Went there last Saturday night for a multi bday supper. We were 7 people. Our waiter Nick was great! The restaurant itself is not bad. It's just as soon as it's running a bit by amateur lights are a bit bright. There's no atmosphere. The staff looks dishambled and non-professional. The food was good. The meat was very tender. We all had prime rib so it was tender but it's just. The presentation was a bit amateur as well and it's not bad like you could go eat there. I would go back. I guess I wouldn't suggest it but if somebody said they were going to eat that the fire grill I'd say okay. What the heck you know so it's not that bad Cure and around the Phil St. Lawrence you can go try it out. Prices bit pricey. Service was okay. We had a great waiter Nick. Luckily we had Nick cuz if you looked at the other people working there it left the mind to wonder. Also the parking outside sucks you have to park your car like next to the building and it was raining and windy that night. So by the time we got in everyone's hair was up in the air. You can't drive up to the door and drop somebody off. You have to park far. That's it. It's terrible unless there was a side door I don't know about but I don't believe so. Yeah so I wouldn't recommend it you know but if you have to go because everyone else is going, go for it. Try the prime rib it was good. It's in the SphereTech on Cote vertu Go try it out and write what you think to compare

I went there yesterday with 3 friends to celebrate the birthday of my best friend. We started with the fish platter and garlic bread as entrees. The Tuna Tataki was so damn good, never had any served that way. The garlic bread too was very good with the Monterey Jack cheese on top but far too greasy. Next, 2 ordered a burger, birthday boy ordered a club sandwahich and I got the wild mushroom pesto. My dish was creamy and delicious and portions were very generous. In terms of the decor, the restaurant had such a nice and cozy cabin vibe. There was even one wall covered with large leather tiles. I think those two aspects mentionned above deserve a good 4 1/2 stars. The service however probably deserves none. I had asked the servers if anything could be done for the birthday boy to celebrate. Well she waited till one of us was gone to the bathroom and then brings in an icecream with a candle on top. No happy birthday song, not even a wish or a smile on her face. Just threw the cup nonchalently and left. Obviously we were so struck that the two others on the table took time to recover before they got into the spirit to sing anything. At the end, we also ordered creme brulee and a brownie. The creme brulee was disappointing and the brownie had too much coffee in it that it ruined the chocolate flavor I was craving. My suggestion, get your entrees and main dish there but skip the dessert.
We went late, about 2 hours before close. First time there and no complaints about the service itself. The hostess was very polite and the waiter too. The food wasnt great. When the waiter asked how everything was we said ok as we didn't want to have to wait longer to eat because of the time. Plus, I also don't trust food sent back when eating out. My friend's chicken was good, but my hamburger was extremely dry and no flavor. It came with firehouse sauce that was barely on it. Most restaurants cook hamburgers well-done unless specified but this was like cardboard and flavorless. The mojitos we ordered for $11 tasted like nothing more than soda with lime and mint and zero alcohol taste. Maybe it was because ¾ of the glass was ice or maybe they really put no alcohol in it, but that was disappointing. The coffee was just warm and the 10% creamer possibly had started to turn because the coffee had an aftertaste once I added it. We wouldn't go back again for the prices and low quality of food and drinks. It's too bad because the service itself was good.

