We had the pleasure of visiting @forthetable this weekend and I’m so glad we did. The food was delicious. Bold flavours and original takes on menu items. I love the fact that Rabia didn’t decide to give her menu items a Pakistani twist, she stuck to the original flavours. We started the tasting off with the Kale and Balsamic Salad, which in my opinion was the best thing on the menu! Such bold flavours and if I could, I would be eating it every day. If anyone goes there, then they defo need to order this! (20/10) The grilled cheese toasties were stuffed with aged cheddar, and after living in the UK for over 15 years, this was the first time I had eaten cheese which tasted like my childhood. (9/10) The lemon and herb whipped ricotta with root chips was so simple but so delicious. You can really tell that they honour the ingredient in front of them. (8/10) The patatas frites are perfect for those who love their potatoes, which is defo for me. They were perfectly spiced potatoes, served with a delicious garlic sauce. My little ones loved this one! The blackened chicken tacos were fun for the kids to eat. They had fun with these ones. Bright and vibrant veggies and the sauce mellowed the chicken. Fantastic. For the fussy eaters (ie one of my little ones) the Alfredo penne with chicken hit the spot. He happy lapped it up and was ready for dessert after too :) (10/10) Onto the mains, the chicken parmesan sandwich was so yum! Apparently I’m making this at home every week for school now. The kids were happy with this sandwich. The beef burger was cooked according to our preference and the temperature was just right. Not overcooked like they usually do here in Pakistan. Rabia really understands flavours, and you can tell she has a passion for cooking, just by the flavours in her food. Onto the desserts, which are my forte, so obviously I was so excited to try them. We ordered the tiramisu and the lemon meringue pie. Both so well prepared. The flavours in the tiramisu were mellow and melded well together. The coffee flavour wasn’t overpowering and the dessert itself was light and balanced. The lemon meringue pie was so good. The pie was sour and the meringue sweet. A little adjustment in the sour of the pie, or the sweetness of the meringue can really elevate this dessert into a top dish at this restaurant. All in all, I will definitely be returning to At The Table. The wait staff were so respectful and took care of our order. With us being a large group of around 10 people and arriving around lunch time, they were swift and immaculate with the order. No delays and all the dishes reached us at the same time. Rabia’s passion for food, providing her customers with the freshest and finest ingredients and treating everyone like family will definitely help her excel here. Well done Rabia! Looking forward to more great things from you

MEW session at „For the Table“ - comparatively new Italian and Mediterranean eatery If you want to taste Mediterranean food without Desi twist, this is place for you. Food gives actual feel of effort put in making it. Chef seems stuck to original flavors Those who have tasted Rina‘s kitchen can smell the similarity as this restaurant is collaboration of Rabia and Rina‘s kitchen so Devine food topped off with an amazing ambience, interior, and very professional staff was to be expected. Front view is so typical English, color scheme is vibrant with quite basic sitting except comfortable orange wall sofas. Interior is modern & contemporary which compliments the menu. We’ve ordered a few different dishes and they were so different in terms of presentation and taste else many restaurants in Lahore offer whole menu in almost same taste . Our order : Starters: *Kale and balsamic salad :- heavenly delicious and a must try item. Fresh & crunchy presence of grapes made it even more yummy. *Patatas Fritas :- Best choice for potato lovers crispy, perfectly spiced Potato cubes were served with garlic sauce *Blackened chicken tacos :- One of the best tacos I tried in Lahore till date. Topped with Colorful veggies with juicy chicken slices at bottom. Yumm till last bite. Recommendations in Main: Beef burger :- exceptionally juicy and tender with optimal amount of spices Chicken enflame:- not in menu card but ordered on suggestions turned out good choice Steak frites Parmesan chicken with tomato linguine :- best in taste, uniqueness in making was felt easily. I ordered Shrimp aglio e olio This dish really satisfied my Italian food cravings absolutely and purely Italian without any Desi touch ( Italian pasta / spaghetti cooking time is far less than Chinese or Desi) Shrimp amount was bit less though. Tasted Heavenly For our Sweet tooth we ordered:- 18 Layered Cake Slice:- A giant slice with mouthwatering appearance Was made of Dark chocolate Irresistible taste Tiramisu:- One of the closest to my homemade tiramisu I tried out in Lahore. The flavours in the tiramisu were mellow and melded well together. The coffee flavour wasn’t overpowering and the dessert itself was light and balanced. Not to forget our drinks Sunset at 6 :- peachy soda sweat and slightly tangy was amazing in taste Seasonal sangria :- Vibrant drink with chunks of seasonal fruits. Final verdict:- A must try place Great food From starters to dessert Fresh ingredients, gourmet presentation and impeccable taste Prices are a tad bit high Staff was swift and immaculate with the order. No delays but dishes could have been served even warmer. Will definitely be going back soon

