Most people do not like visiting the dentist 'but I do' and, in fact, I look forward to my six monthly check up and session with the hygienist, both of whom I trust implicitly. I have been going to Ethicare Dental, a family run private dental practice in Wandsworth, for over ten years; it is well located being only a short walk from East Putney tube station. I first met my dentist, Dr Klaudia Tombolis, when she was working for a dental practice in Hammersmith where I live. I was so impressed in the way she cared for and looked after my teeth that I did not hesitate to follow her when she moved out of the area and relocated, despite being further for me to travel. Above all, it is not often that one would regard one's dentist as a friend 'but I do'. Both Klaudia and her husband, Glafcos, are charming people and experienced dentists running a very modern practice and I would not hesitate recommending Ethicare Dental to any of my friends.

I don’t have very strong teeth and I have been searching for a good dentist for years. In 2016 I came across ethicare dental and I must say my teeth have never been in a better condition they are now. Dr. Glafcus has been my dentist for 4 years and has provided nothing but exceptional services/care. He really knows my (teeth) history and would always give the best advice regarding care, any treatments and concerns. Fillings and other materials are high quality so you know its going to last for a very long time. Cynthia, my hygienist, has thought me how to look best after my teeth at home + other tips. You would never feel uncomfortable asking any questions and would never receive any unnecessary treatments. The plans are designed for you and what’s best for your teeth. Most importantly they are open on sat which is a great benefit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good dentist.

First dentist trip in 12 months, new to the area so thought I’d try a dentist slightly more local, did so on a very good deal groupon voucher. There was absolutely no compromise on service which can often be the case when purchasing through groupon-type websites. I’m fairly uncomfortable with any kind of dental treatment but the entire check-up was outstanding, incredibly thorough in the clean and the exam, very mindful of my nervousness the entire time, teeth feel like silk and look like pearl after the polish! Just an incredibly decent, well-priced service from a super friendly team, with lots of knowledge and useful advice offered. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Glafcos for over 20 years and have had terrible dental experiences in childhood fear of choking etc so having any treatment causes great anxiety I have had crowns and root canal treatment One of the most valuable things are my hygiene visits which help with prevention I had a filling replacement done today and Glafcos and Patrica showed warmth care and compassion I feel safe and supported which is priceless I would encourage anyone who is nervous to come to Ethicare you are heard and understood I am also a wheelchair user and the practice is accessible Thank you for showing such kindness and care on a difficult day Rosie Willis

I went in today for emergency treatment as I have a bad infection on one of my teeth. I was treated by Dr.Klaudia who in all aspects is a wonderful professional who has the ability tu cure the fear of dentist to anyone I m quite apprehensive with dentists and Klaudia made sure I was comfortable, she explained what I need to do in detail, the treatment was outstanding I am really going to keep her as my dentist in London! Also important if you need a doctor who can speak Italian she is the one! The assistant Sara was sweet and highly professional which made things even nicer as far as dentists go Thank you for your great assessment and advice as well!

I went to Ethicare for two reasons. It was a 5 minute walk from my house and they had an offer on for new patients. I duly saw Glafcos who did a great job at checking my teeth and mouth over. Not too rough and always explaining things as he went. I had a great demonstration on how to floss even more effectively and some good advice for levelling up my dental care even more. Glafcos also showed myself the x-rays on a monitor, explaining the structure of my mouth and things to watch out for. A really great experience (for a dentists ) and would recommend Glafcos and the practice to anyone.

After a frantic call around of nearby dentists, I visited Ethicare following an injury that led to me losing a front tooth. From being greeted by the friendly receptionist when I entered the practice almost a year ago to sitting in the chair undergoing rigorous work, I have been cared for and looked after well by Dr Glafcos and his team. They spoke clearly and honestly about all my procedures and have been incredibly patient. I am so thankful that 11 months later, because of this practice, I can flash a big, bright toothy confident smile.

Dr Priti is absolutely brilliant as an orthodontist and a person. She listens to what you would like from the treatment and attends to that image while holding the healthiest and the most beneficial options at the forefront of her treatment. Also, Dr. Tombolis is absolutely excellent at cleaning and check ups. They both walk you through the process which is something I have not experienced before. The receptionist Emily is also as friendly and helpful as she can be. I could not recommend this place more.

Glafcos is a dentist you can trust. He was initially recommended to me by a friend after another practice suggested a long list of unnecessary expensive procedures. Glafcos has always given me honest assessments and been clear about the different options available to me. Considering that he has often recommended choices which did not maximise his fees, I have always trusted him. I moved out of Putney many years ago but still go back to him even if it takes me an hour on the tube.

I had serious toothache 2 or 3 months ago. I was very scared to see dentist. Dr Glafcos is very professional and patient. He explained to me what was the reason caused the toothache. In fact, there is something to do with my nerves and he recommended me to do the root canal. He understands the root canal fee would be quite high and gives me his professional advice to me on what should i do. I would highly recommend Dr Glafcos to all my friends.

I cannot recommend Ethicare enough. Priti took care great of me throughout the Invisalign process, making sure I was always comfortable and aware of the next steps. The ladies on reception are friendly and always greet you with a smile and communicate really well. The other dentists at the practice always say hello and greet you. Such a great place and if you’re considering Invisalign or other treatment, I would highly recommend!

I am high fear patient. Dr. Klaudia was patient, gentle and respectful. She took extra time to ensure my comfort and explained the process/results thoroughly. The office space was bright (but not too bright), well ventilated, clean and appeared sanitary. The staff was welcoming and courteous. The price break down was clear and I had no problems with the extra documentation for my private insurance. Highly recommend!

Admittedly I'm biased, having been a client for a few years. I had always been a NHS patient so initially I was put off by the cost. Years down the line I must say that it's been worth every penny. Friendly professional staff, comfortable environment and excellent treatment. Never got this with the NHS. The truth is that I can't make a comparison with other private dentists because I have never tried any others.

Dr. Glafcos is extremely professional, compassionate, attentive and one of the most ethical medical professionals I have ever had to deal with. I have been using his services for more than 5 years and keep on going to his practice even through I have moved out of the area. I can say he has managed and resolved multiple issues I have had with my teeth, and I always feel in safe hands with him. Highly recommend!

I was greeted politely at the main reception. I was seen by Dr. Glafcos Tombolis. He was nice and friendly. He asked me for my concerns before going ahead. I always feel anxious when I hear drilling sounds near my teeth. But Dr. Glafcos Tombolis was very gentle and the procedure was not too uncomfortable. Overall, the service was brilliant. Great location, very well kept office, the Groupon deal I bought included x rays and even a video of my teeth. Klaudia gave my teeth a great clean and polish and even gave me some advise on how to improve my teeth, which no other dentist has ever mentioned to me before. Great experience, would recommend, and will return next year!

Dr Glafcos is an amazing professional. He explains in detail what's going on, with a language that everyone can understand. I had very good treatment when I required a root canal filling. The procedure took a little longer than expected because the tooth turned out to be an unusual one having 3 roots instead of the normal 2 but the specialist dentist was extremely calm friendly and reassuring so all went well

Glafcos Tombolis has been my dentist for a good many years. He has a very pleasant manner. He has inserted fillings and crowns, organised root canal work and a molar implant, all of which were trouble-free. And he has generally given me good advice about dental care.

A VERY BAD PRACTICE TO AVOID. My husband was in pain and needed emergency treatment, was shocked that the dentist charged him more than £100 just for an "assessment" and not able to give him any treatment.
