Potential Renters FYI & final update: The staff was and I expect remains top notch, without a doubt. The friendliest and most accommodating in the industry. That did not prevent our unit theft. Perhaps the recent five star ratings are actually not incentivized or maybe the security issue is resolved? I don't trust it, as the corporation did nothing despite facilty and regional management effort to assist us. Please look at 1, 2, 3 star ratings before choosing a unit here? Take note of theft and rate increases. Note how corporate gets involved and shuts down the customer? Do NOT choose a unit with "security bars" between units. Ensure YOUR unit doesn't allow visibility to others!! That's all the update I can share. Wishing you a better experience than our own. (Rosedale & other local Extra Space facilities were secure and clean, I recommend them) Reply to Canned Response Below: Call to further discuss? Check your records. We've called and you've contacted us to say that you have zero liability in the criminal activity of your employees. The facility staff were more concerned about our welfare than a corporate representative displayed. The facility staff cooperated with police. Your response below is as empty as your security measures. You're not wasting another moment of our time on the matter. We were robbed and insurance didn't cover it. Period. Consumers should know they rent at this facilty with risk involved. Your company knew little would or could be done by local law enforcement. Hence why so many of us got robbed. Potential Renters: Store at the Rosedale location or with a competitor (as we have done). Not here. 2023 post: We found that moving from one Extra Space facilty to this location was a grave mistake. In the new location, an employee targeted our unit. We were storing some things while moving into a new house. The employee assisted their boyfriend in robbing our unit. Another unit (at this new location) behind ours was rented to the boyfriend or association. They accessed our unit by climbing over through theirs into ours. Those "reinforcement" bars are bendable.... just so you know! After investigation and despite manager's cooperation with police, this company didn't do the honorable thing at all. Was an Extra Space Storage customer for over 20 years, intermittently and in various states. The company didn't do anything to reimburse any loss and that employees involved knew the insurance wouldn't cover theft. Regret ever leaving the Rosedale Unit for convenience. Should've stayed there. We also learned other units were robbed prior and after our unit. Read the other posts..... notice that the high ratings come with warnings of inflated costs too. There are OTHER and more secure facilities in the area (which Extra Space provides) . Use them. Three years later and this company continues to resist culpability.

Update 6/7: I am still impressed by the facility and renting experience. Lee was great. However be aware of price increases without warning! I agreed on the rental at $101/mo. 2 months later, I get a text that my rent increased to $168/mo, and was charged immediately. Thats almost a 70% increase with no warning!! Now I have a storage unit packed full and have to choose between moving all my stuff or continuing to pay the increased price. Talk about rock and a hard place.... Original: I had a great experience renting with Extra Space over the weekend. The assistant manager, Lee was onsite. He was very helpful and accommodating. He took the time to understand my needs and find the best solution. Later in the day when I went to drop stuff off at the new unit, I even saw him sweeping up and moping carts! While shopping around, most prices/facilities were comparable. The main difference was in the personnel.

I initially signed up for a storage on November 20, 2021 w/ Stephanie who was “amazing” in every sense of the word, however there was a mishap with my specific storage unit a couple of days later and once I noticed the situation and brought it to Stephanie’s attention she immediately rectified and resolved the issue. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service I received and the overall appearance and maintenance of this facility. Stephanie is Awesome!!! Well here I am at the finish line and the journey was smooth my unit served it’s purpose and the assistance I received from start to finish was excellent! Everything was handled with a sense of urgency, respect & great care. If I should EVER need another storage unit I know where I’ll be going! What an amazing experience as quality customer service is truly getting harder & harder to come by these days? Thank you Holly for my smooth exit!!!

We really enjoyed our experience with Extra Space! The most notable part of our experience was the exceptional customer service we were treated with by Joel. He was fast, efficient, hospitable, and very attentive to our needs. Being new to the area we did not know where to go, but in hindsight ,we knew that we were in the right place. I also must mention how clean the facility is, how you get to drive your car through the gate inside of the building to access your storage, and the convenient loading carts they have available for use. With their affordable pricing as well, you won’t regret storing your items here.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Used to store a lot of stuff for my graduating TCU student until he moves into apartment. The reservation/contract process was flawless, easy, and quick. On move in date, I was greeted by a very friendly and very knowledgeable staff person-Stephanie- who escorted us to our unit and explained the lock, etc. Stephanie also helped with my reservation so I had the privilege of working with her twice. I could not be more pleased with the service or caliber of the personnel at Ft. Worth Extra Space Storage- Windsor. Highly recommend! TCU parents--this is it!

From the interaction with the national reservation people to the manager of the property, I was treated with respect & courtesy. I was especially impressed with Stephanie, the property manager. She was efficient, explained things thoroughly and took the time to walk me to the units to ascertain which was best for me. Stephanie has excellent customer service skills! Plus the prices were better than most in my area for climate controlled storage. The required insurance seems high but I can pursue that through another outlet. Overall: very impressed.