Ordered: 1x cheesy garlic bread shared platter Rs. 870 1x chicken parmesan sandwiche Rs. 1350 1x pantry pasta Rs. 1500 Fancy drink: 1x sunset at 6 Rs. 650 Small Aquafina bottle Rs. 100 5% GST. The cheesy garlic bread was very soft/ tender, brioche bread type situation, with garlic butter inside bread and mozzarella in middle stuck on plate - half of 1 star, the combination of ingredients could of been much better however the flavour was still decent. 7/10 Chicken parmesan sandwiche was actually pretty decent overall, soft brioche bun, tender chicken and a burst of flavours from the sauces and condiments inside (i think pesto if i remember correctly) 8/10 Pantry pasta was solid in the pine nut and basil pesto flavour. However, it felt like it was drowning in a sea of oil, literally dripping in oil. After finishing the dish, i felt heavy and nauseated. 6/10. Gets 6 because of the delicious flavour (if you intend to order this, you should ask them to go easy on the olive oil garnish) Sunset at 6: drink was refreshing and had a berry flavour. It's definitely a nice drink, but i feel the asking price of 650 pkr is steep unless it's made of actual frozen red berries instead of traditional syrup. Atmosphere: it was a nice small restaurant, definitely not too fancy to consider it fine - dining but has a well mannered staff and a nice ambience. Conclusions: i wouldn't revisit here anytime soon considering how many other options there are, but you never know, you might find something to eat that'll tickle your fancy. I personally just had a mild experience.

Been here twice and both times the food was really good. I ordered the pesto pappardelle which was so delicious. The pesto sauce was really flavourful and the grilled chicken it came with was tender and well seasoned. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well. It was served with a crispy garlic bread. Next I ordered the blackened chicken tacos and they were so yummy, filled with diced vegetables and a sauce that packed a punch. I really enjoyed the tacos. I ordered the taquitos and they were good, not great as the rest of the things I got. But they were fresh and crispy, served with a delicious sour cream. I ordered these with the berry drink and that was good, but a bit too sweet for me. Overall a great experience and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The place is a bit cramped, specially the top floor, but I suppose that can't be helped because of space limitations. Lighting is not very bright, so the pictures don't look as good as the food actually was. I also tried their patatas fritas, these were really flavourful and really crispy. They were coated in a spice mix and a garlic sauce. Really delicious.

The first time I visited was a year ago on December 9th, 2022. It had just recently opened at that time and it was all the hype, we tried multiple things from their menu at that time and liked it all, the pink sauce pasta was famous. But today when i visited them we ordered chicken taquitos, pink sauce pasta, alfredo pasta, chicken parmesan sandwich. The service was good, the taste was average. I don’t know how to explain this feeling that the food tasted “boring” and I might not be a pro reviewer/chef but I have been to a number of restaurants/cafes and have tried alot of things but the except for the taquitos all three dishes lacked that “wow” factor. The garlic bread with the pastas had no garlic flavor to it just felt like I was eating an oiled pc of bread. The fries with the sandwich felt a lil raw. Just one frail leaf in the sandwich and the pastas I cannot explain, they were just meh.

For the table is a little cozy place in the heart of Y block DHA. The restaurant's ambiance is modern and minimal with warm lighting. They have a limited menu but the quality of food is quite good. The star of the menu was " Pink Sauce Pasta". Ordered Items : - Blackened Chicken Tacos 4/5 ⭐ - Patatas Fristas 3.5/5 ⭐ - Chipotle Chicken Quesdilla 3.5/5 ⭐ - Pink Sauce Pasta 5/5 ⭐ - Sunset at 6 (Signature Drink) 4.5/5 ⭐ Their prices are towards the higher end. They need to add more items to the main entrees. Overall experience was satisfactory and can be revisited.

