I was very very disappointed with my experience there this evening. October first 2023. They closed their cashes forty minutes before closing. They only had two visible front end staff with a good twenty five people coming to cash out. I helped two shoppers with the "self check out" as they did not know how to use self check out effectively and either due to language barrier or age they did not know how to do non bar code items. If we had to wait for the two front end people who were engaged trying to help other people we would still be self checking now instead of being home. I was under the impression that stores were not supposed to force people to use the self check outs? However by closing your ONLY OPEN CASHIER half an hour before store close,you are effectively doing just that. I know where I will not be going for evening groceries again. I'd rather pay Loblaws price and enjoy a real customer service experience then feeling obligated to help cash your customers out, when I do not get a pay cheque from your establishment. Stores are worried about customer retention.. you keep customers by providing good customer service. You failed.

I was at Food Basic Pharmacy on Bath road in Kingston,ON. I had asked to speak to the PHARMACIST, the pharmacist came out of her office, she was holding her face mask with one hand and she stood over 10 feet away and yelling from that distance. Not sure if this is the way patient Counselling is conducted. But it felt extremely inappropriate to me, yelling from that distance rather than speaking in person. She was extremely, most unhelpful lady pharmacist I have ever encountered. The least amount of professional standards were shown. Never go there ever again.

Always very fast and friendly. I’ve has issues with one of the pharmacists not giving me a prescription because of side effects even though I’ve taken it before and assured them I never get any side effects. This can’t be very frustrating, especially on a weekend when I can’t call my family doctor to have it changed or confirmed. Aside from this I’ve never had any issue with this pharmacy. If they haven’t received a certain medication or want to double check that I’m okay with a new prescription, Eunice always calls me right away!

Very efficient and friendly. The staff is open to discussions about meds and recommendations. Delivery is prompt. Thank you
