If I could add a sixth star, I would. I discovered this hidden gem one day by chance, and have been a regular since. You could literally blindfold yourself, walk through the kitchen, and bite something prepared by Epicuria, and it would be outstanding. The food is meticulously prepared, well-conceived, and flavoured just-so in a way that leaves you excited and eager to try more. For a delicious sampling, try the beet salad, the beef short rib, and the smoked potato salad. Where most beet salads fail is on acid balance, and this one gets it just so without skewing--as most do--into over-saltiness. The potato salad is deftly dressed, with little hints of elegantly diced vegetables which crunch and excite. While you're at it, buy some ginger molasses cookies and tasty blue cheese pastries. Not only is the food excellent, but the setting is charming, and the staff are beyond friendly. Can't recommend highly enough! Epicuria is a star performer in a small city, and would hold its own easily in downtown Toronto. Prices are competitive for quality.

Food generally good but wish they would answer phone more often. Think only one i ever got on phone was young man. Wasted trip today to get sold out item. Tried phone 6 times over 29 minute period (a sunday) and no answer. Was at store and bought numerous items anyway but no other customers so sceptical was so busy 10 minutes prior. Common occurence in my experience. Thanks for the good food tho. Appreciate frozen item convenience.

I can’t say enough about how helpful Epicuria Food Shop has been to my family. As someone living with a chronic illness, getting healthy meals prepared for my family has been a challenge. Epicuria’s prepared meals have allowed us to continue eating healthy, “home cooked”, delicious meals without the energy needed to prepare them from scratch. Honestly, EVERYTHING we’ve had (treats too!) has been soooo good!

Phenomenal! We ordered from the ready-to-serve catering menu for our rehersal dinner and everything was amazing. The food was perfectly prepared, flavourful and entirely indulgent. Portions are generous and plentyful. All our guests could not resist going for seconds! The team is also extremely professional and prompt to respond. Could not be happier. We will be definitely be coming back for future events!

Cute cafe hidden in the corner, beside The Works. Great place to quickly pop in and out after yoga or for lunch. Although, I don't recall a seating area. I grabbed a few macarons and an Asian pork sandwich. Quality ingredients and great combination of flavours. They had a good variety available - salads, sandwiches, baked goods. I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick meal or snack.

Ordered the Christmas dinner for 8 and it was amazing. So much good food, well packaged, easy pick-up. We originally were going to be 8 given pandemic restrictions we were 4, had so much leftover so gave some away. Every dish was tasty, unique, well balanced, easy to reheat and serve. The cake was to die for, no leftovers! Will definitely order again next Christmas.

Not sure about their food, but if its like their driving then its probably pretty terrible. 5:30am epicuria van almost took me out merging blind into the fast lane this morning. Its a good thing I had space between the jersey barrier and then oncoming traffic cause we would of both been done... talk to your staff about learning how to drive.

Great little outpost for prepared foods for those trying to be health conscious (some more homely options available too). Bountiful supply of frozen foods so you can load up in advance for the week ahead. A little on the pricy side for Ottawa, but good for the odd day where you’re not feeling cooking or going out.

Good products, certain staff are less than friendly. And not accepting cash is irresponsible. It’s bad for privacy, bad for poor people, and bad for the undocumented…and just bad for business; why fork over percentages of each transaction to payment processors when you don’t have to.

I used Epicuria to cater my wedding this week. All of my guests loved the dishes from Epicuria. The food was delicious and portions accurate for the number of guests. I definitely will be using them for future events and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

Had catering from Epicuria on multiple occasions, from 10 ppl breakfast to 100 ppl cocktail event. Always fantastic service, always timely, always super tasty and well presented. Extremely detail-oriented, accommodating, responsive, pleasure to do business with!

Very poor customer service. I called over a month before my event, and they promised to get back to me. I waited a week and half, connected with them again, and by that time they said they were all booked up. Too late to order from somewhere else now.

Oh wow!!! We ordered a cold buffet for a 50th wedding anniversary and it was incredible. Food! Presentation! Attention to detail!!! We are so impressed and so grateful for the exceptional quality. All guests raved about the good!! Thank you so much!!!

Terrible experience with them, will never use them again unfortunately. Plenty of better options within the Ottawa region. They seemed very "unqualified" if you will, and more than happy to take our business elsewhere

Very nice place and nice options - very tasty but I can't give more stars due to unfriendly service. I went twice and both time I didn't felt welcome. I would love to go back for the food but I don't think I will.

Very very bad customer service!! Excellent food but when I pick up food I expect to have ustensiles included and not to be told that I can wash them and reuse them! Otherwise get out of the take out business!

Lots of different takeaway and frozen options. The vegetarian options aren't always very inspired (or available at all) and the prices can be a touch high for what you get. Tasty looking dessert counter.

Delicious food, and a good variety of dishes to choose from. Some vegetarian dishes in stock. Desserts are amazing too! Also, used their catering services and it was beautifully presented and tasty.

Expensive, but usually the foid is really good. Great quality, sometimes the portion are a bit small. They have some Gluten Free options.