Seating is considerably uncomfortable. There was a fly buzzing around. The multiple cameras pointing at you in all directions give an unwelcome vibe that you’re meant to just come, sit straight, eat and leave. Just didn’t feel very good about it. One or two is ok. But this was a bit extreme. For the apple ginger they chose a piece of apple that ideally I wouldn’t have. Food was nice (hence the three stars). Menu is limited not that that’s an issue. Overall, probably won’t be coming back for the money value. P.S. staff was super nice and courteous. Kudos to them. 5 stars on that.

Congested seating, food quality and taste was disappointing. - Patatas Fritas were under cooked, hard to eat. Complained and then they replaced with new. - Philly Steak Sandwich, beef was also undercooked, wasn’t able to eat. Also, fries with it were burnt. - After complain about Sandwich, Complimentary dessert brownie ice cream was given but brownie was again not fresh.

Great food, service, ambiance and overall experience. We’ve ordered a few different dishes and they were so different from anything else I’ve eaten in Lahore. Quality and uniqueness were truly brilliant and taste was so good I couldn’t stop eating!! From starters to dessert, this place has everything you need; not to mention the amazing drinks! I 100% recommend everyone to try it out - Once u start u can’t stop going!

I went to this place after hearing much about how chef rabia and rina’s have collaborated for this fine dining experience. Being a lover of rina’s meant I had high expectations. To my surprise, the food turned out to be extremely disappointed. 0 value for money! The hype is mainly because of rina’s. Sorry to burst your bubble but nothing special there. 2 stars because of a nice mushroom toast and the courteous staff.

Shrimp Al Ajillo sharing plate actually served smelly shrimps. We requested a change, and the second serving was also bad. I made the mistake of assuming they would have been changed or rectified. Properly rotten! The table next to ours also returned their plate. We weren't charged, but serving such food is an actual hazard. I wonder why the management continued sending foul food to customers? Utterly disappointing food and service

I was so excited for the opening! Being a huge fan of Rabia’s “On the Table”, I was thrilled to hear she was coming out with her own restaurant! The food met every expectation! Must have in sharing platters: kale & balsamic salad, focaccia two ways, chipotle chicken taquitos, mushroom toast. Must have in pastas & entrees: pink sauce pasta, shrimp aglio e olio, chicken enflame! And for dessert the lemon meringue pie is probably the best in town.

  • Zain Rashid Mian

Excellent, original food. Had the special Burrata and pink pasta salad plus desserts. The burrata, which incorporated peaches rather than tomatoes with the cheese, was incredible. Have never had anything like it. Drinks (sunset at six plus the chocolate milkshake) were also great, as were our mains. Service was excellent. A little pricey, but really a special place I would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the food here. Came here with my friends and I wasn’t expecting the boldness of flavours as well as quality presentation. A star down only because we ordered fish which was on the menu and was actually recommended but they came back saying that it wasn’t available. The other star down is because of the pricey menu, although I do understand that is also what the competition is doing. P.S: they have beautiful tableware

  • Ali Khawaja

I got the philly cheese steak chicken parmesan sandwich. I also got two orders of pasta. Alfredo and pink pasta. The philly cheese steak is sweet and didn't have cheese in it. The chicken parmesan sandwich bread tasted bad. The pink pasta was extremely spicy. Overall a very bad experience

Really liked the menu & decor but food was below average. Burratta was very stiff, tacos were all right. Pink sauce pasta had too much sauce and cheese, shrimp was okay. Baguette was served with everything but was not properly toasted. Nothing was amazing which made me think it was not worth it. Service was pretty good l, staff was attentive.

The fit club sandwich was really good as well & the fries were the best I’ve had. Also the sunset mojito was a delight to look at & drink, & the tiramisu was the perfect ending. Definitely 10/10

Oh a breath of fresh air. Service was great to start off. The food was even better, if you are going here expect authentic flavours rather than the usual desified versions of western dishes. Pasta was great and the fish and chips were delicious. I usually ordered for delivery but finally got the chance to go in and it was a great experience.
