Rebecca Mason is by far the worst manager/owner that I've ever come across in the service industry. Today we went out to celebrate a birthday and decided to visit a nearby bakery in midtown. We had outside visitors from New York and Dallas and wanted to take them to a local place to enjoy some treats. The moment we walked into Rebecca's pastry bar her face went completely numb! It was 7 of us and 1 toddler. My child has never been to a pastry store so I was super excited for her. Rebecca NEVER greeted us and we literally had to force her to engage in us while we were ordering. We told her we had never been their and expressed that it was our first time. She stood at the ordering section with one arm extended on the counter while the other dangling to her side. CLEARLY we had interrupted her lunch which was fried chicken and biscuits. How did we know she was eating lunch? Easy- her food was laid out in a complete mess on the tables in the front of the store. So when we walked in that's what she was doing- eating. Of course she had a friend with her, but I guess when you're the owner and a world renowned pastry "chef" it's expected that your customers witness you stuffing your face with greasy chicken. She was completely uninterested in serving us. She was totally disconnected with every question that we brought to her. We asked what type of coffees did she serve and what was the most popular and she just pointed to the menu and said what ever is up their. We wanted a shake that was on the menu and with an attitude she said she didn't have vanilla ice cream. As we continued to try to give her a chance to treat us like paying customers she grew upset and annoyed and started to become disrespectful. She proceeded to ask us if we wanted anything else. You would have thought she had others in line but no. We were the only people in the store. So why were we rushed? The birthday girl felt very uncomfortable and requested that we leave. We waited for our friend to finish preparing her coffee. As that happened the other sister wondered why we weren't ordering anything and when we told her she agreed that Rebecca had an attitude or a concern about serving us so she asked to just have her money back and we will go elsewhere. To a place where we are welcomed. At that point before we could even leave the store Rebecca was already siting back down engaging in her fried chicken. Our friend mentioned that she felt as though we were being treated differently to another worker and Rebecca heard her. So she stood up and confronted her with the worst tone and attitude that I've ever experienced. Her body language said it all. We honestly thought Rebecca was going to hit our friend so we walked back into the store to stop things from escalating. That's when Rebecca began to get loud and demand that she left and to never return. We wanted to just leave the items and Rebecca insisted that we took them and tried to throw them along with the receipt at us. What a complete embarrassment to our friends. I hope I have the chance to go back to her store and tell someone in person about our experience.
Yes here she is, the most rudest and unprofessional business manager/owner that I have come across in my life!!! Our family was looking for a nice welcoming atmosphere to go to with our kids and enjoy a nice dessert. My brother looked online & thought we’d enjoy this place, it displayed good ratings. To our surprise the ratings were way off track.. From the time that we walked in, the cold shoulder, look, and non-welcoming was in the air. She was sitting at a table on her laptop with three additional chairs not being used. We asked if we could use the 3 non-occupied chairs. If looks to kill I probably wouldn’t be writing this rating. Rather than her getting up as a manager or business owner and say absolutely here you go and here’s my seat as well, welcome and please enjoy your visit. Her reply was, well these seats are for Customers that come in and to have somewhere to seat. My reply was, well we’re customers and we like to have somewhere to sit. She so rudely replied, well I guess. As other customers came in she was so welcoming, inviting and started conversations with them. That’s when I knew this business owner/manager was not only rude but racist. As Caucasian families came in, she was very welcoming, started conversations with them and completely ignored my family and I, which are Hispanic, nor did she acknowledge the two African-American families that came in. I most definitely would NOT recommend this place and if there was anything lower than a one or a zero that would be my rating for Becky ..
Love the treats here but the customer service for curbside is lacking. I’m 9 months pregnant, and all I wanted today was these dang cookies. I placed a order this morning and paid, order would be ready for pickup at 12:30, perfect. When we go to pick up the cookies I call for curbside and she tells me (pretty passive aggressively/rudely I might add) they will bring out or order AFTER ALL THE PEOPLE in the store are helped... so we waited for 10 minutes.... people keep showing up and we never get helped...call again and she says your welcome to come get it...great... Um ok that’s defeats the purpose of curbside...they do not have paved parking lot, it’s a literal mud pit due to rain, my husband has to tromp through the mud and go inside, around a bunch of people when we are trying to avoid people due to covid in the first place. Then I get to hold my husband’s mud caked shoes all the way home so it doesn’t get all over my car floor. This whole experience was literally ridiculous. Don’t offer curbside if you’re going to be rude and unhelpful about it. Really unimpressed.
