Well I had to see what all the hype was about, I finally went to the five guys burger restaurant wondering if it's just another burger joint or does it live up to all the talk I've been hearing. So as soon as I walked in we were politely greeted and the kitchen is wide open so you could actually observe everything going on which is something I really like and it's kind of hard to hide anything. The place was clean and I have to say inviting. Of course you could smell those juicy patties in the distance and those fresh cut fries being cooked and I have to say it's a very pleasant smell. Being my first time I wanted to look over the menu carefully before I place my order and I was greeted by one of the friendly staff members and if I have any questions and I told her that this was my first visit so she proceeded to explain the menu to me in a very kind unfriendly manner. Once I made my order we sat down to wait for our number to be called which wasn't that long. We picked up our order and sat down and opened up our little treasures. At first glance we looked at the french fries which you could see are freshly cut and I tried one and the flavor just pops as they cook it in peanut oil which gives it an amazing flavor. We opened up our burgers which are wrapped in a very thin piece of tin foil like old school and inspected our burgers and you could see two juicy patties with cheese embroiled into each and all of our toppings meticulously stuffed into our lightly grilled sesame seed encrusted bun. To tell you the truth my first bite I could not believe as the flavors hit my taste buds like electricity going through a power line I had to take a second bite to make sure I was not dreaming and in fact each bite thereafter was a pleasure until I was at my last bite knowing that this little dream was about to end. I have had a lot of burgers in my life but this one by far was the tastiest, it was juicy flavorful and just the right blend to tease my taste buds. My hat is off to these guys on how they are able to put out such a simple Burger but with a different technique that adds so much flavor. I will definitely be coming more often to visit this place and have myself another meal and I will be updating more pictures in the future. I would not recommend the hotdogs. It's just alright, but you're going to be paying 6$ for it when you can get a better hotdog at Costco with a drink for 2.99 The burgers are alright as well. They don't have combos. You pay for everything separate, which ends up costing more. I didn't find these selections to be great either. Seating at that location was limited. Their basic burgers start at 10$ before drinks and sides. I did, however, like their fries. They give use a lot, as in iver filled it and lots where in the bag at the bottom. In my opinion, I've definitely had better burgers else where for the same price or cheaper. That being said, I just didn't find their burgers to be anythung special, especially for what they charge.

This is our favorite location! Five guys does burgers so well and yet it’s simple ingredients, we are always blown away with the incredible taste and freshness of the food. We’ll only pop in for a takeout or delivery from this location but we don’t usually come to sit and eat during rush hour as there are just too many folks that make it crowded in there. We love the atmosphere that the staff create though and really enjoy the quick service!

Food is normally good, just rating this low because I have so much difficulty ordering extra cheese at this location. It's suppose to be free unlimited toppings with a cheeseburger, but they charge you an extra 1.00 for a cheese slice. There's two options on the ordering, "Extra cheese" or "Add cheese". The "extra cheese" option is free, like it's suppose to be. Which they will refuse to add unless you call them out on it which isn't fun for anyone. I really doubt a cheese slice is putting you out of business, why are you so stingy? The economy effects us all, and you should stay true to your business model. I can't count how many times I've ordered from here always getting a different result. 19$ for a burger and fries...

I think Five Guys is definitely a unique burger joint compared to other fast food chains around the city. It still outperforms many of the places in Edmonton, but I believe that it's a bit overpriced for what you actually get. During my most recent visit, I spend $45 for two burgers, a regular Cajun fries and a milkshake with a tip. This price is astonishing for food that is slightly above average quality and taste. Service is alright but nothing special, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is simple but nothing special.

One of my go to places for an amazing burger when I'm wanting to treat myself. Burger patties are juicy and filler/preservative free. The burgers fill my belly up nicely because of all the toppings within as well. Cajun fries are perfectly seasoned and tasty. HUGE serving size. It's a bit more expensive than traditional fast food but well worth it every once in a while to satisfy your burger cravings.

Absolutely love this place. The burgers are great and tasty. The fries are awesome and the restaurant is very generous with how much they give. There are many choices as to what you want to put on your burgers. The milkshake is is delicious, I personally love the mix of peanut butter and chocolate, you can mix and match the flavours on the menu. When you come into the restaurant you can have roasted peanuts at no charge, which means if you have peanut allergy do not come here. The restaurant is clean and tidy and well lit. The washroom is clean also. Been here a bunch of times and have always enjoyed it and will return again.

