Idris was ideal to deal with till 2 years ago. Last year he missed the appointment and didn't get back to me for a while.. this year I decided to give him another shot. The 30 minute call took less than 5 minutes.  Then he sent me the document to review and I said I'll review and get back to you. After I reviewed and sent my comments back to him I realized that he had filed the taxes already. Then went silent for almost 2 weeks and when he got back to me he said we'll amend the return first week of may. Tried getting hold of him first week of may, and no luck. He got back to me after 2 weeks saying that he will work on the file the following week. Today is may 26 and guess what? Still nothing. 2 lessons learned here, 1- this business is simply too busy now that they don't care about paying attention to details and all they care about is how many returns they can file in a day. 2- tax season is over and they don't care about what they missed filing for their clients.  I wouldn't recommend going to them. The business has gone downhill.

I do not recommend him. I filed my taxes returns in 2016, he missed my rental information that time. Last three years I used to go with Tax consultant in Toronto (since I left Winnipeg and lived there for three years). I came back 4 months back to Manitoba. My mistake is, I again filed taxes through Fortress. Total blunder, again rental missed, part of moving expenses and tuition fee also did not enter. Moreover, I got tax returns way less what he projected. I contacted my tax consultant there in Toronto with my documents; they said I would have got way more tax returns. I do not believe those stars in reviewe are really true or fake. I do not recommend them at allllll.

I have been doing my taxes with them from the past 3 years did an excellent job before but this year sadly to say i am not impressed i do get they are busy but still never attend calls and do not revert back on time with emails and on top of that screwed up my returns Filed my return this year told me that i had to pay 348$ first Then i send my friend to do it again with them or double check it again with them they said i am getting a return of 2000$ eagerly waiting for this return after a month i get an email saying i have to pay 1500$ Very sad seemed very unprofessional i hopeyou guys can fix it nd as much as i didnt want to write a bad review i have to.

Made appointment for 11 am and came to a NO SHOW -when called he was out doing a family errand and wanted us to come back later after 1pm . When said we were leaving came to appt. only to tell us he would do them if we left paperwork with him and later mail them out to us .Real joke . Will not recommend at all , I have send them documents since a week and have called them 2 to 3 times asking them if they have checked them or not but got the same answer will get u back in 24 hrs and never got a call back or any email from them.
