just had my own birthday party here, if i could i would give this place 0 stars. first off, the service we got was absolutely terrible. when we got there, we were told that our party host was not there, so we had to wait around 20 minutes to get checked in. however, the same girl that told us we couldnt get checked in earlier was the one who checked us in, so there was virtually no reason why we had to wait 20 minutes. when i did finally get checked in, i was told i had to wait another 20 minutes for our table, but those 20 minutes ended up being around 35-45 minutes, meaning we were able to go to our table late and not at the reserved time. when it was time to go to our table, the workers explicitly asked me where my parents are, when i had previously told them that i was the organizer for my own birthday party. when we did get to the table it was very squished. there were not enough plates, cutlery, and water bottles for the amount of people that i booked for. when we finally got to jumping around, there was a group of children coming up to my friends and i calling us slurs, such as the c-slur since most of us are asian. i mentioned this to a staff member, even pointing them out, but they did absolutely nothing and shrugged it off. my friends and i were very offended by those childrens actions, but the staff did not seem to care about that. we were told to only have one person on an advanced trampoline at all times, even though every single one of us were adults, this made us not have as much fun as we should/could have. we signed a waiver and everything, so therefore we know we are liable for anything and we should be able to do what we want. i was charged more for adding an extra person on the day of than when i was booking it, which is completely unreasonable in my opinion. i was charged $40 online when i was originally booking it, however when i was there today i was charged almost $50 per person when i was adding them. that makes no sense to me because adding one more person should not really affect anything. the whole place is super crowded. i lost my friends multiple times. children kept running into me and interrupted my jumping by running right in front of me. i understand that the children are trying to have a good time, but i felt like the staff were paying extra attention to my friends and i, even when we were minding our own business, simply because we're older kids. also, the washrooms are quite literally the worst washrooms i have ever seen in my entire life. myself and another one of my friends ended up throwing up because the smell inside was absolutely terrible. for the price of this place i feel like they should at least be able to afford a febreze air freshener. overall the service was absolutely terrible. i could not recommend this place to ANYONE. it was a complete waste of not only our time but our money as well.
First time visiting Flying Squirrel (July 2021). It was a lot of fun to see kids having a blast and enjoying the area. I will definitely be coming. Back specially to the Neon lights nights they host. We went with friends and our toddlers on a weekday around 4pm. It was not busy and most visitors were also kids age 2-10 yrs old. Always be on the lookout when your son is panting and checking the areas. Staff was not on the lookout when older teenagers where doing running competitions across the whole trampoline area - exactly where everyone was playing and specially where kids where playing. Management should place some restrictions on the general area when it comes to safety for everyone. A kid tripped and the runner had to jump to avoid landing on the child. That could be a serious accident for a little one. So be on the watch. It was super fun though! Your kid will have a blast for sure just watch the area he will be playing at. Around 6:00pm it got busier with teenagers and older kids. So if you are a parent of a small child or toddler I recommend visiting early in the day. The girl in reception was a delight and welcoming! You don’t have to buy the socks but they are only $3.00 and they are grippy at the bottom so it helps you have some grip when climbing the trampolines and to avoid any fall in slippery areas :) they can be reused too. Lots of couches to seat for parents! And they have tables to eat too. The snack place was closed but I’m guessing they will be serving food at some point :)
Our second time visiting. First time was awesome, spur of the moment date night. We had a blast. Facility is super fun. Brings out your inner child. Second time there tonight, Some Staff were super rude. We are 2 couples, in our 30's. Barely able to keep our breath while bouncing around. And one staff member just followed us around telling us we pretty much couldn't do anything there even tho we were just bouncing up the wall as it's intended for, playing on one of the trampolines in the corner goofing around (nothing rough, just bouncing around with each other). Just seemed like she fixated on us and didn't want us there. I'm watching children running into each other, rough housing all over, but she chose to just follow us around telling us we can pretty much just jump up and down in 1 spot alone. It was to the the point we just left because we couldn't believe how rude and fixated on us she was over nothing. Just felt like this younger staff member didn't want us there since she seemed to care less about anything else going on, other than us.
