I contacted Falcon a number of weeks before I needed them. It was quite up in the air whether my piano was able to go to my parents, due to my mum being indecisive. But these guys totally understood my predicament & we're extremely patient with giving me lots of dates to choose from. When it came to the day before the piano was due to be moved, I asked them also if they would be able to move a precious music cabinet which was made by my grandad.they said yes not a problem. Everything was well wrapped and protected. I just could not fault these guys. Nothing was too much trouble. They even had time to tune my piano once it had been moved. Their quote was reasonable and on price with the option of paying a deposit and the full amount after successful delivery. Their collection was on time and executed professionally with no issues getting over a one step threshold. The two guys moving were friendly and reassuring and clearly knew what they were doing as they moved the piano with ease! Ed and his colleague are polite, helpful, and provided a full knowledgable and experienced service when carefully moving my piano today from one house to another. They even took great care to place floor matts down when moving over the grass area to avoid mud in your home. They were punctual and provide a very competitive price. Falcon direct piano movers were great! They were friendly and cheerful. Easy to book and schedule removal that suited you. Piano collection, my house was difficult to move an upright piano out of the front door as it was at a certain angle the entrance. However, they clearly know how to move the piano professionally with all the equipment prepared without scratching and damaging it. It was soon out the door. Delivered the piano to my family member and they were also happy with their service when they moved it into their home. We recently used Falcon direct piano movers to move an upright piano to our home address in Holmfirth. It was not a particularly easy move because of the stairs that had to be negotiated. The two men arrived on time and were very professional throughout. Taking great care of the piano and working very well together, explaining clearly what they needed to do. They arrived at the delivery address on time and worked very hard to get the piano into our house safely; even staying on to give the piano a brief tune. I would be very happy to recommend them to others especially as their fees were reasonable in my view, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Fantastic and very responsive service. I contacted Falcon to discuss the transport of my piano into temporary storage and then onward travel. Ed was brilliant. He carefully talked me through what was involved and had full knowledge of my piano being able to describe is without even seeing it. Ed knew I was on a tight timescale and accommodated this by ringing in advance of the agreed move date to offer an earlier date. Excellent work by Ed and the team moving my old baby grand out of someone's cellar, up a spiral staircase, and then into my house (which was slightly less tricky but still not all on one level). They encountered a few obstacles we didn't plan for and the additional cost for these was more than reasonable. My piano isn't worth much but they still treated it with the utmost care and treated my house the same when they were moving about. I should also add that they were very competetive on price and the surcharge for me requesting a rush job was also very fair. I won't hesitate to use them again if/when I need to do another move. Ed and Raymond did a fantastic job of moving my mum's piano from their bungalow to my house. My parents couldn't praise them highly enough for their excellent service and their very friendly manner. Having 3 steps into our house and a sharp angle to the room in question meant that the piano has to be tipped on its side. I was a little worried about moving my piano, as I am disabled, having MS, Multiple Sclerosis, so I cannot move furniture. I need not have worried as everything was done efficiently and expertly. I can no longer play the piano, so when my consultant said he.needed.a piano.for his ittle daughter, I said he could have mine. My piano was protected and moved with no problems. Afterwards my furniture was put exactly where I requested and electric cables were sorted and reconnected . We were passing on our old Bechstein upright piano to friends who had arranged for Falcon to collect it for them. We did not know what to expect really as it seemed so heavy and we could hardly move it even to clean behind. When they arrived they made it look very easy - they took great care and treated the piano with respect and 15 minutes later it was on the van and away. They came when they said they would, were very nice people to deal with and knew what they were doing. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Fantastic experience with these guys collecting and delivering an upright piano for me. They treated the property with care ensuring that no damage was done to doors or walls and somehow managed to manoeuvre the piano through some very tight doors! We needed our old upright piano removing urgently. A call to Falcon direct solved our dilemma by collecting next day. Ed and Ray were punctual despite the property not being easy to find and duly set about the task with courtesy and humour. The piano removal was challenging but through no little skill, ingenuity and technique the piano was moved. Ed and his colleague delivered my new baby grand piano on 15th August. They were very professional and efficient and took great care in every movement from the van into the house as we have a drive with quite a steep slope. They took their time and ensured the right route down the drive and in the positioning of the piano in the house. They also explained how to care for the piano. I thoroughly recommend them. All in all they did a wonderful job. I give them 5 stars and lots of brownie points.

Very professional, really impressed with the service. Not a straightforward move of a piano, as there was a very tight bend entering our house. Lots of padding , to protect decorations, doors, etc, and boards used to level out uneven flooring. I would thoroughly recommend this firm. Very polite, experienced and competent. Very prompt with replying to queries and giving a quote. Arrived bang on time, very attentive to requests and questions, and had all the gear needed to swap two pianos between two houses. I had an urgent need for my very heavy piano to be moved within our house. Ed managed to book this for the following morning, which was such a relief. Communications with Ed were top quality at all points. The job was done very quickly and efficiently in a pleasant manner and even with some humour thrown in!
