I live downtown in a condominium where you have to book a time-frame to use the elevator for moving. The movers that came to pack my items did not bring enough boxes, but assured me they would be able to finish packing and move everything on time the following day. I asked if they wanted to start disassembling my kid’s bunk bed, but they said no they would do it the next day. They left early that day after showing up almost 20 minutes late. The following day, they kept telling me they would be able to do everything on time, but they ended up going over our slotted elevator time (the time was booked 8-12, but they showed up at 9). This cost me more money to keep using the elevator. On top of that, they could not fit everything in the truck so they had to drop off things at my new house, then drive back to pack up everything else. What made things even more frustrating is that there pieces to my kid’s bunk bed as well as my own bed that were still at the condo, so part of the crew couldn’t put any of those major items back together until the rest of the crew came back with the rest of the parts. At the end of the exhausting day, I just told them to leave everything else in the garage and I would sort it out myself. These workers came across as unorganized and inefficient. No one is wearing uniforms so it seems like they were hired right off the street. On the up side, they were friendly. I felt bad that due to poor planning, they had a long day so I still gave them a tip and bought them dinner. However, I still would not recommend.

The five gentlemen were extremely gracious and professional. Several pieces of cabinetwork we wanted stored were well defended by them. A large number of boxes were also moved out. When you calculate everything, the price comes in on the high side, but everything is handled very strictly and packing accouterments wraps are used as demanded. It may feel over the top if your stuff is not very nice. This is surely not a low- end moving and storehouse service. Still, everyone then's extremely professional and gracious. The home service assistance has caught my attention. Also, the carriers themselves and the company as a whole make it flawless, reducing the hassle factor to zero. I would like to thank all of you for your help!