This is a review of this establishment’s “customer service” only... Wow! So I pulled into the parking lot of this place to text a friend if she wanted to try this bakery out. While I was pulling in, an older lady walked out with a gentleman who then got into his car. The lady then walked to my car and when I rolled down the window, she asked if I needed help. I told her I was speaking to a friend and before I could say another word, she pointed to a “Customer parking only, Tow away” sign and rudely stated, “Don’t you see that sign? You need to leave now.” Obviously, this was a sign to me that I should never patronize this business. I rarely ever resort to this, but it did cross my mind that perhaps she treated me this way because I’m Asian (I was in my vehicle so I didn’t have a mask on when she approached my car window). If you choose to patronize this place, I hope you don’t receive the treatment I did.
The cookies here are pretty darn good! Freshly house-made cookies with unique flavors and humorous names. One down-size is the limited parking in Midtown. Meter parking, street parking, or paid parking garage around the area. Fluff bake bar is a small bake shop that also serve ice cream with coffee and tea. You can get your ice cream sandwiched between two cookies of your choice. Their ice cream is also house-made. The vanilla ice cream was very creamy and went perfectly with my Neapolitan and snickerdoodle cookies. Can be easily shared among two people. Their cookies are bigger than your average cookies. The staff were friendly and provided recommendations when we didn't know what to pick from their abundant choices. They also have these "day old cookies", comes in 3 assorted cookies for $3. Another favorite cookie of mine was couch potato. I wouldn't mind coming back again for some more cookies!
Got here as soon as I could this weekend, after just opening last week it was not as overwhelmingly crowded as I expected it to be. Apparently Saturday mornings and early afternoon are the calm before the storm in this midtown strip. The visibility into the kitchen is a great way to enter the space and grow excitement for the treats to come. The selection was vast and difficult to choose just one. It's true that I didn't have to choose just one, but I wanted to save some reasons to come back! I ended up sharing the Veruca Salt cake with my girlfriend, it was delicious. Other items at my table were the Couch Potato cookie and the Carrot Cake. Both incredible options. I would recommend any of the above. The space is light and bright and comfortable. The service was helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot wait to return for an indulgent evening and have a glass of wine with my dessert.
The lemon pound cake tasted great and the cookies were tasty but my experience was tainted by the rudeness. I saw the reviews and decided to come here but it started raining and a friend had just gotten into an accident so I parked outside for a bit while I spoke to them. 5 minutes in this lady comes to the door and just stares at me coldly. Mind you, I’m in a white car with NO tint at all so she could clearly see me but she decided to make me feel like I was some pest. I understand that they probably assumed I was loitering and I don’t want to assume that was the case because of my race but even when I entered to order they kind of gave me the cold shoulder and didn’t even thank me or apologize. I don’t even know what they assumed I was doing? Do they think people just sit outside of small stores in untinted white cars where everyone can see them for fun nowadays!
We walked in and the MANAGER gave me the worst service I have ever had at a public place!! I came in to try a new dessert place with my friends and family and this is by far the very worst place. The manager was rude and had a negative demeanor the second we came in. She was very rude and sarcastic everytime we asked a question about the menu! The cookies and other menu options are all very dry and old looking and they are clearly not prepared for more than one customer at a time! Please dont waist your time on this spot.. Def. Not worth it. We ended up walking down to Cocos crepes and desserts and it was awesome!!! Great service, great food!! :-) :-) It is so sad to see that the owner is willing to go back and forth with a customer in a negative way instead of trying to create a great experience for each customer..
