This bar is si beautiful and with a really good vibe and the location is great. I went to the bar to see this place and the staff is cordial and friendly. My only issue (that’s why I’m taking one star away) was paying over $16 for a drink (Gabriel) that in the menu says “Hendricks gin” and they give you house gin is outrageous.
I love it here. I made it my regular spot. Maddie makes me feel so welcomed and loved. She serves with her heart and soul. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is a perfect combination of fun and calm. Thank you again Maddie for the wonderful experience. Highly recommended More
I've been wanting to visit this place FOREVER and my husband surprised me with a date night. There's such a beautiful intimate setting here. The atmosphere is amazing and the champagne is fantastic they have many brands and flavors. Its the perfect place for a date night!
I went for a mixology class and it was so much fun. George and Eric are the best! We made three different drinks, got a bunch of photos and videos, and had the time of our lives. I would definitely recommend doing this with a group of friends.
I had an odd experience here. The design of this speakeasy-inspired spot in a basement is pretty charming. It’s dark and cozy and lit by warm-toned lighting and candlelight. The drink menu was well thought out and reasonably priced for this
I wish I could give the service here ten stars instead of just five. Maddy was so absolutely amazing. Words cannot express how special she made us feel, giving us an in depth look at the history of the bar, walking us through the menu, and
Perhap's we came on the wrong night. It was a Monday night, after a concert at Carnegie Hall. Ambiance was great, although loud hip hop music as one of the options doesn't say "Speak Easy" some music tracks were very fitting for the place.
This is a cute little hidden gem with its prohibition era vibe. Everything feels dark and secretive here since you can sit in these booths surrounded by heavy curtains. It’s a great place to come if you want talk and catch up. I heard it
The WORST customer service. I tried to visit with my friend as we saw they had a booth outside that was open and heated. When we went inside to ask to be seated there, one of the women by the bar yelled “I ain’t got no jacket on and it’s
I liked it until I received my check. It wasn't the cost. It was their failure to mention they added a 20% gratuity, and under the very low lighting, it was difficult to see. I began to leave a tip when I realized my check seemed a bit
Heard about The Flute while on a Prohibition tour with @Telltale Tours it wasn't on the itinerary for the night. We decided to go another night on our own. So glad we did. On the sight of an original Speakeasy from the 20's the current
The place is quite nice - however I feel forced to put one star because I have never treated so poorly - the barman has been extremely impolite to all the participants of the night, and at times he was aggressive and verbally abusive.
Nice atmosphere, ok service. had a champagne tasting which was somewhat pricey, would have liked a smaller pour size and lower price point. The wines for the tasting were ok, somewhat typical of their varietal and style.
We visited Flute bar on August 13th for my Birthday celebration in a party of 9 people. We had a private mixology class at the venue that we arranged in advance and paid in full for everyone in our party.
Nice fairly romantic spot but too cramped, bad lighting and terrible music. The bartenders are the WORST I HAVE EVER been attended to. Such bad attitudes. They'd rather do side work than get your drink.
I love this place. Great soft jazzy music, dark lighting, definitely best place to go on a date or to just chill and relax on a hard day. Excellent service quality food and love the sparkling wine.
Loved it! We went there for a Mixology class and it was great! George is very knowledgeable. The class was filled with lots of laughter and learning! Can't wait to try the orange peel trick
We did a mixology class with Eric and he was very knowledgeable and even let us change the final drink we made to one of our own choosing! (Espresso martinis and they were delicious!)
Great hidden gem! Not truly hidden but does have an old speakeasy feel! Great decor, full bar and large selection of champagne (duh)! Staff goes above and beyond! …
What a wonderful place - the history, the drinks and George! He even shared how to make our favorite cocktail. We loved everything about the Flute bar! More
The drinks were great, the atmosphere perfect. I will definitely come back here with my wife to enjoy the drinks in a great and cozy atmosphere. More
Lots of sofas and niches to chill out in as well as a classic bar. Had the quesadilla and the crudites, everything seemed fresh and made to order.
Cute Champagne bar in Midtown. Our service was slow to get started, but our server absolutely made up for it with his great personality.
Came here with my work and we had a wonderful time! Great and polite service, the music was fun! Will be coming back again! More
Overall it was a good experience. I went on a Wednesday for the jazz show. The drinks were ok and we didn't have any food. More
