Ok...this is a tough one. I walked into this new Fatburger location with an open mind. I love burgers. The lady who took my order was less than friendly, but not rude. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo. Bacon and cheese are not included, so they upcharge you for both. So for my 1/2 pound burger with bacon and cheese, fries and a drink...the total was close to $18 USD. That is an expensive burger. By any standard. I immediately said I would never come back WAY too expensive. It was clear they made my burger after I ordered it. What I mean is, it took 15 minutes to get my lunch. So don't come here thinking it will be quick. (You can probably order online ahead of time but I don't know) Now, the burger was REALLY good. Flavorful, juicy burger, crispy bacon, gooey cheese, crunchy raw onions. I was blown away. I had convinced myself (due to prices) before the burger came that it wasn't going to be good. Having said that... it is still a very pricey lunch. Too pricey for me. I imagine rent is high at this location so they are forced to charge insane prices (we aren't in San Francisco) but I would only return on a special occasion. It's too expensive and takes too long . 4 stars cuz the burger was great albeit pricey.

Holy cow Batman, I ordered two tiny sliders small fry and drink. $15. I was still hungry. They were tasty, they do make a good burger but you will pay dearly for it. I guess they figure it's only fair since McDonald's is now trying to get $10 for their burgers... Fast food is no longer viable for what it was originally intended to be in my opinion... Even taco Bell forces you into buying combo meals now creeping up on $10. I'm going to focus on patronizing small mom-and-pop sit down places and staying away from these corporate cash cows. If I'm going to overpay for food, I want to know its going somewhere I can appreciate. Seriously you can go to Brian's BBQ and stuff yourself silly for about the same as you pay here for a burger. I'm sure it doesn't help that they probably pay $8,000 a month for their tiny retail space. Honestly we should probably blame on the real estate investing on why everything is so expensive and stop blaming the minimum wage workers. I guarantee their overhead cost more than their labor does.

I watched my food sit on the counter and get cold while waiting in line for 7 people to order in front of me. They almost took the order of the next person BEHIND me in line before allowing me to quickly swipe my card, pay and leave. How rude. Every other restaurant has developed a good system for pickup orders where you can walk in, grab and go. If you decide to call in an order for pickup and you happen to get there and there are 10 people in line before you, just walk out the door without paying. Your food will be cold anyway. Zero common sense, just disrespectful to think of allowing the guy BEHIND me in line to go first. Ugh, won’t be back again. *I want to clarify that I did make it known that I was there to pickup an order. I was ignored. When they finally got to me, a quick card swipe and I was gone. Again no common sense. Need separate register or the brains to stop and swipe the cards of the pickup order people.

Update: Still great burgers, new complement form 'K' "Reliably Good Food.". Still great service. OK, five stars for a burger place. Remember the category, as far as burgers go, this is the best. NOT fast food, everything is cooked fresh when you order. Bring some patience. We got (1) Turkey burger, (2) An Original, (3), Kingburger; all very good, about 10 minutes. Skinny fries, crispy and tasty, you may want to order them extra crispy. If you follow my reviews, getting it right is important. Steve double checked everything, made sure it was right, and offered to help carry the order out. 5 stars, just for the great service. THANKS!

One of the friendliest greets I've experienced in a while from a burger joint... Also interesting to discover the founder was an African American woman who started the business 4yrs after In N Out Burger... Kind of makes me wonder what was going on in Cali that produced all these great burger eateries... Nonetheless, the cashier/ order taker/ greeter was patient but it didn't take long for me to make up my mind... He carefully walked me through my options and then confirmed my order... Although he took my name for the order, instead of calling me back to the counter he walked it right out to me... Unsure of what to expect since it had been so long since I tasted the Turkey burger from Fatburger in Atlanta I bit in cautious but expectant... WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Flavorful, juicy, amazing!!! Great Turkey burger plus the thick fries were a great bonus! We could use one in Chicago for sure!!!

Hands down THE BEST Fatburger location I've ever been to. They have consistently been amazing, everytime I have gone the burger tastes exactly like the first time I went. I've tried other locations throughout california as well, and none come close to this location. I have yet to try the challenge, but seeing as I have to get the Maui shake and some fat fries to go with my meal, I dont think I can do it yet. Thank you guys for always making the best quality, most flavorful burger every time I go. Nowhere comes close to this quality burger. You might think with so many ingredients it would be overwhelming, but trust me, it's perfect! Although I do add cheese and an egg. Thank you everyone who works here!

