I had been with a different Farmer's agent (Spencer Colgaizer) for 3 years with absolutely no problems-they were great. In 2020, I was automatically transferred to Todd Campbell's agency (I'm assuming the other agency closed). I received significant rate increases every year (I was claim free) after the switch. I honestly should have left immediately-- even the very first interactions I had with Todd was having to follow up on a policy change request we had discussed that he forgot to make. So fast forward to about 4 months ago--my premiums on both my car and home had doubled since I was switched to Todd's agency, and he was unable to bring them down to a more reasonable level. An insurance broker suggested I look into switching agents rather than companies, so I did (big mistake). The other agent (Kimberly adams) was even worse, which i thought was impossible. So I canceled my policies, even signing a verification letter Kim sent me, and switched to another company (best decision ever) now saving $50 a month. Then, I received an email this month from Todd's office telling me that my mortgage company wouldn't pay my premium (of course, they had already paid the new company months ago), and that to cancel my policies I needed to provide my declarations page from my new insurance. I responded that I had already cancelled with the other agent a few months ago.. Todd emails me back telling me that I have to pay regardless, either to them by the 5th of December or complete my transfer then pay the other agent... So, then I had to try to figure out what happened...because that's the job of a former 6 year claim-free Farmer's customer apparently... Luckily, I found a very kind Farmer's employee (Cole Tacker) at a DIFFERENT agency who actually took the time to look into what happened-it seems like kim adams-who is no longer an agent- dropped the ball on transferring my policies correctly. So although the transfer was not Todd's fault, he was clearly unwilling to go to any lengths to try to figure out what happened or acknowledge that I had cancelled my policies and the company screwed up. **update--Todd did personally call me after I wrote this review and apologize, stating he would have everything taken care of, so I do appreciate that.
First let me start by saying we got a great rate with Farmers. My disappointment is with the lies! In May of this year we called Farmers to bundle our car with our home insurance. As I stated before the rate was outstanding, but we were mislead about the coverage. We man it very clear that we had 2 cars in Texas, and 3 cars in Louisiana. We asked Joseph, and Molly if we needed a separate policy for our cars registered in Louisiana. Molly called me back a stated, "no all of the. Are can be written on one policy!" As time went on, one of the cars was still registered in our daughter's name due to the fact she got married , and we took the car back to pass down to our other daughter in college. No one was driving our cars but us, but when our daughter went to the DMV in Louisiana to get the registration sticker updated, she had to pay $275.00 for no insurance. My license was flagged as well for not having Louisiana insurance. I called Louisiana, and I was told that Liberty had not been able to write Louisiana policies in over 2 years. When I called this to their attention, no one wanted to assume the responsibility. I wrote to the Texas insurance commission, and they contacted Todd Campbell. He told them that it was our fault, and not theirs. As I stated before, Lies!!!! They lied to us, and never apologized, or showed remorse! Beware! Don't let this happen to you!!!
I've been overpaying Farmers Insurance for years. I switched companies and got a rate almost half the cost for the same insurance. When I cancelled before the renewal they claim I still owe them $30.08. For what? I owe nothing. YOU OWE ME. You did absolutely nothing for me with the thousands of dollars I have spent with your company. Everything this company does is pure obnoxious exploitation. The single time I tried to file a claim for damage to my home your company refused to do anything. I don't know why you have a good reputation. All that's happened to me is I've paid in thousands of dollars that I could have used to better my own life. I wouldn't trust Farmers Insurance to pay out a dime on anything. They just want to take your money. Don't use them.
I have had so many issues since switching to this Farmer's agent. Todd and his staff are arrogant, at best. They do not care to service individuals, yet seem to thrive on larger "360" accounts that include home, cars, and financials. His staff is highly uneducated and rude. Example: Joseph answers his call on speaker - that is how much he values his clients. I have been trying to research an issue that is causing my rates to fluctuate for months but no response. I get no return calls and very basic answers to question. Currently on the phone with Joseph, patronizing at best. Beware.
The Todd Campbell Farmers Insurance Agency is absolutely phenomenal. They are customer-centric, fully focused on your needs, and are willing to help in any way they can. Before you buy your home, ask them to run a CLUE report to find out what former claims exist. With competitive pricing, over-the-top customer service, and insurance agents who actually know what they are doing, you can rest knowing you are covered.
Todd and Cody (my adjuster) really took care of me during a stressful time. Not only were they very accommodating when navigating a tough time, but they were quick to respond and provided a caring environment. I would recommend working with either/both of them any day. I really appreciate it, fellas.
Spoke with Dan in the office and he was able to transition my policies from another state to Texas with ease. Made recommendations to my policies that made sense, and within a couple of hours had my policies (digitally) signed and active. What an easy experience overall.
Norberto is a very knowledgeable and personable person. Any questions I had he was able to assist me in the right direction. He made me feel like a friend and not a customer. Definitely recommend the office and definitely recommend coming to work with the team!
After some miscommunication Dan went above and beyond to help us resolve our issue. We strongly recommend him, once he became aware of the problem we were having he was quick to fix it. We deeply appreciate him following up with us.
As a loan officer I have received exceptional customer service. They are quick and efficient. They reach out to all my clients and go over policy coverage!
