the pastas are great, the fetuccine with mushrooms is especially delicious. there’s a wide selection of drinks at the bar but I stuck to the schweppes (which was overpriced to be honest). the service staff is few but attentive and quick when called, it helps to be polite and say thank you! the main courses are a little slow to arrive allowing you to settle in before eating. Wifi is also fast if you need to go online. the atmosphere is wonderful, casual and friendly and the air conditioning is perfectly adequate for 30 degree weather in my experience. overall a 5/5, a great place to rest and enjoy a hearty meal before heading out to explore italy in the summer!

Best pesto I’ve ever had, and that’s coming from someone who has made hundreds of portions of pesto from homegrown basil/parsley. My wife loved the fettuccine ai funghi. I was worried given how touristy the area was that we wouldn’t find a good meal, but this place is fantastic and reasonably priced. Ignore the “espresso bar” description, this place also cooks up some great dishes. Squisito!

Simple but pleasantly surprised. This cute little cafe/restaurant had good staff and service with a smile. The pasta was delicious and the wine list simple, but good. Prices were fair and the desserts/treats were wonderful. Washroom is on basement floor and accessible only by stairs. Staff was polite. The outdoor seating area looked clean and simple.

Went today with my mom and had a good experience. We both shared a grilled vegetable pizza which was plenty for two of us that we couldn't even finish it and was full of flavor. We finished out meal off with a chai latte and vanilla cappuccino which was both delicious and appealing to the eyes. Had the pistachio cannoli at the end and omg I want to bring some back to the states with me! The ambience outside was sooo cute and whimsical, I would def come back to this place again.

Came to this place originally for afternoon coffee, but then saw the pesto pasta next table and had to order it. Best pesto I've had in a while. For a dish of this quality, the price is unbelievably cheap. A must try if you come here. For the coffee-lovers out there, coffee was also excellent, and the barista has won several coffee awards. Absolutely recommend.

The service was extremely friendly and we were seated inside right away. Pasta all around - no complaints for the pesto, creamy mushroom sauce, carbonara, and creamy sauced tortellini. I'm leaving this review before trying the sandwich. People are so friendly and the street is very quiet. Only a few cars are passing and other than the great chill music that comes from inside, you only hear the voices of the tourists passing by. The greatest atmosphere is induced for an Italian coffee break. ❤️

Er Baretto was very good. The servers were nice, friendly and very accommodating to our needs. It was our last morning in Rome and we stumbled on Er Barretto as we were walking to the train. It was a great little breakfast and lunch find. We will visit here again! Espresso Macchiati!

We came here for a coffee and some Cannoli. Both were very delicious. You should definitely try Pistachio Cannoli. Croquant went so well with pistachio cream. They have a strange washroom which works with a paddle. For a short period of time I tried to figure out how this works and It was amusing. One of the waitresses was not talking in English but we communicated without any problems, It was also interesting.

If you’re in your way to colosseum or happen to be around the area you need to come here. They have excellent service and the atmosphere is great. The cafe is located in a quite, shaded street where they have outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. Prices aren’t too expensive and they play nice music.

Marco was wonderful and very attentive. We struck up a conversation and he was very nice and fun to talk to. He checked in at the appropriate times and was just a nice local to chat with. And the tiramisu is to die for. I’ll be stopping by before my trip ends !

This is tucked away in a beautiful street in Rome. Amazing cappuccino, probably the best tiramisu of our lives and the staff was incredibly sweet. Their panini was also fantastic. I highly recommend it. We sat outside under the shade on a hot day and it was perfect with a light breeze.

It’s a nice place, location is convenient, the setting is good with some tables outside. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had an espresso which was okay, a lemon pastry which was too sweet for me and a sponge cake that was very good. They have wifi so it would be nice to work inside.

Love the music, not too loud or too quiet, the quattro formaggi pizza with prosciutto is sooo gooooooooood. Simply too tasty. I drink Coca Cola Zero and it was cool, because they even added a piece of lemon! Overall rating: 10/10, recommend for eating here.

Amazing little spot not far from the Colosseum. Friendly service, tasty coffee and yummy pasta. Went as a group of three in March and really enjoyed a tasty and reasonably-priced lunch (40 euros for three coffees and three mains which were good sized portions). If it wasn't so far from our accommodation we would definitely go back. Would highly recommend!

Lovely café at the monti district. Relaxed atmosphere with fast and efficient service (I don't know how, but only one waiter served all the tables...). Generous portions... The only minus is the toilet... fix needed and soap is required...

Delicious coffee and pastries. Cozy location and atmosphere. We were trying to find a coffee shop by our b&b while in Rome and this was highly rated. It certainly is rated high for a reason. The traffic is not bad and it’s on a cute side street. We came here twice and the baristas recognized us and welcomed us warmly. Stop by and tell them Ciao for us!

Lovely coffee place and really cozy feeling. We took 2 cappuccinos which were made perfect and nuna's cake and it was delicious. Would come back

they have soy milk! went here after the colosseum for a latte and it did not disappoint! i usually hate soy milk but this was not bad at all! (def would’ve preferred other milks tho). €4 for soy milk latte compared to €3.5 for the normal one.

Enjoyed our coffees and croissants outside on the patio. Lovely service, comes with glasses of water. Latte was certainly larger than from other places but the price was steeper too. Although I believe the prices may also be lower if you enjoy your coffee inside.

We came here looking for a quick bite and some coffee near our hotel. We had an amazing hazelnut cappuccino. We ended up ordering pasta and pizza, both good. The server was friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. Cute cozy place. Will come back on our next trip to Rome.

Mrs.C had the caprese salad with a glass of white wine. I had the insalata "El berratto" and a glass of red from Chianti. For desert, we shared the tiramisu. It was a perfect meal after flying from Boston via Amsterdam to Rome. Not too heavy but satisfying.

A lively place with friendly staff (who speak English) and decent food and coffee. It was comfortable to open a laptop up to do some work, though probably not ideal to do this during the lunch hours. Seemed to be a popular destination for both tourists and locals. Grazie!

Awful coffee. Flat white was bigger than cappuccino and didn’t taste like coffee at all, it was like really mild latte. But they know how to do latte art. Cannoli was unusual but still tasty.