So this is my second time going to Cavecreek fat burgers and this is my second time I’ve been terribly disappointed. The burger was juicy yet tasteless it got totally lost in this sea of mayonnaise lettuce pickle onion that have obviously been all cut and mixed together it was total mush which in turn made everything in that burger mush along with the end cut of a tomato that was totally mushy it made for a terrible bite of a burger. I asked for the works they left off the mustard which in this case thank you, it just would’ve made things even more mushy. The customer service from the gentleman that I had help me was a five star and again there was no one in the whole store which makes you wonder?

I'm not much of a burger fan, but my fiancé is. I walked in with low expectations, but this turned out to be a really good burger! I actually ate the whole thing, which I really never do. My fiancé ordered a massive 3 patty burger since he's a huge meat eater, and he loved it. The onion rings were very different than I'm used to, but really great. They almost had a tempura-like batter that was delicate and crispy. The staff was friendly and really fast. I'll come back here for sure!

What can I say it was absolutelyn delicious. I haven't had fat Burger in over 6 years And it brought back so many good memories. Not only was the food amazing the service was great. As a truck driver we try to find restaurants where we can be in-and-out in under 15 minutes. The staff was very respectful and took their time to help me out with the menu, since it's changed over the years. Definitely coming back again.

For somewhat "fast food," it is pretty good. They cook everything fresh after you order. I really like this place because they serve gluten-free buns, dairy free cheese/shakes and veggie burgers. Pretty hard to find those things in most places. Definitely a favorite!

So I've been here multiple times and I would of given it a 5/5 but not sure if someone was having a bad day or maybe a new cook, something was way off on the burger took about 3 bites and nope not gonna finish that, if I had ate it at restaurant would of said something but had gotten it to go and not gonna go back and forth, so I'm sure I'll go back again and hopefully whatever was off that day will have corrected itself and life will go on. THESE ARE BIG BURGERS!! Burgers here are worth the price, if you want a cheap burger, go to one of the fast food chains. In my opinion, 1 of the top places to get a burger in AZ. The burger was okay. They got my husband’s order wrong, but fixed it. When the young man brought my “extra crispy, browned” fries, I told him they were not crispy! I asked him to drop them in longer. He shrugged and said he put it in an extra minute and couldn’t put them in again . McDonald’s fries are much better!!! These were disappointing!!! The floor way very slippery and when I told the gal she said she would clean it and never did. This place is an accident waiting to happen!!!!! Will NOT return!

Burgers and fries are the BEST...The service was also really good. Its fast food so there are no waitresses or waiters but the employees still checked in with us and took care of us. 100% great experience and best burgers.

If you like in and out, drive another 10 mins to desert ridge. If you don’t like in an out, the burger here is like five guys. Pricy and not special. I went there with my little one during dinner time on a working day. The place was full of people and they were understaffed for sure because it took 5 mins before they can clean one dirty table. The place is definitely family friendly because I saw lots of kids there. On a plus side, they gave a small toy to my small kid.

The hamburger $9 dollar patty was not the same. I ask if the patty was changed. She said they didn't have the original patties as the food delivery service was on strike. So, they are serving what they received and have no control over the contents. I ask for 50% discount next time to compensate for the bad burger. She said no, as nothing was wrong with the hamburger. I got cheated. A 4$ burger patty on a 9$ burger.

When we walked in at 7:30 and saw the grill was clean we should have walked out. I love Fatburger it's my favorite burger, but I like them cooked. Usually Fatburger is an experience with some lively chatter coming from the kitchen. This was just possibly dangerously undercooked burger in a space void of energy. I have ordered fat burger in the past and it was pretty bad but I thought I’d give it one more try and was once again disappointed. Their food is expensive, they take forever to prepare it and has zero flavor. I decided to try the boneless buffalo wings instead hoping they might be better but I was horribly wrong. For $20 I got a basket of overcooked, chewy chicken. Fatburger has definitely made my list of places I will never go back to.

Good food and friendly staff. Wife's order wasn't exactly what I wanted but was workable. Will return.

Called order in (large order), lots of special request. The young lady I spoke with repeated my order back to me - correctly! When my husband picked it up, the order was 100% correct. The only suggestion I would give, is that it would be nice to know what was on the burger (I don't like pickles or pickle relish - it had both, just scrapped them off and the burger was great! Glad Fatburger is in my neighborhood!

