Been going to fords now for over a year and was so happy until I asked one girl to price match for me , she said no she offered to take one dollar off ,i declined the offer ,Apparently Ben is not the owner or manager as she stated said she won’t give as anyone can say Ben Said,Ok I let that go . But I was upset as I told her I had run out of script for ventlin inhalers ,could she give me two and I would bring script up through the week after I visit drs , She replied with SO YOU WONT ME TO GIVE YOU MEDS WITHOUT A SCRIPT, No she said you can buy over counter , I told her I’m a pensioner so get at a lower cost , she did not care, If not for a older gentleman doing the scripts after listening to all this going on responded with I ll give you one inhaler but make sure you bring script up , I have a serious breathing issue and told her ,I get numerous meds from your chemist monthly , I have never been treaded the way she treated me , So what happen to we will look after you , thanks ,Kathleen campbell

Firstly the best thing is they take centrepay. if you're on Centrelink they will allow you to pay through your centrepay. This is the best pharmacy I have ever been to in my whole entire life. I have been receiving medication daily from chemists over New South Wales and Queensland for the past 35 years dailey. Out of all of the chemists Ford's Pharmacy are the best BYFAR If you need a script you don't have enough they always try to find a way to help you. They understand social anxiety, emotional damage, depression, addiction and recovery. And they do not discriminate. Now with all the extra damage that is happening with financial aid due to coronavirus, fords pharmacy deserves the award. Thank you so much Fords

The courtesy and care I have reccejved from the team is immeasurable. Admittedly I have abused the system and treated them as an acute care team of doctors and mental health support workers This extends to both their regular staff and their students. They have a familial care presence They adress every concern or query with apt appreciation and patience of my needs and emotional state. I am addressed by my name not my coditon(s) They’re on the ball and not just behind the counter Their prices are the same if not better than chemist warehouse and you are treated with the dignity of a person with individual needs

After experiencing poor to no real service at the “warehouse” across the road & being charged up to 40% more for prescriptions at another pharmacy nearby I decided to try Fords. Since my first visit I have been delighted & surprised constantly by the level of care & customer service provided. The team go above & beyond the call of duty, there’s nothing I can fault. And the prices for prescriptions are great, non prescriptions are very reasonable. If anyone wants to learn what a caring, successful community pharmacy business across the road from a Goliath is like then this is the place to shop.

This has been my local Pharmacy for years now. Ben and Nev are absolutely wonderful. They've so much knowledge and have no problem with spending time to explain medications. They also treat customers like real people and not just faceless cash machines. I love how they take time to speak with each person and ask about how you are and what you're up to. I love how they greet most people by name. Smaller Pharmacy than the Chain Stores, but still has everything you need. Parking out the back. Great location. Fabulous Staff.

I discovered this pharmacy a year ago, and I now go there for all my things. The pharmacists and staff listen, are interested if you ask them, but they don’t intrude when they see I’m feeling in a withdrawn mood, and they just know their stuff or ask or look it up if they don’t. They’re also a really happy and friendly and empathic bunch, which makes such a difference — thanks guys. Oh, and their prices beat the others hands down.

After going to Chemist Warehouse for over a year and dealing with long queues and incompetent staff I decided to move all my recurring prescriptions to Fords. The owner said he would match all chemist warehouse prices and best of all no massive queues as Fords staff are efficient and most of all friendly. I can't reccomemd them more highly. If you have scripts at chemist warehouse take them back and move them over to Fords.

Best pharmacy in this area the staff are great and it has anything are pharmacy has to offer it's a little walk from the station and there is a bus stop outside the front door good hours and there is parking space at the area you can access from the front and the rear, the next time you need to visit a pharmacy and your in the area come and check this place out you won't be disappointed.

Nothing "discount" in their name. Was given items in a paper bag, but there was no itemised receipt inside. Checked my credit card balance and total purchases came to $162. I compared same items with other Australian pharmacies, and they roughly came to $141 in total. Markups were terrible. I'm on a HCC, so prices are important to me. Will not be going back there.

Best Pharmacy in sydney. Ben (the owner) helped me when I had serious burns and no money. I have been a loyal customer ever since. Rude, inconsiderate and terrible to deal with. Told my scrips would be going there from now on. I did not agree. Then tried to force me to switch to their chemist. Why. To be treated disrespectfully and rudely with zero common courtesy or caring about what the customer wants. STAY AWAY.

Great personal service from Lisa and Varun, a lot more friendly than the "big guy" across the road who dismissed me when the product I wanted was out of stock.. Lisa and Arun gave me alternative options that work.. They made me feel valued. Highly recommend …

Had a vaccine booked today for my wife, booked a few weeks ago. Rocked up at the appointment time to find out the have stopped offering vaccines. Of course they never bothered to call and actually tell us this. Could have booked another alternative. Very disappointed.

If you are looking for a pharmacy in Newtown, Ford's is it. Great advice and service. If they don't have a product they will order it in for you. If you don't want to trawl through endless aisles of "stuff", this is the chemist for you.

Superlative, warm and helpful service, that has an old school personable charm. However they never answer their phone so forget that. Used to be a friendly, helpful staff, now becoming stand-offish and not as eager to help.
