance you offer was worth it for someone like me (no personal auto insurance). I accidentally left some important documents in the vehicle and a wonderful young lady with the last name Pena called me to tell me before I left the facility. They were all wearing masks and social distancing which made me feel safe. Also, I really appreciated the hand sanitizer available on site. If this great service continues, I might become a loyal enterprise customer (instead of searching for other car providers through my company). Unfortunately, this has not always been my experience with Enterprise in the past or even previous rentals this year. I have had my company discount not applied to my rental (with a refusal to apply it on site), a call to cancel my online reservation 2 hours before almost all your locations closed on a Saturday, a reservation that was transferred to a different pick up location for the same time when I asked for the time to be changed twice making me late for the pick up time and left with no available vehicles for me. However, this experience was a 5 STAR rating. If your brand can provide this level of service consistently, I will become a loyal member (and not look for other providers through my corporate discount).

I thought this place was going to be great because of the reviews. I think I got the same guy as all the 1 star reviews referring to terrible customer service. He canceled both my reservations. Which they reached out to me to confirm the first one. Then i made a second one through the telephone with a rep, he told me the enterprise reps lied to me, even though I always ask them to personally contact the enterprise I am booking with for verification, and then said he was “glad” that I was not able to book and that no one will book me. Which was so freaking weird and incredibly agitating that I just left. It didn’t help the whole time he was calling me “bro” like I’m not a customer. I worked in customer service and I am super chill but “bro” was NOT the way to go. The situation technically cost me a whole days pay since I couldn’t get to the job site and A LOT of patience to the point I'm writing this 10 hours later….I’ve been using Enterprise for awhile and never had any issues like this. I reached out to Enterprise again over the phone and they had no idea as to what the guys problem with me was. The phone line was helpful because they immediately reached out to the Enterprise I normally book through and there was no issue except for them not having a car available for a last second booking which is understandable. (they offered to have a car meet me there but it would be about an hour and change but it would also take me an hour and a half to get there on the train and it’s already almost noon at this point with a another hour driving to the site so it didn’t work out :( but that aside the East 80th street location rocks! 231st was just disappointing and reminded me the beauty of just having your own car vs renting….) I want to go back just to get his name for this review.

I've rented from this location several times a year for five years. Never again. Issues I've had with this location include: waiting 3 hours for a car (with a reservation), being charged an extra day because they didn't log the car in as returned, being charged for a parking ticket that was received after I returned the car, being charged an extra day because the location was closed, even though my rental contract clearly had that day as the return date. Each one of these instances cost me hours of phone calls and in-person meetings to try to get my money back. Each time I spoke with someone, they assured me that they would look into it and get back to me within a specified time frame. When I never heard back, I would call again, and there was no record of my previous conversations. They just flat out lie to you, but they do it so nicely that you believe they're sincere. Why did I keep going back? There aren't many car rental options in the neighborhood. This location is relatively affordable. The people there act like they genuinely care. Well, joke's on me no longer. I've decided all the hassle of dealing with this location isn't worth the $50 I save by going somewhere else.

I’ve rented from this location pre-COVID and the pick up and drop off was smooth. The location is small so people were served outside on my current rental, thankfully the weather was good. The car smelled VERY strongly of smoke which I did not realize until I left the location because I kept my mask on until I got home to further disinfect the car. It was too late to return and swap the car at that time. I informed the agent upon return and not sure if he made a note of it or credited my account, but he didn’t seem to be concerned about it. Car was relatively clean and worked well. Revised review 11/2023: I’ve been renting from the Bronx/Riverdale location pretty consistently for about six months now and they have greatly improved. They greet me by name, thank me for my business and are attentive to respond quickly to any concerns with the rental. The staff is relatively young, but they take their jobs very seriously and are committed to providing an excellent customer experience.

I had a reservation which I made through the Enterprise app and was confirmed by email. When I got to the location they told me they didn't have my reservation and they couldn't help me. No customer service at all, they didn't even try to look into what the issue was, basically told me it's not their problem because they wanted to go home. When I called Enterprise they told me the regional manager would call me ASAP. I Haven't heard from them yet and I'm not holding my breath. I'm a loyal Enterprise customer and have rented from different branches around the city and Jersey for many years and while NYC branches are more convenient for me, I would rather go to Jersey and pay the toll then deal with this unprofessional branch again. Thank you Budget in Englewood for saving the day!

