At the beginning everything seemed okay, quick communication, maybe because the company was driven by money. Then it started to be weird: they put pressure on us to pay extra money (because we had more items than quoted), otherwise there would be issues in delivering our items in France. It might be understandable, but in writing it seems more like a scam. After this, a real nightmare: we chased Vicky multiple times because they never provided a reply "shortly" for an estimated delivery date. And even on a Friday the estimation was still "end of the week" and the driver would have contacted us. The driver arrived on a Sunday afternoon, WITHOUT ANY ETA, only a text message when they were already close to our property. The driver was alone, when it should have been a 2-man delivery, and we had to "work" for delivering our own stuff. Moreover, some items were covered in bird's poo and the driver insisted many times to deliver a pallet too, which definitely wasn't ours, and so we refused and suggested to call the company. We reported this feedback to Vicky, but also informed twice that we didn't have enough time to check everything. Unfortunately, after a couple of days, we reported a missing item twice, but still no answer from this company. For the price we paid, not the service we expected. Definitely not recommended.

In a nutshell: Move took over 2 months as opposed to the 1-2 weeks promised upfront; numerous of our items were missing incl. a TV, furniture, etc. (amounting to several thousand GBPs in losses); we received stuff from other clients that did not belong to us and notified Express Removals 247 but they didn't care to correct this and find the right recipient; despite packing our things with a lot of care, everything that had the slightest chance of breaking did arrive broken; the driver arrived at our place unannounced, by himself and visibly drunk quite late at night and refused to help us unload anything from his van despite us having paid for that upfront. We've been contacting Express Removals for weeks hoping to find our missing items and/or file an insurance claim, but have stopped receiving any type of response. Avoid at all cost.

This is a TOTAL SCAM. They took our belongings in hostages and asked for 3 times more money. good reviews are fake. We had paid in advance 1,090 pounds. They came to pick up our things 6 hours late. Next morning, they asked for an additional 2K. We asked to come an pick our things, they said it was not possible and delivering back would cost 1000 more. This is HOSTAGE-TAKING. We had no choice but to pay. This is not the end. We were supposed to have 48 hours notice to get our things and Alice did we would have more fees if we were la te at delivery. We just got a “truck will be here in 40 minutes”. The driver was completely drunk and lots of our things were damaged, no news from the company on that !!!!

Driven by money with no thought for the customer. Paid for 5 hours and needed some extra hours due to some issues and had to pay more for less hours the the original qoute! Only paid as they had our belongings on the van and they took advantage of the situation. Keep clear