This restaurant would not be my first choice. I went there on Friday evening and set on the patio. Unfortunately, some planes flow over but that is to expect so close to the airport. But it was not to load and did not take away from the ambience which was nice and comfortable. It was not too busy during my visit and I was seated right away. Both the greeter and server were friendly. The rest of the service needs improvement though. It took around 20 min to get some water and forever to order food. The water was never refilled by the way. I had a ‘Prime Roast Beef’ with ‘Creamy Garlic Mash’ [Potatoes]. The menu states that it is ‘Superior Grade’ but it had way too much fat included. Also, they could not server it medium rare, but my waiter mentioned it while I was ordering. The mashed potatoes tasted somewhat artificial to me, and the only real flavor came form the 4-5 chive snippets on it. Note, there were NO vegetables include (as per menu). But I do get the same meal in other restaurants. Vegetables are normally part of it and medium rare can be done. Getting my bill also took forever. Overall rating: Overprized for service and quality My Rating: '4 Stars' = Very Good, '5 Stars' = Way Above Expectations
Prime Roast Beef Au Jus on the menu said "slow roasted to perfection" were far away from perfection. Looked like they were cooked days before and reheated until well done / dried out. Mashes tasted like they had been cooked days before as well. Cooked forthe previous weekend ? And brussels sprout over grilled in the oven with light sprinkle of parmesan and supposedly with bacon for 12$. They were less than 6 sprout in the plate. I feel I was a victim of the lack of customers in that restaurant. So 59$ for sprouts, cooked meat and mashed. Martini 18$ for a half full glass because "it's hard to carry" :-( So 2/5 for food quality wasn't there but potential is) 4/5 service (1 server for a table of 12 and always look after his table) 3/5 atmosphere nice and comfy but my goal at going to a restaurant is 1 food, 2 service, 3 atmosphere. I felt like I was paying for an over spacious restaurant empty.

The food was absolutely amazing! But, the server was not very plesant. He was a bald older gentlemen (I did not get his name). Who yelled at me for tipping him $5. He said I should've tipped $9 instead. I could definetly empathise with him because the cost of living is outrageous. However, the way he handled the situation was not very professional. He then manually input the tip percentage on my friends bill and did not allow her to put her tip in herself. We felt really uncomfortable and displeased with the service. She asked for a medium steak and got one that was thoroughly cooked instead. They made a new meal for her which she was very happy with upon it's return. I think it was not fair that the server input the tip he wanted on her bill without giving her the chance to tip him what she thought he deserved. Food was great but service made the experience memorable in a negative way.

I do not normally provide reviews for "chain" restaurants but the positive experience at Firegrill was so good I felt it was deserved. A six person group of us attended a Wednesday lunch service and, to my surprise, the restaurant was packed (always a good sign). Normally I am taking pictures but I didn't even consider it at the time for this experience. Sorry. Most of the group had the Firegrill Burger, one the Cobb Salad and the last a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Everyone was raving about the quality and taste of the meal, and walked out with a smile. The ambiance is dark wood and dimly lit (though not dark) which ensures that table conversations are audible even though we are relatively closely sitting together. The service was very friendly and attentive. Special call out to VIKKI who took care of us very well. Enjoy!

Plenty...the Spheretech building has ample lot parking on three sides.
I'm a person with a very exquisite pallet I love trying new things especially food In my honest opinion I don't think the name suits the restaurant I was expecting every dish to have some form of smoky barbecue flavor to it since it was my first time trying it. Highly disappointed mash potatoes were basic didn't taste any flavor in the roast beef and the smell was like raw meat was not very pleasing for me calamari was basic no flavorwith too much bread crumbs and super oily the creamy MC n cheese was super dry with sprinkled bacon bits not even real bacon no flavor the only thing that was just ok was the grilled chicken I went with a friend and my sonthe bill was 110$ which was reasonable but it's not a restaurant I will ever want to try again I think they should change the name to no flavor resto and it was dark as hell then I realized me along with my son and friend was the only customers there.
Having read the reviews and looking at it from the outside I decided to try my luck. I was greeted friendly and welcoming and they accommodated my wish to sit at a table than the bar, which often can be an issue if you are dining on your own. The waitress was attentive and very friendly and happy to help out with questions. I had their popcorn Chicken for starters which was probably one of the best popcorn chickens that I have had in a long time. As main course I opted for the Chicken and Ribs and that was pretty good as well. The ribs tasted a bit too much of charcoal for my taste but the meat was good, it literally fell off the Bone and the BBQ sauce wasn't bad either. There was plenty of food there and the price was good as well. All in all I would say that this is a great little place. I would come again.
Love the place. Cozy. The food was good, the place wa snice the waiter was HORRIBLE. Older french man. Very rude. Felt like he didn't want to be there. We asked for 3 pina colada and when my friend repeated he said ok no alcohol and brought her a daiquiri. We got over that because the drink were good. He was rude the whole time and when it cane to pay, my friend from out of town give him cash and he told her:" yea i dont have change for you, can you just use your card? Don't you have credit card?" She wasn't going to ask for change but he didnt give her the time to say so. We told the hostess at the front door that he was very unpleasant. But reading from certain reviews, it seem to be recurrent with that specific waiter.

