My husband and I booked our honeymoon vacation with Expedia CruiseShipCentre on Hazeldean Rd. First, we booked a Mediterranean cruise (placed a deposit) then our flights (paid in full). We were so excited! So, when the pandemic ensued and we realized that our dream vacation would not be possible, it was heartbreaking! We started enquiring about a refund in early March 2020. We were told by our agent (Bev) to “hang tight” and monitor how the situation continued to evolve. Shortly after, we made it very clear that we didn’t want to wait any longer and that we wanted to officially cancel our trip and receive a refund. We received a reimbursement for our cruise in a fairly timely fashion. However, week after week, we followed up with our agent (all documented in email - never rude - every email contains phrases like “how are you / I hope you’re doing well despite everything going on / take care) in regards to our flights and we continued to receive excuses as to why our flights hadn’t been officially cancelled (ie: can’t get through to the airline, the flights aren’t officially “cancelled” yet - meaning we don’t qualify for reimbursement, the airline isn’t working on June bookings yet, etc.). After weeks of not getting a straight answer, we called the airline ourselves and were told that we “absolutely” qualify for reimbursement and should apply for a refund “ASAP” because the longer we wait, the longer it will take to see our money again. The airline indicated that a “couple weeks” after officially cancelling, we would have our full reimbursement. After our agent finally cancelled the flights, she informed us that it would actually take 8 months OR MORE (keep in mind we began asking for the cancellation in March and it wasn’t until the end of May that she actually cancelled our booking). My husband spoke with the owner (Elliot) on the phone and expressed that this was not acceptable. Elliot said he would look into it and that he would be in touch the following day. Two days later (after not hearing from him) I called him and requested an update. Elliot said that there was nothing that could be done and it would take 9 months (or more) before we would see our money. I calmly said “Elliot, this is not okay, and we are not willing to accept this”, which resulted in him completely losing his temper. Elliot wouldn’t let me explain my thoughts, experience or feelings - he was speaking in a very elevated and aggressive tone, and he said “Bev warned me that Andrew’s wife would be calling because she’s crazy! You pushed and pushed the nicest lady until she broke!” (as I mentioned above, I have pages of email transactions and NONE of them are rude in any form). I told Elliot that he was acting childish and that it was not acceptable for an employee (OR OWNER) to speak with a customer like this. Elliot went on to say “I’m 61 years old and I’ve been in business for a long time, I can talk to you however I want to”. Finally, at the end of our conversation I said “I am going to hang up because this conversation has not been productive,” to which Elliot replied “Let me save you the trouble,” and abruptly hung up on me. I had a witness sitting next to me who heard the entire conversation and was equally appalled at the way I was treated. Do not recommend at all. The disrespect for his customers is completely unacceptable. These are difficult times for EVERYONE, and we were more than patient with Elliot and Bev and in turn Elliot met us with rudeness, attitude and extreme lack of professionalism. Let me save you your money and a headache, do not book with Expedia CruiseShipCentres.

I do not know how to begin how happy, pleased, satisfied and thankful for the wonderful planning and guidance I received from my most favourite travel agent in the world, Lynn Tremblay. First, I like to thank her personally for patience. From day one, right through till the end. This was my first cruise ever in my life. It was a solo cruise as well. Let alone my first vacation excursion. Lynn truly, is a gem. With her vast knowledge of the travel game, she mentored and provide royal guidance. I was nervous and inexperienced, however, she was able to provide me with so much information, it gave me confidence. I can recall , on dozens of random messages to her asking questions such as, what does this mean, that mean, how do I , when do I, now what, what does that mean again. In minutes I received her response . From her home on her personal time(which I believe most of our interactions where, because of my random questions), she even helped me find my cabin, my transfers, my hotel while I was abroad and she wasn’t even on the boat!!!!! This is a very knowledgeable agent, with a great care for her travellers. So much so, she isn’t my travel agent, I consider her my friend. I owe so much thanks in making my dream vacation come true. I will continue to book many more vacations with Lynn at Expedia, there are no comparisons in my mind. Trust is everything to me. Lynn Tremblay, I thank you so much! You made the greatest impact on my first cruise experience and many more to come!! World class! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We went to Expedia Cruise ship centers on Hazeldean rd, kanata . We spoke with Cheryl and Tom, and they found us a deal, or so we thought. We had never been on a cruise and new absolutely nothing about them, so we trusted the travel agent and Celebrity Cruises . As it turns out they gave us the wrong information, which is what we booked our cruise with. After about a month of research we ask Expedia Cruise ship to confirm the information they gave us.. wow.. now it's different. We were told the the drink package cover $15.00US per drink , now we are being told it only covers $9.00US and it would be an extra $250.00 to get what they told us we were getting in the first place. It even took three days for them to confirm , I guess they knew they screwed up and didn't want to answer. It is not a questions about $15.00 drinks or $9.00 , it is the point that we have been ripped off, and booked a $4000.00 cruise and not getting what we were promised. I am guessing that because we had never been on a cruise before they saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of us. We have complained and they don't care.

This vacation was perfect from beginning to end with memories my family will remember fondly forever. When I first met with Lynn the only thing I knew was that we wanted to go to Alaska! Lynn recommended the Princess cruise line which was a great fit for my family. Lynn offered suggestions such as catching the train from Anchorage to Whittier so you could capture the amazing vistas along the way. Such an incredible way to begin our journey. Lynn was helpful when I reached out for questions and was always available to guide us as it had been over 10 years since our last cruise (and a lot has changed). This was a solid 10/10 for our family. I would highly recommend Lynn at Expedia cruises for all your travel needs. As a matter of fact, we were so happy with the experience that we have booked with Lynn again for our next cruising adventure to Greece, Italy and Spain! Thanks so much again Lynn. Everything was well thought out and executed. we had transportation to and from cruise ports and airports arranged in advance and all our sights were well researched, all the excursions had been reserved for us . Our consultant , Karyn Beggs, was able to negotiate for the best deals . We got regular updates and suggestions during informal meetings and we all have great pictures to prove it.This is our fourth cruise with Karyn's guidance and we have not regretted any part of it.had any regrets.

This is why you use a travel agent. We recently had a cruise booked , with travel insurance, when a close family member became seriously Ill less than a day before we were to leave. One quick call and they took care of everything. All our money due was returned in less than a week they took care of it all. Thanks for making a difficult week that much better.