My son, aged 6 absolutely loves this place. If he was reviewing, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately he isn’t reviewing, I am, and this place makes me feel like a grumpy old man. The last time I was there, I had 3 major problems. First, they were playing Drake at full blast. Little kids don’t like Drake. Adults don’t like Drake. That music is for drunk people at nightclubs. Second, my son and his friends were bullied by some older boys who took their ball away by force. I saw what happened and asked the staff to intervene. The staff member seemed confused by my request and would not help, so I intervened myself. Third, the cafeteria had no actual food for sale. They were preparing pizza for a birthday party and I was told it would be 45 minutes, minimum, to get any pizza for the boys. If the cafeteria is for private events only, just close it to the other customers so you don’t have to disappoint a bunch of hungry 6 year olds. 45 minutes??!!?? This review is an average of my son’s review (5) and mine (0).
On November 5th we all had my grandsons 6th birthaday Party there. All the kids and Adults enjoyed the party, we were all having a great time. We have gone to the North location and the vibe there was so different Then in the south location. We all liked the south location better.Since it was my grandsons choice where his party was going to be at and he chose this location to go to .I really believed he made ther best choice . He says it was better there and I agree with him . The whole vibe of the place felt better to me Then the North location ,And a few of the other family memebers thought so too, But the party was going off with out a hitch for the kids and adults in our group . we all enjoyed the pizza and drinks .and they liked the cake aswell , and seeing him open up his gifts was fun to And for me it was really fun watching him go from game to game.
I would not recommend this place for children younger than 3 and definitely not recommend it for parties with drop off. Keep parents around when doing birthday parties because I saw many children bleeding, crying with pain and hurt. Avoid holidays because they are so busy that it's impossible to have fun without being hurt. There is a requirement for special socks with grip to avoid accidents, bring yours from home or pay CAD$3. If it is your first time you will have to sign a term of responsibility for accidents that might happen. One last thing I believe it is possible to improve is the lack of washrooms' care. I spent 5 hours there (3 to 8 PM) and nobody put toilet paper in the washroom. They get all the points for serving a good pizza and coffee. Staff were always willing to help (especially with ice) and the playing structure is well cared and clean.
Such a fun afternoon for the kids! Took our 6&4 year old here on a Saturday afternoon. They had an awesome time. We knew it would be on the busier side since it was a Saturday afternoon, and it was, but we found the venue to be big enough that people aren’t tripping over each other. Entry is well priced. We paid $19/kiddo since they’re 6&under. You do have to buy a pair of socks which isn’t included in the cost of entry, but you get to keep them and bring them back for future use. We did an hour of trampoline time and that was more than enough time to thoroughly wear the kids out! Found that the venue was clean and well kept. The only complaint I have is that there wasn’t enough lockers to store out items and we ended up stashing them in a corner. Not that big of a deal but it would be nice to have a bigger space to store personal items (coats/shoes).
Overall it's pretty cool, kids loved it. We took my son for his birthday on Friday the 5th of May 2023, and our birthday coordinator was great (Madie? I think). She was attentive and helped with everything, definitely made the whole experience easier with the kids. Most of the staff were good, but the two gentlemen who were up on the second level near the "drop zone" were just chatting and not paying attention at all to who was using it. There were a number of small children who definitely were too small to be jumping from that height. I wish I had their names but I couldn't see their name tags and wasn't really interested in confrontation, I just made sure no kids from our group who were too little were using the drop zone.
Kids had LOTS of fun jumping everywhere last Friday. However, around 9:30pm we wanted some pizza and it just felt like we were bothering them. The clerk told us “well it depends, what kind of pizza do you want because we’re closing soon?” May I remind you that this location closes at 11pm on the weekends. On our way out at 10:20pm, my wife wanted to use the washroom and it was closed because they were cleaning it for the night. I repeat myself, kids had lots of fun but the staff should learn a bit more about customer service and they should be reminded at what time they actually close. Starting to close the place 1h30 before closing time is not acceptable.
