I really didn't want to have to change storage facilities but the one I normally use was completely full so I came to Extra Space Storage on 7th street. I am SO glad I made the change! Its immaculately clean, cool inside, and climate controlled all year. It has great accessibility and the hours are way better than my old place! I also loved that I was able to set up automatic monthly payments...one less worry. Very good move...I'm very happy! UPDATE: I have to retract my original good review. I got a notice that they were raising my rent by almost $100!! This was the *2nd* raise in my rent in less than 3 months! That put my monthly cost at OVER what they would charge as a standard rate for that same unit! **Read the reviews and the BBB complaints**and NOT the ones that are handpicked on their website. Those are DECEPTIVE. They have lawsuits for BAIT & SWITCH dealings and more complaints than I've ever seen with a company! Like a lot of people, I'm in a different state now so will have to pay for plane tickets and motels along with movers again to change facilities. **You will not be treated differently than we all have been. The wonderful people physically at the facilities have no control over this so don't be fooled about what you are setting yourself up for if you choose this company.

This place is the best storage facility on the planet! It's super clean and looks fantastic! On site Sue took care of getting me into my unit, I had reserved a smaller one with their call center but when I looked at the unit in person it was too small and she switched me over really easily with no additional cost for the first month. When you're loading or unloading you can pull a gigantic U-Haul into an enclosed garage type looking structure that is climate controlled so when you're unloading and loading you are inside, which in Arizona is absolutely fantastic, they have plenty of carts available for use and the place is easy to navigate around. That very same night I lost my keys, all three of them, and the next day when I called the facility, the manager Troy took excellent care of me and practically saved my life because I needed to get into that unit, thank you Troy for going above and beyond because it made all the difference in this miserable move I'm going through. In the last month, my life changed over a weekend. Job outsourced, relationship dissolved, and living arrangement went with it. The three major areas. I was instructed to call for storage and get life balanced once again. I spoke with a gentleman who patiently walked through the simple online reservation, Thank my lucky stars. What impressed me most was when calling the facility, Christopher answered the phone, we spoke of what I needed- he is customer service and solution oriented. The call lasted maybe three minutes, I felt my concerns we heard and met immediately. Thank you for excelling customer service, that is truly a lost art these days. I appreciate this very much!

I I've been a customer of yours at other facilities over the years. In general my experience there has been good, However At this location, I thought the arrangement of Keying in your passcode is awkward,, compared to other Facilities. In particular the exit, Where the keypad is located . What I found alarming is the fact that when the lights time out and you're Inside your storage locker with boxes on the floor in your way Can be a big hazard. I mean when the lights go out and you need to move out of your storage space, to the halways to make them come back on it's dark and you could trip over a Box and hurt yourself. That is my biggest complaint. That's all

I have recently obtained a storage unit from my local Extra Space Storage and I am very impressed! The space both in the unit and surrounding the unit is immaculate. Everything was extremely easy to set up and when I arrived I was greeted by Chris H*** not only a true professional but a genuine down-to-earth dude that did not treat me like unit 1225, but as an actual human being. I have used many other storage companies before and I am most pleased with the services and products of Extra Space Storage. Seriously, if I could give 100 stars I would without hesitation.

I went in to extra space storage on 7th Street to look at units and pricing and the people in the office were fantastic. As I spoke with Victoria, I quickly learned that she was extremely knowledgeable. Was able to answer all my questions that I had about the facility and really listened to what I was looking for and gave great recommendations on the size of unit that I really need compared to the ones that I thought I needed. I definitely am going to recommend extra space storage to anyone looking in that area.

I was happy with choosing Extra Space Storage for the 5th time until I was advised this time I won't get any prorated refund. My due date was the July 18th and I was able to move out today the 22nd. I only rented 5 days. If I would have known of the change I would have moved earlier. $81 dollars is a bit much for 5 days...and now they are raising the storage rate. You have been warned: If it is within a couple days of being charged and you only need a couple days of storage move out to avoid a full month charge.