The service is poor the employees are unprofessional I spoke to a Alesha Gayle she was no help and she lied and told me I didn't have a reservation that My insurance company had made from yesterday she act like she punch my number in but she didn't even check the system. I called enterprise in fortlee NJ and Melissa was very helpful I even went to fordham road enterprise and they were very helpful they had me in a car with in 20 minutes. Enterprise In Riverdale Needs some nicer people working there...Most of the people that are coming there are experiencing a bad day probably for not having their own car for what ever reason so try to make someone's day.

I rented a vehicle on July 8th 2022 for the weekend and I was rear ended struck by another driver that Monday few minutes before returning the car. I called the management and the staff who was super rude and annoyed refused to get the manager on Tuesday so I can return my security deposit. They didn’t even bother to check my status of true vehicle and it was towed after I was heading to the ambulance and I had to do everything and they did nothing. Bad experiences overall, overpaid and They’re not refusing my deposit so I had to get corporate involved on this.

The pick up and drop off happened seamlessly. Employees were friendly. Car was clean. They seemed to care about safety using mask and social distancing and even wiping down the most touched areas before taking the car. The car drive well. The only thing I don’t like about enterprise is they hit you with insurance quotes when you are about to take off. In most cases, the rate of the rental is doubled by the time you have comprehensive coverage on the car. Overall, I would recommend this site and will rent from enterprise again.

I have been renting from this location a number of times now and never had a bad experience. Lou and his staff are so accommodating and professional and always try their best to please the customer. Of course there are unforeseen situations such as rainstorms which can impact customers returning their cars on time and you may need to wait, but Lou will call the nearby locations to try his best to get everyone a car. Cannot say enough about this team and how they go out of their way to please everyone.

I've been renting cars from this branch of Enterprise for many years now, and have always been pleased with the service, pricing, and ease of renting from them. Now that check-in can be done online in advance, it's even quicker and simpler. And the manager and staff are always very friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the branch closes at one p.m. on Saturday and doesn't reopen until Monday morning, which can mean paying for an extra day sometimes. But otherwise, they're great.

I have rented from Enterprise for a number of years. I have always been pleased with the quality of the service and the cars that I have rented. My one complaint is that they never seem to have the cars completely ready to go when I show up to pick up my car. I realize that they have extra cleaning to complete to ensure that the cars have been properly sanitized, but can't they do this ahead of time instead of waiting until the customer arrives to pick up their car?

Though I requested another type of car, they gave me a Wrangler to drive, it was great. No regrets, the Wrangler was awesome and so smooth driving, but big. I loved it. The (truck!!) was clean easy to drive and very up to date. I have considered buying a wrangler, but because of parking I decided not to due to the difficulty in finding or parking the car. But other than that, Enterprise did good!! Will rent again, hopefully they would give another great car.

I've rented a few times from Enterprise, specifically the location on 232nd and Broadway in the Bronx and my experience has always been a positive one. The staff is very nice and attentive even when there's a slight wait which is expected depending on when you go pick up a car. Haven't had any issues with the vehicles I've rented there as well. Definitely recommend them and will use them again.

I always used to rent card from Enterprise I went to Zipcar don't like it .Turo but I like the car they gave me an Enterprise a Subaru outback beautiful car the only thing when you are waiting for light the car like jumps in and out of idling needs to be repaired but most of all it was a good ride ain't good price thank you Enterprise I'm back. Can't remember having a bad experience here but man was I taken care of last week. The young bros at the front desk reminded me of my former students. Took care of everything. Very accommodating. Might rent more just for the convenience and the parking because my truck is tooooo big

Desperately needs more staff! The manager - part Superman, part Saint - single-handedly serviced up 20 cranky customers on a stormy Saturday morning, with many cars missing and up to 2 hours waiting time. Give this great man a break, please get him some help.