There was some significant bullying going on there when we were at the Calgary South location recently. We informed three "managers" and a person working on the floor. The managers said they would watch out and take care of the children, but instead they fiddled around with the thermostat for 20 minutes and then disappeared off the floor never to be seen again. Nobody did anything about the bullying and I continued to see children being pushed around and pushed down by strangers. Extremely disappointed in this place. But I guess that is what you get for allowing teenage "managers" to run your establishment. Very disappointing, to say the least.
My kids love this place and I enjoy going with them. There is a ton of things to for the kids to do other than jumping on trampolines. Divided into multiple sections, the kids can move from one section to the next without getting bored. Abundant sitting space. Lots of friendly staff keeping an eye on the participants, which is reassuring. My suggestion is 1-1.5 hrs is plenty of time to experience everything at least once without getting too tired. Unfortunately, extra services like storage is a little pricy, gets understandably busy on school holidays, and parking can be difficult.
Did you know that they have a toddler time??? We came today with 3 little ones who are still learning how to follow rules. The staff was very patient with us and the kids had so much fun! There is a special place for the little guys, so if it was really busy with big kids our little ones can still have fun and safely! I really appreciate the toddler pricing too!! Parents didn’t have to pay if we were not jumping, just supervising. Another great bonus. For parents with big kids, you can sit and relax in a massage chair, if you don’t want to bounce. We will be back for sure!!!
for my niece's birthday, I came here. It was a lot of fun! Nice staff; one at the front desk handed me a pair of free socks; thank you! I adore the many trampoline portions (kid zone, basketball, rock climbing, etc). But, I wish the music were playing louder so that I would be more motivated to jump. Even though there were other parties happening on there, it wasn't particularly crowded. They celebrate birthdays, which is lovely. The restroom was tidy. Would unquestionably suggest if you want to host a birthday celebration here!
Wonderful place for kids. We always enjoy the value for money, no struggles easy access, joy and fun-filled environment with such a down to earth vibe. The only problem, and this is a big problem for me, their coffee is just pure water sprinkle with coffee flavor. Don't skip your coffee, or bring your own, they don't have coffee. They have food and snacks but coffee, no, forget about that...unless of course they look into this and make some coffee. I recommend this place for anyone seeking fun for their kids and selves of course!
a Deathtrap disguised as a funpark. I don't even wanna think about how disgustingly germ-ridden all the foam blocks that can't be cleaned are considering the permanent discolouration of the pink edge mats. all of the teenagers with the pink referee jerseys are sensationalists too: kid bounces a little funny? "ohh they sprained their ankle." also the bathrooms are beyond repulsive. they need way more attention than they get considering their primary user base are children who are messy and barely house-trained. bleh.
Hi my name is Brandon. I took my family here to have a great time, the atmosphere was great an the kids had a ton of fun.. But I was double charged an when I expressed this to management with bank statements showing it, I was brushed off. Very poor management, careful if you are tight on money. Refunds are not a priority even if it is their fault. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, even talked to their GM Zayna.. Told me to wait 5days to see if my "bank statement" would change... When anyone with half a mind knows it will not.
Really impressed with the facility. I appreciate the timed entry so it guarantees that it's not too busy or crowded in the facility especially mid day on a Saturday! There are lots of staff or "referees" throughout the park to make sure everyone is safe. I like also that each area was clearly labelled so it made it easy to navigate on my first visit. I was trying to find something that would please both a 13 year old and a 3 years old, I would recommend this activity for any age and I will be visiting again.
Great place for birthday party. Kids love this place. No matter what age. But choose the less busy day to come here if you have young kids like 2 yrs or 3 yrs . Friday and weekends are the bussiest days in the week. My 2 years' son lost his sock at the rock climbing area. I struggled to find it. And Sarah, the staff told me to ask for a new pair to replace the lost one at the front desk. She was so nice and helped me in time. Thank you, Sarah! I was very stressed at that time. You made my day!