Walk-in welcome was very dry. Items were not handed to you unless you paid. Manager (Becky) was sitting at one of the tables on her laptop. Seemed very inconvenienced by our presence. We were a family of 9 looking to dine in. She told us we would have to surrender our chairs if someone else wanted to sit down. Which we did not understand if we were paying customers as well. When we asked if we could pull the chairs from her table, she reluctantly said yes I guess. As other customers walked in she (Becky) was very welcoming to them. I hate that I have to mention we’re a Hispanic family, other family’s walking in at the time were Caucasian. I would not recommend this location due to their poor customer service. We elected to dine in just to irritate her with our presence. If I could give a zero rating I would!!!
Family, friends, and I went to visit and experience their treats for the first time. My sister and I went to ask the woman at the counter a few questions about the menu. Her answers were very short. Her attitude seemed as though she didn't want to service us. A few others within my group acknowledged this due to her body language. My group decided this wasn't the place for us and began to exit the establishment. This is when things took a turn for the worst. I told the woman **Rebecca** that her disposition lead to us not wanting to support the store. Her response was "well, this is me!" Feeling displeased I asked for a refund. She told me to get out her store, NEVER return, threw my recipe at me, even tried to throw my refunded items at me. This place is a NO GO!!! Stay far away, especially from REBECCA!!!!
I placed an order with the Heights location and after 2 confirmation text messages I arrive at the location only to be told that they are located across town due to reconstruction. How about you communicate this information on your website or via text message to customers placing orders. All I received from Fluff text message was that there were 2 locations for pickup but didn't state which one was the one I was suppose to pick up my order. Not only was I the only customer waiting at the original location, but there was another customer who parked in 15th street confused about the whole thing.Horrible management. And all I received in response was "No we are in Greenway." No real apology or anything . Your apology seemed flippant and quite frankly unprofessional response for the review. Thanks.
Racism at its finest! Will never go here again. The treats were okay, much like that of over priced cookies at Crumble, at least Crumble gives you warm fresh cookies. As me and my family tried to sit (party of 9) was given such horrible attitude about wanting an unoccupied chair. I could maybe understand if there were other ppl trying to sit as well, but it was just us at the time. Maybe that is why the owner/supervisor, Becky, felt so bold in her actions, IDk. To add insult almost every customer (Caucasian)s, that came in about 15minutes later were greeted with friendly smiles and Welcomes. What is wrong with people these days. She didn't even offer other options for seating, she seemed so bothered with our presence. I'm sorry I even spent money there. (2nd to last to pay for our items).
A little bit hard to find(just go right past bagby street, it's on the left), but I was happy when I arrived. I walked in around 12:30 pm expecting a crowded space, but to my surprise no one was there. A man politely greeted me and helped me choose a dessert (sadly they were out of the verruca salt cupcake), by I got a couch potato and pumpkin whoopie pie. The couch potato had good flavor, but was kind of dry and seemed old. The whoopie however was AMAZING! If you like that cinnamon pumpkin taste in a moist cake with smooth cream filling, I highly recommend! Service was nice, pretty average price (cheap-y, $2-3 for cookies, $5 for cupcakes/cake), and nice seating, so I will give it a 4.5/5. Stay in stock though!
Fun, cute, whimsy, tasty little bake shop. We've been here a handfull of times now. Had the smores cookie, couch potato cookie, brownie with cookie dough on top, which is still my favorite. Hot chocolate cheesecake, easily my second favorite. The smores brownie, an always classic and the SHo cookie if u like oreos. The lemon tart is probably the only thing we were displeased with. The filling was lemony and tasty but for some reason the crust tasted like chicken noodle soup. As if the tarts were made and then stored in the fridge with someone's lunch leftovers. I'd be willing to give it another chance but there are too many good things on the menu for me to chance it.
So we ordered a carrot cake for a birthday (24 hr advance special order), here's the good news, the cake was worth the wait, it was rich and delicious, best I have ever had and right next door. Bad news is I called today to see if maybe they had any carrot cake available at the moment but the lady that picked up the phone, I suppose the owner, talked to me like I didn't understand English, not friendly at all, just plain rude. I am willing to actually drive and find a not so good carrot cake rather than getting that kind of customer service, especially from the owner. It's a shame.
