Cheap food with OK taste. The flat white was not flat, there was so much froth as you can see from the picture. Very strong coffee though. The caramel slice ($2.90) is not what you'd expect, it's like eating an ANZAC biscuit with chocolate topping, it's nice (little tough on the teeth) but not a caramel slice. The éclairs were OK, what you'd expect from a bakery. The meat pie was good too. Not sure how much everything cost but the bill came up to $21. No surcharge for paying via EFTPOS. The lady serving likes assuming things, example for my coffee she made it large without me specifying the size, she also gave us a packet of tomato sauce so I hope we were not charged for it. Service was friendly. There are outdoor seatings (along footpath), two tables with two chairs each. More seating available inside, maybe four tables.

The lady selling there likes assuming things and always chooses the biggest size for the biggest price of course. Today I ordered a French vanilla slice which is too soft to eat with hands. When I requested a fork, she charged me for it, without a word.

I asked if they took EFTPOS before I ordered they said yes. I proceeded to order a hot chocolate once it came to payment they advised it was a minimum of $8. I only ordered a small and didn't want anything else. I had no cash on me and they wouldn't allow me to pay just for the small drink. They said buy something else with it then. I walked out and never gone back. My advice, don't buy from this bakery.

Absolute Rip-Off. Asked for a salad roll and got a tiny bun with limp lettuce, carrot, onion and beetroot. I asked 3 times how much is this going to cost?, got no answer. Paid by efpos - $8.00 !!! (minimum charge) I asked how much if I paid cash - $7.80 !!! Definitely the worst and most expensive salad roll I have ever had. Avoid at all COST !!!! (pun intended)

Whilst the food is ok, I have stopped going there because they have an $8 minimum on eftpos. And they enforce this. Even when buying two items for $7 odd the women refused to process on my card. Got quite grumpy at me. In covid times you can't afford to lose locals as customers over a few cents of transaction fees.

Avoided telling me the price of my purchase until after I had used EFTPOS which they later told me had an $8 minimum. Incredibly stingy with the ingredients for their salad rolls which turned out was probably the worst I have ever had. You are much better off going to the Ferntree Gully Bakery in Alpine Street.

i bought bread from this bakery and discovered to my horror (just before toasting - thank god I didn’t eat any!!!) that what I thought were seeds that shouldn’t have been in the bread mix were actually mouse droppings! Avoid at all costs! Disgusting

I’ve has the eclair a few times & it’s one of my favourites. Tastes nice both cold & room temperature & the chocolate flavouring & cream tastes fresh. Definitely reccomend.