My wife and I went to this place for the first time as part of a company Christmas party. We went around lunchtime on a Saturday. We pretty much were the only people in the place. Our party of 6 got two appetizers which was enough for 5 of us (our other party member had not arrived yet). The main plate was big enough to take some home for a couple people in our group. Dessert was had by 5 of us as well and there was a mishap with the waitress. She misunderstood our order and got kind of snippy with one of our party members. She did bring the correct item in the end, but there was no reason to back talk a customer. This is the reason I have assigned a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Everything was great and not one person had a bad thing to say about their food.
OMG..Firegrill has evolved and they are not joking anymore! For years, I have always loved Firegrill for the great service of their staff and overall experience. But I still needed their steaks to shine. And that was going to be a bit tough as I happen to prefer solo operations and not chains. Years later (went back there this past Sunday July 2nd 2023), that too, is now fixed: a glorious rib eye steak, as chunky and gloriously nicely dry aged and tasty as one would expect from a respectable steakhouse! The grilling effect, in effect! Respect! Folks, this time you gave me no other choice but to shower you with those well deserved top marks! To Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Bravo!

Really enjoyed this place. Ordered a white sangria, although it wasn't the best I've had, it was still good. Had the spinach dip and a ceasar salad, both were also good. We had the ribs and the prime roast beef au jus with baked potatoe, so good and flavorful! The food was great and our waitress was new however she was wonderful and didn't spill a drop of the sangria pitcher while pouring it. She also refilled our water without having to ask. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because we received our main course as we were still eating our entrées. It would've been nice to have some time between courses. They weren't busy so I am not sure what happened there. Other than that this place was really good and we will be back. Thank you!
It's been a few months since I last dined here but it appears like the quality is going downhill. The vegetables on my plate were like from a bag of 12 month frozen food... I tolerated it. My friend, however, received cold french fries on their plate and had to send it back to reheat. Service was excellent as the staff are very hospitable and friendly. I assume this may have been a bad evening for the restaurant.

We ordered the garlic bread , octopus and then the rib steak . Started off good with the garlic bread , octopus was ok nothing special but we were anxious for the steak but when it arrived was very disappointing, no flavour whatsoever, very bland . We complained and ordered the filet mignon which was a bit better , very tender as a filet mignon Unfortunately unshould be but also found it lacked something . Throughout this whole ordeal our waitress was very nice and understanding. Unfortunately don’t think we’ll be back .

Where to start. The welcome in was great, even the hostess knew what items to eat for vegetarian options which is marvelous. From the appetizer - the cheesy bread was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Salad - hard to mess up a salad but it was good Mac & Cheese - it was so good. Good well, cheesy enough, noodles cook good and it had a wonderful flavor to it. Steak - my buddy got the steak and he was in love. It was moist, juicy, tender and cooked to absolute perfection as you can see in the picture Potato was fantastic Service was wonderful. Food was magnificent. Would highly recommend this place.
Had a fantastic server and wonderful Ahi tuna sandwich for lunch. Server was very friendly and knowledgable about menu. Place was very reserved and well maintained. Reason for the 4 stars was because they were out of ALL draft beers and appeared to be out of every other beer unless it was lager or pale lager (out of brown ales, wheat beers, etc…you know the ones with flavor .)

