Please take the time to read I was in a domestic situation which led me to a horrific snowmobile accident January 2021 in the Yukon where I was medivact to Vancouver. Many trainees broke my front teeth and others while trying to put me back together. I underwent multiple surgeries to put my face and body back together. During these surgeries where my jaw which was broken in 6 places was put back together and wired by students, they had broken and knocked out one of my front teeth. I was told a dentist in the Yukon could see me early 2022. This to me was unacceptable because I had lived my life by my smile and needed to work. Early April of 2021 I was graciously accepted by Dr Chahal. He was immaculate with his team during Covid to facilitate a person out of province. The dental implant was beyond perfect and matched to my teeth perfectly. I ended up moving to Alberta and can’t even imagine going anywhere else! Dr Chahal’s wife also found an issue that I had had for years. My past dentist had left a rift in a filling which had led to excessive food and partial buildup. It meant bad breath. I had always wondered. I can breathe clear now ‍♀️ The hygienists are phenomenal and personable. The front desk knows your name by memory. I have always been beyond scared and horrified to go to the dentist. Please try Foothills and their team! I actually enjoy my appointments, and that is weird

I have been seeing Dr. Shruti for the better part of 8 years and I can say all my experiences have been fantastic! From Deb and Melody at the front to Kate and the rest of the team you guys are all amazing and I appreciate your hard work! After years of personal neglect on my teeth and having one knocked out with a hockey puck Dr. Chahal and her team have revived my dental hygiene to a point I did not think was achievable. I recently completed invisalign treatment with the goal of finally getting an implant to replace my knocked out tooth. I could not be happier with the outcome of the invisalign. Dr. Chahal did an incredible job with the finishing. Once the invisalign was completed I was informed it would be ~10-14 days to get a permanent retainer with a front tooth molded in. This would mean I would have had to walk around with a missing front tooth for almost two weeks. I expressed to the team how it would effect my confidence and ability to work as I am in sales. Dr. Chahal and Kate took it upon themselves fabricate a temporary retainer in house with a tooth molded in. They were able to complete this in less than 48 hours for me and although I was expecting a fee Dr. Chahal included in the previous treatment costs. I really am blown away by the service and comfort I have at Foothills Dentistry! I would give a 10 star review if I could!

On Friday (July 21, 2023) I had an appointment to repair my partial denture which had to be sent to a dental lab. Dr. Shruti Chahal provided "beyond the call of duty service" by arranging to courier out the denture that morning and having it ready for me on the next business day to pick up (that was today on July 24 Monday morning). This is not the first time that she has provided this kind of excellent service! This morning Dental Hygienist "Ayaa" and Dr. Chahal made this follow up appointment feel seamless as the denture was refitted after having been returned from the lab repaired. I have been a patient of Dr. Shruti Chahal for about 8 years now and I highly recommend this dental practice. Dr. Shruti Chahal and her staff are excellent. Always on time with their appointments. Dr. Chahal genuinely cares about her patient. Her dental techniques are designed to maintain zero (or minimal) pain for the patient. On my most recent visit Dental Hygienist Jusanka provided pain free and high quality dental care. I have been a patient at Foothills Dentistry for about 10 years now and I highly recommend them for your dental needs. Thanks for the great service all around!

From the front desk to the dentist's chair, everything is well run and well integrated. I had a surgical extraction and every precaution to make the process pain free was taken. Dr. Shruti (Chahal) was clear about the after care. She is thorough in addressing your well being with a phone call the next day. I'm glad I found this clinic. This was my fourth visit. I'll be going back again. Edit, October 2022. I continue to visit Foothills Dentistry and I continue to be impressed. On my last visit, I was in for fillings. What I left with was a reconstruction of a chipped upper incisor that I never gave much thought about. There was a noticeable V where there used to enamel. Now that is gone. AND no noticeable evidence of repair. The colour match was impeccable. Plus the two fillings. Two hours plus in the chair and still, a pain-free experience. Can't give enough stars for pain-free.

