I’ve recently lost my mother. I used Forest Lawn for her funeral and cremation services. The place is very well taken care of. Nice and very pleasant. The staff there are amazing. The funeral director that I was working with was “KC”. Couldn’t ask for a better person to work with. She has helped me through it all from explaining the policy that I had and the whole proof what was expected. She was excellent! She deserve a well recognized award in my opinion. My experience with Forest Lawn has been easy. They were able to come out fairly promptly, and were very collected, professional; and personable. Going forward the staff members have been the same, making the process very smooth. Denise has been exceptional when speaking with her. As well as Lisa having always been helpful. When meeting with Cassie and Marcelle I felt very at ease and comfortable talking with them, and making arrangements. They were never pushy, and felt honest to me in assisting with choices specific to my situation. I certainly appreciated them being easy to have a conversation with, and their demeanors. I would go back to Forest Lawn for future needs if need be. The funeral directors can get busy and sometimes takes a bit to get a phone call/ email back, but I realize they are helping other families in their time of need.

My experience with Forrest lawn and their staff was truly amazing. The experience with my moms passing started on a very bumpy ride. Her insurance for funeral expenses was out of Arizona and the prices for services are very different up in the Northwest. The first funeral services were set up at a different place, but they denied it due to the difference in cost. Forrest lawn stepped in and took over, and did a great job making it a seamless transition. We also had issues with the death certificate but Cassandra stepped in and resolved and expedited getting the certificate from the hospital. Cassandra has also helped me with arrangments for the urn and been there for me thru the whole process

Forest Lawn is the best I have EVER worked with hands down. They took GREAT care of both of my parents and ALL that I refer to them. Cassandra herself is top of the line professional, makes the process super easy and takes the stress off of families during this difficult process. She communicates and goes above and beyond her responsibilities. My parents and friends and family always look the really good when sending the home peacefully and their team care about the presence of your loved one on their final day before being laid to rest. Forest Lawn was a beautiful, private funeral home. We were helped out by The funeral home director Cassandra Mendez. She was very kind and helpful throughout the process of planning a funeral. She was very thoughtful and truly cared for our families feelings and grief. not only was the funeral home beautiful and calming for a tough situation but the director and the staff are so kind and supportive. you should definitely consider this home if you want a nice and supported journey through planning funerals. thank you from the Garcia family.

As a clergy of 25 years, I have worked with many funeral home directors in my career. However, I am so glad to have had Casey Engle help me and my family during our personal time of loss. What a stress relief she was to me handing all the arrangements without my worry or concern. Not only did she took care of things so well, I felt like I can trust her--that she had our best interest in mind. Never did we feel pressured. Rather her accurate intuitions provided the perfect resources and care we needed.

The staff was very efficient and picked up my father in a timely matter . The were courteous and caring when they arrived. They made an appointment with me & told me what I need to bring with me. I was kept informed when things were being done. David and Vi made sure they provided me with options and pricing. They did not try to sell me something that I did not need or want. They made me feel very cared for and comfortable in a difficult situation when having a loved one pass away .

Absolutely a personal experience. Felt like I was friends with the funeral director that helped me set everything up. I had called several places at 11 pm when my mom passed away and when I called here, Cassandra made me feel like my mom was going to be taking care of with love and help with any worries I had. I felt like a friend was taking care of my mom from picking up my mom from her residence to the cremation. Absolutely will refer a friend when needed.

By far, the services provided at Forest Lawn is the best. The costs are also on point. They make sure your loved one is honored and taken care of. They also make sure we are heard and taken care of. Our family has used forest lawn for years. Most of our family has been buried there including my mom. We were charged for things we already owned. We were way overcharged for flowers and felt pressured to pay what they wanted because they basically hold the remains “hostage”. They seem to be very understaffed.
