This place is a gem! The aesthetics are off the map! A bright, spacious space and beautifully curated mix of high end teak and mid century modern furnishings. Every corner of this place has been thoughtfully arranged and each vignette/display is Instagram worthy. A long time fixture in Toronto, we are so lucky that Filter has chosen to relocate and set up shop right here in Hamilton. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Don't pass up the chance to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

We love checking out what's new at the Filter store! They have some excellent vintage teak furniture as well as some Gus Modern pieces.(You can order from a catalogue if you want something they don't have.) Every time we visit the staff is friendly and very helpful. We bought a beautiful sofa there a few weeks ago which they delivered to our house. 5 Stars!

Well-named and larger iteration of the Queen West Antiques Center. No need to sort through piles of tat, because they only sell interesting, quality pieces at honest prices. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful owners. Make the drive to Hamilton and be rewarded. Very fast turnover of the good stuff (same day in some cases) so if you like it, don’t wait.

Unless you look like you could drop big money don't even bother going in. We went in kids in tow to purchase two items a friend was wanting. 5 mins and NO one acknowledged us... not even a hello when we walked in . we left without purchasing the chairs.

Beautiful store with an impressive curation of furniture and other home decor. Prices were fair and the store was dust-free (bonus!). Never seen quite as nice of a collection at a consignment furniture store before, I hope I'll be back again soon!

Might be one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. The store owners are some of the nicest people I've ever talked to and welcomed me graciously into their store on multiple occasions. Definitely a go to spot for mid-century furniture.

Dishonest pricing. The Gus Modern Rialto sofa is $4,545 everywhere, including on the manufacturer's web site. It is not a sale price. Here $4,545 is the "sale" price, with a fake $750 markup to $5,270 as the "regular" price. Shop around.

I was really impressed. Mike brought in a big Klint bouquet light for us. They now stock it, but didn't when I enquired. Love the light and returned this weekend to order a set of Moller stools. All very enjoyable.

This store is incredible, the owners are very respectful and know what they are talking about. I would 10/10 recommend if you are looking for high quality mid century modern furniture and lighting!
