Buying and sending flowers is something that needs a little bit of time and care but also may require some guidance and advice devoted to it, after all it is an important purchase... We researched the area of Sutton for reputable florists before selecting FlowerScent, with some knowledge around florist ourselves we know that good customer service is essential - we were looking for a friendly and professional approach as this is important! We read the reviews for this business before telephoning them but as soon as we made the call we knew that the person taking our order 'Joyce' was the right person for us to buy our flowers from. We have never met this charming lady who runs the business, all our dealings were via the telephone, but what a wonderful person she is - she has an amazing energy and is obviously passionate about the floral business - she is the type of person who would always give you her best - truly lovely. Finally we can say that we are not relatives nor are we friends, we will however be a repeat customers when we need to order flowers in this area again.. Flowerscent did not ask me to write a review and it is something we do not do that often but this company deserves a mention, thank you for you prompt attention, your kind advice around selecting the right flowers and for offering us an indication for the deliver of our important purchase... a splendid service and someone who we will gladly recommend to the future..

I found this florist through Google and must admit the fact they had a one star review posted only a week ago did put a bit of doubt in my mind so I thought it only fair to share my experience. I have no connection to this company other than as a customer. I phoned up for a bouquet for mother's day. The woman I spoke to was polite and helpful, she asked if there were any particular flowers or colours I wanted in the bouquet, took all the details and promised me the flowers would be delivered on the day. Mother's day arrived and I received a photo of the flowers along with the following message from my mum: "Thank you so much for the lovely flowers! They're amazing! I've had to put them in the champagne bucket - it's the only thing big enough to contain them! xxx" I can't really ask for more than that from a florist. Very happy, would use again.

Wow …… I’ve ordered spontaneously over the years for my wife and have often received terrible flowers, let’s face it …. It’s a little hit and miss when you’re not familiar with the florist. However, I’ve been absolutely blown away! From the point of ordering, the very polite lady that took my order sounded amazingly happy and upbeat, you could actually sense her smile from the telephone call. And the flowers, I’m lost for words…. They were so fresh, vibrant and just looked amazing, even a strapping man like me can appreciate quality flowers, presentation and good old customer service. It's places like this, where 5 stars just aren't enough! My partner and I visited Flower Scents by chance for funeral flowers as it was near to the funeral home and we needed something last minute. Joyce could not have done more to help us, not only by providing the most beautiful, fresh, bouquet, but also by lifting our spirits in such a tough time and echoing our thoughts beautifully in the floral tribute she created for us there and then. I cannot recommend highly enough, and only wish I lived closer so that I could visit every time I need fresh flowers. A wonderful, local business with an extra personal touch. Thank You, Joyce.

The company was recommended to me as the best in Sutton but the costumer service was so poor it makes me the reviews are from friends and family who are coaxed / obligated to write. I'm currently travelling and asked for a picture of the bouquet they were sending out as I didn't have access to their website at the time of ordering. I was told this was something they were not comfortable doing! I honestly thought this was something so straightforward that I have done on so many occasions without any problems. Wasn't able to send flowers on a very special birthday. Very disappointing service.

My daughter walked in with some beautiful flowers for me on Mothering Sunday. She had bought them from Flower Scents, next to Sutton Station. I never write reviews but these were the best flowers I have seen for a long time and were so fresh that they are still in they're vase today. She said the display of flowers always look beautiful as she passes the florist everyday. I was so impressed with them, that I ordered some today for a friend which were equally as impressive. Really Impressed by the lovely friendly service when I called from France to order flowers to be delivered locally to an acquaintance of my Mum’s who was just out of hospital. As I don’t know much about the friend I gave the few details I had and was comforted when the lovely lady said ‘Don’t worry, I know what to do!’ I was also impressed when she knew that lilies and cats don’t mix and shouldn’t go to this cat owner! A cheerful bouquet was delivered the same afternoon. Always go local folks, these lovely people deserve your custom.

At such an upsetting time, the kind and caring gentlemen in the florists helped me select a suitable floral casket for my mother’s funeral; enquired what my mother’s favourite flowers were so they could be included in the floral arrangement. The best florist in Sutton :) In a very good location, by the station, I had a bouquet made up yesterday. The choice of flowers just wonderful and exotic....so beautiful. Much better value and very different (in a great way), to the general run of the mill arrangements you can buy from high street - M&S, Morissons, ASDA etc., Great and friendly customer service tops an all round brilliant service and final product. The lady I spoke to at Flower Scents, Joyce, is delightful! I called from abroad explaining that I wanted to have a bouquet delivered the same afternoon to my partner for our anniversary. I told her a bit about us, where we both come from, etc., and she said she'd go to town on the bouquet and make it really colourful and special, and deliver it personally. She did exactly as she had promised and my partner was over the moon upon receiving it! Absolutely first-rate service! It made our day!

Flowerscents did the most beautiful arrangement for my Nanny's funeral. Not only that, but Joyce (same as my Nanny's name) was so comforting and kind whilst I was struggling to process her loss. Not only where the flowers beautiful, not only was Joyce lovely, but she gave my Mum a book to give to me with a beautiful message inside. I highly rate this florist, as a stylist I am always on the lookout for independent florists that have a varied selection of seasonal and contemporary flowers to use in my displays. I love this little oasis and always feel uplifted by Joyce who creates wonderful bouquets with my selection. My husband popped in as i was in The Marsden having a lumpectomy. Joyce was so kind and put together the most amazing bunch of flowers. I can not recommend this florist highly enough. The 4ft blue and white floral display made for the top of my mum's coffin was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. ...Thanks are just not enough .Thanks for the advice and sourcing the beautiful blue roses as they are not run of the mill!. Didn't get beyond the phone call when arranging for flowers for a funeral ....... Abrupt lady on phone, seemed interested in getting me off the phone, thankfully it was me and not my Mum who called who would have been left in tears. Not the way to handle any call, let alone one regarding funeral flowers. "Call back when I have made my mind up" ......I don't think I'll be calling again!

Extremely friendly and helpful service. The flowers were delivered on time and in person to my girlfriend, and the bouquet was beautiful. I live in Ireland and my mum lives in Sutton. I brought my mum a bouquet from flowerscents and I have to say for the money I was blown away that was four years ago. I always get them from here now and my sister does. The owner is a lovely lady and always remembers me. Today she didn't let me down my mum loved them. So if you want beautiful flowers from the heart but from here.

Incredibly amazing service! Was let down on the day of delivery by an online florist! And contacted this beautiful place late in the day to beg for a same day delivery....absolutely no need to worry-they we’re calming and on point with what I needed and delivered the best bouquet that afternoon! Went to this store to get a symphony card for my flowers as my florist didn't give us enough cards. Asked to buy a few cards for flowers I was told they wouldn't sele them separately are you f .....king serious a £ 0.50p card and you don't want to sele me a card .on that note don,t bother with this place no compassion no help not what a florist should behave

The location of the florist is brilliant! I work in London and always get off at Sutton station, as I'm walking out of the train station there is always a wide variety of flowers ranging from bouquets to individual rare flowers. I can quickly buy some beautiful flowers whilst passing by. This shop is so convenient.

My brother and I were greeted with big smiles and fantastic customer service. The florist recommended a flower selection/combination for our occasion which was greatly appreciated - as my brother and I had no clue. I use this florist everytime i can the main boss and the workers are always helpful and polite. I have never walked away feeling that i have not got my moneys worth as you do on others (the feeling of is that it) and i will continue to travel here from where ever i am to buy my flowers from here.