My experience was wonderful! I usually don’t care much for the dentist because I feel like I’m always paying too much money for my services but the receptionist was clear and able to provide me with a prédétermination on how much my insurance would pay I would be paying out of pocket for the cleaning. The Dental Hygienist was able to provide me with some clarity on how I should be taking care of my oral health better but also mentioned I was doing a very good job with the regime I had going. The clinic was clean and organized and cozy which was comforting. I was able to watch a show on television while my teeth were being cleaned and the hygienist was patient with me and clear on what she was doing and the things I may be feeling. Overall great service and great clinic. Thank you!

I've been getting my invisilign treatment from Foothhills dentistry for the past 7 months and my results are impressive! It all starts with the administrative staff : Debbie and Melody. Those ladies will make sure to follow up on your appointments, paymenrs, call your insurance ,explain your insurance coverage and other things. Most of us have no time dealing with our insurance companies and that's a big thick plus!!! Next, is the treatment itself. Based on the result I got after just a 7months treatment I can sum up that Dr. SHAHAL knows what she is doing. My overbite has drastically improved and my teeth are a waaay more straighter. Overall, I'm super satisfied with my result as of now. I will post another review when my treatment is done.

I just recently had a bunch of work done here,, after a couple cleanings.. I've found as I got older, I became more anxious about dental work being done.. The staff there did everything they could to alleviate my fears, I chose sedation, which went a long way to easing my anxiety and the work was all done with no issues.. Very professional, very friendly, very helpful. I will definitely be getting all of my dental work done here.. Thanks for everything!! To add on to this post from 4 years ago, I've just had more work done which took 6 hours in the chair.. At all the times, the staff made sure I was comfortable and in no pain whatsoever.. I can't say enough about how much this office cares about their patients.. Great Job!!

better late than never I was self conscious for a while about it when I got them, I got the old school metal brace which I was 26 and had them off now at 28, I felt great and it raise my confidence I must say it is well worth it and one of the best decisions I ever made, the whole thing was overall a huge positive experience and I'd highly recommend it, just be sure to wear the retainer regularly when you're done I definitely would recommend anyone and everyone to Dr. Shruti Chahal and her team for dental services. Dr. Shruti and her team treat their patients with such care, they were very professional, efficient and friendly, it's always a pleasure to stop in and leave with a smile.

Both my children were referred to Dr Chahal for their Invisalign treatment and I can not say enough positive things about this dental office. Right from the moment you walk in the door and see the smiling faces of the front desk crew, every appointment is a totally wonderful experience. The dental assistants are so patient and kind with my kids and Dr Chahal is just as lovely. She is also, very upfront regarding all costs, treatment plans and information needed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chahal and her team. I had throat surgery almost 2 years ago and have less swallowing function because of it. I was really, really nervous to get dental care again, as I was unsure what my throat would be capable of. Dr. Chahal and her team gave me control over the suction, allowed me to have breaks and give hand signals if I needed to stop. They ensured I was comfortable the entire time. About 2 weeks ago, I went to the Foothills Dentistry Clinic for my Dental Hygien appointment. I always try to reach the clinic a few minutes ahead of my appointment. This time as well, I was on time. Reception greated me warmly and asked me to take a seat as appointment prior to me was just finishing. Sure enough I went in on time, Hyginist was great (gentle and thorough) and was able to finish in time for me to get to my appointment with a client. I am always happy to return to Foothills Dentistry. They have professional and courteous staff. Thanks to Dr Chahal and her staff.

The whole staff is awesome - Melody and Deb at the front desk are always so incredibly kind and helpful. They go out of their way to figure things out if you have questions. The dental assistants are always making sure you're comfortable, and talk to you in a really friendly manner (which eases my anxiety about coming to the dentist). Dr. Chahal is very thorough and gets things done. If there's any issues or you need something touched up, she'll look into it right away. Everyone seems to get along really nicely which makes for a very calming environment.

