Working with David and Andres at Chase Factor has completely transformed and enhanced my riding! I have been riding less than a year and set an overly ambitious goal of completing the Six Gap event that is 104 miles with 6 mountain climbs totaling nearly 12,000 vertical feet of climbing in a single day. Coach David has had me on a program for the past 3 months focused on getting me ready for this event while training in the flatlands of Florida. Every few days a get a series of specific rides downloaded to my Garmin so that I just hop on my bike, fire up my Garmin and my ride for the day Is custom programmed for me, segment by segment. I have seen a marked improvement in my power and fitness level under Coach David’s skilled guidance! Earlier this week I went to the Chase Factor lab and Andres did a custom bike fitting for me. The process was really thorough and he was fabulous! He made some very significant changes. My seat height was raised by almost 2 inches, he put on a shorter stem and narrower handlebars. He also made adjustments to my cleats. Today I had a 4 hour training ride which gave me my first opportunity to really test all the adjustments Andres made to my bike and cleats. The combination of science and art that Andres applied to the process really worked! I put in just over 60 miles and got off my bike feeling better than I ever have. I had virtually no post-ride soreness or fatigue. I was able to achieve a much better pedal stroke and generate at least 20 more watts of power at the same level of effort.

What a great experience I had with FACTOR. Andrés, is supper professional and easy to work with. He met me there promptly and was very helpful with my bike. He also has a sense of humor so the fit didn't felt awkward, with silence and dull conversation. He took very good care of my bike while placing it in the trainer and doing all the adjustments. After my initial fit we discovered that I needed a new saddle, and different size steam and handlebars. He again met me another day to my convenience and made all sizing and fit again. To say that this was amazing experience all the way around is an understatement. I would give him six starts out of five if I could. Highly recommended and will definitely be using him again in the future for all my bike fit needs...

I am a kind of person that like to learn about everything, after many videos and some basic tools I did my bike fitting, actually i spend hours in a few weeks and I never felt connected to my bike. I call Andres and make a appointment, this guy is pure knowledge and experience, he did some little changes on my bike and Pam… it’s incredible how 5 millimeters change everything and is no in your mind, if you use power meter you will see your improvements. I hope my experience can help somebody, if you like ride your bike you will need a professional fitting with professional tools and a professional like Andres for do it right. A friend recommended that I go to Andres at Factor for a pre-fit before purchasing a new bike. I am glad I listened to him. Andres used a state of the art fitting system in his lab to determine the best size bike for me. After a roughly two hour session I was not only leaving with the confidence that I would be ordering the right size bike but he dialed in my current bike too. What a bonus that was. A couple of weeks later I brought my new bike to his lab where he applied all the measurements to it and performed one final evaluation. After wasting countless hours adjusting and tweaking myself on my TT bike I had finally had enough. I was dealing with saddle pain, knee pain, really bad back pain and nothing I seemed to do would fix it. I called Chase Factor and after 30 minutes in the shop we had adjusted the height of the seat, the height of the handle bars, the angle of my tt bars and the angle of my seat. NO MORE PAIN. It was almost instant. The next day I went out and rode 40 miles pain free. I know my butt will eventually adjust to the new seat but aside from that it’s perfect. I have been super satisfied with the coaching services provided by David. My training plan is tailored to my schedule and needs, and he is always available for changes and modifications whenever life gets in the way of training! I am very happy with the gains in fitness I have seen, and I am impressed with the amount fo time and effort that he puts into coaching me on and off the bike. As an athlete who struggles at times with the mental aspect of training and racing, he has been great at pushing me beyond my comfort zone. I highly recommend him a a coach.

I had previously been fit by someone else and over time wanted to be more comfortable on my current setup if I could. Andres saw me on very short notice and adjusted my position quickly and precisely. The program they use has instant gratification and you can see what is changing with each tweak. David has been coaching me (for distance running) for just over a year. The coaching I receive is incredibly personalized and is prescribed based on the goals we discussed together and the time I can commit to my training. Did my fit with Andreas. He got my numbers to be pretty close to perfect on my first fit, but I had to swap out sizes on my handlebars, stem and seat post (setback). He met with me a second time, included in the original fit pricing, and completed the fit. The numbers on the computer after the second fitting were perfect and I felt great on my first ride after the fit. Instantaneous improvement. I can’t say enough about working with Andreas for a fit.

Andres is a master in his craft. The knowledge and professionalism he brings to the table is outstanding. Andres helped me get dialed in to a perfect feeling on the bike. Great fitters. I was able to tell that Andres was an expert at fitting and not just relying on the fitting tool. My bike is perfectly fitted to me. I also brought in my second bike to get it adjusted and it was all taken care of. They even offered for me to bring back my bike if any I feel that the bike needs any other adjustments after riding it. I highly recommend them as a bike fitting service over the others in Tampa.

Andres takes a very scientific approach to bike fitting. A few changes in saddle hight and a different handle bar took care of my back pains during rides. He also set me up with a new saddle that took care of my riding discomfort. Best of all I got to test the saddle for 2 weeks before making the investment. Follow up by Andres is also great!
