DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB! I would give this club 0 stars if I could… I went to this club with my friends yesterday and in ONE night more than a dozen people lost their phones, including myself, due to on-going pickpocket incidents that happen in this club. The management, bouncers, and security were all highly disrespectful and did absolutely NOTHING to address the issue. When the complaints of phone theft started becoming more of an issue for them throughout the night leading up to closing, they constantly threatened those who were affected to either get back on the dance floor or be permanently kicked out… the management was well within their rights to check every person leaving the club for stolen items, especially since they pat you down before you enter the club itself. But instead they focused more on telling the security and bouncers to threaten and yell at everyone who lost personal belongings that night. I was even yelled at by security for simply entering the men’s bathroom. The manager made the issue seem like a laughing matter, which just goes to show how often this type of incident occurs in their club without consequence. The club itself is packed and not in a good way. Due to it being one of the only clubs in the Gaslamp Quarter to accept young adults from the age of 18+. There is NO room to do anything and nothing to do besides being shoved around, pickpocketed, and having something stolen from you due to how close individuals are to each other. If you are planning on clubbing soon, DO NOT go F6ix. It’s not worth your time or money and everyone who works at that club will treat you like garbage… you’ll just end up having to deal with a bigger problem after the fact if you decide to go this club...

Had the rudest encounter with one of the employees. I was trying to help a girl who was sick. She threw up in the toilet and then made her way to wash her hands. she couldn’t walk straight and I needed help. The employee came in and immediately started yelling at us. I told her respectfully that I was just trying to help her however she wouldn’t listen and just kept yelling we needed to leave. She then brought four bouncers in all who were very aggressive and didn’t try to help this woman at all. I asked one of them if I could just make sure she was okay enough to be able to walk up the two flights of stairs and one of the bouncers was kind enough to help me get her to the stall again. Then he escorted us both out. Will never go to a place like this again :) I genuinely hope you guys find better staff!

Never again They I called early in the morning to make a reservation for 4 people. I spoke to Jessica and informed her that my girl is 20 years old. She said yeah we are okay they can let us in as long as she doesn’t drink we were ok with it Over the phone the I was told it’s going to be 300 for a table (amazing) I get the the they said it’s 400 still good not bad Where are the bottle? I walked to the bathroom I came out. I see the manager fighting with my girl and tell her to leave the place. No, the security is kicking everybody out for no reason we haven’t even got the bottle I’m asking they manger in there to reimburse us the money back he wait untill the bouncer open so they won’t give us anything Long store short I’m asking for ID back so we can leave but the security wants to fight with me So I basically paid $600 just to use the bathroom

My daughter lost her phone here...it was in one location for days. .as soon as I emailed f6 to notify them that she lost it I got no reply...but a couple hours later the phone moved from its location and was powered down. Scandalous. Judging from the other reviews I'm going to file a police report and report the phone stolen. It was a Sunday when the phone moved so it shouldn't be too hard to find out who took it. Sooo after my review I got a email...finally...saying they have the phone. When we got it back it was locked because whoever had it was attempting to Crack the code. I guess since they couldn't they figured they'd return it. I'm glad she got it back but now she has a whole new phone . They're still trifling in my book. And my daughter and her friends no longer party there

i will not recommend this place to anyone. Reasons are: Last year my friend had three VIP tables and he put my name on the list, once i got to the door ad told them my name the bouncer claimed that they VIP tables were full. The next day after confronting my friend he claimed the VIP tables were never full. Another night my fiends wanted to go here and we put our name on the guest list, we got to the bouncer he confirms it, we get downstair and the lady in the booth ask us to pay $10 to get in, we told her we was on the guest list she told us that we was not. After we confront the bouncer in the front he lies to us and to his super by claiming he never told us we was in the guest list. Every time i come to this establishment there is always drama.

my phone was stolen as well as my id, and credit card. many other peoples stuff was also taken. reading the reviews it sounds so sketchy because the “security” who are supposed to help, told me to wait until everyone left and i was able to go in and look on the floor. but the second they closed they didn’t let me go in and completely lied to my face. my phone was tracked about a block down before i shut everything off and locked my phone. i have tried to call the club many times and they never answer. i will be filing a police report and getting to the bottom of this because it all sounds like organized theft is going on in this club between all the workers.

Stopped by this venue after being approached by a Promoter offering a free shot and no cover, my friends and I decided to check it out. We didn't wait in line, which was a plus. As soon as we entered, we realized it was an 18 and up but the bar area was separated the music was great totally set the mood for the night. They were playing hip hop and a bit of r&b. I got to meet Dascity, who is one of the managers he was very attentive and offered a bottle of champagne for my girls and I. We had an amazing night and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking to enjoy some hip-hop.