I tried to order and asked for a little fries and a burger with everything and the lady behind the till didn't know what buttons to touch on the till. Then when I asked for my second order you could tell she was trying to see if any coworkers would help her. I felt bad but also you shouldn't have someone on till if there not ready. I was really craving 5 guys and we normally don't have a problem. She had to restart the order a couple times and she said that she couldn't find the button so she said the fries would come with the seasoning on the side. I said no I would like to be made properly. So we walked out.

Amazing place for either a family dinner or just a place to get a quick bite. The service and people were very polite, and you could see that they were trying their best to make sure the food they were making was just right. The milkshakes and burgers I find the best part of their menu with so much flavor and options. I highly recommend going honestly cause I would again definitely go.

Love their fries most of the time though the Cajun ones are a bit too peppery and not salty enough. The food is overpriced. The lines are long and really slow moving. They took ages to give us our milkshakes even though they didn't have a lot of people waiting for them and they gave us the wrong flavor. They also barely put any whip cream on them. It's also really cold in all their locations and they could use more booths.

They used to have good employees not any more, I called them today for quick order like hamburger( all the way with no cheese meo+ fries I asked to make it crispy, when I stopped to pick up my order the sandwich has nothing inside empty just hamburger meet and nothing else the fries was burned out ? Like 5 or 6 people work they can't make right,order I drove back ask for fix my order then the give my same sandwich with adding the vegetable and no Ketchup or mustard it's like what's going on with you 5 guy's the fries was burned and not even large size. I hope someone will explain it to me

*Food* The burger is not as good as I expected, the fries portion is big but the taste is not as good. The peanuts they serve are really good. Overall, I don't regret eating there but would go somewhere else next time I'm craving a burger. Absolutely horrible service. Ordered online and went to order pick up in the store. Staff kept walking by and never acknowledging me. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for an order that was ready when I originally got there. So I got cold burger and hot fries. Staff need to pay attention and actually acknowledge customers when they arrive and ask what they are there for. I recommend replacing Staff you have. Better yet, if you are a potential customer, go somewhere else to eat. Other than this joke of a place

What can I say, Five Guys. My go to burger joint. I just really love the burgers and the large selection of toppings you can choose from! Remember to get the Cajun Fries, because they are the best tasting fries out there. Especially when the cut and fry thier own fries in house! Now the Food and Service is only a 4 because I've been to multiple and it hasn't been the best, but it also hasn't been the worst. It definitely is much better than any other "fast food" joint. At first I was planning on preordering my take out but the online order only accepted credit card and no option of paying when picking up. This place is worth every single star! Fast, efficient, friendly staff, spacious dining area and their food is AMAZING! Oh my gosh! Can't get over their portions sizes (especially the fries!), and the taste; their vanilla milkshake is also one of the best I've had in a long time! The hype around this place is definitely not an exaggeration! Stop by if you have the time or if you're in the area!

Always a great stop when I go to the city. Sometimes, the service is a bit slow, but typically, when they are getting slammed by many customers at once. They handle themselves well and, if anything, need a couple more employees during the rush times. Other than that, it is typically very well done, and food is always fresh and good.

I love their cheeseburgers - one of the best in Edmonton. You should also try one of their milkshakes. Food is good, prepared in front of your eyes, the shop is hygienic. I usually do take outs but there is plenty of space available to dine-in.

Staff are very friendly and professional. Food is high quality and made to perfection. However, the speed is quite slow since they make patties by hand and are cooked to order. They offer free peanuts and no combos. Everything on the menu is separately ordered. Also, toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, and sauce is free, just like Subway.

Good food and service. Decent food and good for Gluten Free diets. The amount of fries you get are enormous and really good.

We’ve ordered their BLT online through Skip and had added caramelized onion but when we got the sandwich there was no lettuce or tomato! How could it be a BLT without lettuce and tomatoes?! Sandwich was so salty because it was just bacon and the onions. So disappointed and their sandwiches aren’t exactly cheap.

Great burger, fires were spiced perfectly. Sadly no hotdogs to try out when we went . The bacon cheeseburger was good though.

Hands down still the best milkshake in town -but please don't run out of peanut butter again. It's a sin! Heard alot about this place so had to try it. Ordered little cheese burger with regular fries. Not too impressed with flavor. Also disappointed to see hot plate and not a grill. Found it abit too expensive. Service was ok.

This was my first time trying Five Guys and it's now my favorite place for burgers and fries! Everything came out hot and fresh, staff were friendly, restaurant was clean. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back.

I got the baconator with a large fry and it was super good. The fries that came with my order where double-sized which was great and everything tasted on top.

Haven't been to a Five Guys in a couple years, the fries still hit amazingly, the burgers have always been alright for me, overall it was a good cheat meal