I am giving this a two star because the bakery is delicious but the owner is horrible! I really think she is bipolar. Sometimes you go in and she is nice, but I would say 90% of the time she is a very grumpy. Rude, no smiling, no "hello", no nothing. She forgets why she is in business! Without customers she will not have a business yet she treats her customers like they are a nuisance. Again, her baked goods are delicious yet because of her nasty "you are bothering me" attitude, I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. She actually looks mad when you enter the door!
My granddaughter and I visited the bakery today. While everything is delicious and unique and we loved the choices I have to disagree on the service and friendliness. The young lady that waited on us was very nice. However, the owner was seated behind the counter on her computer and barely looked up. I spoke to her about how unique the couch potato cookie was and I received a flippant answer, “ you can’t reinvent the wheel just improve on it” and went back to her computer. We drove in from Katy based on the reviews. I won’t make the trip again.
Very nice local bakery. I’ll be back! Too many delicious looking options to choose from but I got the lemon tart and butter cookie and meant to take a picture to post with the review, but ate them both in the car before I got home bc they were so good lol

Divine! II had a hard time choosing between all the delicious creations. I bought the carrot cake with hazelnut in a pot on the recommendation of the staff, and oh my goodness was it delectable. Also tried the hobnob for old times sake and while it didn't blow me away it was still good. The really impressive item though was the rice crispie chocolate chewy bar with sea salt...words cannot describe how happy it made me. I am now plotting ways I can build in as many stops at Fluff as possible before I leave Houston!
Once you have Fluff Bake Bar your standards will be changed forever! I absolutely love the new location and it just feels like it's exactly where it should be. The desserts are impeccable and I don't think I've ever had anything that wasn't absolutely stellar. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. My hubby and I got the little cakes in a cup and it's the perfect size and flavor. The cookies are delicious, thick, chewy and perfect. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this place if you haven't already.
Somehow we just found out about Fluff and boy were we missing out! We have only tried a half dozen cookies (so far) and they have all been amazing. The couch potato was my favorite but the cosmic brownie was a close second. Do yourself a favor and go get some goodies. You won’t be disappointed.

I placed an order for birthday treats for a coworker. Ordering was easy- even got a quick email back to clarify something just in case. My order was ready exactly when I’d requested it and packed up neatly. Most importantly, everything was delicious. We had to cut everything into pieces because no one could decide on just one dessert. The favorites were the brownies and the strawberry lemon cake. The cup cakes also made things super easy at an office. I’ll definitely be visiting Fluff Bake Bar again!
Omg the trillionare cookie, the gooey butter cookie … seriously all the cookies and brownies are SO well baked and presented wonderfully. Service was great even though we showed up almost at close. Love this bakery and thankful they are in the neighborhood

I have been here probably about 6 times. The only issue is their customer service. It's terrible!!! The employees are not friendly and for the price that you are paying you expect more. We purchase a whole cake plus drinks and when asked for one candle they wanted $4 for a whole package of candles(that cost $1 at CVS)!! That's been greedy after we spent more than $50 on a 6 inch cake and drinks. I doubt that we will be back. We will take our money somewhere else where customer service is better.
Cute little place in a residential area. Parking lot is not great and should be paved. Staff was friendly. I had asked the gentleman who helped me if he would change his glove before picking up my food and an older woman in the back looked at me like I asked him for the money in the cash register. There was nothing gooey about the gooey butter cookie, but it was very good. Not too sweet which I liked. Call me maybe brownie was very sweet, but it was good too especially the blonde brownie crust.
It's a cute little bakery with a very cute bathroom. The chocolate chip cookie was to die for. Huge and very fluffy. The brownie, Oreo sandwich and some other thing we tried was meh. Way to Sweet. They serve alcoholic beverages so there's something different. The staff is really disconnected. They make you feel as if your a bother, so you feel rushed. No smile or hi or have a nice day. But oh well , I'll go back for a cookie and they also have ice cream concoctions I'd like you try.
