Usually I have a great experience with this location. I rent frequently for business travel. The location opens at 07:30am. I was there exactly at 07:30am. Upon check in I was informed that for another $20.00 I could rent a Buick , otherwise I would have to wait for the intermediate SUV I reserved. I declined the additional cost. I told the staff it wouldn’t matter if the car was not washed as long as I had clean windows. I received the car at 0758!! I told the gal who did the paperwork that I needed the car on time for my business meeting. She had an arrogant attitude, asked in a sarcastic tone what she could do to make it up. I replied I only want the car on time. I had just sat in the car. The gal closed the car door firmly and stated “well let me know if you think of someway I can make it up” and walked away. I rolled down the window and asked her name. She said Rachel and walked away. 2nd issue: Rachel said there was a full tank. When I looked at the tank it was 3/4 full. I took a picture. So first if enterprise accepts reservations for an 0730am pick up, then the vehicle should be ready at the reserved time without the penalty of upgrading another $20.00 . I reserved a vehicle at $47.00 and that’s what I expect to receive. I shouldn’t be black mailed into upgrading. Rachel’s attitude is a poor representation of this location. Rachel, there is not a single thing you can do to “make it up”. I wasn’t asking for anything other than the car I reserved, at the time I reserved it!!! I was late to my meeting! So if and when I come back for my next Rental, I would appreciate an appropriate attitude, the vehicle on time and honesty about the fuel level. I don’t believe Rachel was deceitful, I believe it was her arrogant and cavalier attitude that disrupted her visual acuity. Rebecca and the rest of the staff I have previously encountered are stellar in providing the vehicles on time with a professional attitude. This crew merits a 5 Star review.

Worst customer service ever. I Booked a rental car in advance and called to the contact number pulled from google for (5816 miramar rd) the day before pickup to make change for the reservation from 3 days to 2 days through phone call with a lady and she said that she noted down about that. I wanted to check to see the difference in price for the van they said they can provide as i booked for a full size SUV which they said they will not allow it to mexico. But, she said that she is busy with customers in line and will give me a call back to my phone number, which she noted that too as i said my phone number. Later on the day of the pickup the lady at the reception said, she was the only one helping in the office on that day and she didn't got any phone call about that. I was confident about that and started talking showing the time that i called through my mobile, she then didn't accepted, tried to manipulate stating that i might called enterprise customer care, i explained her that the lady who was talking in phone and found a car in balboa enterprise and i had to go there to pick the car. It was about 2hrs i have wasted with all this process, which screwed my complete 1 day of mexico plan out of 2 days. I never ever recommend 5816 miramar rd.

Not only do my husband and I rent from this location but so do our coworkers base on word of mouth and referrals. The first time, we rented for a personal vacation and the prices were great and the location was ideal. We rented a full size car and received great options upon our arrival. We arrived after work and they were still open, which usually doesn’t happen and they still had options, which also doesn’t happen. The second rental was through our insurance and we were provided a mid size SUV which surprised us because we had a $35 a day limit but because they still had it available, they gave it to us at $35 a day. What a steal! The third time, we asked for the same car since the insurance was still paying and they were able to match the price and allowed us an SUV for three days! The ladies at the front desk are amazing and provided great customer service. They are located on Miramar Rd. and I wasn’t expecting the amazing service or professionalism. I appreciate their business practices and will continue to return and refer.

This was our first time utilizing a rental car service and I chose Enterprise knowing that a franchise service may be a more reliable service with less issues. At first I didn't know what to expect or how the whole process worked. I thought it was a completely smooth check in and receipt of the vehicle until some charges were not explained and left me feeling foolish for not asking or knowing what they were. After some calling I was able to recieve help from a stellar employee, AnnMarie, without her I don't think my experience with this location would have been as pleasant. Her work ethic and hospitality greatly improved the my outlook on the subpar service that her counterparts provided. Her high and positive energy definitely outshines the performance of those around her and helped me understand what I was getting into. Overall, I recommend this location as the prices were more competitive than in the city and we were completely taken care of.