This is a very nice A/C climate controlled unit brand new looking facility. I've been storing stuff at this location for months now. Even better than the facility is the work personnel! Anytime I run into any problems Stefani Mitchell the store manager has always been able to kindly and swiftly work with me and help take care of the issues for me. She is very friendly, welcoming, and her work ethic is top notch! Would highly recommend and will continue to be a customer due to the top level of service she provides! Thank you!

We’ve had a storage unit for four years at the Windsor location in Fort Worth and have been very pleased with the cleanliness and convenience. Today I went in wanting to figure out how to down size to a smaller unit over the coming months and Jamie was so helpful! She helped me workout a strategy to accomplish my goal and patiently gave me all the options available, including prices for several scenarios. She made what I thought would be complicated very simple. Thank you Jamie!

This place is very clean, and all around just the easiest storage experience i've ever had. It is a fair price, a very convenient location, and helpful staff. It was just as easy to set up an account as it was to close out the account. I left my unit open, swept, and since I happened to have a Swiffer, I went ahead and mopped my unit. Left it as clean as the day I got it! Thank you Extra Space team for the good experience. Next time I need a unit, i'm using Extra Space Storage!

Extra Space on Windsor Place is a wonderful facility. Excellent customer service! Thank you Joel for being so professional and accommodating when I came in to get my unit. The place is so conveniently located, it’s climate controlled and you can drive into an air conditioned bay to access your unit. This is a big plus making it very secure. They even provide carts for moving your belongings. It was also the most affordable option. I’m very impressed. Thank you!

Holly is everything from customer service to being a fantastic rep for this business. She’s personable and friendly. Cares deeply for her job. My experience with her has been nothing short of outstanding in all capacities. I don’t leave reviews often but her service is impeccable. Asia is the best! We've used this storage facility for years. It is clean, well maintained, and the staff is professional, honest, helpful, and friendly. If you decide to rent from these folks ask for Asia. She is helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and follows through. Asia said she'd get some answers for us and call us back. Best ever, she actually called us back with answers! Hope this helps. Rent from them. You won't be sorry you did.

We have had two large units here for over three years. This location is very clean, convenient and accessible. Chris, the manager is always helpful & compassionate. He has been a great problem solver for us and looks out for his customers. I overheard him talking with a customer who had a difficult situation one day and he treated them with dignity and respect and helped them figure out their issue. Always enjoy working with him.

I ended up renting 2 spaces here in between deciding to put my house on the market and moving out of state. The employees here have been wonderful to work with, the spaces were clean and there were always carts available. They’ve improved the security on the building in the past few months as well. I liked that everything was inside — I felt secure going over to grab something or drop off boxes after 8pm. Overall, I recommend.

Several days prior to moving, contact with customer service over the phone was easy, friendly and satisfying! Received a very good quote and couldn’t believe it would be that inexpensive. Day of moving Ashle was a great help. She was friendly, answered all my questions, patient, informative and showed me the unit. I was impressed with the price and space. Thank you!!!

The facilities are clean and well lit, there were always carts available for moving big or heavy things, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Getting started was easy and autopay was efficient and well communicated. Plus, when I moved and had to cancel my locker, that process was also easy and the staff still friendly and helpful!

Extra Space Fort Worth, Windsor is an excellent storage facility. It always clean and the temperature control units are cool, not lukewarm/hot like other storage facilities. They always have carts available. The staff is amazing! They’re courteous, helpful, provide excellent service. This is the best facility in Fort Worth!!!!

Called to find a storage unit for my mother to clear some space in her home. First impressions of this location was amazing. Both Shilo Wright & Stefani Mitchell were outstanding. They understood my need and flexibility. They both ensured that the price work to my mother’s advantage. This is a 5 star establishment for sure.

Beyond pleased with this place! Stephanie was incredibly helpful as we added units, moved units, etc. Clean and well kept and super convenient, especially love the drive in accessibility to avoid the outside elements. They are not the cheapest, but you certainly get what you pay for and very much worth every penny!

My daughter and I had recently rented a space and the space wasn’t the size we needed. Went in and meet with Chris to see what we could do to fixed the issue. Just rented a unit from Stefani today. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. She made everything quick and easy. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but it is close to my house. UPDATE-MY RENT HAS GONE UP $240. Absolutely insane to charge $550 a month for freaking storage.

Extra Space Storage is a very nice and clean facility with a lot of great staff there to help you out. I got Aubrey who was nothing but helpful in my transition of moving. She was nice and helped me through everything by finding me the best deals and answered every question I had with ease.

Raven was on duty when I stopped in to inquire about storage space. She was helping another customer, but immediately acknowledged me and said she would be with me shortly. She helped that customer then helped me. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient and an asset to your company.

The need for excess storage led me to this convenience location off 8th Ave in Fort Worth. The staff was courteous and did a commendable job, from the day I rented a unit to the day I closed it. Highly recommended. Much more professional approach than some of the established competition.

This place is very clean and nice. But it is really hard to find your unit. Maybe it is that way with all of them, I don't know. I just wish there was some kind of signage. Also, supposedly, it is climate controlled, but boy, was it hot today!