Cute little place. Very friendly staff. Clean display. I appreciated all the names with the selections. We got tea cake with berries, unicorn cookie, fluffy butter cookie, lemon pound cake and a sugar cookie. Prices are economical. But the best part everything tasted delicious!!! We were full after a breakfast but still ate everything, it was that good!! They had a couple of tables outside but no seating inside yet. Didn’t matter. We took the things to go. Must try!!
Fluff Bake Bar created three wonderful "naked" cakes for our wedding at the Houston Heights Fire House. THEY. WERE. DELICIOUS. We got the chocolate pretzel, the red velvet, and the seasonal PB&J cake. The owner was very nice to us, accommodated our budget, and provided us with three amazing cakes. She was so knowledgeable and creative as well! I had a wonderful experience and recommend Fluff Bake Bar to any bride out there. You won't be disappointed!
Had been wanting to come here and finally made it here. Got whoopie birthday pie, lemon pound cake, coconut macaroon, and snickerdoodle cookie. The sweets all were very yummy. The sweets were all moist and fluffy (like the shop's name) so we liked that. The coconut macaroon was maybe less moist compared to other items because there was lots of coconut in it. Service was fast and friendly. They had many appealing treats so we want to come back.
The owner Is very rude and talk to people Any kind of way. I would not recommend you to go. She wanted me to move my car then when I came inside she started looking crazy like blacks are not allowed. As everyone else that's not of color came in she treated them so kindly with respect. On top of that she told me to leave. So don't do business there at all. Follow me for more updates!!!

I thought I had misread the situation or that I was being sensitive but I just left the bakery empty handed and uninterested. I felt like a pest just asking for a cake to be made for my S/O. I ended up getting what I wanted from Kroger, a cake with message written in frosting on top with little hearts (tacky but fun). I really wanted to work with a local shop on this but they were so rude and did not seem to want my business.
I’m giving this place 2 stars because of their staff, lady that served me was unapproachable and seemed like she didn’t want to b there, what a turn off. I got their oatmeal n chocolate chip cookie and it was not as soft as it should be and it tasted okay but nothing special. I also tried their carrot cake and it was really pretty but didn’t taste all that, it did have a crunch to it that was unique but that’s about it.
Tried out Fluff Bake Bar this weekend. This was definitely worth the trip!! I loved the cake jars and my pup loved the dog biscuit. All the desserts I tried were perfect! The staff is extremely helpful especially Rebecca's mom. Even though its a drive for me, its definitely worth taking the trip to the Heights. I also like the new location. Parking is a lot easier here then the old location. Can't wait to go back!
I really appreciated the staff and the uniqueness of the pastries here. Though this place may seem small, there is quite a lot of space outdoors in the back and a decent room to sit if you prefer indoors. I had the Cap'n Crunch corn cookie at the suggestion of a staff member and it was absolutely delicious. I really hope more people find out about this place because all the good attention it gets is well-deserved.
Spotted this gem bakery store...randomly ordered the so called 'couch potato cookie' (the photo with half eaten)...don't know what it is...and also the chocolate pecan Tart which is packed with pecan...they both tastes really good...super cunchy and nutty...just enough portion and just enough sweetness...would definitely come back again to try others...I would gladly recommend this bakery if you like cookies :)
Visited for the first and LAST time today. I was so excited to find a new gem in my neighborhood but the older lady who served me quickly wiped that smile right off my face. I'm one of those people who buys a lot to try when I first visit a new place. However, I purchased one thing and quickly removed myself from her presence. It was very unwelcoming. Somber, silent not FLUFFY at all. The dessert was ok..
Desserts were delicious, especially the cookies. It's a cool little shop that has a bunch of options. Many options appear to be traditional desserts at first glance, but when you look at the ingredients (labeled on the signs for each option), you see that they are gourmet, using unique ingredients such as bacon and spices. The people who work there are very nice and will help you make a good decision!
Totally worth it! Service was great. Cookies are incredible. The mint icecream was the best I've ever had and I don't just say that to all the girls! All those people that wrote bad reviews need to get a life. This place is not about the parking... it's about delicious treats! I respect all people that have an idea that turn into something like this place. Compliments and recommendations all around!