Amazing Place! I don’t write a lot of reviews but I am very very pleased with this place! I work with a kid with Autism and he loves to come here! The staff are always very patient, accommodating and understanding of his needs. I pick quieter times to go of course but have always had a great experience here. Finding accommodating and understanding outings for special needs children is difficult sometimes, but this place is always amazing. Excellent job staff, you’re doing amazing!!
Went here for my niece’s birthday. It was really fun! Staff were nice, one at the front even gave me free socks (thank you!) I love the different sections of trampoline (kid zone, basketball, rock climbing, etc). I wish the music would be louder though so I’d be more hyped to jump lol. It also wasn’t busy considering there were other parties going on there. They do bday shout outs which is nice. Bathroom was clean. Would definitely recommend if you want to have a bday party here !
We took our 3 and 5 year old and they had a real good time. Their favorite thing was the rope swing and jumping off the ledges. You really have to supervise because some kids jump right in front of or across each other. Was a bit surprised by the garbage on the ground by the big chair(ripped seat). Lockers are $2. Will go again. Some real bouncy tramps and most are less bouncy. Oh it was also pretty hot and sweaty if you are moving around alot. Dress lightly.
I have been here a couple of times, but I will avoid it in the future. This place is a disgrace. The music is way to loud, there is no air circulation, all body odor smells around, it is VERY dirty with bits and crumbs on the floor, garbage and dust pilled in the corners, it is ridiculous how dirty it is. You can walk around in socks and step in a water puddle or something else. The kids enjoy it, they don't know better, but I will not come back.
Great fun with the family (kids age 8 and 10)! I can't give it 5 stars as the prices are a little bit high and did not include the price of the (mandatory) socks (which was an additional cost above admission), but otherwise, we had a lot of fun. Lots of different activities that kept us thoroughly entertained for our 2 hours there. We visited on a Wednesday at 10am and it wasn't too busy so we had lots of opportunity to bounce in all the areas.
The most satisfying experience of booking for Birthday Party with the help of the girl named Abuk. She help me to get the room for birthday with excellent services like printing the birthday invitation letter and written down the notes for me that I should know and choosing the most appropriate date for us. She is so patient and helpful. Thanks Abuk for all your help. Flying squirrel SE is better because of the best staffs like ABUK.
Awesome, as always! Quick to get in, and there is always room at any time they are open, even on weekends. There are plenty of staff that let you have fun but stop things quickly if there is a risk of injury. We love seeing our now 6 year old gain skills and confidence on the different areas while making new friends every visit. We are so busy as adults having fun too that we never think to get a picture
I really dislike this location. The only reason I even spend money here is because the kids enjoy it. However there lack of caring when is comes to having more then 2 balls for the dodgeball is insane. I have been on multiple occasions and have asked multiple staff members. I get excuses and/or laughed at. This is one of your main attraction especially at neon lights and you cannot keep extra balls on hand?!
This is a huge facility, bright, and clean, with patient, helpful staff. It appears well run, so that even filled with birthday parties, children's classes, etc, everything is organized and operates smoothly. I went on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't too busy, but it was so much fun. What a great cardio workout! P. S. I'm 60 years old, and went with my 26yr old son. We had a hilariously fun time. Five stars.
Love love love frying squirrel! My daughter adores going here with her friends, so with the regular sales we make sure to stock up on passes. My only issue is with the back bit with the rope and raised jump platforms... the 2 activities intersect so there are always kids landing on eachother. I really think there should be a more permanent ref there to monitor the area during busy times. *area pictured
Kids had a great time. Only 3 other kids there today. So they basically had the place to themselves. The obstacle course is a bit hidden, maybe they could have showed us the areas before hand, and a description of what each trampoline is used best for would be great. If this was cheaper I would definitely come much more, but today was a birthday, so it was a special day.
My Daughter had her birthday party at Flying squrill and it was amazing and fun and a decent price $ for all the things you get, she had the best time with her friends! The staff Is Amazing my only complaint is the wash rooms need more attention & Parking is not the best, Other wise great fun place and fun upbeat staff. My family and I will definitely come back.