Do not use this rental. over the phone everything was agreed and booked issuance. But as soon as I arrived to receive the car, they decided that they did not have a correct car and wanted me to pay on top for different car class. I know how they are cunning and trying to upsell. No. Update. Finally I received the car. With damage remote. car key fob is completely broken. There just isn't a single button. It is not possible to close or open the doors remotely. The level of gasoline in the car (when received) was only 35%. So I had to go straight to the gas station. Dirty trunk. And it seems to me it was abused car a lot of dents and interior damage and dirt. Front tires must to be replaced. Tires are worn out and dangerous to use with bald tires. As soon as i start use arrow message appear: "Air bag system malfunction". I forgot to mention that the car has strong Cigarettes smell. I'm nonsmoker and this smell is driving me crazy

The people were nice and attentive. We arrived 30 minutes early and were seen immediately after the customer in front of us. They didn't have a car for us on the lot even though the reservation was made months in advance so they personally drove a car over from another location. Our reservation was for the cheapest compact car just because a small car won't ruin our vacation by any means. They ended up driving over a drop top Mustang that made the trip even sweeter with no extra cost. We waited awhile for a great trade off in the end. At the end of our trip, the car was looked over and paid for within 5 minutes. I know because we ordered in Uber that arrived in 3 minutes. They have great service and gave us a lot of great recommendations for our San Diego trip. I will be returning to this enterprise in the future

I can say I was very skeptical going to a new Enterprise being I moved and had to use a different location. I was very abrasive and guarded with every question every and anything Ana said to me but she handled me so well and stayed very polite. I went from 2 day rental to almost a month now until my car is finished this week. Let me tell you Ana has made my rentals very easy and pleasant. Actually way better than any other enterprise I've ever encountered. I would definitely recommend this location to others who have patience. If you have patience for her to take care of you being for her and the other lady 2 handle this all on they own I think it is definitely worth renting your car from this location. Thank you ANA for making my time with you so pleasant. :)

Excellent staff and service at this location. The extra (free) parking to leave your car for a few days at this location is also great, by the way. The only reason I will not give them 5 stars is that when I was in San Francisco, I asked for my car to be switched because I thought there might be a mechanical problem with it. I felt that the Enterprise corporate team could have been much more proactive. Instead I was given the run around by their 'partner' locations in Walnut Creek and San Ramon who seemed to be disinterested in resolving the issue. Instead they kept telling me to drive to the airport (which would have taken half my day). Very disappointing for a company claiming to have the best customer service!

I travel frequently and only rely on Enterprise to rent vehicles since the experience has always been stellar or above 5 stars. I’ve yet to experience any disappointment or dissatisfaction from my experiences with Enterprise! My most favorite is the majority or the employees always go above and beyond when they are getting you ready for your rental. A bonus is that they show a genuine interest in your needs! Sometimes I want a truck, others times I like a convertible, and there’s times when I just want to drive something different they are always willing to accommodate. Thank you again for the follow ups and keeping your customers happy!

My first time using Enterprise on Miramar due to my car being in the shop. I had a great experience, All the staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me a car and I went off on my way. Got home and tried to put two car seats in the back seat but one of the seatbelts was stuck and didn't want to pull out. I brought the car back the enterprise to see if someone could help me to get the seatbelt Out but no one was able too, I guess it was just broken. So they gladly offered me a free upgrade for a different cAr. I also was able to use their pick up and drop of service which was very convenient. Will come Back again!

Customer Service very good. I had made a reservation late afternoon a few hours before closing office at 600pm. I actually made the reservation at the wrong location. When I arrived at the wrong enterprise location, Rebecca was able to switch my rental to HER office , and issued me a car. There were no economy cars available, but Rebecca gave me an upgraded car at no additional expense.(jeep suv). Rebecca provided excellent customer service, ALONG with her wearing an LA CLIPPERS JERSEY that day.(October 28,2016) Thank You Rebecca. THOMAS MARINCE

first time renting a car and car did not want to start after like 2 days .. guy was nice enough to come by to jump start but didnt work so i waited over 3 hours for roadside from them and they never came and had my sister come pick me up and by time the place was closed.. never again with this company ... go fetch you car i left it abandon with the keys inside windows down hood open battery dead no roadside came never got a rental and now i missed worked and other things i need to do... FIRST AND LAST FROM THIS COMPANY !! NEVER AGAIN!!

I rented a vehicle while my car was being repaired. The employees who assisted in the process were very helpful - picking me up from the repair shop, making sure the vehicle suited my needs, and accommodation a drop-off at another, more convenient location. The interaction with my insurance company was seamless, and I did not have any problems. At a time where stress was high for me, Enterprise and its employees were able to execute in such a way that alleviated one of the many things about which I was worrying. Thank you, Enterprise!

Horrible experience. Booked a car for christmas week two weeks in advance. The day before the trip I called them to verify the booking and asked the details of the car they're assigning. Initially they said that the booking is confirmed. However when pressed regarding asking the details of the car, they said that no car is available since they are over booked for the holidays. What's the use of booking early if they can't provide a car with surety. Such irresponsible and unprofessional behavior is unexpected from such a big company.

