Update: After appealing the charge to the area manager, I was informed today that Enterprise would not be pursuing the charge because the damage is too small to warrant a visit to a body-shop. Thank you Melissa (my employee point of contact) for helping me out. Still dissapointed about having to go through this whole ordeal but feeling relieved. Recently rented a car because my car is in the shop. After receiving the car and driving around, I noticed that there was pre-existing damage on the car that was not caught in the initial 30-second walk-around inspection (it's a bend on the bottom of the car and hard to notice, especially at eye-level). I go in to report it today to ask for a second opinion on the safety of the car and whether they would want to swap it. The first employee that helped me said "Wow, that looks like it belongs on the car" but once the manager (who coincidentally was the same person who performed the initial inspection) got involved, I got the damage marked down as damage under my "responsibility", claiming that their inspection would have caught it. In reality, their inspection was a 30-second eye-level walk-around of the car where the manager/inspector never once bent down to inspect the bottom of the car and never once inspected the interior of the car expect for marking down the odometer, certainly not a comprehensive inspection and certainly not sufficient to . The manager told me "I encourage all of our customers to take pictures of the car" and I had to correct him because I was not advised of this even once upon initial inspection. I am trying to appeal this claim but now I'm facing the likely possibility of having to go through insurance for receiving a car with pre-existing damage. This is literally the worst customer service I've ever received. If you rent from Enterprise, and especially this location, make sure you have them perform more than a 30-second walkaround or else you might end up paying for damages you're not responsible for.

Do not recommend this enterprise. When I rented a car from them I requested a standard SUV and was told I would be receiving a Jeep Cherokee. When I arrived to pick the car up I was told things changed and was given a luxury SUV. I took videos of the entire car and signed the insurance policy. I later decided to cancel the insurance policy and called them MULTIPLE days requesting to take it off and was finally told I could do it over the phone as a courtesy due to conflicted working hours. The company called and texted my Emergency contact before ever contacting myself for little things. When I went to return the vehicle the auto body shop stated they needed an extra day and the enterprise argued with me about the insurance of the vehicle after I verified with Wawanesa and Luxury Auto body about the coverage. After I returned the vehicle I received $8 of my deposit back so I called to check why and the explanation was “we took the insurance off as a courtesy that we did not have to do for you” (FIVE DAYS AFTER I ASKED) and charged me an extra week of insurance I was unaware I was paying for. When I spoke to Anthony who’s the manager he had an attitude over the phone raising his voice at me saying “I’m not doing anything for you, your claim is closed here. We accommodated to your lifestyle and satisfied you” when in reality they were charging me without telling me. Very poor customer service (except for an employee by the named Ginger she’s great!). They scammed me for money and did not care about customer satisfaction. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Enterprise Miramar gets a 3 star. However, the staff gets a 4 star as they were quick to resolve any issues I encountered. Reserved an economy but got a van, which would have been ok since they gave me a van for the same price as the economy however, the van was dirty on the inside, the adjustor knob on the backseat was broken and so was one of the passenger door which made it unusable and gas below half tank. Returned the van in exchange for an economy and received a Mazda 3. It would have been ok until I got a parking citation for an expired registration which expired in July and it was already September! I called them to let them know about the citation and they offered to pay for it as it was a mistake on their part anyway. On the day the rental was returned I explained to them what made me unhappy about the whole experience and they offered me an upgrade on my next rental. I don't ask for much however, I take notice when a customer's issues are acknowledged and remedied hence the 4 stars for the staff! They were accommodating and understanding and made sure I was satisfied at the end. The experience wasn't great but I can't say I wouldn't rent from them again, the staff made such a difference that the issues on the vehicles were just a little bump on the road in the end.

When I originally was looking for availability for the car I needed and trying to speak with any other rental location, I finally called this Enterprise and the girl who answered gave me great and useful information. After Hertz “not remembering” that I called to book a reservation the morning I dropped off my car, it being near closing time for most businesses; Melissa and her team here had me in a very nice and clean car within an hour. They have been so helpful and great with helping me with dealing with billing the insurance as well as patient with the process of having to deal with two separate insurance companies. Again I want to stress how amazing helpful and kind Melissa has been! Of course no one ever wants to deal with a car accident but Melissa and her team have made this ordeal so much easier.