We try and make it to the Bake Sale every Saturday because there's always something new and interesting to try. She partners with different chefs/restaurants all the time for the feature godies! I had the Smoked Chicken Salad Croissant sandwich and it was a TRUE blessing! So good! Sorry, no pics! I say everyone should check out Fluff! She posts the Bake Sale menu on Instagram every week!
Wow after coming here for the first time, this will be the last. This place needs customer service training. I was never thanked for my large purchase, and they kept trying to rush me when no one was there! The older lady is extremely rude. I would not recommend this place. The treats were good but not worth my weekly support. Support small businesses that appreciate their customers.
Note: Do not follow the directions through Google Maps, type in the address on Gray Street manually. Everything was great! We tried some macarons, Couch Potato cookies, and two cup/cakes (the cupcakes are literally in cups and are fantastic). The flavors were complex and elevated, but definitely were approachable. My only regret is the distance it takes from my home to get there!!!
My husband and I LOVE Fluff Bake Bar. It is our go-to place for cakes and baked goods. We ordered individually wrapped couch potato cookies for our wedding favors and it was a huge hit; everyone couldn't stop talking about how good they were. Communication was fantastic with ordering via email, I highly recommend going to them for big events :) Thank you so much Fluff Bake Bar!
Recently went here for the first time. Friendly owner and staff. My 3 year is like a cute Dennis the menace but with less menace and they instantly took to him and offered him a treat. Love their variety of unique treats. I bought quite a bit of thing because of my daughters birthday and she love snacks so i figured this would be something cool to do. I was a hit with her.
What a cute small bakery! They have many options as well: ice cream, milkshake, coffee, tea, cakes, cookies, and more! I tried some interesting cookies: couch potatoes (really good, sweet and salty), the passion fruit (a bit too sweet for me), and the chocolate peanut butter (delicious). It was my first time and the staff was kind to answer any questions I had.
No better bakery or dessert shop in Houston or North America for that matter. I love the owner and seeing her in the store everytime I visit. The range from cookies to pastries to brownies to ice cream to new takes on classic treats is incredible. Take someone on a date here and eat out front at a table or stock up for the week with a massive box—we did both.
This place is adorable and such a great variety of creative desserts. I ordered the couch potato cookie - perfectly salty and sweet, the birthday cake whoopie pie, and the croNOT - light and fluffy croissant donut with cream that was heavenly! I had to refrain for ordering more and will definitely be back soon to try other goodies on the menu. Must try!
Awesome little homemade bakery, filled with cookies, pies, brownies and more. I'm not sure if I want to disclose my favorite cookie because when I do and y'all listen.. IT WILL BE SOLD OUT! It's honestly, one of a kind and original to Fluff Bake Bar. Bonus star for having a homemade cookie for my puppy at home to enjoy for $1. Highly recommended place!
Sweetest little bake shop - pun intended! My little family greatly enjoyed stopping in for a few yummy treats. The staff was friendly and attentive, the space is adorable (including the courtyard in the back), and everything available looked scrumptious. It’s next door to a great pizza place. So, make it a deliciously fun evening with dinner & dessert!
Baked with hate!!! Owner has a sense of humor and a love of COLOR! Would recommend... - very berry corn cookies (Capt Crunch Berries) - financier - snickerdoodles - lemon anything I am always impressed by Fluff! They also do Saturday bake sales, which I hear are amazing - constantly changing menus that never disappoint - both sweet and savory options.
I love their dessert creations! The texture is always great (nice, soft, chewy, with the occasional slight crunch on the outer exterior). The flavor of the various baked creations are amazing and have a nice depth, not depending solely on am extravagant amount of sugar. My favorite part is that they make different creations to spice up the variety.
UPDATE: It seems like they have closed. The establishment says it's up for rent. BUT while reading reviews the owner said they are moving locations to the heights. There is no Fluff bake bar on W Gray. Original Review: It's a wonderful bakery! The atmosphere is very nice and the Cup | Cakes are sooo good! The gluten free options are great as well.