Such a wonderful experience. During our weekend escape in San Diego, two girlfriends and I, being hip hop fans, asked where the best hip hip club would be? This was the only suggestion. We show up and the line is SO long and crazy. We approach one of the promo guys, Todd, who appreciated us being out-of-town and so kindly helped us get in faster. He was incredible, such a nice, sweet guy that supported us having a good time. Best promotor I have ever interacted with. Anyway, simply put, this place is incredible. If you are ever in San Diego, love hip-hop, and a good environment check it out! :)

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came for my 21st birthday and it was 10 minutes before I turned 21 in California so one bouncer let me and my friends in just for 2 minutes later the other bouncer snitched on us and kicked us out as if we were going to cry. Just to preface we are a beautiful group of women. First of all, it was EMPTY and the music was wack. Then after kicking us out the next day they want to be texting me and my friends to come back for free and for free tables trying to get w us EMBARRASSING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOLEN ITEMS genuinely a terrible place, my friend’s phone got stolen and many many others reported that their phones and other items were stolen in the same night. “security” did absolutely nothing and just told patrons to wait until the club closes to search for the missing items. while a whole crowd of people waited in the front of the club for their items, we gave up and bumped into security taking the back exit to avoid the people waiting in the front. would never risk going here again. was practically begging for help all night and nothing happened at all.

So this place seemed like it was lit inside due to the fact that I could hear the music and all the fun people were having while I was waiting in line but I did not make it inside to really experience it! Wednesday night got in a very short line at 1 am, waited for 30 minutes, bouncers let us through and then the girl at the door gave a nasty attitude and told my friend and I that there is a $15 cover when they are going to close in less than an hour (kind of a rip off). So I did not make it inside, plan to next time, maybe I will have a better experience!

Go here only if you want your phone, ID, or credit card stolen. Terrible experience. My friend got her phone stolen and the security refused to do anything about it, they just told us to wait until the club closed so they could look. There were a line of people around us who also had their belongings stolen, and the club couldn’t care less. After the venue closed, we waited outside for an hour after they told us they would look for us and tell us if they found anyone’s lost stuff, but they then locked the doors and never came out.

My daughters phone was stolen at this establishment last night and apparently 15-20 other phones were also stolen. According to the reviews it sounds like pickpockets and a possible inside job based on the experience my daughter had with security and staff as well as what other club goers described. Location shows the phone was still in the club and according to the reviews this is an on going thing at F6ix. Hopefully F6ix can make things right. I have emailed F6ix but have not heard back. I will be filing a police report.

We got there at 1am and they let me and my friend in and had us purchase our tickets knowing there was no one else inside. They didn’t even tell us that they were closing early and we were going to be the only ones in there. We were inside taking pictures for about 5 minutes and then they kicked us out and told us they were closed (this was around 1:12). The fact that they let us buy tickets and had us go in for nothing… this was a scam. Honestly such a waste of money.

The bartender was to rude. I asked for a regular margarita. He put sprite in it. When I told him to make it correctly, he told me he did not know how to make one. I told he the ingredients and he argued with me. Sweet and sour, tequila, triple sec and salt rim... He then refused to make it. He put tequila and club soda in a glass and said that was a margarita, then told me to go to another bartender because he refused to serve me again! I will never return here again!

Can confirm that this place has an organized crime scene when it comes to stolen phones and the “security” are apart of it and also who’s still going to this place in 2023? It’s super dead and always boring and the place is so small and cramped it drives you insane there’s so many other places in San Diego not just f6ix you’re better off staying at home like I said I don’t even know how this place is still open

Overpriced as heck. Drinks (even shots) cost at least $30 each. That’s on top of $20 for entry. Not many people at all here; was super empty/dead imo. Felt like the staff was staring at / monitoring everyone too much the whole time because the staff to customer ratio was so small. Didn’t like the feeling of being watched constantly. The music was good but not as enjoyable with the lack of crowd, nosy staff and overpriced drinks.

Went out for my girlfriends birthday with a bunch of our friends and I sat down for a few moments to catch my breath and security came up to me and forcefully grabbed my arm and kicked me out for sleeping and being “too drunk”. I tried talking to the manager with a friend of mine but he was on a power trip just like all of the other bouncers and refused to listen, he then threatened to call the police on us and then walked away.

This place felt like where all the high school kids come to hang out on the weekend. I think it was pretty lame. Dance floor was a joke and way to small. As far as music let's just say I'd be a better dj without having any experience. And since when do you need to hand out a dollar to get a bartender attention so I can order a drink and then retip for the same drink . This place thumbs down spend your money elsewhere.

I love it everytime I go! Thanks to Drei I always get in FOR FREE,when I do the guest pass, I recommend getting there @9 to ensure your free entry. Promoters can not do anything if your late and not in line! Overall it’sbeen a year and I always get the best service and can go to any of the workers there if anything happens! Go to f6ix to have a good time !