I have been having problems with tooth sensitivity (and occasional pain) on my right side lower jaw for many years. I thought I might had to get another root canal but X-ray showed it still looks good. Then I went to this clinic for possible dental occlusion. They have state of the art technology that shows pressure points on your bite on SCREEN! The bite was adjusted accordingly and I already forgot the reason why I went to this clinic in the first place. Staff and doctor are very pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend this clinic.

I went here for my first time just before Christmas. I think the staff are great and very friendly. Place is clean also. I enjoyed the dentist and thought she was very thorough. The only thing I was disappointed in was my cleaning. I was not made aware that they did not have any hygienists on because of Covid and my dentist ended up doing the cleaning. It was the worse cleaning I ever had. I left feeling like my teeth weren't cleaned at all and a little upset because my benefits only cover a cleaning every 4 months.

I really had a great day today at the clinic. It’s all very organized and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. Dr. Shruti is very good I never feel any pain at all when she’s cleaning my teeth. I had extensive work that needed to be done. Two extractions, a removal of an old bridge which resulted in me needing a partial denture. Plus a check up, scaling, cleaning and several fillings. This was very daunting to say the least but Dr. S. Chahal and her staff treated me such kindness and professionalism which made the whole process much easier for me. I really loved the staff here. I’m a bit anxious due to the noises some of the instruments make during treatments but the staff helped to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I also absolutely love that the staff are there to help you and not shame you for any dental issues you may have. Too many dentists in the past have shaken their finger at me for not being perfect; this place does not do that. They supported me by coming up with a care plan that works for me.

Melody and Debbie are amazing! The dental hygienists and assistants are also amazing. I had one cleaning last year that was a bit messy (water gsprayed everywhere), but it was no big deal. Always thorough and want to make sure I'm comfortable and happy with everything. I've had a lot of challenges with my teeth and jaw since a motor vehicle accident and Dr. Chahal has been great since day 1!

Started my braces journey here. I have always found comfort with the staff who is not only friendly but deeply cares for their clientele. We have been going to the same dentist for years after our regular dentist retired a new one took over. I was very apprehensive about going but I swallowed my fear and went anyways. Shruti Chahal is a wonderful dentist for our whole family. She is gentle and tells it like it is. Saviors. I had spent the week trying to find emergency services to extract a broken tooth between Christmas Day and Rent is Due. This staff came in early on a fully booked day; examined, xrayed and performed extraction surgery.. All while being mindful of my tight financial space. They are friendly, and put you at ease. Fast, Efficient, Fantastic Service. Would Recommend. Will return.

I’ve been to many dentist clinics in Calgary, but from day one, Foothills really got my heart. They left me very calm about a problem I had in another dentist office and explained everything about my procedures in detail. All the employees are very helpful and friendly, even though it is far from my house, I give preference to their service.

I am very happy that I found Dr. Shruti Chahal because she has done amazing work on my teeth. I am extremely grateful and happy with how my teeth look now. Everyone is great, they always make you feel welcome and make sure to hear your concerns. I have been a patient for a few years now and will probably continue with them for longer.

Good experience however, was not really impressed with the work and attitude of the hygienist. She did not show a whole lot of emotion or sympathy with how I felt about her cleaning procedures. I was also put in charge of the suction instrument. Dr.Chahal and some of the staff are very friendly, but I question a few others.

I got my Invisalign done there about 3 years ago and saying that it was a life changing experiment is an understatement! Have been coming to this location close to 22 years. No complaint, also no upselling, which is nice not to be harassed into doing more than you can afford. I have experienced the occasional small upcharge from what is covered under a dental plan but rarely over $20. I continue to feel this way to this day.

Dr Shruti is an amazing dentist. My daughter had a tooth removed tonight and she had an amazing experience. Highly recommended as my daughter also finished her phase 1 Invisalign trays and her teeth look amazing. Also shout out to all the dental assistant as they made my daughter feel very comfortable.

Dr Chahal adjusted my bite aided by a wonderfully sophisticated piece of equipment called T Scan. Much more comprehensive than the simple tape method one normally gets following a filling or crown. My bite has never felt better…I should have had this done years ago. Thank you!
