Exotic Aquarium World in Mississauga is one of the best saltwater/reef aquarium stores in the GTA. The store offers the best fish selection in the whole Southern Ontario area, ranging from common fish (like blue/yellow/purple tangs) to rare fish (barracuda & sharks). Additionally, there is a great selection of corals including softies, lps and sps. Amazing variety of anemones too. The store has a crazy selection of inverts, including snails, starfishs, shrimps, crabs and so much more. If you think that this is all what the store has to offer, respectfully, your're mistaken. Exotic Aquarium World has a vast supply of aquarium equipment, maintance products, foods (dry and frozen), and other needed products, which almost all of the products are carried from highly respected reef industry compaines (ex. AI, Hydra, Radion, Red Sea). The owner, Abdul, is a super great and kind gentleman. He values his customers, therefore when asked questions he will always provide you with his experienced and accurate answers, rather than forcing you into a sale or providing you with false statements or facts. Have I mentioned the store prices? Well, let me tell you, they are the best it gets. His prices on fish, coral, equipment, and food outcompetes the local competition by a mile. The store itself is beautifully kept. Tanks are regulary cleaned, alage free, pest free. He values his lifestock deeply, thus fish are pest free too. Shelving for dry products are extremely organized and for the most part, easily accessible. The interior has an open concept, thus reducing crowding by a lot. Livestock shipments are a regular occurence to the store, therefore the tanks are always stocked (stocked well and NOT overcrowded). The store really puts EXOTIC in Exotic Aquarium World, as rare creatures usually can be found, such as barracudas, sharks, and even octopuses. I can't stress this enough, if you want extremely healthy fish, corals, inverts, & anemones and also in perfect condition equipment, this is the reef shop to go to.

Amazing store, amazing staff. I buy all my fish and dry goods here. I often get stuck here longer than I planned because of the great conversation and the knowledge. Even as an experienced Reefer, I learn new things every-time I visit. I reef so there is a limit to what I can buy but this place always has a variety of reef safe and not but also some crazy interesting creatures here you won’t find at other stores. Today I held a baby octopus the size of a fingernail, amazing! Not a better store or personalities will you find elsewhere in the GTA. And for the real Reefer that is savvy, everything is clean, priced competitively and no pests to sneak up on you when you get home. This place needs to be on your list. Interesting thing to add… there is an giant new tank like 2000 gallons in here that I am pretty sure will have a shark or something amazing in it soon. It’s empty still but I think water will go in soon!

Exotic Aquarium World is such an amazing fish, coral store with all accessories that you need in the hobby. They have high quality care for the livestock that they sell and so you are assured of high quality fish and coral that you will buy. The prices are truly friendly and fair compared to the big fish stores and other coral stores within Mississauga area. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable of every fish and coral available in the store. After finding this fish store and getting very healthy fish and corals, and having been treated very nicely by the owner/staff, it will be very hard for me to buy from any other stores. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE TO TRY THIS STORE!!! YOU WILL SURELY BE HAPPY YOU DID.

This store is what you would call big enough to serve, small enough to care. They may not always have crazy deals or crazy nice coral pieces, but the owner is extremely nice to everyone who comes in here and willing to work with you. They almost have one shipment in every week which keeps people going back. Since started shopping here, I have been back at least once a week and never leaving empty handed. it is draining my kids college funds but that is something they can fill with OSAP. my appetite for coral and new fish is more important for the time being. Highly recommended.

I have visited exotic aquarium world regularly since the opening and I am never disappointed! There is always a great variety of fish, corals and invertebrates from the more affordable, common species to the very high end hard to find ones. In our conversations before purchasing any livestock, I have always received great advices and never felt that anything was pushed on me. In fact, I can say I was guided in the right direction a few times and it saved me a lot of troubles. I highly recommend visiting exotic aquarium world.

Exotic Aquarium World is a hidden gem for saltwater enthusiasts that I recently discovered in Mississauga. The store has a great selection of fish, corals, inverts and hardware. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of some of the coral frags. The owner is highly experienced in all aspects of saltwater/reef keeping and will try to source specific livestock requests for people or simply answer questions. Check them out. We were looking for a heater for our betta fish and chanced upon this store. So impressed with their saltwater fishes! And the corals are impressive and beautiful! Now I would like to have a saltwater aquarium! The owner is friendly and helpful. I ended up buying spongebob’s house for my betta. But I can’t forget the exotic fishes they have. Would definitely buy from them if and when I decide to have saltwater aquarium.

One of the best aquarium stores for Saltwater Fish. I’ve been to over 6-7 different coral/salt water stores and this place is the cleanest and offers the most competitive prices out of all of them. Great selection of fish and a very clean store. Owner was very helpful and even gave a 20% discount. Great experience all around. Would highly recommend everyone check this place out.

Very clean shop. Well organized and nicely lit. Selection of Corals, hard and soft, in mainly small sizes. Fish of all sizes from clowns, to triggers and various invertebrates. Although we didn’t get a chance to talk with the owner, If you have a marine or reef tank this place is worth visiting. (No Freshwater here)

Prices are very good. Abdul (the owner) is a great guy. Very honest (which is a rarity in this hobby) and is happy to chat and share knowledge / insight. Interesting variety of marine livestock. Personally, I go two hours (1 way) out of my way to do business with this store. Would definitely recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough about exotic aquarium world. The service was outstanding, the coral and fish are all healthy and happy, and the prices were beyond reasonable. I am still shocked at the number of corals we purchased and how competitively they were priced. I will definitely be back!
