Purchased a gorgeous vintage ring as a gift for my wife and Fortune (Gary in particular) couldn't have been more pleasant to buy from. Not only was the listed price of the ring fair, Gary was kind enough to include sales tax, shipping, AND sizing in the final price, making it something of a bargain. And on a ring my wife had already seen and was adamant I should do everything in my power to get for her - Gary could have easily had me over a barrel on the price, but instead chose to be the better man and give me a deal! And who doesn't want to save a few bucks, right? As to the size of the ring, I knew it would be too small and needed to go up a couple of sizes. Now I was a bit freaked out about this because I wanted to be certain it went right the first time, and I spent literally days with my wife's existing collection and a caliper trying to make sure I got it right. After going back and forth a couple of times over whether to go 9 or 9.25 I eventually decided on 9. Gary even told me that I could ship the ring back for resizing if I'd gotten it wrong (it turned out that I was bang on). Another concern is how "new" a 30-40 year old ring could look and, as it turned out, I needn't have worried - I don't know if this was carefully purchased by Fortune or if they restored it to perfection, but the ring is spectacular. You can't even tell where gold has been added for the resizing. Communication was stellar, sizing was quick, and shipping was 2nd day air via UPS. Overall, an extremely nice buying experience.

Extremely unprofessional. I dropped off a heart pendant to be engraved front and back on Sunday around noon and I couldn't wait around for an hour so I asked the guy if they're open tomorrow and he said yes I'll be open at 10:30am.. fine. I come back the next day around 10:50am and they're not open so I call the number on the awning and he tells me 40 minutes he'll be there to open.. fine. I call back around 11:32am he tells me I'll be there in 5 minutes.. fine. I call back around 11:42am as I see him coming towards the store. He greets me with "You see we're not open Mondays." Oh? So why tell me to come back "tomorrow at 10:30?" Why not just say we're not open tomorrow, can you come back Tuesday? I tell him that and I said you're wasting my time. I went in the store for 30 seconds just to check out the pendant, pay him his money and leave. The job was done (engraving the pendant) but the service was absolutely HORRENDOUS. I wouldn't come back here if they do their work for free.

I was a customer of this lovely store and it's owners for about 3 years before I've relocated to another state and I miss them a great deal.Not only I have purchased there a beautiful jewelry and had all my old peaces repaired, restored and adjusted, I also made a new friends. Very nice store and the owners: highly professional, friendly and welcoming. They have a great choice of jewelry for any occasion and event. The owners will give a you an advise, show you different options and can also repair, change size and simply make your jewelry look like new! I highly recommend this store for everyone who wants to look great and confident or just needs to by a nice and elegant gift for any occasion.

My husband and I went for an upgrade on my engagement ring diamond. Joe sold us something very nice and I had it for about 2 weeks but I wasn't 100% happy with it (don't get me wrong it was beautiful) but I wanted something with a little more sparkle. We went back and Joe patiently showed us at least 5 diamonds, letting me take it in different light in the store to examine them, patiently explaining every detail to me, even letting me look at them with his eye loop. We finally found the perfect one for me which he expertly placed in my engagement ring after polishing and shining both. Pictures don't do it justice!They're the BEST!!

Great place!! I live in Brooklyn and a friend of mine recommended that I go visit Joe on Staten Island. I'm happy to say I didn't leave disappointed. My girlfriend lost one of her earrings and she was very upset about it. I wanted to surprise her by making a duplicate earring as well as a matching pendent. I was skeptical at first and didn't know how it would turn out but joe reassured me that he would do a good job. It came out great and she loved it. I will definitely be coming back!

I love this place. It is run by a Russian couple. The wife is very clever with giving advises and suggesting nice jewelry. The husband is very talented at making jewelry. Every time I go there I end up buying something. They tend to have rare pieces as well. They carry costume and regular jewelry.
