I cannot recommend First Citiz enough. I was in contact mainly with Sammy and a little with Julia. Both were very helpful, but I cannot stress enough how pleasurable my interactions with Sammy were. He was helpful from beginning to end, speaks perfect English, and was available for me all the time. By all the time I really mean it, he was responding to my Whatsapp msgs even during his vacation and I had to ask him to enjoy his free time :) I have to say that the whole process wasn't straightforward and there were some impediments along the way, but it was never First Citiz fault and together with them I was able to overcome those. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was Sammy's recommendations for other involved parties, however, he always respected my decision, so, all in all, it's not a real critique either. Even though the whole process is finished now and I'm the happy new owner of my dream place I know that if I have any questions about flats in Berlin or anything else I can just text Sammy and I will get a quick response. If I ever decide to sell my flat I will go with them for sure.

My elderly friend is in the process of selling his Berlin Apartment through First Citiz, he lives in Spain so having to do all of this long distance . Sam from First Citiz has been incredibly helpful from the off...with great knowledge of Berlin and the market Sam found a buyer very quickly , he organised everything ... legalities , notary appointments , inventory , met with the movers and Packers and constantly kept us updated. To say Sam went above and beyond would be an understatement really , very professional throughout , he got a good price for the property and met all of our expectations and beyond. Even meeting my friend in Berlin and assisting him with flights and out of hours calls which was a relief to me as I could not accompany him on this occasion . Im November wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter des Firstcitiz Teams wegen unserer Wohnung , die wir zum verkaufen hatten, kontaktiert. Wir haben einen Vertrag abgeschlossen und haben unsere Wohnung Ihnen übergeben . Das Team ist für die Photos gekommen, hat unsere Sachen entfernt und die Wohnung für die Photos und die Besichtigungen mit Möbel/ Lampen etc . dekoriert. Nach Verkauf der Wohnung, kam das Team hat die Sachen von Firstcitiz mitgenommen aber unsere Sachen sind angeblich verschwunden!!! Leider jetzt 3 Monaten später haben wir von dieser Firm immer noch keine Antwort, wo unsere Sachen sind. Auf jeden Fall wenn Sie eine Wohnung zu verkaufen haben, nicht zu Firstcitiz gehen..

Given I am based in Perth, Australia I expected this would create some logistic challenges but Anna and the team at Citiz managed all issues very professionally and efficiently. Keine Begrüßung, keine Ahnung von den Eigenschaften der Wohnung, keine Idee, welcher Keller dazugehört, jede Frage wurde mit einer Gegenfrage beantwortet. Meine Damen und Herren es ist an der Zeit aufzuwachen: Der Markt hat sich geändert. Für teure Wohnungen gibt es nur noch eine begrenzte Käuferschicht und die kauft nicht mehr einfach so, ohne jede Informationen über die Wohnung. Sechs setzen.

Fantastic Service! Our agent, Albert Hot, introduced himself by inviting us to his office to talk about what we were looking for. Once that was done, he had a place in mind that was perfect for us. Just the right balance between cost, location, size and finish. He then helped us with all the legal works and found us an English speaking notary. He continues to help us with the German documents we receive and is always quick and efficient. The compulsory fee for estate agents in Berlin is high but we feel that Firts Citz work hard to earn it.

We chose FirstCitiz to sell our apartment in Berlin on the basis of their multilingual service. Our agent, Anna, was direct, and very straightforward with her opinions about the apartment and the market, and found two buyers at the asking price within a few weeks. She organised an English speaking notary, liaised with our condominium managing agents and handled all our enquiries promptly and efficiently. A very satisfactory experience.

Très mauvaise expérience. Nous étions intéressés par l'achat d'un bien immobilier. Le prix de l'appartement en question était 20% au dessus des prix du marché. Nous nous en sommes aperçus assez vite, cependant difficile de faire marche arrière avec cette agence. Les agents vous font signer des contrats d'engagement qui n'ont aucune valeur juridique, afin de vous faire payer des frais d'agence. Je ne recommande pas.

I've had a really good experience with FirstCitiz Berlin: Sam and all the team are really proactive, they sold my property in less than a month, from the time we first met. I live abroad and for me it was really useful, time and cost saving to have a team in Berlin that followed all the procedures. I could easily reach them per mail and per telephone every time I had a question. I would really reccomend them!

Anna came to see the flat when I was in Berlin. She explained the process in detail and provided realistic expectations. She was warm and friendly and definitely not pushy. After this I returned to London and the whole process was dealt with via email and messages. The service was super fast and efficient. I got the asking price and the whole process took less than 2.5 months. I would definitely recommend!
