Fev Gym is a FIVE gym Since the beginning of 2021 I have been going to that incredible gym, and I can say that it is the best gym I have been to in my entire life. I can train comfortably and effectively because the gym has a lot of quality equipment and a great environment. And many of my clients who have been training there for 1 - 2 years, when they first visited FevGym for the first time, have been fascinated with everything they saw in the gym and signed up for a membership without thinking twice. Since in the gym you can see: -Equipment - Cleaning and organization - Customer service (Jose, Tristan, Zach and Dorian are always very attentive, friendly and willing to help) - Environment of - Location of - It's 24 hours - Friendly competitions - A very friendly community In addition to the fact that the owner of the gym is a very cool and unique person, he appears in the gym as one more gym member, talks and laughs with the members, workout there, support you, and well, he is just great person because despite owning the gym he is very easy going and humble. If you are looking for a gym to workout. FEV GYM recommended x 10000 And if you go you will not only be one more gym member but you will be part of an incredible community

I've lived in Austin since 2006 and gone to a LOT of gyms around town. I always loved gyms that focused on weight lifting over cardio or just had tons of random machines everywhere. I found this place during covid and am so happy I did. They have tons of squat racks, bars and all the free weights and plates you would need. All of the employees here are awesome. Very friendly. Always willing to help or give advice. Everyone that works out here is very friendly and helpful as well. Even during rush hour gym traffic you can always find a squat rack or deadlifting platform open. This is hands down the best gym in Austin. It's meant for people that take weight lifting serious. I've never seen anyone have a problem at this gym. It's always clean. Always open if you are a member, and always a very comfortable atmosphere. This gym was a huge help in me losing 30lbs and I can't thank everyone that works or goes here enough. I'm leaving Austin and wish I could take this place with me. If you are looking for a serious weight lifting gym, this is the place for you. Great staff, great weights, great price. They will treat you right and you won't be disappointed you became a member. I know I wasn't.

I've been to most gyms in town (Hyde Park, Gold's, ABP, LifeTime, etc.) and after joining FeV a few weeks ago I can tell I'm going to be a member here for a while. This is a no frills, legit gym for actual weightlifting. There are plenty of squat racks, deadlift stations, etc. so I haven't had issues waiting for equipment, and people have been nice enough to let you work in on some of their more limited machines. The equipment isn't quite as new/nice as ABP's, but is more diverse: they have stuff like a hip thruster station, earthquake bars for stability work, etc. They also have tons of bands for mobility work, although space for this is very limited - the tight quarters along with limited warm-up options (e.g. treadmills / bikes) are really my only complaints so far. Hard to beat this place for $75 a month!

With the Covid pandemic shutting down most of the gyms I am so thankful that FeV has remained opened for the community. This facility is always clean and organized and it's never overly crowded or filled with gym pervs (ladies, you know what I mean). The owner is extremely down to earth is he always greets people when he is himself training at the facility. The spotters are also very friendly and they are amazing at keeping the equipment sanitized. If you are looking for a new gym where squat racks, platforms and barbells are always available look no further, this place has it all. Oh and did it mention that they have 24 hour access? well they do and they can help you get it set up and everything

Honestly, the best locally-owned gym I’ve been to and a part of. Staff is exceptional, owner is always around too and makes everyone feel welcome. The members are great and create an inclusive atmosphere . If you like to be left alone and not bothered during your workouts, this is also a good place for you. It’s super affordable and as a trainer, It’s the best possible environment to work in. All my clients feel safe, supported and welcomed. Love it so much and incredibly grateful to have such a safe haven to both work in and workout in. 10/10 would recommend!

The best gym I've ever had, by far. If you like free weights, primarily train SBD, or like using chalk or making noise in the gym, you won't find a better gym in the area, especially at this price. There's a reason much of the Longhorn Powerlifting team chooses to train here. On top of this, winter storm Uri showed me that the owner really care about the members. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this gym is because I never have to wait for a rack or bench and I don't want that to change. For real though, check this place out.

