My family has been bringing our cats here for at least 10 years but the last few times I’ve went I’ve felt so disrespected and honestly just sad. I guess the first red flag was when they shaved my elderly cat’s whiskers off and lied saying they’d grow back... poor thing was already off balance but now it was worse and stayed that way until he passed away. Even after this I still gave them a few more chances. My oldest cat(shaved whiskers) had to be euthanized recently and we were so thankful to be allowed in to say goodbye. The vet was really nice but once my cat had passed they just left us in the room with his lifeless body for literally like 30 minutes all throughout which we kept letting anyone we saw know that we were done and we had our time with him. We expected someone to guide us through payment or give us some sort of indication that we could leave. Especially since this is during COVID we didn’t think we should leave the room they left us in just out of respect for their business and safety. Eventually after numerous attempts to get their attention they finally take his body away and say “we’ll bill you, sorry for your loss” ok thanks lol. More recently my other cat had gotten in a cat fight and had a wound we wanted to get checked out. It didn’t look too bad that I could see but from what I understand it was worse under the surface. They said it was an abscess and needed to be cleaned along with oral antibiotics. When they bring him back out to the car I’m not able to see him through the carrier but I ask if he needs a cone since it sounds like an open wound and easily scratchable being near his head. I was surprised when they said no he should be fine but I just assumed it wasn’t as bad as i thought. When I get home however, I see my cat has a bloody hole in his head the size of an olive and about half an inch deep. I call back because I’m sure he would need a cone in order to heal and one of the receptionists say “well they sell them at the pet store...” and hung up. I had just paid over $200 for them to “treat” my cat and they can’t give me a little piece of plastic for free? Classy, really shows they care about my cat right. I was disgusted at this point but I assumed the checkup a week later that THEY SCHEDULED was free like it should be and always was in the past. As they hold my cat hostage they call me and say “visa or MasterCard?” Apparently rechecks are now about $50, almost as much as a full examination. I start to panic as I wasn’t prepared to pay for a recheck. By this point I’m crying as I ask if they could bill it to my house so my parents could pay for it and they say “sorry we no longer do that :)”. I’m truly embarrassed I gave them so many chances, but not as embarrassed as I’d be to work here.
We started coming here in 2015/2016 after adopting 2 surrendered Maltese. Overall had a rather positive experience with this hospital. You bring a beloved dog to a DVM hoping they can find out what's wrong and try and make your dog better. You don't expect the following to happen. All that changed on Tuesday the 13 of December at 3:20pm. That'll when my little girl died at home after leaving the hospital 15 minutes earlier. She was only 5lb Pomeranian but the things the hospital did overwhelmed her. She'd been not eating and coughing and seizures. So we brought her there to find out what's wrong and help her get better. They did X-rays, drew blood, and gave her an injection. Those three thing simply were too much for her to handle so close together. Luckily she lived until we got home the peacefully passed away. Trust your feelings. You know your pet better than anyone else. Now she's gone.
This place was so thoughtful, proffessional and understanding when we just recently put our 14 year old boxer Kiera down. They welcomed us with a room in less than 60 seconds, they were extremely compassionate and patient. Made Kiera feel comfortable up until her last second, made my girlfriend and I comfortable when we were struggling with it and made things easier than we thought they were going to be. Then just today, almost a week later, we recieved a Card signed by the entire staff letting us know that they were sorry for our loss and reassured us that we gave her the best home and life possible. Ive never experienced a place like this and its more than recommended. Its the ONLY place id choose for that type of day. I cant thank them enough and im eternally grateful for how they operate. Bless this place.
