"Great food and great portions, enough to take home left overs"
"This place never disappoints"
"Pleasant Asian fast food cuisine discovery, I was there when they opened and thought it was a Pei Wei ripoff, and wont survive"
"The quality of the food has declined since my last visit"
"Food was a bit overpriced and I'm not sure why everything was being given to me in to-go containers when the folks next to me got real bowls"
Great food and great portions, enough to take home left overs. I got the pad Thai and my mother got the custom stir fry, we both were satisfied and impressed. Faster and more affordable than the PF Chang across the way, but better quality for a fast-casual Asian restaurant. Would recommend for a quick and affordable Asian bite More
This place never disappoints. It had been over a year since I last dined in because I don't live in the area, and I was very pleased with the consistency in friendly staff, clean dining area, food comes out quick and hot, and of course delicious. Looking forward to dining here again and hopefully it will be much sooner. More
Pleasant Asian fast food cuisine discovery, I was there when they opened and thought it was a Pei Wei ripoff, and wont survive. Years later, I wrong and glad off it-food was surprisely good. Sadly, the service is spotty w a lot of unfocused high schoolers/college males in their own world. Popular.
The quality of the food has declined since my last visit. I was surprised that it was served in low quality paper bowls. I know that the cost of food and supplies is much higher than it was several years ago, but their cost cutting measures detract from the overall experience More
Food was a bit overpriced and I'm not sure why everything was being given to me in to-go containers when the folks next to me got real bowls. Overall just ok. Avoid the crab rangoon- it does seem like real crab but it's basically a thin layer of spread and underwhelming. More
Exceptionally mid. And that’s not a bad thing. It’s like an Asian chipotle spot but slightly better. The coconut soup was fire though and for only $3 is the best deal I have seen in Austin. The rest of the food is average to below average. But fast and convenient More
This was my first time, and I am so glad I did. I ordered the custom stirfry with fried tofu and teriyaki sauce on the side, and it was so delicious. Also, the customer service was awesome! I was helped by Adam, who was very friendly and patient. More
No sign for online order pickup. I went to ask the lady in the front but she wasn’t helpful and tried to interrupt me while I was speaking to her. The guy with the long hair was nice. I usually eat at the RR one and the service is always great. More
Was collecting the last order of the day but the staff were very patient and polite. They had cleaned all the dishes but missed giving one of our sauces, so started all over again and gave us our due - hot and fresh! We had ordered stir fry
Staff was great and friendly, but the actually stir fry was just bad. I ordered the summer roll and crab ragoons which were tasty and the summer roll was the size of a burrito! But the main problem was the main entree. I just ordered ramen
Food was hot and tasted great. Unfortunately they fell short on being sanitary. I watched three cashiers play on their phones, exchanged money with customers, and one scratched their head. After all this, each one took turns pulling apart
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was unexpectedly bad. The place is clean, food came out looking great. The pad Thai and general thaos chicken tasted nothing like they should and lacked so much flavor. The dishes tasted “off”.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. I ordered a tofu stir-fry with custom veggies (up to 5) with brown rice and Szechuan garlic sauce. You have a choice of rice or noddles for your stir-fry. It came very quickly and was pretty good. More
The server who took my order was so pleasant and the portion was generous! So much good tofu and the peanut sauce is delicious, even better with the crushed peanuts on top for the crunchy texture. This place has so many options to mix and
Haven't been there in several yea4s because we moved away but the food is still good. Food is now served in paper containers and they're also affected by inflation so their prices are up and portions are down. When we were regular, it was
Ordered take out. Food was some of the worst we have had at fire bowl. We have had bad experiences in the past but usually try to give places second and third chances (everyone has a bad day now and then). This was the last straw though.
Rice vermicelli with spicy peanut sauce is always my favorite in Fire bowl cafe. Last time though I tried Lemon Basil sauce with lemon grass and I loved it too. My husband had the Spicy thai pepper sauce with chicken. I love how you can
Food is great but these Hispanic lady that is I think a lead or manager very rude needs more experience on greeting and customer service. Also how can you allow your employees to eat in front of the customers not professional joking and
Firebowl has been very inconsistent the last couple of years. It use to be a place you could count on every time but it has been a while since that was true. Flavors and textures change nearly every time. It's not terrible food but you
What can I say? Where else can you create your own stir-fry meal, and have if freshly prepared within minutes of choosing? Fire Bowl. That's where. Pick a protein (beef, chicken, shrimp, or tofu), select your favorite veggies, hate
Nice outside seating area if you so choose. Went during lunch hour and pleasantly surprised is not too busy. Service was fast and friendly. And the food choosen (stir fried) was very good. I definitely will come back again! More
Blandest, most disgusting Thai I've ever had, no flavor at all. almost certain the positive reviews are bought. No possible way people think this food is good. I threw it away almost as soon as I got it home. Never again More
Came in for dinner and decided to try the pad Thai. Probably the blandest pad Thai I’ve ever had. Flavor was barely noticeable. Next time, I’ll try something with a little spice in it. My advice, skip the pad Thai. More
Really fresh food, spotlessly clean. We would rather patronize a local spot vs a chain, but we had literally just walked out of a local place due to their cleanliness. Fire Bowl was immaculate. Thanks! More
Its a good restuarant with great portions at reasonable prices. We ordered coconut soup and kung pau chicken bowl. Chicken bowl is great, coconut soup is ok. Friendly staff and quick. Must recommend. More
My first visit. Serving of Pad Thai was ample, but it had no flavor. Will have to check menu and order another entre next time. Took most of it home and will add my pad thai sauce to finish it. More
We ordered the chicken fried rice and orange chicken but the flavors were so bland. All we could taste was oil! Service was decent and the place looked clean, but would not recommend the food. More
Stopped by before heading to Target with some friends. Menu has good options. We all got something different and really enjoyed. Took home what was left too, since the portion is a good size. More
First time getting Fire Bowl Cafe, ordered veggie rolls, a Thai summer roll and Drunken noodle to go. Not my typical choice but it’s close to my work and I wanted something quick and nearby.
Food is generally good and feels fresh. But this is the second time I ordered the veggie mix with baby corns, and they were just awful - hard and not tasty at all. More
Small cozy atmosphere. When you’re looking for something different and tasty, give it a chance. You won’t regret it! We ate some good chicken Katsu. More
I got the drunken noodles and they were good but had SO MANY humongous onions. The crab rangoons also don’t have anything but cream cheese in them. More
This food was so good! I definitely would recommend. We ordered to go, and we forgot to take pictures before eating, so the pictures may look weird.
The pork egg rolls taste like McDonald’s chicken nuggets, which I kind of liked. However, the crab rangoons taste like cigarettes. More
Great spot for a quick bowl! Potstickers were big and full of flavor, both both we ordered were very tasty . Glad we stopped in
Delicious food and awesome service. I get the stir fry your way with 5 vegetables, brown rice, and fried tofu! More
Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Got veggie spring rolls to start which were nice and crunchy.
Superb and fast. No non sense high quality clean Asian food! Still awesome after 20 years.
Best spicy coconut soup anywhere! Egg rolls are amazing!
