"If I could give zero stars I would me and my friends went here for the dine out lunch and ordered the chicken sandwich and salad which says it comes with chocolate cake at the end it came with a small bowl of dry chocolate pudding and when we asked what is this they argued that it’s a different display of “cake” and then I said ok but we came for the dine out for a good deal and the same thing I ordered is on the regular menu for far less of a price so I just paid a lot more just to have to small pudding at the end and on the menu they do have the chocolate cake and they said yes it is cake and we asked why didn’t we get the cake they were very hostile so they are clearly just trying to be very cheap for the done out menus and they charged an extra seven dollars to sun fries for side salad

"I have been here 3 times right now and it is easily the best benedict I have ever had"
"Went for lunch! We didn't have to wait for our meals as we were able to order ahead"
We had reservations and went in for the lunch service. We waited a couple minutes before we were seated and ordered shortly after. My friend and I were busy chatting and catching up and didn’t notice the time go by but when we checked our clocks, 45 minutes had gone by and the food still had not arrived. The restaurant was less than half full yet not once did anyone come to check on us or offer a beverage refill for the entire time we were waiting. After another 10 minutes our food finally came, yet the server seemed surprised and even offended when we said our lunch hour was finished and we would need the bill and takeout boxes for our meal. There were no apologies at all or even acknowledgement of the long wait time. The fish and chips special that I ordered had a thick, doughy coating of batter and was very oily. The side of coleslaw was also mushy. Portions overall were on the smaller side and even the fries seemed to be spread thinner on the plate to make the illusion that there was a larger portion than what you actually got. Given this establishment is downtown and surrounded by office buildings, it shouldn’t be unreasonable for patrons to expect to be able to be in and out within the lunch hour on a weekday. Even restaurants with walk-in take out service are able to turn around their orders in less than half of the time that we got our food today. In the rush to pay the bill and get back to work, I’m also fairly certain now that we were overcharged as well but lesson learned, we will not be back at this eating establishment nor would I recommend to others.

We were staying at the Matrix hotel so this was an easy choice for a quick light meal. The catfish poboy was a nice, light meal. Served on a fluffy, fresh bun, with iceberg lettuce, raw onion and red pepper, tomato, and a creamy dill sauce. The catfish was fresh and well cooked, in a light blackening seasoning mix, salty and just a little bit spicy. We took the chance to upgrade the side of fries to a small bowl of gumbo. It was thick and creamy, with a tomato flavour base, and just a little bit of rice, chicken and sausage. Service was quick and very friendly. There’s a simple patio, with lots of shade, along a quiet road. The interior has vibrant red furnishing, giving it the feel of a funky diner/casual resto. This was a great spot for a quick, light meal. Would come here again. The meal with a mug of tea and tip included: $30.86

I have been here 3 times right now and it is easily the best benedict I have ever had. Best brunch. Great atmosphere, great prices and the perfect amount of food. Grilled cheese benedict was phenomenal. The first bite had me saying "oh my god oh my god". This food just makes me happy and we need more local and cajun fare in this city! Come hang out at Envie! You will be glad you did.

Went for lunch! We didn't have to wait for our meals as we were able to order ahead. Our meals arrived and they didn't disappoint us. I had Shrimp Creole and my friend had salad and a burger. I also got a taste of her burger and it was tasty Both of our meals were tasty. If you're pressed for time -- order ahead! We were in and out within a half hour. This location is in the heart of Edmonton. A great location by the river valley. Very scenic ❤️ Had time to go for a little walk when we were done!

First time there. Clean and comfy. Very friendly and efficient server. I had the fried chicken and waffles which was delicious. The green beans and carrots that came with it were in an orange glaze which was amazing. My companion had the cherry coke ribs and when we saw them come out, we all wanted to change our order lol, they looked that amazing. My companion really liked them. I'll definitely back. I want to try the rubs now . Yum.

Was excited to walk into a nice looking restaurant however the experience was quickly soured as they were out of more than half the menu and this was not communicated until we started to try to order. If you’re updating your menu print new ones to not leave people disappointed— it’s really not that hard. You can’t call it “daily soup” if you only serve it on weekdays. The cherry on top was the filthy floor at the booth.

First time trying this place and I definitely would go back! You wouldn't know it was Cajun based on the exterior, but the Po-boy and pasta was great! 7$ for chicken in the pasta is a little steep, but it was very good regardless. I was shocked they were so quiet on a Saturday night, so I hope it gets more traction soon!

Came for the brunch menu and couldn’t be happier. The sweet potato-pecan waffle was so delicious. We also had the stuffed crab beignets, shrimp bisque, and the crab cake Benedict which were amazing! The service was outstanding. Our Server, Tracey, was attentive and so lovely. One of the owners, Jeff, was also so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back and would recommend this to all my friends and family.
The first time I was here the gumbo was fantastic! Tasted fresh but when I returned the second time it tasted like it was a couple days old. The crab cake was soso at best barely taste any crab, the mussel didn’t taste fresh. I feel bad for the owner. It’s a very nice place with a decent location but I can’t see them surviving for much longer.
I love it here. Being new to the area it's perfect

We came in on the weekend and our sever Cassidy was friendly but she wasn't interested in us being there it was nothing fantastic she was more interested in engaging with the manager and bar tender then serving us. It was mediocre to be honest I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Amazing Cajun food! Reasonable prices too. But mostly just wowed by the food, wow wow wow

My family and I decided to try this hole in the wall, don't normally leave reviews but , this was some of the best tasting food I've ever had, 10 outta 10 you gotta eat here. Oh and pricing is almost lower then every other main chain. Good eats ! Cheers to the staff
Food was just ok and slow. Wanted a salad instead of fries and wasn't told it was an extra $5! Not impressed.

Really enjoyed this downtown restaurant from the owners of Louisiana Purchase. The etoufee was fantastic as well as the red velvet cake. Nice to see them busy and glad that we tried them while they were participating in Downtown Dining week.
Stopped there for a drink. They didn't have some of the items listed on the menu. Service was good.

Waiting over a hour. Never got any drinks or any food. Place was half full. How many times servers walk by and serving other people, giving them refill. I am not going back there.

Enjoy ghe Flatbreads and sandwiches for sure. Haven't tried fine in but someday. Downtown isn't favourite for going out.
Very tasteful meals, mac & cheese and pulled pork were seasoned extremely well. Perfect amount of spice with every bite.