  • Nick Sarlo

Awesome gym, originally started coming here because the other globo gym I was at let people not wear masks and this gym continued to enforce it as long as the CDC recommended it. Ended up finding the gym experience I had always wished for. Even during the busiest hours I never have trouble finding equipment. If you've ever gone to a box gym and wished they would replace all of the dumb equipment with barbells and platforms, then this is the gym for you. Also you can't really beat the price, especially considering it's 24 hours.

  • Walker Wiese

Impressive gym with the right equipment to get strong. Always many open pieces of equipment and was never crowded. Also the 24 hours access is a huge plus. Extremely friendly staff who remembered my name after just a few visits. Reminds me of what a gym should feel like. Friendly, local and genuine. Partners in your fitness journey. In addition, the staff and members were very diligent around cleaning the equipment during the Covid-19 era. Felt no fear using the equipment or risking any exposure. Highly recommend the gym!

Great place to lift, lots of iron, good bars, plenty of squat racks. If you are serious about lifting heavy iron, this is the place to be. Low price for membership and no commitment made it easy to try it out and I'm glad I did. I've been here for three months now and it was a good choice.the staff is knowledgeable and the crowd is great. Serious, respectful people who do their work and don't show off. Great environment! They are chalk-friendly and have bumper plates. They also put on regular form clinics on weekends.

  • Conor Buckley

This gym rules. This is a lifter's paradise. In my one year as a member I never once had to wait to use a piece of equipment due to there being a surplus and plethora of platforms, squat racks, benches, etc. Whether you are a gigantic meat head who can deadlift 1000 pounds or a scrawny newbie barely picking up the bar, this is the gym for you. Everyone is super friendly, fun and atmosphere is great. Fair price compared to other gyms as well. James, the owner, is super communicative about updates, events, and more.

  • Olivia Gutierrez

What a breath of fresh air from the traditional globo gyms! Every single piece of equipment is new and top notch. No expense was spared in outfitting this place - which clearly shows a great amount of pride in the business they have built. The vibe is SUPER chill. As a lady lifter I was a little skeptical about the douche-bagery I might encounter. I've been multiple times now and much to my chagrin everyone is pleasant, focused and the douchery non-existent. Don't hesitate to check this place out!

  • Michelle Swimley

This is the best lifting gym in South Austin. With only a $5 drop-in fee you should definitely give this place a try. The facility is fairly small but clean and stocked with everything you need to lift. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately I had to drop my monthly membership but the cancellation process was extremely easy. A simple email request and my membership was cancelled within the hour. No hassle at all. Five-star customer service!

  • Thomas Kim

I started at FeV when I was overweight, weak, and knew nothing about weightlifting, and I was incredibly nervous about joining a gym. Not only are the staff incredibly kind and welcoming, but the folks who work out at FeV are all respectful and polite. I've never had to wait for a rack in the year I've been here, and the owner and staff have kept the place open despite large scale power outages, internet outages, snow and ice.

  • Allison Lapid

Best lifting gym ever. Seriously. It has all the equipment you’ll need as a weight lifter- MULTIPLES of benches, squat racks, platforms and cable machines. They even have a hip thrust setup. You’ll never have to wait on anybody in comparison to being in a commercial gym. Never had a problem with getting the workout I planned on even during “peak hours”. Staff is approachable and does an amazing job with keeping the gym clean.

  • Sara Kerr

This is the only gym I’ve ever visited since moving to Austin almost a year and a half ago. And that’s because since the first day I knew this was the best gym I could ask for. Not only does it have top quality equipment, a clean environment, AND atmosphere control, it’s also a fantastic community. Truly a welcome environment for both beginner and expert lifters alike. Also the 24/7 access for members is just *chef’s kiss*

  • Jason P Trevino

Super high quality weight equipment. Richard was incredibly friendly and I can only assume the rest of the staff is as well. Though the gym is lacking cardio, if you're going to a place called "IronVault" should you really be expecting that? I wouldn't recommend it if you're scared of loud noises, but if you're ready to move more into weight training and pushing 1 rep maxes then this is 100% the place for you.