Kaitlyn has been so wonderful, professional, and kind during such a difficult time! I would give 10 stars if I could! My car broke down and I’ve been so stressed out and kaitlyn has honestly made this whole experience that much easier. Enterprise had what I needed, when I needed it and they where I needed them to be! Sound confusing? Read on please! We camped out in San Diego for the Easter weekend. Our wonderful mini vacation ended when we found transmission fluid pouring out of our 36' dieselpusher that Monday after Easter. Luckily we found Velocity Trucks in Miramar to take care of the rig but we had no tow vehicle with us so I looked up enterprise and they had an office within a quarter mile from Velocity Truck!!! Thank you Enterprise!

Nice staff - facts to support the review: your booking a specific size car. You show up to the pickup location and they don’t have the size you booked. Option A: they rent you a bigger car for a lot more per day or Option B: you can have a smaller car but for the rate per day of the booking. Their staff will tell you that with a straight face: yes you overpay for your rental. This is an incredible business to be in - you can only win. Great stuff

The staff was friendly and inviting. They had the car already waiting for me and were very informative. More than willing to respond and answer any of the questions I had. No hidden fees. Walked around the rental vehicle with me to check for any dents or scratches to record and upon discovering a few things in the car after leaving the facility I reported it right away. And they wrote it down without it affecting me as it was not my fault.

This was the best car rental experience ever! The online price was cheaper than other Enterprise locations we checked in the San Diego area, and their customer service was outstanding. They got a car ready for us prior to our initially requested pick-up time, and it was in great condition and an upgrade from what we expected. Returning the car was especially fast and easy, and Erin was extremely friendly and helpful.

Service was terrible. they did not provide the service they claimed and were only looking for my money. they were very rude and would not accept the fact that they messed up my order and were trying their hardest to charge me for a rental I should have paid $0 out of pocket. they are sneaky and will charge you for their expensive insurance if you are not paying attention. LONG STORY SHORT BE CAREFUL.

I wanted to exchange my rental car with a similar one. I asked if they have any economy cars available. They said yes. Then when I told them I need to exchange a current rental, suddenly they said it was a mistake. The car is not available. Disappointing service. Meanwhile I'm stuck with a car I'm having issues with but seems like they don't care once you have rented it.

With all that's going on they closed the location I regularly use to rent but this location is just as awesome as my regular rental location. Ramone and his staff I really appreciate their attentiveness, professionalism, wonderful personality. I would highly recommend everyone to rent from this location. My wife and I often use the Enterprise location at 5810 Miramar Rd, SD for personal and business purposes. Recently, due to a rear end collision of our auto, Enterprise was used rent a vehicle for about 10-12 days while ours was getting repaired. Their service is exceptional and they are incredibly efficient! Impressive place. Highly recommend this location!

Very nice people! I told them I had trouble driving trucks and they called around until they could find me a smaller car. When I told Matt I wasn't feeling well due to stress, he talked to me to (I think?) keep my mind on something else. I felt noticed and cared about and that's something you dont get from many larger companies these days.

The car I had was nice and clean. All of my questions were answered. However, the only con was limited car options due to demand.

Gave us a rental car that was ON EMPTY, and notified us of this issue after handing over the keys. They then proceeded to spend 15 minutes trying to sell us on insurance despite my constant refusal; 15 minutes which could’ve been well spent on refilling rentals with gas so that customers can actually drive the cars.

I've rented from this location twice in the past few months, and both times I was very pleased. The employees are happy and helpful, and the service is fast and efficient. I especially want to highlight Kaitlyn who helped me get into a different car than I had originally booked, and it made our day! She was great!

Cars are clean. But they straight up lie about Damage/Collision insurance. Enterprise accepts your credit card CDW* but the employee lied that they don't accept it. Conversation turned a bit hostile, I understand thats how they make money through insurance, but shouldn't mislead customers.

Anna Marie did a great job of making my day much better by quickly addressing my needs and making sure each of them were satisfied. Both my cars were stolen the night before and I needed a vehicle for my business. She quickly reserved a truck and gave me a price that was out of this world.

Everything was good except that they were late by more than an hour before dispatching a driver to come pick me up. Even then, the driver had the wrong address (partly my fault) so I ended up taking an uber because I couldn't wait any longer. The rest of the customer experience was great.

I had a good experience overall. The staff was understanding and didn't charge me for returning the car 2 hours late. Also, I got a free upgrade for making a basketball shot in the office -- seriously! Insurance was overpriced, but I just declined it, and drove safely.

2 tries to get a car hire through my corporate booking and twice turned away due to billing issues, enterprise unhelpful overall and will be sending complaint up the chain to change suppliers. Would advise anyone to call ahead to make sure booking exists and valid.
