This review is not for the coffee which is actually very good. This review is for the poor set up in Kanata. Went to drive through at 5.05pm Wednesday. Sat there for five minutes waiting to be served. Nothing. Eventually gave up, drove around the bend and saw an employee through the window. They said they closed at five (firstly what kind of food business closes at 5). But there are absolutely no signs that tell you the store is closed, there is a huge blockade that prevents visual to the store. The lights are fully on, there is nothing to suggest that the store is closed at 5.05pm. This truly needs to be addressed as it’s a terrible set up which is going to frustrate many potential clients.

Absolutely beautiful and inviting atmosphere, I'm so glad we have a place like this in Kanata North. However I felt some of the girls on duty were too quick to question if I was going to buy anything as I waited to meet a friend. I would like to think I am not someone who looks like a loiterer. It made me feel slightly unwelcome. Edit: I received a very nice apology about confusing me with another party of people. I am sympathetic with reserving tables for customers but maybe approaching certain parties in a more general way could smooth out confusion.

This review is mainly for the portion of the food . I come here every week and I love the place but I order this nice sized cheese sandwich and obviously they put one small slice of cheese only . Gave my feedback in person but I wasn’t told “ hey we are sorry , we will take your feedback to the kitchen manager or so “ I was told it’s a standard but if I want more cheese I can ask for more .

Please teach your staff how to make a proper flat white. Received one that was watered down. It should be creamy but strong coffee flavor. Not watered down! The atmosphere is a bit chaotic at this location. Music way too loud and not really "coffee shop" feel. Seating is very odd and not well laid out and poor ergonomics. Has potential to improve perhaps.

This place is huge. I love equator coffee. The service was great. I love the interior decor. This place is bright and is the best place to catch up with a friend.

My favourite coffee in Ottawa. First time at the Kanata location and I was quite impressed. Lots of space with an open concept. Good service and as always great coffee. Highly recommend