  • Theresa Lê-Sorensen

I tried out a number of gyms when I first moved to Austin and felt the most comfortable at Iron Vault! The community is amazing - everyone is respectful, courteous, and genuinely supportive of one another. The gym is always tidy and organized, and I never had to wait too long for a piece of equipment. If you're interested in strength training and want a no fuss, no frills gym, I recommend checking them out!

  • Claudio Castro

My favorite locally-owned gym that I've ever been to. They have have all the things lifters (novice all the way to expert) need in terms of racks and platforms. I really like it compared to big chains (e.g. Lifetime, Gold's, 24H Fitness.) No flash, no frills, no BS. The pricing hits a sweet spot too. James is extremely responsive and communicative on updates with the gym. Come get your lift on

  • Penner Lyke

TLDR: Iron vault is a weightlifting gym with new equipment and excellent management. There are so many pros, I’m just going to list them out: easy sign-up, fair price, 24 hour access, helpful and friendly staff, roomy with plenty of weights to go around, not overcrowded, and painless cancellation. The only reason I’m not still a member is that I live north/central and there’s a gym 2 blocks away.

  • paul clear

I really have enjoyed my regular visits to Iron Vault. People are pretty serious about their workouts here, but still kind and thoughtful. If I’m near a piece of equipment, folks always ask if I’m using it. Front desk/spotters are all genuinely nice. Facilities are well maintained and clean. It’s easy to tell that the owners care about this place, not something that can be said about every gym.

  • Lauren Barney

Best gym I've ever been to. The staff are chill and always willing to help, plenty of Olympic bar and racks to go around, and the culture echoes into even the member behavior. Everyone is kind and respectful. Everyone cleans up after themselves and reracks weights. It's a community. I'm another reviewer who is moving and I'm honestly emotional about leaving FeV behind. James, thank you.

  • Justin Clitheroe

Posted the 5 star review a couple months ago but figured I'd update it because I moved and just got around to cancelling my membership Dang dude I'm so spoiled, I signed up because iron vault was 3 minutes from my house and ended up with the best gym in town. No waits EVER for anything, 24 hour access Very sad that I'm moving and will probably end up going to golds or something

  • Michael Woodfin

This is the best gym I've ever had the luxury of being a member of. They have all the equipment I want, with plenty of racks, platforms, and dumbbells. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and they made me feel at home while I was in Austin. I don't write google reviews and I'm going out of my way to write this one, that's how great my experience has been here.

  • Sourav Chakraborty

Great gym for powerlifting, body building, and Olympic lifting. Many racks and benches, so no waiting for equipment. All Rogue bars and enough weights for everyone. James is a fantastic owner and listens to the customers. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful as well. No complicated contracts or upsells, has cheap day pass for only $5 available as well.

  • Adam VanBaale

In my opinion, this is one of the best gyms in Austin! There is so much equipment that you never have to wait to use anything. This is also a great gym if you want to lift heavy because they have everything needed for that. The trainers are very knowledgeable and the staff is great! I highly recommend this gym to anyone!

  • Nate Klause

This is a great gym. I'm somewhat new to Austin and don't know about other gyms in the area. Regardless, one of the best gyms I've ever been to. They have a ton of equipment and you'll never have to wait for squat/bench/deadlifting. Great place. James is also communicative about gym updates and is responsive.

  • Keith C Benedict

This gym is just what I’ve been looking for! It’s predominantly free weights, but they do have a fantastic cable station as well. Staff is genuinely customer concerned, and fellow gym goers actually practice standard gym etiquette as in re-racking and wiping down weights and stations. Amazing!

  • Jackson Humphrey

FeV is a clean, comfortable atmosphere place to lift. Good for lifters of all levels - I’ve been going the past 3-4 months and have absolutely loved my experience. Friendly staff that are willing to help if needed. I’d highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great local gym!