My roast beef was delicious. However my friends' salmon was over salterd, and our coffee was cold. The server didn't check if we wanted a 2nd drink, we had to ask for water, and my friend who ordered pasta had to ask twice for parmesan. The restaurant was empty, so there was no excuse for an inattentive server.

Mediocre at high price. Tried the bao, wings, poutine and spinach and artichoke dip. Poutine tasted like a fast food poutine doused in gravy. Make sure you bite through the unshredded meat or after the first bite youll be left with no meat. The 5 wings were juicy and very saucy with even more of their house sauce on the side. Better off sticking with the entrees than the apps. Hope it tasted better than it looked. There for a friends birthday - no specials. Hope this helps

Very impressive restaurant with a kind, respectful and a smiling staff. We gave this restaurant a try before going to the cinema next door (literally next door!) and loved our order. I had the Shrimp tempura and garlic bread with cheese while my partner had peppercorn steak. Service was prompt and we both loved our food. Highly recommend this place and I look forward to trying other things on the menu on my next visits.
Appetizers arrived luke warm, waitress had to be flagged down to be able to place our order, sitting around with empty glasses unless we asked for refills, restaurant wasn't busy but still anyone who came in were seated at the table right next to other people, place seemed dark and dingy.

My wife and I had a Valentine's meal at the Fire grill. Our first experience and it was great. I had the rib / chicken combo and my wife had the Roasted beat salad. The food quality was great and slightly less expensive as the Keg. Will definately return again. Waiter was good. All in all and good experience. More
Great place. The food is 4/5 but service and presentation is definitely 10! We did like young Catherine B. She was genuine and polite with us. Tuna tataki is 10/10, boa buns 8(cuz buns were not to soft) fillet minion is 5:(, lobster tail is 9 and list of wines is 10, although Italian wines as always to sour.
Oh my gosh, the food here was nothing short of divine. I went with a party of 10 and no one had a single complain about the meal. There was a staff shortage so please be kind and patient with the servers. I had the chicken pesto and mashed potatoes with some pineapple juice and it was delicious …

I had a craving for prime rib (bœuf au jus) so we decided to tryout this place. We ordered: prime ribs, filet mignon steak and a burger. The filet mignon was good and served medium as requested. The prime rib was served medium-well instead of medium-rare. The burger was ok.
Excellent. Delicious and well-prepared food, positive atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant, helpful and professional staff, and quick and brilliant service. these are the reasons why i want you to visit this place and i will definitely come back to this restaurant again

Great atmosphere. Very open menu, something for everyone. Staff is welcoming and professional. Fantastic service. I have busted here a few times over the years as I travel to Montreal. And have yet to be disappointed in my meal or experience.
We went here for dinner last night, my mother my husband and I. The restaurant was not busy at all, and you can literally count the people there, which on a Saturday night should have been a red flag. I also overheard some of the staff say
Food was amazing, delicious and very flavorful as usual. The restaurant Ran out of Amaretto liquor after my 1st drink, but I did enjoy it. Customer service was 50/50, we were in a large group. Both waiters male and female did their best.
Almost perfect!!? The lighting was the only off-putting aspect for me. Everything else was very impressive. Their prices were on the moderate to medium level but with superb dishes, beef cuts, side orders, etc. We will be coming back!!!
Went for a mid week diner. Very quiet. Nice menu. Decent prices. Service was good. Our steaks were as expected. Cooked right and tasty. Sides were also good. Wine list a little basic and pricy. Would return to try a different item. More
Food was great, for appetizers, my girlfriend had the calamari while I had the caesar salad. It was good, even if the salad came with crispy onions instead of croutons and we couldn't find bacon in the salad. The calamari was slightly

Absolutely hands down the best seafood pasta I've ever had. There were real big pieces of tuna and salmon, accompanied with two very large pieces of jumbo shrimp. For the price you couldn't ask for anything more.
Simply amazing. The roast beef was one of the best I have ever had! Again back at this fine restaurant, what a great roast beef! Certainly a better (and less expensive) roast beef than Rob and Reef!
