Hi... Went to do my hair color and showed the stylist a picture about 5 times. I asked if she would be able to do it, she said yes. Her assistant was grumpy early in the morning. I sat there from 9:00am to 12:30pm with not even an offer to have a cup of water, leave alone juice. Did not manage my hair well. Knotted it badly. The hair stylist says my ends were bad but she did a split end cut about 3 weeks ago At the end my color was not done according to the picture and excuses were made about stripping and hair ends etc. I paid an arm and a leg. I'm terribly disappointed, as I expected to see wat I requested. The stylists kept saying I know ur color, etc but I did not ask for her preferences, I asked for something that I liked. Wouldn't recommend them to do color.

Hi Was a first time customer and had the worst experience ever I’ve been to many hair salons and by far this one reach the top of my worst list. Jonathan cut my hair and all I felt like was just a head of hair to cut , scissors happy and not friendly said so much of how my hair should be cut but couldn’t deliver. He felt so upset while cutting my hair only to spoil it. After cutting my hair he indirectly said I shouldn’t come back and that for me was the height of disrespect and poor service . I would never recommend him to anyone who is a first timer. Food for thought regardless of how long you’ve been doing something if you haven’t learnt how to treat the person who supports your passion it’s not a passion anymore just a business.

Tried this hair salon for the first time and I am genuinely displeased with their service. At reception I requested a particular hairstylist (as I've been told by more than one person that she is good), I was not informed that the stylist I requested was unavailable to do my hair and that someone else will do my hair instead. Nevertheless I gave the stylist that came to me a chance only to have my hair ruined. I clearly asked for a straight cut in the back and for my hair to be feathered in the front. What I got instead is similar to a mullet. My hair can't be corrected as a huge part of the front has been cut of. This is honestly so disappointing.

Hi, I grew out my eyebrows for 2 months and wanted to have them well groomed for the festive season at a nice salon. I went in today to have my eyebrows done in room 2, I think the beauticians name is Nirvana. She is very rude and the manner is which she speaks is unprofessional. I have arched and thick eyebrows only to look in the mirror and find my eyebrows thin as a match stick with one eyebrow rounded and another eyebrow arched. How is this a professional beautician when she gives each eyebrow a different shape? I don't recommend this lady, based on my experience, she isn't a qualified beautician.

I am extremely particular with my hair. In my opinion the work of Jonathan my hairstylist far outweighs many hairstylists in and around kzn... I have been to salons in affluent areas a with hairstylists that claim to be excellent in their professions. However it is very disappointing that I have had my hair done at Hair 4 u Scott's and Wells and many other so called "brand name" salons and had my hair buggered... Some of these hairstylists should reconsider their professions seriously....

Mixed reviews. The hairdresser was excellent at the salon. Her professionalism and client service was excellent. The beautician is someone I would never go back to. Overly priced. The manner in which she had applied her beauty techniques left me scared for 3weeks and visiting a dermatologist. However the manager did offer to pay for my medication.

A very well done to Adele and Pam for my superd look. You guys really made my day from the excellent wash cut and set to my face being done, I could have never asked for anything better. You guys made me look great and turn heads for my shift party. Really appreciate you guys. The service was amazing and the end result even better. #OnlyTheBest

Start from reception, not friendly at all, not welcoming, no smile. Not organised, didn't even expect me even though i had an appointment. The wash was terrible and fast. Not as professional as they were when they were in phase 1 of chatsworth centre.

I visited the salon a week ago i did my hair and the colour wahed out in the same week furthermore the apprentice didnt advice me correctly..i wont be going back there ..unsatisfied dissappointed

Cookie is the best stylist @ Esther's. She has been cutting my hair since I finished school. With Adele from beauty room @ Esther's your eyebrows will always be on fleek

They only person that should be doing eyebrows there is Milo the other beautician are rude ,the ladie in the reception area is rude and seems like she is always angry.

My hair is thick and not a lot of people can cut and style thick hair but Pam does my hair to perfection. I will definitely recommend Pam.