I’ve been to flying squirrel many time for my kids. I’ve hosted a birthday there and gone just for fun. Our recent experience at glow night was my kid’s favorite! 2 hours of activity with the bonus of dark light and glowing colors plus a great hit list of popular music. All around a great facility that always provides a lot of fun for kids and adults!
Lots of fun, great activities, very clean. If I had to give one complaint I'd say somebody needs to supervise the higher- bouncing trampolines more. There's a sign there that says that people are supposed to be a certain height but parents were just letting their toddlers and stuff go on them which was frustrating for the older kids.
Bathroom is f'ing gross. Toilet seat is broken. Hasn't been cleaned in days. Staffers are young. Watched two kid staff members sit off in the corner and chat instead of monitoring the kids. Foods awful and limited. But alas, park is in good condition and is lots of fun for kids so that's all that matters
Flying Squirrel is a great place to bring kids and adults as well. The place is huge and the trampolines are safe. However, they should assign more staff in the area. There are some kids bullying smaller children. An older kid pushed my 2-year old grandson into the foam pit. Luckily, I was there!
Birthday party for about ten kids cost just over 300 including 2 pizza and drinks. The floor between the jumping areas felt soft in spots, I duuno why. The kids had lots of fun though. With the money. We were there early, and it was quite busy already. Popular place..
was very happy my 3 and 5yr old loved it.. was worried it'd be to much for my 3 yr old but she stayed busy running around on the trampolines and trying to swing from ropes for hours. It was also a very safe environment, with lots of room to run around and burn energy
My daughter likes to come here. It's good exercise for a child. I also find the establishment very clean. My only complaint is that there are not many food options or places for the parents to sit. I have taken my daughter to several birthday parties here.
My kids had a great time! I find the party section to be a bit tight as you will be sharing the space with other events. The washrooms were clean. There were enough attendants there if you need to ask for help. They also had sanitizer stations.
Took my kids to the South location on Wednesday around 6:45pm. We walked in and were told they were closing at 7pm for a staff function. No notice on the website or Facebook page; just a sign on the door. Had 3 VERY disappointed kids …
My kids love this place! Lots to do for all ages. We go on our own as a family but have also been to 2 birthday parties here. The staff does such a great job and the birthdays went off without a hitch. Highly recommend for something fun to do
Location is so bad. Wish I can give a 0 star. First off, my group and I are mostly Asian and we literally got hate-crimed and got called the ch*** slur for NO REASON by another group, and the fact that we had a child with us as well, THAT
Seriously overpriced and the parking situation is a joke. I feel sorry for all the businesses nearby who have all their spots overrun by this place. Having said that the kids love it and it’s a good way to burn some energy on a cold day.
So fun to go and jump for an hour with the girls. Wasn't prepared for the number of calories that I would burn, but we loved every second of it!! Hoping for some group deals or coupons sometime soon, that would be the cherry on top!
Took my daughter for a bounce party (not cheap), place was overrun by ignorant kids smoking inside, helping themselves to the party area, blatantly stealing from concession and made the overall experience a big regret.
So much fun , very knowledgeable and friendly staff , right in time with scheduling, it was a pleasure to have my son's birthday party there . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to book a party
Ayeun was awesome with the kid's birthday party! The price of admission adds up but, the kid's loved being there. They got new balls for the dodgeball area and have the small arcade area beside their concession.
I will give the -5 stars if the Google review has it. This is my the worst experience in Canada. The public area is very mess and very dirty. Very RUDE staff. They don't have any customers service.
Great place to take kids for all ages .. I had fun too good workout... my daughter is 4 and son 2 we wer3 only charged for 4 years old. And 1 parent is free with 2 year old.... which was amazing...
Great place for up to 20+ guests, fresh made pizzas, lots of bouncing, climbing, and obstacle areas. Friendly staff, awesome family fun area. Lazer jumping later in the evening for older audiences.
