For years I just avoided the dentist after struggling to find an nhs dentist that I liked/felt comfortable with and so decided to try private as an adult. I found this one and thought I’ll try it and see how I feel. My first check up made me feel so much better about going to the dentist that I knew I’d found one to suit me. They actually had the time to discuss problems and areas I was missing during brushing. I also required 2 fillings since covid began and I was impressed by how organised they were when they reopened. I used to be very anxious about the dentist, to the point where I just wouldn’t go anymore and have had panic attacks in the chair in the past. Since registering with far headingley I’ve been going regularly and feel so much better about it. For someone who used to be as anxious as me about dentists, having 2 fillings done without any problems has been fantastic and I’m very grateful. The first filling I had went so well and was completely pain free (I don’t know what numbing gel they use but it’s magic) and I didn’t feel any pain from injections. Because I’d had such a great experience with my first filling, I felt a lot more confident about getting the 2nd one done. In fact after the last filling I had on the 15/3 I left feeling happy and positive with the whole procedure being a comfortable experience. If you are worried or anxious about the dentist this is the place for you! You really do get what you pay for and with this dentist it’s worth every penny just for the quality of care you receive. Finally all staff are welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to and my dentist is very professional/trustworthy. You really do feel like they genuinely want to help you look after your teeth in the long term which is great. Thankyou!

Really hard to book an appointment here as phone calls, voicemails and emails often go unanswered. We also often get a different dentist/hygienist (usually locum hygienist) each time, as there appears to have been a consistently high turnover of staff over the last 5 years. After trying to book a check-up appointment (by both phone AND email) for myself and two children for over a month, I finally got a call today to book the appointments, but to also tell me that I need to pay today for both children's appointments (previously free with an adult appointment.) No notice whatsoever was given to the increases and I suspect that this is why my communication went cold over a month ago, despite some initial response by email only; Gemma did mention on a phone call today (to claim that the practice had sent me further emails regarding my appointments) that the decision to increase prices was taken months ago, just not communicated. For us, this is likely to be the final straw, as other private practices nearby seem to be much better value for money (40% less for an adult check-up!) Please also be aware that positive reviews here have been incentivised in the past with the promise of £5 credit at the practice, so take with a pinch of salt.

As a very nervous patient, both Megan and Laura have done everything in their power to make me feel at ease whilst in their care. As a new patient, I was quickly given a first appointment the next day. During the appointment, Laura talked me through each stage of the process patiently, explaining everything as we went along. She advised me on a treatment plan and I am now so much more relaxed about my next appointment. I am so glad I trusted the reviews and went here - the practice is clean and modern. They understood my anxieties and were professional about putting my fears to rest. Having recently relocated back to Leeds, I will be recommending friends and family to attend here.

Decided I wanted to get my teeth straightened and contracted Far Headingley Dental Care after researching their website. Went in for a consultation and the dentist I saw, Mrs Precious was really helpful, honest and informative about the different treatments available and explained all the pros and cons. Decided to go with the Invisalign treatment. 16 weeks later and my treatment is complete! Including whitening and smoothing out all edges. Really really please with the results and the service I received, just can't stop smiling now! The whole team were polite and friendly and special thanks to my dentist Mrs Precious for fixing my teeth! I would definitely recommend. R

I have only been a patient at Far Headingley dental practice for a relatively short period of time, joining towards the end of 2014 and I must say I have been totally impressed with their level of service and commitment. I have always been a person who was apprehensive about visiting a dentist, however Mrs. Precious and her team made me feel totally at ease with her very professional approach to work and patient care. Taking me through each level of treatment step by step. I'm over the moon with my teeth whitening, allowing me to be much more confident about my smile. As a grown man I had avoided the dentists for thirty years due to an acute phobia of them. I avoided smiling, and was very guarded when speaking to people due the condition in my mouth. Eventually after discussions with FHDC I attended. I can only thank Laura (Dentist) Gemma (Manager) Fauzia and Jag (Dental Nurses) for their understanding of my fear and embarrassment. The care, friendliness, and calm they showed whilst always professional was beyond anything I expected. I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for what you did for me. Its made me a more confident person when around people. Thank you.

So far (ongoing treatment) I have had a very good experience with Far Headingley Dental Care. All staff (reception to dentist) are very polite, nice and great at making you feel at ease. Dr Chris Tan has spent time explaining her thinking and decision making and always given me all the options, prices and her professional opinion in advance so that I could make an informed choice. She was honest about the likelihood of success of the treatment and I felt in good hands throughout my last two sessions. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Overall, it has been a good experience. The only reason why I do not score 5 stars is because the initial period of time I had to wear the alignments was around 4 months, however, it has actually taken around 9 months. I have not doubt that this time was absolutely necessary in order to reach the great results I have reached. Both the receptionists and Chris, my dentist, have been professionally impeccable. I would definitely recommend the Far Headingley Dental Care clinic to anyone in need of any dental work.

