I ordered from this restaurant through door dash just as I have many times in the past. I ordered 2 hamburgers for my mom and I. The menu describes the hamburgers as being 6 ounces served on buns with fries. I also ordered a slice of chocolate cake and paid an up charge for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. When the food arrived, we found the cake, ice cream, 2 delicious hamburgers, but no fries. I called door dash customer service who in turn called Fiddler’s Dell. The Door Dash rep advised me that the restaurant was refusing to send out our french fries unless I paid an extra $2 for each side order of fries. To most people, including myself, when a menu says a burger is served WITH fries, it means the price I paid should include the cost of everything; the burger AND the fries. The Door Dash rep called the restaurant again (after I sent them a screenshot of the menu that does indeed say the burgers come with fries) but the restaurant would not honour their own menu! As said, I have ordered from Fiddler’s Dell many times and the food is delicious but this terrible service left an awful taste in my mouth. What kind of restaurant refuses to honour their own menu inclusions and prices?! Advertising a menu item and then jacking up the price after the fact is just wrong. As a courtesy to me, Door Dash placed a new order for the fries and paid for it for me. Shame on this restaurant for the false advertising and for nickel and diming their loyal customers!

Ambient atmosphere, great service and most delicious meals like chicken paprikas served with dumplings. And of course the best Pilsner Urquell on tap I ever drank. Thank you. And here is my recent experience - cozy place with the greatest food and beverage. Excellent choice of soups, like this beef and barley soup leads to even better variety of main dishes. Today I enjoyed this mouth watering goulash with home made dumplings while tasting one of many excellent beers available on tap. January 2023: Another wonderful experience at Fiddler's Dell Bar & Grill. This time it was a delicious Jaeger Schnitzel. Lightly breaded pork, with bacon and mushroom creamy sauce, veggies & mashed potatoes pairs well with an outstanding Pilsner Urquell beer. That beer is so good that I couldn't resist and got a few sips before I took the photo and dived into this excellent dish.

We went to Fiddler’s Dell to meet up with friends for the Super Bowl. This is a family run place that has that wonderful atmosphere, you can only find in a family run business. The perfect neighbour feel! The bartender was super and the owner cooks the meals himself. Would love to see more vegetarian options, but Pirogies always hit the spot! I have to send a special shout out to the bartender: he was attentive without being in our face. Made us feel welcome and supplied water alongside the drinks to make sure we stayed hydrated. Nice touch! We will be back

We stopped at this local spot today for a couple of pints and lunch. The owner told us that they just recently reopened (in the last two weeks) after Phase 2 of the reopening plan was introduced. There are a couple of tables set up on the sidewalk with umbrellas that offered a nice view of the happenings on this pleasant end of Annette Street. My Slovak Stroganoff was delicious and the perogies are always really good. European beer served in 20 ounce pint glasses. We also had a pleasant time talking to Chris and Joe.

I have been going to Joes for food and pints since I became of age to drink. They have amazing eastern European food with a very wide selection and a wide selection of quality beers. Also, Joe (the owner) is a tremendous human being who always looking to make his customer feel comfortable and tries to help the community. when I was raising money for a very large charity organisation, after giving a presentation to joe, he gave me a very kind donation. Love joes, all should go and support this local pub :-)

This place sets the standard of what your neighbourhood pub should be. Unpretentious welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, an great selection of drinks. Cozy place with great traditional pub food as well as a number of central/eastern European dishes on the menu. The food is cooked by the owner himself so it is prepared well and with care. Perfect place to watch the game with some friends

What a great time with our family. Such nice memories. Wonderful atmosphere very friendly server and accommodating to us with an 8 month old. The food is so good. There is something for everyone. Excited to come back here for another great experience and to try all the items! 10/10

Went to watch the leafs game. 20 beers on tap which was great. Wings were OK, schnitzel Sammy tasted like I made it myself. 80's interior, awful projector TV was probably intended for PowerPoint. I would go again and try the rest of the menu and beers.

This is my neighborhood go-to place. Food is great, bartenders are friendly and beer selection is good. Took my friends here to celebrate my 31th b-day, everyone loved it. Would also recommend trying their Slivovitza with its 46% alc.

I am giving 3 stars because I only picked up 2 beer and Lays potato chips. When I paid I was surprised that it came to $20 and change. I asked how much a can of Cdn cost and was told something like $9 and change. The menu stated

Cozy little pub in an somewhat out of the way location. Warm, welcoming, and a decent draught beer selection. Friendly staff, and the clientele are well put together. Would definitely recommend for a drink on a cold night.

  • Lenka Macajová

Excellent food, excellent service and very friendly owner. One of the best Pilsner Urquell beer on tap I've had in Canada. The owner is proudly taking care of cleaning the pipes regularly. We will definitely be back.

  • Patricia Hausner

Upscale sports bar with tasty European and Canadian menu choices. A large range of beers and lagers on tap. Most tables are in booths making this a cozy place to dine. Quiet (for a sports bar) with friendly service.

  • Ian Melamud

This is the West End's most expensive dive. The selection of beers is decent, but the the typical pub fare food is extremely overpriced considering the amount and the quality. More

  • Dominic Kacmar

Wings were amazing, but the hot could use some more flavor, otherwise beer was amazing as we all know Czech and Slovak beer is one of the best pilsners around the world

  • Diana Sookdeo

Looks are deceiving. The bar is a dive but the serve food all day and the traditional comfort foods like goulash and spaghetti are pretty tasty.

  • Dan Adams

Expensive and portions seem to get smaller. Charges for small packages of jam or if you ask for extra sour cream with nachos. Greedy owner!!!

  • Michael Duke
