My spouse went to this clinic for a root canal procedure. The procedure was traumatic, long-drawn, and painful, and she is still dealing with the effects of it. She visited this clinic based on the good reviews, but it's important to see which dentist the reviews are specifically for, before making such a decision. She got the appointment with Dr. Enderami. The procedure went on for several hours during which the dentist broke a piece of a dental equipment inside the tooth and then struggled to get it out for some more time, unsuccessfully. The tooth was finally filled-in with the piece of metal still lodged in there. This total ordeal lasted for over 4 hours. The clinic then booked an appointment with an endodontist to remove the broken instrument. During the endodontist's appointment they were only able to take out a portion of the metal, eventually having had to fill the tooth once more time. The pain continued for several days. Now the metal continues to be lodged inside and the tooth still unsettled. She is currently considering extracting the tooth altogether. Needless to say, this was a painful and precarious situation that my wife was unnecessarily put into, the health implications of which are still uncertain to us. I would encourage new patients who are considering this clinic, to check the reviews for specific practitioners instead of going based on the overall reviews of a clinic.

It's been awhile since my last dental cleaning. I decided to give this clinic a try since they had many good reviews on google. The dental hygienist, Dan, was absolutely great. This was one of the very few cleanings where I did not end up gagging (I almost always do at some point) and I have a history of jaw dislocation. I needed the occasional break and that helped so much. They had a choice of polish flavours (wow!) and they were also able to do a quick assessment at the end. I know I took up more time than I had booked for but I never felt rushed at any point. Booking was very easy and I never felt pressured into any additional services. They listened to my concerns and I'm grateful. I know I am not the easiest patient but I had a pleasant time here. Will be coming back in the future. 3/4/2023 So I came back 2 weeks later for a filling. Yet another 5 star review. I expressed my concerns about the cavities that i had, explained my history with my problem tooth and the procedure felt like it only took 15 minutes. I barely felt the freezing needle and they gave me breaks to swallow since I wasn't a fan of the suction tube. I couldn't even tell where they drilled during the entire procedure since I was frozen so well. Very tolerable and extremely grateful to Dr Enderami and her team. Until next time!

Words cannot express how grateful I am finding Dr. Payam Fakhri on Open Care. Not only is his practice in Scarborough conveniently located 10 minutes (walking distance) away from me, he also works Saturday! I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't been to a dentist the past five years due to poor experience with my previous dentist but I had a chipped molar so I reluctantly made an appointment with a random dentist. I am definitely glad I decided to see a dentist and found him. He's super caring, compassionate and excellent bedside manners. He constantly checks up on me throughout the procedure, gives me a warm towel and even puts vaseline on my chapped lips - I seriously cannot ask for more. He also calls the following day to ensure that everything is in order. Dr. Fakhri is super down-to-earth, passionate about his career and makes you feel at ease. He even gave me a pillow, headphones and put on a chick flick for me. The staff at his clinic are also incredibly patient, super friendly and easy going. There's no awkward sterile environment in this clinic. I am so happy with him that I referred my sister and mom to see him and will definitely pass on his contact to anyone looking for a dentist. As hard as it is to believe, I actually look forward to going to the dentist now.

I had one of my best dental experiences at Finch East dental, Dr. Fakhri and his team are very friendly and knowledgeable. I first went in for a root canal consultation and he fully explained my options, everything that would happen, the risks, the success rate and what would happen if I didn't have the procedure. The day I went in for my root canal his wonderful assistant greeted me, and we chatted for a while which helped to keep my mind off of what was about to happen. Dr. Fakhri then came in to greet me as well, and go over my procedure and the risk once again, he took time to make sure my mouth was nice and numb before he started and that I was comfortable. I was able to watch a movie which was good, because it was a long process, throughout the whole thing he made sure that I was still numb and comfortable and let me know what he was doing as he did it. Once I was finished I was able to see pictures of my tooth, and he explained how the procedure went, and what to expect during recovery. I would definitely recommend him !