I brought my new kitten in for an appt. today and must say that the service was phenomenal. I was a bit on the edge because my 1st born fur child is a bottle baby aka I fed him so he tends to get aggressive with other people. Dr. Lee personally came out to speak to me about the new kitten and what we can do to calm the older children down and get them adjusted to the new kitty. All went well and I went home much more relaxed and at peace. I am very much so appreciative to Dr. Lee and her staff. Thank you for outstanding service, compassionate care, and also for being so very dedicated to my family and our pets. Love Jakubovic - Celosmanovic - Stanisic Family <3
Evergreen Veterinary Clinic is the place to go to alleviate your worries and concerns about your pet. I recently had my 10 year old Westie get into some problems, but Dr. David Louie took care of him really well. He was very reassuring with my dog's problems and gave his honest yet comforting opinion. I bombarded him with phone calls multiple days in a row. He was very understanding towards my dog's situation both medically and financially. Thanks to him, my dog is alive and well, and I didn't break the bank to have it happen. THANK YOU DR. LOUIE
I take both of my cats here regularly for general care and vaccinations. The doctors are always very friendly and compassionate. The staff are also friendly of course and prices are reasonable although veterinary care in general is usually somewhat pricey. My only complaint is that it can get very busy in there... I've waited in line 10 minutes to be helped only to have someone who just walked in somehow manage to weazel their wait past me to be helped first.
We have been coming here for 6 years with cats and dogs and are thrilled with the staff and the services. Our corgi required emergency surgey (after eating a nylabone) and they were caring, honest, upfront with pricing and really cared about our pup! I appreciate the options for days/times for visits as it can be tough to get 3 animals to a vet on a Wednesday at 5:30 - Saturday and Sunday appointments available to boot. Thanks
I took my best friend Tabby here, an older cat with kidney issues. Evergreen Veterinary Clinic was a lifesaver, providing excellent care. Dr. Scott, a miracle worker, answered all my questions and kept my little friend going for as long as possible. We've trusted them for 20 years, and their professionalism, care, lab result updates, and cost make them stand out in the area. Our pets are in good hands here!
Evergreen Veterinary Clinic has taken care of our cats for about 20 years. The vets have always been professional and caring. They call with lab results and take time to talk over recommended next steps. Prescriptions are refilled promptly. Cost is favorable compared to other services in our area. We will continue to visit them to the benefit of our pets.
The staff is always super friendly here.... they've been taking care of my "kids" for over 20yrs. Dr's Scott and Arvizu are my favorite, the most personable and very comforting when talking to you about your pet. Dr Matre is good as well, but more straight to the point. I had one experience with Dr Louie over 10yrs ago and was horribly disappointed
I took my best friend tabby here. He was an older cat who started to develop kidney issues. They helped with an echocardiogram that helped narrow it down to his kidneys and kept him regularly checked up. Dr Scott was a miracle worker who answered all my questions and kept my little friend going for as long as he as could go.
Been going here for decades, but lately its turn into a bad experience. The past couple of times, the receptionist is super rude. The last time i called for an appointment and left a message for an appointment, they never returned the voicemail. Not sure if they're going out of business or what
This place takes care of your pets as family. I have been coming here for my dogs for years and they are forever in my heart. They were sympathetic when we had a dog loss in our family and helped with our grieving. Bless this place.
Wonderful place to go. We have been taking our dogs here for years. Everyone is very friendly and they truly care about your pet. We have been to a few other vets in the area but no other place comes close. Dr. Scott is awesome!
I've been going to Evergreen Vet Clinic for about 20 years. They've been the primary physicians for my 4 family dogs and 3 family cats over a 20 year period. They are absolutely the best!
The doctors and staff go above and beyond any veterinary treatment inside and out of the clinic . A special shout out to Dr.Barbara Lee , Megan and sue . Thank you is not enough.
We have taken our pets here since 2003. We have received honest and heart felt treatment that was in the best interest of our pets. We are thankful for having them.
Great staff. Been my family vet for years and they've always been fantastic! I drive 50 miles to continue to see them rather than find another vet i trust.
$85 per visit, dr. Lee is very nice!! The receptionists are typically closed off & dont look generally happy but other than that a pretty good clinic
Inconsistent service with receptionists, sometimes you get someone on the phone who's very knowledgable and courteous, other times - the opposite.
Excellent customer service, lovely and caring staff. Easy access in and out of office. Late hours on certain days for working families.
Have gone here for many years and love the staff and vets. Always caring and attentive to the pets and people.
We have always gotten a good service and care from the professionals here. Dr. Arvizu is great.
I've taken all my animals to the clinic for years and have always gotten great care.
