Love First Pres. Rich, meaty Biblical teaching. Diverse congregation-- people of all races, economic status, walks of life, generations. Love the way they do music-- they combine contemporary and traditional, so it's often this cool fusion of drums, electric guitar, orchestra, and the choir. They also regularly use the pipe organ and have hymns. Sometimes there's a bluegrass Sunday! My girls have had a great experience with their children's program and also attend the church's school, City Tree. Also love their ministry to the homeless through Ladle. Beautiful space and community to worship God!

I went to this church several months ago. The church itself was very pretty and the regular service and songs were ok. I was urged to go to a second service -- the same day.-- there was a camera there -- and they never inquired if anyone mined. The pastor was an Asian man who claimed to be a "Doctor" turned "pastor". He said awful things like "maybe God wants you to be asulted." He was rude and commented on females hair. He said "some people just go to church to show off who has the most expensive sneakers." . what a jerk. I should sue him. He seemed like a real j

SINCE 1983, THE LADLE FELLOWSHIP HAS SERVED SAN DIEGO'S HOMELESS COMMUNITY WITH HOT MEALS AND CLOTHING. However, for many people on the streets, the lack of hope is an even greater risk factor than lack of proper food, shelter, and clothing. By sharing God's gospel of grace, and living God's law of love, the Ladle Fellowship gives help and hope to those on the edge of society in our city.

An excellent resource, they serve an excellent multi-course free dinner on Wednesday nights (5:00pm), free brunch on Sunday afternoons (2:00pm), provide free clothing for the indigent and every 2nd Saturday of the month offer a large box FULL of edible commodities to any who request it (9:00am - 10:30am). Very friendly, helpful people.

This place is great! My parents brought me as a child then as a young adult I started to understand and took it seriously, now I help cook for the homeless each Sunday after church and it's something I look forward to all week long. Good feelings ! I'm not here for a long time I'm here for a good time.

Beautiful historical building. Architecture inside and out is gorgeous. We have attended the Resurrection Presbyterian worshipping community for the past few months and reall enjoy it. Biblical teaching is spot on. Love that Communion is celebrated every week.

The church membership is a very loving and caring bunch of people. They have a community outreach program that's helping feed and clothe those that unfortunately have no home. This is what Jesus has said the people of God should do, and they're doing it well.

Before the death of my x employer Mr Chuck Blake and the moving away of some friends. I found it a warm and friendly group. Very protective and enables all to join in. No matter of income level Many of my co workers atend there and that's always good

My home church. Beautiful brick building with magnetic architecture inside. Dr Andrews is an inspirational and dogmatic Pastor. Over 500 parishioners. Two service on Sunday. Contemporary at 8:30am and Formal at 11:00am. God bless!

The worship team is amazing, and so is the Westminster Choir. I like to worship God in this place. I actually graduated in this place, and some other students from the San Diego rescue Mission a month and two weeks ago.

One of the best Palm Sunday Services I have attended to date. Warmly greeted by congregation. Amazing choral and orchestral Lenten music. Scripturally based message. Visiting from East Coast....would highly recommend.

Today I had the pleasure of stopping in here at the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH to be helped out with some clothes and meet some really good people, BOB, MIKE

the church is beautiful a gigantic organ... they play it in the 11 a. m service on Sundays.. they have a great community with many things to do.

I enjoyed this sacred space ! Everyone is welcome ! They feed and clothe the homeless, great blessings and wise wise words. Peace to humankind !

The service is a pretty well pretty good and they have a system for volunteering there ever daycare and at school and a lot of parking

I attended a friend's memorial service at this church. Beautiful downtown facility. Gorgeous organ. Wonderful service for my friend.

There for a rummage sale only. Had a lot of floor space available. The did have access available for disabled patrons.

This church is awesome. Similar to Catholic but not. It's young crowd to middle age. Fun for whole family