Dr. Payam Fakhri is a very down-to-earth dentist, who is enthusiastic about his practice. I was in lots of pain when I called Dr. Payam. He faxed a prescription to my pharmacy right away, to prescribe the proper medication for my pain. Aldo, he had busy schedule, he made time to see me pretty fast. I'm definitely one of those people that gets nervous and anxious when it comes to seeing a dentist. But I was pretty calm when I saw him. He is personable, always has funny jokes and the most important factor is, he has comprehensive knowledge and uses the new dental equipment. I've never had a better dentist. Dr. Payam is my dentist. I hate going to the dentist, but love the folks here. There aren't many things in life that cause me anxiety and fear, as much as going to get my teeth checked, and hearing all the drills and grinders, and imagining what is happening in your mouth and what would happen if there was even one slip. Dr. Payam is a professional, experienced, and friendly dentist, who specializes not just in expert dental procedures, but extraordinary patient care. His techniques minimize pain, and maximize effectiveness - he takes the time to do things right, and is one of the most considerate medical professionals I have ever met. I recently moved over an hour's drive away from his clinic. I travel up to 2 hours still in the GTA traffic to see, only Dr. Payam. I pass over 25 highly rated dentists along the way, but the only dentist I put my trust in, is Dr. Payam.

My long time decayed wisdom tooth need to be extracted and I went to Finch East Dental by a referral. Place is clean and comfortable. Some toys and kids books at the corner feels like home. Doctor Fakhri and nurse are extremely nice I even didn't realize my tooth was gone after they told me because I didn't feel any pain and didn't expect that would be so fast. Doctor give me detailed instruction about how to relieve the pains if you feel it later, but fortunately I couldn't have chance to practice it because no any pain in following days. This is a first class dental experience and definitely I will go there in the future when I have tooth problem.

I needed an extraction of a broken tooth. I am a rather nervous dental patient and, as I had never met Dr Payan Fakhri before, went into the procedure with a considerable amount of trepidation. On meeting Dr Fakhri I was immediately put at ease by his kind thoughtfulness and then by his skill at making the process pain free and fast. I can honestly say that my initial healing took place within 36 hours and within 48 hours I am back on track!! I’ve been a patient of the Finch East Dental Centre for over 30 years. Despite moving away from the area 20 years ago, I continue to make the 60 minute drive to receive the excellent care from my hygienist Don and the incredible support from the Office Manager Cathy who handles even the most complicated billings on my behalf. While my experience has been mostly with Dr. Peter Markle, who is now semi-retired and whom I had total confidence, my daughter continues to take the TTC from downtown for the services of the new owner Dr P. Fackri.

I was in need of a root canal and was not looking forward to this at all,( I would have rather been audited by Rev.Can. if I had a choice of pain). I was very happy that this was painless, and not the scene from the movie " Marathon Man" that I had envisioned of working on my tooth. Dr Fakhri was excellent, along with his staff, he made this such an easy procedure I actually had a fun time.....and all this is at the Dentist's office! Once again, a big Thank You to the friends at Finch East Dental Care.

I want to first start of with acknowledging their timing. My appointment was for 10:00am and I was maybe 2-3 minutes late but they still took me in on time. In most dental offices, I have experienced very long waiting time. Dr. Anese Enderami was amazing, she is caring of her patients well-being, just as well as her assistant. They took good care of me and did a great job with the filling. I would highly recommend this dental location for your services.

I haven't been to a dentist in years. I went to the Finch East Dental Care and found them to be friendly which right off made me feel more comfortable. Your first impression is usually with the receptionist(s) and the cleanliness of the office. It was not crowded to the point where you thought you would have a long wait. I was very pleased with my first impression and even though no one likes going to the dentist I do look forward to my next visit.

Nice personality, but will not return as initial treatment has resulted in the procedure to basically have been a waste time and money, as was told fillings rather than root canal would solve the problem, but dug too deep to have now come in contact with the nerve causing pain to arise from chewing, which would now require root canal at additional charge when have already paid 1600 initially when this was only for 2-3 cavities. Very disappointed.