I've been coming to this store for about 8 years now. This is the only location that I rent from if I'm having work done on a vehicle, or if I need a rental for whatever reason. They're very up front about what they have available, and do their best to match the vehicle to the individual consumers needs. I've rarely had to wait if I've needed to be picked up, and they're prompt about drop offs as well; though a heads-up to them ahead of time is - I'm sure - always appreciated. The staff is helpful, and friendly; they're also very good about communicating, which can be such a lost art in customer service these days. The manager Claudette is professional, personable, and genuine. You can tell she really cares about the guests, the staff, and the overall continued success of the store. 5/5 recommend this location for accessibility, vehicle inventory, staff, and ease of transaction.

I don't expect it to happen every time, but it was great wanting the car a little earlier than planned and being able to get it early. The check out was quick, thorough, and a very pleasant experience. The guy who checked me out was cheerful, helpful & answered all my questions. The car was awesome. We couldn't have had a better vehicle. What a pleasure it was traveling to the Grand Canyon in comfort due to the space and the A/C. I returned the car to the location on MCAS. That was equally quick and painless. We have rented from Enterprise for years. Once, I repeat once, we tried another company and found that we didn't get the quality in the vehicle nor the customer service we get from Enterprise. I highly recommend the company and this particular branch. Oh wait, don't too many of you need a car from here or it will mess me up the next time I need one; )

Extremely upset at how we were treated at your Miramar, CA location. We spoke to the manager today about returning a van, we asked for a few minutes past 3pm and the manager said she would wait until 3:05pm. We rushed to get there and arrived at 3:09pm, no one answered the door. What made this terrible was we saw the manager leave through the back door. We had asked about returning the vehicle at a different location and were told we would be charged an extra $150. We are regular customers. We are upset since we also made a reservation last week for a mini van and were given an SUV that reeked of vomit and alcohol, we told the employee about it and didnt do anything, but charged us full price. We will be returning the vehicle on Saturday and will be the last time we rent from here.

Professional and friendly from the moment I walked in the door. First an apology for keeping me waiting (barely 5 minutes but it was kind of Danny, who was the Enterprise Rep., to apologize). I was in and out in a very short time. During friendly conversation I mentioned to Danny that me and my 2 best friends were going off for a short Girls weekend. He immediately offered me an upgrade if I would like.. and that would be a nice surprise for everyone.. So off I drove in a beautiful new Red SUV and had the best weekend. Danny started the weekend with his gift of the upgrade. This will now be my car rental of choice. Thank you Danny and Thank You Enterprise.. You have a customer for life!!

I am using enterprise rental cars from long time, its very flexible even after reserving the car also they wont charge a single penny until we take the car. Every time i will reserve for a compact sedan but once i got mustang sometimes i got an SUV and standard size cars also. I like these kind of upgrades without spending more money on them. No worries of pick and drop the enterprise employees are good and they provide very good service from the point where they pick us until they drop us back at home. Moreover the weekend deals are great, if you don't want to go for long ride then weekend is much better to get a car at very low price.

Had the worst experience at the enterprise today, it had to deal with the unprofessionalism of Michelle and how she handled the situation with faulty translation system.Now I’m gonna Have to wait for my money in 3-5 business days because it charged to my account and because it didn’t show in there’s they wanted to double charge me twice!! I would likely never come to this location and will warn others. And the only reason I didn’t lose my cool was because at least an employee there named Andrea understood my frustration and provided the best customer service that he could at his level, he should be the manager not Michelle!

The people that work here are very rude. No cars for me Today even though I had a reservation, the company also wnated to bill Me out of pocket. In addition the man came up To the computer and then called over a woman who swore she already spoke to me and she didn’t have anything until later or she could call me later to come pick up a car. I never spoke to her I spoke a male thatbwas it. I didn’t appreciate her minimizing the fact there was no vehicles. Lots of luxury and suv but she wouldn’t even consider upgrading me. Very rude staff.

Ive been renting cars at this Miramar location not only for the convenience of location, but for the customer service I receive Everytime I step into the place. Kara, the assistant manager always greets me with a smile and makes sure my needs are taken care of. The staff is friendly and the check in/ check out process is is very efficient. They take care of you. I will continue to use this Miramar branch because I'm happy of the service they provide and the overall rental experience they offer.

Love, love this location. Haven't changed my mind even though new employees comes through those doors every 3-6 months if I'm lucky they get ti to stay for a year. Right now Kara and Kiley has been incredible with a great attitude even though they are short handed. Liz is the new manager and I've got to meet her twice and she'll fit right in with Kara and Kiley. They go above and beyond to make their customers feel comfortable and satisfied when they rent from this location.

