Told them I'm looking for a new honest mechanic to bring my truck too. I brought my truck in to get an oil leak fixed, they told me the struts & transmission fluid also has to be fixed. Made the appointment to get fixed then decided to get a second opinion at Vernaus automotive on Higgins, they inspected it and informed me their was no issues with the struts & no transmission leaks other than the minor oil leak. Don't trust these mechanics, they'll rip you off if they can. They almost got me for about $900 at minimum.

First of all the service is so slow, they finally called us in after two time set backs to tell us it’s ready, just for us to come in and sit for an hour and a half. Luckily it’s finally done but now they have a car blocking the door so we have to wait even longer, just for them to take even longer to drive it out. I understand some set backs and time but it was taking forever and they called us in when it wasn’t even ready. At least they charged us a good price.

We went in for a simple belt and oil change and they said that the truck needed a fan clutch. We agreed and they kept adding on to the cost and jacked up the price and work on the minor work. The owner does not care about standing behind their work. They are there to RIP you Off! Plain and simple. The prices on hourly rate may be cheap but so is their work!p Poor work! poor service! Do not take your vehicle to this place! Check out the list of complaints online!

Used to be a customer there, went there yesterday to get on the mpi program. Person there was like oh can you come back later? Wasn't even busy. Doesn't take long to send in an application form for mpi. Took my number and said would call back. Never did. Came back the next day and this time another person said mechanic went home can you come back later. Why even be open. Don't waste your time here,they obviously have no interest in working.

They are courteous and friendly, Respectful..and that's really important to me as I'm Dakota, just great to go see. I feel they are trusting and fairly priced. Better than others I have searched out. They are my new go to people..I love they're small shop. I send all my blessings to them over the holidays.

Tell me what I need and does not work on the problem if its not necessary, in short they will advice you on what you need... For example not choosing aluminum vs steel effect might cause more trouble in further future. Again they will only work for the problem you ask and you experience.

If you don't know much about cars, do not come to this place. A simple issue with your car will turn into a terminal cancer. They will make up BS stories to rack up your repair list. There are more reasonable and honest shops in the city but definitely not this one.

Brought my car to different shops here in Winnipeg, but only Fil-Canadian Auto Repair fixed my car. I’m glad my friend referred me to this shop.