We arrived at the club at 925 with rsvp tickets only to be told that we had to wait in line untill 10:04 when our rsvps where no longer valid and we didnt get the free entry that we where told we would get. They only let in groups ever 2-4 minutes and only accept cash. Tickets are 20 dollars. It was absolutely ridiculous and a scam. As soon as it hit 10 the line started moving faster. We won't be going here agian.

This place is the worst the service sucks and the people are rude I came in on a Thursday and At 830pm and the doors are supposed to be free before 10pm and I was here over a hour and a half early and they let 3 people every 30 mins so that they can still charge people over 20 dollars I HIGHLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO COME HERE ITS RATCHET AND THE STAFFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE NEGItive 5STARRSS

This place charged us 20dolars to get into the club and told us we can come and go as we please. When we went in the music wasn't great so we left for a bit. When we came back there was a guy that told us we can't come back in because they close in 20 mins. But we had a wristband that says we were allowed to be there until 2AM so he had no right to say we can't go in even if we didn't order a drink

Everything about this place was weird. Girl on the street told us we had to go there and dragged us in (I think they work for the place?), we paid almost 100$ for entrance and 2 tiny drinks, not sure if the girls making out with the guys inside the club are payed and working there too? Anyways, bad experience, felt like a rip off and music was bad too.

Good thing i was paying attention because he tried to take it to the back of the club where i wasnt authorized to go to steal it. If you want to get robbed like the 6 people on Friday night 24 feb 2023 then this is the spot for you. There are legit pocket pickers stealing cells and wallets. I spoke to the bouncer and i guess this is a trend here cus it has been happening for a while. Dont bother speaking to Mgt cus as long as money keeps coming in noone is going to look into this for you.

Never in a million years would I think I’ll have to run for my life because of your poor staff ! Somebody was able to bring a gun into your place of business. Horrible night club, they said my card was delcined when i bought a table. Paid them in cash, little did i know my card was not declined it went through! Spent 1200$ on an underated experience. Once again, what a surprise another club filled with stuck up women. I really dont understand why they come out the house and act like that but oh well.

Always a good time visiting the 6ix! From the promotion (Drei), the doorman (Brandon), and even to the staff and general manager (Sammy), I feel welcomed and experience fun times at this club. Music is hip-hop (my favorite) and atmosphere is electric. 5 stars!

Worst establishment I have ever been to! The staff are extremely rude, especially the staff that brings the alcohol to the tables, I was literally shoved aside and spilled my cocktail that I spent $15 for. The bathrooms were also disgusting and each sink had a note attached to the mirror that stated "tip first before using" so unprofessional!

The atmosphere was amazing! The employees were super fun and made me feel very welcome. The music was very good and overall the club was such a vibe! We got in for free and Jordan was very welcome and hooked me and my homies up with a free table. Would definitely go again!

From Dallas TX, looking for a nice club to go in California on Saturday.... After seeing the reviews,I was discouraged. Still went to see myself but surprisingly, I was extremely satisfied with the club. The securities, bartenders,dj, and people were cool.Also, clean environment....will be back soon

The bouncer literally right now tells me I can't go in because I got shorts on but the guy in front of me goes right in just because he knows they guys at the front. He tells me "you ain't him, life sucks sometimes " what kind of business are they running here. Don't waste your time at this place

F6ix is ALWAYS trash. A “regular” disrespected my friend & I on her last day in San Diego by swinging on us on our way out of the club and the general manager asked us what happened and didn’t believe us because she was a “regular”. EXTREMELY unprofessional and immature of the whole staff.

Too darn crowded!! Stood in line for an hour. Ladies, wear your hair up, or you'll sweat it out! DJ was decent, but no room to dance. I didn't like the strip competition either with all these drooling, grabby guys standing around. $20 to get in, drinks are ridiculously expensive and weak.

Hip hop music was good, not great. Cheesy/cheap decor. Bartenders were attentive but drinks were overpriced. To small of an area with standing room only. Cover charge was too expensive for what the "club" was. Club is 8 years old but just looks old and cheap. Too bad.

Honestly it was by far the worst night club that I have ever been to. I can only compare it to being at a middle school party with somebody playing their ipod on a pocket speaker. Defenitely will not recommend it to anybody... like ever not even to those who I hate.

Great night club, common among minorities downtown, a mixed age crowd, can get crowded, smaller than AD nightclub, but music is nice and more rap hip hop dance music...

Lost my keys here they were not really of help trying to help me locate them and the bathrooms are dirty but they played good music if that's what you're looking for

Great atmosphere, good mixture of ethnicities, half naked bartenders, and $1000 for a bottle of vodka on ice with a sparkler delivered to you by a stripper.

I go to F6ix on a very regular basis, I love the environment and I love the music, all of the staff is very friendly and they do their job very well.