Food prices are outrageous. Will never go back. We ordered a kid meal with grilled cheese. We were charged $5.49 for a grilled cheese, fries $3.49, drink $2.49. All split up. Asked why he told us very rudely that they were losing money because we asked for a grilled cheese. Seriously. It bread and cheese. A regular burger cost more to make. Made no sense to us. We definitely will not be back.

Pretty good burgers. First time I need a place I always get a burger just meat and cheese only and it was yummy. Greasy of course but what Burger isn't. Definitely worth eating at and usually my star ratings more reflect the friendliness of the people then the taste of the food. They were only two people there when I was there and they were both super friendly and helpful. Give 'em a try

I gave this spot a 3 star For a few reasons. A simple classic burger was good not great. The fat frys not to much. For a burger and fries and drink 16.00$ not really worth it. I went due to being in that area at that time. If your just hungry in the area dont waiste your money.If you live in that area thats a great spot to eat burgers and wings at premium prices...

The burgers are fat & juicy, giving credibility to this restaurant chain’s name. Staff is friendly, always polite, and keep the place clean. Cons: Online orders, they seem to get wrong often times (wrong bun option / incorrect toppings). Other: As far as Buffalo’s Express, I do not recommend their wings. They lack consistent quality and have no crispiness (skin).

Ordered Buffalo's Express from this place. My recommendation: don't. Got my online order wrong with Uber Eats. Went and picked up correction which was wrong too. Oh, and nothing "fat" about the wings and stupid expensive. No thanks across the board. First and last time...if they think I'll try the Fatburger side of the house, they'd be wrong. Completely done.

Something is always missing too expensive for them to be forgetting items as if they do it on purpose. $20 Vegas burger with no lines. Order online for pickup, it'll be ready in 12-22 mins. Boca burgers are best value, impossible patty is a rip off that makes my digestive system smell like metal. & I once ate a 1.5lb burger & wasn't hungry for two days.

When there today for lunch. Oder it with everything and Burger was just right! I don't like Mayonnaise but It top every thing else just! They truly have one of the best burgers I have ever eaten! One of these days I will try their chili chz hot dog as a friend told me they were good. I also love the fact that they DO NOT salt their french fries. My only complaint was the shake I ordered. It was so thin & runny i called it the most 'expensive chocolate milk' I ever drank!

Just ok. Ketchup dispenser was empty. The guy in front of us when we ordered told the staff and they did nothing about it during the roughly 45 minutes we were there. My wife's burger was over seasoned and her skinny fries were cold by the time they hit the table. For the long wait and price there are better options just down the road.

The manager and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I asked for a burger without the bun. I got a great burger on a bed of lettuce in a container. Perfect. No mess like some places that wrap it in lettuce. Excellent taste. We will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

Super yummy, super clean. All staff friendly and efficient. I have allergies to tomatoes and for once someone listened and paid attention. Will definitely recommend and come back again! Twice now I've ordered boneLESS wings and received bone IN wings. Their bone in wings are NOT good, they're rubbery and lack flavor. Burgers are definitely great! But it's kinda frustrating when you pay for one thing and get another and you're already home!

Really good burger and fries. If I could compare it to something else, it tastes similar to The Habit Burger Grill. The portion size is similar to Smashburger (smaller than normal). It's more expensive than other fast food restaurants, so I'd say The Habit provides a better value.

The food is good, but if you order online, don't expect the store to even begin preparing your order until you've walked in to pick it up. Additionally, don't expect an order of chicken wings to have carrots and celery.

Onion rings were great! Burger was okay, bun was stale. And like most other places in the valley, soda fountain is terrible. It sounds kind of nitpicky I know but this is not a cheap Burger, kind of expected a better experience. But I will try them again!

Burger was really good, and the milk shake just topped it all off. Food took a bit to prepare, but it was prepared fresh. Lots of options on the menu and can customize it however you want. Also there is a burger challenge if that is your thing.

Always forget that this place is here. Haven't tried the buffalo Express side but the burgers are fantastic and the original (smallest size) is more than enough. Just remember that cheese is an add on.

The best burgers in the Phoenix Metro area. Everything is made fresh and the entire staff is very welcoming. We drove all the way from Gilbert too and was extremely worth it!

I love me a Kingburger with cheese and a fried egg. For the love of god, fix the stinky drain smell inside the restaurant.

The service is always prompt and courteous.The food is fresh and delicious! Its a frequent go to dinner hot spot for us.

Yikes...don't come here unless you want the most juiciest burger. Knock your socks off sweet potato fries.