Cannot recommend FHDC enough! After years of avoiding the dentist I'm so glad I booked a new patient appointment with these guys. The initial consultation was very thorough but I was totally put at ease by Chris. I then went in for root canal which I was extremely nervous for, but the entire procedure was completely pain free and comfortable from beginning to end. After a good clean too my teeth feel so much better. Thank you so much, looking forward to further treatment and perfecting my smile!

Went for a routine check-up recently with Chris who I'd not met before. Very friendly and personable and at the same time had an air of professionalism and competence which made me feel at ease and confident that I was in good hands.In fact the whole experience with FHDC is one of supportive reassurance and skilled care. From the reception staff, support staff and dental professionals they collectively offer a high standard of care and dental hygiene support.

Easily the best dentist ive ever been to! Booked the appointment on Friday, got seen on Monday and got the treatment on Tuesday, couldn't of been any quicker which was amazing! All the staff are so polite and friendly throughout, Megan on reception was always smiling and happy to answer any questions. Was put at ease immediately by the welcoming calm atmosphere and felt that I was being treated by people who had lots of knowledge, empathy and experience. I have been a patient with Far Headingley Dental Care for about 6 years I am a very nervous patient, don't like going even for a check up how ever they have always made me feel at ease and helped me overcome my anxiety. I haven't been for about 2 years since Covid, I saw Mr Chris Beech never seen him before as he hasn't been there long I didn't need to have worried as he made me feel at ease and he was very informative.

I have recently joined this dentist after being with my previous practice since I was a young child. Everybody is very friendly & helpful. I was dreading the dentist and the experience was absolutely fine, I felt very comfortable and the dentist (Ben) remembered I’d told him I worked in travel from a previous appointment which was a nice personal touch. Fantastic dental care! The staff are lovely & really put you at your ease. Always on time for appointments & they really allow time to talk you properly through any issues / work needed with you. I don't have a problem with dentists but imagine if you were scared, this place would really put you at ease. Even my 18mth old daughter wasn't phased by her first trip here! Can't recommend enough.

I just had my first appoinment after leaving my last Dental practice over a year ago. My check up was great any concerns I had were discussed thoroughly before hand and once the check up was done the dentist explained any changes I needed to make to my daily routine. The practice was lovely and all of the staff were very welcoming. All in all a good experience, would recommend!

My experience with Far Headingley Dental Practice is 10/10. From the moment you step into the waiting room you are made to feel welcome and comfortable by all in reception. My Dentist Robert, is so unbelievably gentle and caring, as are the nursing staff. My Hygienist has educated me in the art of cleaning teeth correctly. No mean feat! The welcome and friendliness from all the staff at the practice is great. The surroundings are lovely and always spotless. At my recent visit I was seen in the new upstairs treatment room - a lovely environment to be treated. I have only had routine examinations and scale and polish in recent years but I always feel like I am given plenty of time to discuss any concerns.

By far the best dentist I've been to! I'm usually terrified of having treatment done but Rob makes the whole experience pleasant and relaxed, let's you take breaks if you need them and makes sure you are definitely numb before going ahead! Advancing years and neglect meant that my teeth were in a sorry state.Fortuitously I visited Far Headingley Dental Care and have been delighted with the result. I had 12 extractions in four visits and am now the happy owner of new dentures which become easier to manage every day. The staff are friendly and very professional and the treatment was relatively painless.

Had a cracked tooth during lockdown, contacted Far Headingley Dental Care, they got back to me very quickly and gave what help they could. Have just been in for a tooth extraction and they were brilliant. Every care is taken to protect their patients as well as staff. Felt very safe in their hands. We registered as a family a couple of years ago purely because I passed the surgery in the bus everyday! It was a lucky spot, the staff are fabulous and my two kids are not scared at all of their visits. Mr Rob Campbell left our old practice several years ago and we moved last year to follow him and become his patients again. We are really pleased we did. Staff are always welcoming and professional and treatment is thorough and informative. We have never felt pressured into plans or treatment. I would definitely recommend it!

Love the dentists here. All staff are nice and helpful too. You have to sign up to a dental plan which is £22 a month to begin with, but it was worth it for me because there were years long waiting lists on the NHS.
