Im totally not happy with service I received from Dr Gordan at LaLucia Mallldental surgery.. I cleaned my teeth with her and I went back a week later for taking measurements for a 'dental plate', I then told her I'm very stressed that my teeth were so painful after my last cleaning and she said it should be over within few days. I went back again a week later after they called me to collect my 'dental plate', one of her assistants just gave me a pink box (not even sure if that was mine as it had no name on it) and said this is your plate. I wasn't even offered a chance to try it on to see if it's fits my gums! I then insisted to have these put on so I can see how they fit me. After I put them on I told the Assistant that I had asked Dr Gordan for bottom plate but they supplied top plate!. Assistant couldn't do anything because Dr Gordan wasn't in surgery to check the fitting of my new plate and told me to come back a week later!I then came back again few days later as the plate was hurting my gums and explained to Dr Gordan that I'm in pain with the plate she had supplied me and she ' brushed it off' and said that can't be and told me to try plate again for another week! She promised to call me back to check if I was still suffering but she NEVER DID!! I'm in so much in pain and I need a new plate or they must refund me the money I paid! This was a BAD SERVICE and they've just lost a client!

I had my first two visits with Dr S Moodley and his team this week. On a whim I followed some reviews from a local social networking group to this dental care company and dentist - needed some urgent dental care on an implant. Right from the start this team have been very accommodating - I need to get my tooth implant fixed within a week. Due to covid the last two stages of the implant were delayed and as it also happens our previous family dentist has decided to retire :( Today, even though my tooth implant was a little troublesome, Dr S Moodley and his colleague made me feel less nervous than I would have been previously. They both clearly explained the situation, sought to find solutions and made me feel that I made the right choice becoming a patient here. They even stayed open later to help me Good, clear advice and gentle, kind and the most efficient care from the team here. Everyone is friendly and remove the anxiety of the process of going to the dentist with their warm smiles. Dr S Moodley also did a first dental visit for my little nephew earlier this week and explained everything so clearly and simply. So far I’m feeling really positive that I’ve made a great choice by selecting Dr S Moodley and team as our new family dentist. Thank you Dr S Moodley and team ⭐️

Dr Moodley is sincerely the nicest, kindest and most professional Dentist i have ever been to. From the minute i walked into his practice i was assisted by the friendly receptionist, his lovely assistant did my xrays, and then i met Dr Moodley who ran me through every little detail on my Xray. He showed me the areas he was concerned about and then asked where i was experiencing pain or discomfort (which were in the exact areas he pointed out). I have never had a dentist take this much time and effort to help me understand my dental health. He was so professional and so informative. it was honestly a wonderful experience. He then put on some music on for me to listen to while he did a full clean on my teeth. Loved that i was able to see a before and after with the technology he was using (small oral camera/scope) - enjoyed being included in the process. So happy to have found thee dentist for our family.

I was referred to the Family dental care in La Lucia by my colleague...I normally take good care of my teeth as I love smiling...however I then stopped due to my previous bad experience by a dentist ..so when they were suggested I decided I'll visit them..firstly the equipment is upto standard and also that we live in covid times they take hygiene and safety very seriously which then puts your mind at ease..humanity from the receptionist to the doctor and her assistant was amazing..I'm happy with kind of work they did n how it was executed, perfectionist and accuracy..so I'd like to say thank you to Dr Soni and Precious for the amazing work done..I'll recommend anyone to visit them..you wont regret it..by Senzi Mbhele

I've always been scared of getting a root canal and realised that I needed to get one. I read the reviews at Family Dental Care in La Lucia mall and I felt a lot more comfortable going in for the procedure as the reviews gave me some reassurance. Two weeks later, my tooth has been restored and the entire procedure was painless and pleasant. I am extremely impressed about everything to do with this clinic. The service, the procedure, the general care that they have for you. You can feel it. I will definitely be going back here whenever I need anything done and I strongly recommend giving them a visit. You won't regret it

I have a love hate relationship with having to go see a dentist. I sat with a cavity for a good 2yrs until it was literally unbearable. I would like to thank Dr Gordon and the staff at Family Dental Care. They honoured my appointed as scheduled, admission was a breeze and Dr Gordon has an amazing bedside manner. My teeth are clean, cavity taken care of and booked in with Dr Moodley to remove my wisdom tooth in the next few days. I think this is the beginning of a love love relationship with my dentist. Oh and their surgery is so modern, clean and top notch. 5/5

Highly recommended . Had general cleaning done all the way to root canal treatment. The pain was negligible even with the root canal treatment. I did go shopping after and looked like I had suffered a stroke when I spoke because my face was still numb!!!! Sayen Moodley is the best dentist by far. Typical dentist though - asked questions while my mouth was clamped wide open! No more fearful visits to the dentist - Sayen Moodley is the best. The staff at the practice are great too.

On arrival you are welcomed with a big smile and polite greetings by Gugu. The 3 forms to be completed by a new patient is explained individually. Excellent pain free treatment administered by Dr. S. Moodley. Each step of my treatment was explained by Dr. S. Moodley. He was also very patient towards a slightly nervous patient, me. I will definitely recommend Dr. S. Moodley to anyone that needs state of the art dental treatment. Congratulations and may you grow from strength to strength.

Excellent and very ethical dentist. Highly skilled and friendly, with a great manner. Latest technology like a 360 degree xray machine and cameras that show you what's going on in your mouth on a big screen. Gives you the best advice and tries to save you money too! Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Nice convenient mall, loads of parking. All round great experience. My sister recommended Dentist S Moodley to me and I am happy to recommend him to you!

Very convenient location and decent rates. Took my 9 year old in over the weekend. The staff are friendly and helpful especially the receptionist who really made my son feel at home. The Doctor was good as well and got everything done quick and painlessly. Nice little touch is he has Youtube in the office so your kids can choose to watch whatever they want while waiting or during the procedure. Will visit again.

I had my tooth extracted today by Dr Sayen Moodley at Family Dental Care - La Lucia. Dr Moodley performed the extraction so carefully and professionally, considering that my tooth was split in two. The extraction was done as a single tooth extraction and not in 2 pieces. I thought that his work was phenomenal. My gratitude goes to Dr Sayen Moodley...keep up the great work that you do.

I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this wonderful practice a few years ago when I was looking for a child friendly dentist for my daughter. Both times I have been to Family Dental Care, the dentist, Dr. Moodly, has been exceptional! The first time was for an infection under a crown which he was able to deal with in an amazing way. The second time was for a tooth and crown that came out of my gum because I ate a wine gum ! He was able to sort that out as well in an incredible way. I highly recommend Dr. Moodly!

Yesterday i had an emergency as i had broken off a part of my tooth and filling , I was given an appointment asap by the receptionist who is so efficient and definitely a asset to the brand. The Doctor was Dr Gordhan ,she was amazing professional and so patient with me and my anxiety so was her assistant . Within 30 minutes i had a consult, x ray and my tooth repaired .

From the receptionist ,assistant and dentist, they were all so pleasant and professional, answered all my questions and gave good advice. There was NO WAITING, I was seen to on time .