Enterprise locates their offices in convenient places. I appreciate not having to drive across the city to pickup a rental car. Jake and the other gentleman (sorry I don't remember his name )at the Miramar East location were helpful and professional. I was shocked at how fast I was in, out and on my way. Perhaps Enterprise could give lessons to the banking industry on how to treat customers. I highly recommend Enterprise in general and the Miramar East location. DKist

With a 12:00pm reservation, this location closed at or before 11:58am and refused to honor a confirmed reservation. This left me stranded 500 miles from home. Told by the agent that there was nothing he was going to do for me. The absolute worst in customer service!!! Avoid this location!!! 5.11.2017. Update. Contacted by Allie from Enterprise. Resolutions and reassurances have been agreed to. Friendly, professional and did a great job to resolve an ugly experience!

Staff was incredibly friendly and quick to help us! We made a reservation with only a few hours notice and they had the car ready, waiting and clean. On inspection, without prompting they noticed some damage. Didn't matter much to me, but since we have to drop off at a different location, they didn't want us to have issues with the return and gave us a slight upgrade so we didn't have to worry about being charged by a different staff. Thanks for a good experience!

I reserved an SUV and they gave me the Jeep Cherokee 2023 .. it’s a beautiful comfortable car. Enjoyed the rental and the customer service is nice. When needed a car while my car in the service, I chose them and they gave me a nice Maxima .. they just need to better cleaning their cars, specially the windows .. other than that they are good and have a decent fleet and plenty space so you don’t worry where to park your car

This place has a great availability and the best customer service around the area. Elizabeth, Andre and Aly has been very very helpful, they are actually listen to our needs and situation. They are fair in pricing and great at handling last minute resolutions. I had recently rent a 15 pax van from them, they do nothing but excellent work. 5 stars for all of you. Each time I have conducted business with Enterprise the service has been excellent from the time I enter the business till the time when I return the vehicle. Enterprise Rentals is my number one go to when I need a car. Their weekend special is amazing and really wished it was all year long. Every individual I have encountered has great customer service and has gone about and beyond to take care of my needs.

I had to get a rental car since our car was in the repair shop. Was initially unhappy with a smoky smelling car and once I informed Claudette I was immediately changed into a significantly better car than the one I rented. I was appreciative of the immediate response to solve the problem and the sincere apology for my inconvenience. I will definitely come back to this location for future rental needs.

The rep was great. The car was fine. Had less than quarter tank of gas when recieved. The dealer told me at least a week for repair on my car. I filled up the next day but to my surprise my car was done. Not only did I return the car with significant more gas than originally but enterprise charge more on top of that to fill the gas tank. I know my dealer paid for the rental but it just seemed wrong.

Recently went to have my car worked on near Miramar Air Station. I din't have anyone to give me a ride back to North County area. I walked over to Enterprise and rented a vehicle. Great car. Great price/value for rental. Very easy to rent...in and out of rental office very quickly. The staff was very professional and accommodating. I will return to this Enterprise location in the future.

Well I had rented vehicles from this place for a couple of times. I will not say the prices are cheap, I personally feel the prices can be much reduced and increase the demand for vehicles. I always have had some great deals while renting car in my previous state. Hope these guys will also provide me great deals for my future rentals. In terms of customer service they are really good.

Great customer service all around with everyone we interacted with during pickup and return of the rental car. We were stuck in traffic on a Friday afternoon after work and could not make it back in time for the 5:30 PM drop off. We had to bring it by Saturday morning. The manager was very understanding and said it was no problem. Will definitely rent from here again for future needs.

I have rented the car few time in this location, the staffs are friendly and helpful, easy setting up for picking me up and dropping off, the manager and assistance manager always make sure their clients are happy and satisfy, we have a few rental companies and locations to choose in Mira Mesa and I keep come back to this location because the manager. For me to give a 5 star rating to a rental car agency I would need: A short wait time to get the car; Get the car I wanted; Have no problem with the car during the rental period; Get a good rate; Have no problems during the return process. Enterprise not only met this criteria...they exceeded it. Enterprise didn't give me a good rental rate.... they gave me a great rate.

Enterprise is my Go-To for car rentals and the team at the Miramar store always take good care of me. If there's an upgrade available and you're nice and polite and a repeat customer, there's a good chance you can get the bigger, better car for the same price as the smaller car.

I've rented cars here a lot, whether for road trips or having repairs done to my truck at a nearby shop. The people there are always friendly to me. The cars are always washed and sanitized on site since they have their own cleaning garage on the back of their place.

Wow, definitely a 5-stars service. I got into a car accident and was looking for a car rental. The folks here helped me arranged a car and completed all docs in less than 10’. They even prepared clorox wipe in the car. How thoughtful!