My bestfriend and I stopped here and it was such a cute shop. The employees there were really nice I also like the fact that they have a window that gives you a view straight into the kitchen so you can actually see the bakers. The shop was very clean and the cookies were delicious. Birthday cake scone was to die for!!
Place was nice. Hard to find parking. The desserts were okay, nothing to rave about. I wasn't too impressed with their options and their cookies were good not great. Their star-crossed dessert was tasty. Overall, don't think I would go out of my way to come here again, but if I was around I might come in.
Family of 4 each had something different. All were very good and like the attention to the balanced taste of the cookies. That s’mores bar.was the bomb. Definitely coming back!

Super cute shop.. yum experience.. I personally bought the brownie that has mini mms baked inside , a shortcake valentines cookie for my 7yr old, and a fresh baked cinnamon roll....( literally an add on upsell) I mean homemade icing and cinnamon smother inside,,, ummmm YESSSSSS!! …
You could not ask for a better bakery. Beyond the delicious treats and the creative weekly Saturday bake sales the team team at Fluff is just full of good people. Witty, sarcastic and kind. Beyond thrilled to have Fluff less than a mile from my front door as the trek to midtown absolutely sucked.
Service and coffee were fabulous! Macarons were stale tasting, lemon pound cake was okay but not anything extraordinary. If I was already parked in the area I would definitely visit for the service and coffee. Seeking them out and dealing with parking issues; no, I would not recommend the place.
I left Fluff fairly underwhelmed. The cake cup was comprised of dry cake and too much frosting for my taste. The cookies we had were very dry and unpleasant. The space is very nice: clean, bright, and welcoming to enjoy your treats. Ultimately, Fluff did not impress me with their baked goods.
I ordered the verruca salt cake and it was pretty good until i reached the middle, it had an overwhelming taste of salt. I'm not sure if the person baking the cake had a hand slip & dumped a lot of salt into it but man that ruined the rest of the cake. Did not want anymore nor did my family.
OMG, this is the best dessert shop I have been to in Htown! The gentleman that took my order at the counter convinced me to try their potato chip, pretzel, and cornflake cookie. That s*** was fire!!! I should have bought more, as long as this place is open, I will not promise myself a diet.
Fun shop, great crowd, and personal service. One-of-a-kind pastries (The Couch Potato Cookie) and amped up flavor in old favorites. My favorite was the lemon pound cake with enhanced clean lemon taste. The cinnamon buns are terrific and will bring me back for more #WakeyBakey on Saturdays.
Very friendly and helpful staff! The staff greeted me warmly when I entered and the guy behind the counter patiently answered all my questions. Treats are a little pricey but so delicious. I enjoyed everything I tried here, but my favorite was the Veruca Salt cake. Wonderful bakery!
A unique selection of excellent desserts. This shop is adorable. There's free parking in the garage, but it's only for a half hour, so keep that in mind if you're driving. While you're here, walk down the block to Minuti coffee. It's the perfect coffee to accompany your treat.
Fluff was a very cute and delicious bakery! I tried the famous Couch Potato....OMG!!!! A party in my mouth and fat on my thighs but....I will work out a little longer today to get it off...So worth it! This place gets 4 stars and a referral They also have doggy treats
First time trying this place. Really nice layout of the deserts and pastries. I tried the oatmeal cookie, chocolate chip and the peanut butter chocolate cookie. I like them all. Oatmeal was my favorite. I wish the cashier would have been more informative about their products.
I follow Fluff Bake Bar on Instagram and about a month ago had the opportunity to visit the shop on a popular Sat. night. Great hours, so a fun place to visit after a late night outing. Easy access from downtown. Parking is a little difficult. Friendly and kind wait staff!
Really special place. I ordered 5 or 6 different items. Each item was a standalone, unique and delicious pastry experience. This place, and it's super talented owner Rebecca, are operating and creating at a level that is not to be missed. Cant wait to go back!
Got four cupcakes here-- delicious! My favorite was the S'mores cupcake-- the frosting is super sweet so if that's not your thing then you might not love the cupcakes. on past occasions i have had sugar cookies from here which are also delicious!