  • Christopher Alfaro

Had an amazing time training at @fevgym. The owner was amazing and super accommodating plus he is a veteran and I love supporting those that have served. It was clean, well taken care of, and a perfect setup, couldn’t ask for a better vacation gym. If you’re in Austin, it’s a MUST.

  • Jeffery Alvarez

If you’re looking around for where to go lift, then stop looking and just go here! I was traveling on a weekend and stopped by. I seriously told my wife, if we ever move, I want it to be here near this gym! If there’s any reason I come back to Austin, I will always come back!

  • Adam Becker

This is the best gym in ATX, hands down. I’ve tried other places, and came back because the communication from ownership, accountability, and availability, are top notch. The staff are awesome, and friendly. Nothing else compares. There is no substitute for the best.

  • Javin P. Jav

This is a new gym and is located in a good part of Austin. There’s man gyms in Austin, but this t I highly recommend. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, all the right equipment for any work out you are doing . Stop in and try it out . Amazing deals and guest pass

  • Bread Girl

This gym shifted my perspective on what gyms were and could be. One of the few establishments that still values customer service and enhancing their experience in any way they can. The staff are super friendly, the community is great, just a good gym overall.

  • Ankit Agrawal

I can't speak highly enough of this place, if you are in the area this is the only and best gym you'll have for likely the rest of your stay. Great crowd+staff, 24/7, every implement you could need, and you'll never wait for a rack in your life.

  • Eshan Sayani

This is the most inclusive and supportive gym I’ve ever been to. Everyone is very kind and encouraging and approachable. There is lots of powerlifting equipment available and even at peak times I’ve rarely had to wait long to use something.

  • Max Armas

Great gym, mostly free weights and a few machines. The staff is super friendly and offer advice/workouts or help in spotting. Equipment is new and facilities are kept clean. They have hassle free membership/no contract or $5 day passes.

  • Dustin Pekar

You couldn’t ask for a better community. Broad range of equipment. Plenty of squat racks. Clean and organized. One should take advantage of the spotters provided by the gym during business hours. It’s such a great perk provided.

  • Jeffrey Lewis

Want to say thanks so much for making a great gym. It was just the right atmosphere to get me back into the groove. I'm about 15 lbs lighter and making better choices, much thanks to re-establishing a gym habit at your gym.

  • Peter Brewer

Good power lifting gym. Devoted mainly to squats and deadlift. No frills. No real cardio equipment to speak of. Drop in price is only $5 and the first session is free. You should check it out if you're curious.

  • W W

5 days in but seems great. Front desk was a normal person and not an automated response receptionist like the big gyms. Proper equipment for real lifting if you were an athlete. No frills, perfect spot.

  • Taylor Johnson

The only thing better than the equipment and space in this gym are the people who go to it and work at it! Should be able to put 6 stars, if you're looking for a place to get your goals at - this is it

  • Marcus Godin

Honestly don't think you can find a better gym. Brand new equipment, great atmosphere, awesome staff and straightforward price. So happy I found this place, by far the best gym in the downtown area.

  • Travis Spanu

Hands down the best gym I've ever been to. The equipment is top notch, the music kicks, and the spotters remembered my name after a week of going there. I've never been so pumped to get in the gym!

  • Isaac Stein

Great gym. No bs, tons of weights, everybody is friendly, plenty of equipment. They have like 10 squat racks so you’re never waiting. Plenty of deadlift platforms too. Highly recommend this place!

  • Mike Tiffany

Probably the best gym I’ve been to. Tons of barbells, racks & benches. Unique equipment you don't see often like GHD and reverse hyper. Staff is always willing to help and everyone is friendly.

  • Johnnyshan Ross

Old school gym. All the iron, bars, racks, and benches you need. More dumbbells than you can lift. No TV s. Members and staff understand gum etiquette. If you want cardio, go outside.

  • Atti Bodo

I'm a novice gym goer and this place is great. I was looking for a place focusing on more barbells than machines and Iron Vault is awesome! I feel safe lifting with their equipment.