I needed a 10 by 20 foot storage locker for a few months before a long distance move. I chose Extra Space Storage at 6316 N. 7th Street in Phoenix and I could not be happier with the staff and facilities. Everything is clean and well maintained, and I always feel safe even after office hours. My few encounters with Chris and the other people who work there have been courteous and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place to people who need long or short term storage.

Chris is so kind and helpful! I called to make my reservation and he quickly set a unit aside and confirmed the reservation details. When I arrived to store/move my items, he set up my account in a flash and promptly showed me to my unit. I greatly appreciate the time he took to make sure I knew where I was going and that the until would fit my storage needs. The site feels secure, safe, and well maintained. I’m glad I could find storage so close to home at a great price!

I've used this facility for over a year and have been immensely pleased with my experience. The renting process was quick and easy, the unit was clean and secure, and the air conditioning was an absolute godsend during the summer months. The guy at the front desk is really pleasant and helpful and had a warm smile. Perhaps this facility is a touch more expensive than some of its competitors, but the value is absolutely there. 10/10

I have never used a storage service before. This experience has gotten me hooked. It #1, felt safe. It was cool ,clean and comfortable with ample room but best of all, were the employees. The girl, (I forgot her name) was very nice to me and Chris was a sweetheart above and beyond even when he was eating his lunch and I interrupted him. You have 2 really nice employees. I hope they get a raise. They deserve one.Sincerely

I have rented at this location for a couple years. Chris Hill always makes everyone feel welcome. He’s very attentive to the customer and listens to everyone. With so many being forced into transition, he makes the process a pleasant one. He’s definitely the personality type I’d like running my business. Extra storage space provides security above and beyond other storage facilities they provide large carts for you to move tons of different items at one time and there are plenty of available and overall they have restrooms available which I haven't seen at storage spaces lately the prices were good and I would recommend this extra storage space for short-term or long-term storage and it's air conditioned.

Chris was so wonderful to work with and very accommodating in finding a unit that will best suit our needs. He was so thorough and took the time to walk me through the various units, showing me the locks worked, and my code worked before I left. The building was incredibly clean and I noticed there were several handcarts available for use when loading things in and out. Definitely a great experience!

Amazing experience! So clean you could eat off the floor! Automatic doors at drive through inside air conditioned loading station!! Elevators and state of the art locks security cameras I’m soo impressed!!!! I’ve always only used extra space storage but this particular location is brand new boasts a wine storage cellar?! Chris was great. He showed me around when I was first looking to see what size unit I would need. He was knowledgeable and helped me find what I need. When moving everything into the unit, he assisted me by looking a few places they store carts and finding me one. I was all moved into my unit within 15 minutes from purchasing a storage space.

The extra space storage building was really helpful as we needed to put stuff from one apartment to the other and we did not have the room. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and very courteous. Although we do not need it right now, we probably will be using it again in the future should the need arise.

We had a great experience with Extra Space on 7th St and Maryland. Amenities are great and the facility is very well maintained. We recently moved into a new house, so the storage unit was no longer needed. But if we are ever in need of storage again, this will be the place we pick.

When I arrived, I observed that not only was there ample parking, but it had enough space to turn around safely in a UHaul. The staff was very friendly, very polite, they explained everything clearly, and treated me very well. Very professional staff, but still approachable to talk.

Easy and convenient to rent a unit at this store. Employees are efficient and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The fact that you can park your car inside to load and unload is a huge plus here in Phoenix where the heat is usually above the norm. I highly recommend this store.

Bait and switch is 100% true. Place is nice but the website says one price, which you will get for 2 months, then will jack up the price by 50% for no reason. Also the pin pads to get in/out are placed in such a way that its an absolute pain to use.

The best part about this storage is that you can pull your vehicle inside to unload it and take it to your storage locker. That's important when it's 110 degrees outside. They also provide carts to help with the items you need to put in your locker

I was able to look at pricing, sign my lease and get access to my unit all in the same day. The location mager and associates were friendly and helpful. The units are immaculately clean and easy to access.

Reasonable prices for climate controlled storage. 24 hour availability with door code. My only gripe?...the motion activated lights go off if you're spending more than a few minutes at your storage space.