Cute little dessert place. They have great tasting blueberry financiers. A big plus is that they stay open late. The staff was nice and service was quick. I must say though that it's not worth the parking hassle if you don't live in the area.
They recently moved from midtown to the heights. The quality did not change. The baked goods and pastries are so good. They have a cute style of cupcakes too - they’re literally inside a plastic cup! The fluffernutter is my fave def try it !
The famous couch potato cookie was tasty. There's a nice crunch from the potato chips. However the cupcake in a cup blew me away! It was carrot cake, cream cheese and cookie butter. It was creamy and delicious! The shop is small and clean.
Super Friendly staff, and the deserts were AMAZING. My wife and I got 4 different things in total, and all of them were amazing. My personal favorite was the chocolate covered rice crispy! SO Good. We will definitely be back!
Yum, yum, yum is all I can say. Got a variety of treats to try. All were delicious but the couch potato cookie was my favorite. Sweet and salty is the best combo! Super friendly staff, average prices and great location.
Fluff Bakery is one of the cutest bakeries I have ever seen. I love that you can see them making all of the pastries in the back and the service was amazing! I will definitely recommend this place to many of my friends!
These pastries are downright delectable! Yummy also gets the message across. The variety means there is something for everyone and the quality means all the choices are good. Try out Fluff Bake Bar. You won't regret it.
This place will never disappoint! The owner and staff are always a joy to interact with and they serve the best sweets in Houston. Well worth a stop by for a Saturday bake sale the guest chefs are always a nice treat.
Cute bakery. The couch potato cookie was really yummy. We got a mix of 18 different baked goods and some were buttery and really delicious while others were okay. The Frankenstein cookies were really cute for kids.
I finally tried this place today and was so pleasantly surprised. I got the oatmeal cream pie, cosmic brownie cookie and the s’mores cookie. All 3 were delicious and i can’t wait to go back and try more!
Took advantage of being in the heights area and tried a new place. We tried the unicorn, gooey butter, snickerdoodle couch potato and birthday cake. Favorite was couch potato but they were all great!
We I walked in the smell was amazing! So sweet! I the girl behind the bar answer all of our questions and I ended up getting the black velvet cupcake. It was $5 But the taste was amazing!
Great cookies! I got their version of a moon pie and a pistachio macaroon. Both cookies were out of this world. Lovely shop with a big window so you can see what they are baking next.
Great cookies. Best oatmeal raisin cookies ever but you have to be persistent. They will say they don't have them but they keep them all for themselves. Worth the trouble to ask.
A favorite part of my travels is to find the best in local food. I was blown away by the pasties from Fluff! The smore bar was so yummy! Very friendly staff, cute &.clean bakery.
Really love atmosphere and amazingly tasty cookies. The smorkie I got was incredible and the chocolate chip cookie my mom got was lovely. Can’t wait to come back again!
Favorite bakery in Houston! I love all of their goodies but Couch Potato cookie is peerless!! That said, I have never bought a cookie I didn’t like from this place!
Cute little dessert bar with lots of unique flavors! My fav cookie was the Couch Potato. Make sure to check out the bathroom for some surprise wall decorations too
Neighborhood gem. Hope others don't discover it . Already a line out the door sometimes.

At last a real bakery with fantastic offerings. Highly recommend the couch potato or anything that catches your eye. Great customer service.
The unicorn bait cookies are my favorite! They have the cutest cookies that are reasonably priced. Everyone is super helpful and sweet! ❤️
Yummy yummy yummy! Great desserts, great customer service. It's a little pricey, but expected for one of a kind treats. I will be back.
Whenever I get cravings for something sweet I always know whether to go. Rebecca's creations are the best and never disappoint!!!
Wow! They have fantastic desserts, guest chefs on Saturday mornings and open til midnight on Fridays. Try Varuca Salt cake.
Amazing selection of unique cookies, pastries, and cakes. Also have great kolaches on occasion. Awesome staff.
Great cookies and desserts. I had the double chocolate peanut butter cookie. It was good.
Great neighborhood bakery. We sampled one of everything, and it was all great.
Wish they had cake by the slice, however, the cookies are scrumptious …