It was more than amazing experience at Flying Squirrel Trampoline park..! Went there as a group and enjoyed till we ran out fo breath(almost literally :p)... I am definitely coming back here …
My daughter has special needs so I had to be pretty close just in case and not only did they give me a free pass her pass was only $8.00 thank you so much!! Both her and my friends son had a blast
Break free! - Great place for children and adults. Enough trampolines and space to accommodate a crowd. The birthday section is ok and can have about 8 families comfortably. Service was good
System down this morning couldn't go in after driving an hour to get here. Had cash ready to pay but couldn't do a waiver for our guests. No paper waivers available. Really disappointing
We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. It was fun and the staff are always friendly. We have a great time every time we go, and it's a good hour workout for the whole family.
This place is a huge security risk for little ones. It's very busy and hard to keep track of your kids. There is no gate and no system to ensure that kids leave with the correct adult.
Fun indoor park. Looking a little run down, couches are falling apart. Staff all look a little less then impressed to be working here. No visible food menu to.order off of in the Cafe.
Our family loves coming here. Staff is very friendly. Once the dj came out and lights went out the kids lost their minds and had a blast. Clean facility and lots of room to play.
Honestly, the charge for a certain amount of time isn’t the greatest. And it’s hella expensive. I think places like the big box gets you more bang for the buck, as it were.
Extremely slow ticketing system when you go in. We purchased the ticket online and still had to go through all the line for more than 25minutes. Total waste.
This was our first time here. The Staff very friendly and me and the kids loved it, will definitely be recommending to friends and family. We will be back
Friday night, under staffed, doesn’t offer refunds on online purchase yet I didn’t get to use all my paid time because of lack of staff……. Great place.
My son wants to go to Flying Squirrel all the time. He can go upwards of 3 hours or more. Clean and the staff is really good about keeping it clean.
Really fun place! Saw a bunch of guys do all sorts of flips, and there was a huge foam-block fight at the climbing wall. 10/10 would witness again.
We went to the NW location, it was extremely hot inside only fans going. My kids were complaining about the heat. We were all disappointed.
Kids love this place! Is it overpriced yes! But what kid place isn’t! At least you don’t have to pay just to watch your kids jump around!
Facilities were good a great way to ware the kids out! The staff (just teenagers) are feckless. Several concerning safety issues had to
Fun idea, but it's overpriced, not enough parking spots, crowded, and lacks storage spaces (there were shoes left behind everywhere).
Always a great time here. I really like this location. Very clean and friendly staff. Great way to burn off energy with the kids.
Daughter had a great birthday, they don't do parties under 10 kids so we just paid for individual kids to play, worked out great!
This absolutely insane place purchased ticket online just to stand in line for 30-40min to check jn , where’s the logic here ???
My kids always have fun at this place! It’s clean and maintained well. Lots of seating for Adults to watch their kids jump.
We went yesterday. For the price of the tickets and the amount of staff standing around, the place is absolutely filthy!
Glad there's a place such as Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park where we have had amazing times! Great for Birthdays!
a very family friendly place if you want to be called slurs by little kids and have employees do nothing to help!
Super fun trampoline park with some small Game Center! Good for small birthday party’s or just to have fun!
Surprisingly more fun then I expected going as an adult, the dark, neon night thing was pretty cool!
Just had my daughter's birthday party here, and everything was great. All the kids had a great time.
I got scammed of 200$ for buying neon lights tickets online. Please do not buy them they scammed us
Happy place for my kids and his friends! Celebrated his birthday here and everybody had a blast!!
Great for kids and youths to play and learn new skills, they have neon nights and party packages.
Awesome time every visit! Great place for young adults and kids to celebrate birthdays at!
Was a great experience, bring all the kids I watch here. They have a blast everytime.
My 5 year old son is really enjoying this place. Spacious place with helpful staff.
Very clean, lots of fun, easy to book parties, nice enough staff, would recommend.
Great place for the kids to burn off some energy. Fun winter day for the family.
It was fun with all my friends playing around at flying squirrel! Jaden: age 11:
What an awesome birthday party for our 5 year old, great venue and staff
Keeps kids active, so beautiful inside. My daughter loves it here.
Great place for my granddaughters Birthday. They had a blast.
