Unfortunately terrible customer service. I went here as I had heard good things but even though we had an appointment we were really rushed and I didn't feel like we were given due attention. The only criterion for shoes that I asked for that "they need to last". It felt like the member of staff reached for the first available pair of shoes but I bought them, trusting their reputation. After 3 months, the fronts of the expensive trainers had completely disintegrated. It was difficult to get hold of the manager, who eventually, after quite a lot of chasing, responded to explain that the shoes had worn out by coming into contact with a hard surface (which in this case was walking). The manager wouldn't follow up with the brand for a refund on my behalf and offered nothing by way of compensation for poor customer service in his store. In future, I will buy direct from the brand so that in case of complaint, I can take the issue forward which is so disappointing as it would be great to be able to support a local business.

First of all they fitted my youngest with a pair of shoes that were too big - and therefore she never wore them because she thought they were uncomfortable. Next time I went, they put one shoe on my eldest that was her size and, mistakenly, gave her the other one in two sizes bigger. I questioned the fitting as it looked massive. And the fitter gave me a whole speech about how it should fit like that. It was only when she went for a walk and I said that one looked bigger that they checked again and told me that, yes, they had got the wrong size in that one shoe. I don’t mind anyone making a mistake. But talking down to me trying to tell me it fits when anyone could see it was massive and then having to backtrack when they noticed it was two sizes bigger made me realise that they tell you anything to sell a pair of shoes. In other shoe shops in the area I have had the opposite experience - they are honest when the children don’t need shoes. I won’t be coming here again.

Got into the shop with two kids, in 2 mins I realised I haven't paid for my parking. Told the lady, that I'll be back in 2 mins. When I came back, it was sigh that it was only by appointments and the door was closed. She let us in, but she created the atmosphere that we were unwanted...I was holding a shoe to show her what we would like to try on, she commanded me to put it back. Told my kids to move to a different place, as we were sitting " too close" a customer with an appointment. Very disappointed with this experience today. I've been there a few times and never heard about an appointment. Different ladies were much nicer.

Dropped in with my two toddlers. Lovely shop with a great range of styles and quality brands. My girls were very happy to sit and have their feet measured and chatted away happily as they tried on their gorgeous shoes. Really great service and genuine advice and guidance on the best choices for my little ones. We will definitely return for our summer sandals when the weather gets better :) A post-lockdown shopping experience that will be hard to beat!

Absolutely love this shop. They always have stylish ranges of shoes for kids (not always easy to find) and offer a very personalised service. The staff have always been very knowledgeable on measuring my kids feet and have often offered great advice on the types of shoes they should be wearing depending on their age but also their physical ability. It’s also great to be able to support a local independent family run business. Would highly recommend!

They have “appointment based service” which does not make any sense for such a tiny shop (unlike Clarks). I begged them twice to let me make a really fast purchase (there was 100% no way for me to arrange this in advance) - and they refused. Hope my son does not get his feet soaked tomorrow at school after having runny nose. Just why?

Dropped in here before lockdown 2.0. It was my first time and I received the most excellent customer service!! We walked out with two pairs of shoes that my son is super excited about. Decent selection and incredible knowledge. I never felt rushed or hurried and we were allowed to take our time to find the perfect shoes.

Excellent service - the sales lady helping us had a lot of patience measuring and fitting shoes for both of my kids, the store itself is friendly and colourful and there's a box of toys to keep the kids busy while they're waiting. The selection isn't huge, but I was able to find what I needed.

A nice family shop. The lady helped us with a lot of patience and we found the shoes I needed, good looking, comfortable and in the right size. Have visited the place more than a couple of times and sometimes they are too much understanding with some people and their little angels.

Went for a first fitting with my little one today and had the most amazing experience in store. Vanessa was very knowledgeable, patient and super friendly. My little one walked out with super stylish and comfortable pair of shoes. Will definitely return for further fittings!

Great customer service in this shoe shop. We came here to purchase the kid's shoes and the guy there was very helpful in explaining things to us. Needless to say we walked out with a pair of shoes which fits our daughter perfectly.

Great store with a fantastic range of shoes for young children. Service is a bit dependent on who you get (you have to book). Would get 5 stars if you could choose who your appointment is with when booking.

Just note. This place doesn't offer refunds. My daughter's shoes didn't fit her and now am stuck with a credit note. There is nothing that will fit her and now I can't do anything with this note.

Very friendly and knowledgeable about how babies start walking and how their feet develop. They measure feet and give advice on the best shoes (or no shoes if the baby isn’t walking yet).

Great family owned independent children's shoe shop. Owner, Mark, was really helpful asking lots of questions about what I needed when picking out shoes as a gift. Highly recommended.
