I am not one to post reviews, and have lived under a different property manager every year the last 7 years. I have never had a worse experience than at 4111 rawlins st. First, our cars were broken into and garage was raided through. Not necessarily the property managements fault but still a bad experience. However, our clickers to get in the gate never worked, and every time it rained the key pads would go out so we would have to hop the fence for about a week each time. You can't get in and had to park on street. Our HVAC went out, and they didn't have someone out there for 10 days. We worked from home so in July this was unbearable. All of our indoor plants died. Then they get the HVAC fixed, but some sort of damage was done which caused leaking, which was not fixed until we moved out. This caused mold on the bottom floor which made my roommate sick and he had to throw away half his closet. We were told no refunds here by maintenance because there was not pictures before throwing out - fair. But this also caused damage to carpet that we were later charged for even though they were going to have to replace it. It also caused stains and damage under our kitchen sink, which we were later charged for "not cleaning". The internet must go through Spectrum because of some contract the property has - we went through 4 modems, none of them ever worked properly during the day when we needed to work. Had to use hot spots and VPNs most of the time. Our units balcony was over the dog run. The dog run would pile up with feces because the trash can was never serviced and bags were never replaced. We had an infestation of flies for most of the summer. Two toilets went out from the leakage from the HVAC about a month out from moving. Maintenance said a plumber would come fix, however they were not fixed the whole last month there. The toilets were removed from the pipes they sat on, so those two rooms had a terrible stench the last month we lived there. The water sat in the bowls and feces was splattered around the bottom. We were later charged for this for "not cleaning." The toilets still didn't work. Moving out we were charged over $1,200 for damages, some of which was not our fault. There were a few things that we didn't do the best job on, but we assumed if we brought up the truth about many of the things they would do the right thing. Emily with Fowler Property Management would not respond to emails or call us back, and was very unpleasant when she did respond. Maintenance was very nice, they just never knew what was going on because management was run poorly. I would not recommend living at a property managed by Fowler Property Management.
FIFTEEN FORTY APARTMENTS The buildings are on rotten wood falling apart. The rent is stupid high without any real reason why. You have to have renters insurance and theirs and the answer is just because. Indio sold to FMP (who hasn't had the office open since they took over 1/17/22 effective immediately), can't pay online until 2/1 and online interact via email. Their site isn't even up that they have advertised bow outside. ***Update*** Buildings are still falling apart , so please ignore the everything gorgeous. Office staff is still rude, never answers phone. There is hardly anyway to get in contact with them. There is no property email and the app only let's you put in a matinence request or move out. Also trash hasn't been picked up by valet trash in days and after speaking with them the office has to call the city to come dump the dumpsters and then services will resume. Until then we are all paying for a suspended amenity per Valet Living so basically money is being stolen from us since it's included in rent. Uploading new pics of them covering the rotten wood instead if actually fixing. Do not move here the 1400 + is definitely not worth it. We aren't safe, the gates stay open, there is no security, doors have gotten kicked in and after reporting office waited weeks to do something
Let's start by saying that I'm not the type to complain and learning how to take care of a home has always been a desire of mine however renting from Fowler property has been a total headache and strain. I've been in my residency for almost 3yrs now and it's been problem after problem. Mostly things that my awesome father and I have been able to manage but when renting from any property management or apartments,it's their job to ensure that your home is in good living conditions. Not Fowler. From my first experience to now,I've had to ride their backs about every maintenance request I've put in. From the AC/Heating to the rodents, and now the plumbing. Not to mention the mold and mildew that my asthmatic children are being forced to breathe everyday. I urge you to really consider and investigate your choice of property and the company before renting. You just might dread it.If you're okay with no call backs and having to constantly ride someone to do their job then Fowler is the place for you,but if you valve good costumer service and you are a good tenant than please reconsider before signing a lease with Fowler property management.
I did not move into my unit because of a miscommunication that I had with the property manager which her name is Emily. I was informed that I’ll pay my first month rent as a deposit which was 1395 which was OK then she calls and tell me that I have to pay additional 1395 for a first month rent, but I was moving in towards the end of September. I was supposed to pay $95 because that what is shows on the portal that I download. For when I pay my rent, I asked several different agencies to transfer me to a manager that’s over them they refuse to. I will not recommend nobody to rent a property out with them because of the miscommunication that me and Miss Emily had I was very disappointed because I couldn’t move into my first apartment due to miscommunication, I explained to Emily that on the portal that I Downlow where I was supposed to be paying my rent that it shows that my program rent was $95 not 1395
Everyone, please listen to this. If you own Real Estate, you need Fowler to manage it. Period. Emily Gianforte is the most fantastic property manager I have ever had. She is personable and funny but can be touch as nails when she is protecting your interests. She is smart and efficient and best of all, she follows through and always goes the extra mile. That is almost impossible to find nowadays. She has a great sense of humor and is optimistic, but is the consummate professional at her job. Can't give her a high enough rating. On a scale of 1 to 10 she is a 100 plus. The Company is growing by leaps and bounds but is able to maintain quality representation. In six months they entirely changed my buildings around. Most of all, this Company is HONEST and LOYAL. I can sleep at night knowing that my investments are safe and secure.
You may have good experience until you move out but move out charges are ridiculous. We are still fighting the charges for more than one year in court and heard from our friends that they charged most of the same issues to the next tenant as well. Be ready to lose your entire deposit and pay from your pocket if you rent a property from them. Update after the response from owner. If you would have addressed our concern on time, we wouldn't have to go to court to settle the same and fighting our rights for last one year. Emiley was not reachable on phone and never responded back to us. Please don't try to be nice on social media, expecting the same when you treat the tenants once they moved out. Professionalism is treating the customer always right, not depending on what side you are.
Horrible Landlord. They wanted everybody out of both buildings so they evicted everyone. I was being evicted even though they were aware i was preapproved for rental assistance thru Kansas. not only did they continue with eviction after refusing to accept the payment from Kansas but they got a judgement and then the very next day called and wanted to all of a sudden be paid again from Kansas. part of the agreement for them to accept funds from kera says that they will not evict me. they went around this and they are very shady people. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. i was given 15 min notice by the sherif to get my stuff and get out and then have been homeless now since 9/20/22. Don't rent from them.
This was my first big solo move to a new city and I was very nervous. Of course it turned into a fiasco where if it could wrong it would. When I ran into a personal concern with my property that truly seemed to be an “end-all-be-all” situation to an anxious & scared newcomer, Fowler Property reacted promptly, efficiently, & truly went above and beyond in making sure that it was not only resolved, but that I had everything I needed moving forward. Truly exceptional service & turn around time considering my past experiences with property management companies. Special thanks to Emily, Blake & Kia for making my chaotic transition to Dallas so so much better. I feel both safe & happy. What more could you ask for
Poor experience with this management company. First time living in an apartment and it has not been a great experience working with Fowler. They do not take management of their properties seriously. All maintenance requests are ignored, no one answers the phone when you call, there is no security on our property with functioning locked gates (5114 Bryan St), it’s disgusting and unkept around the property, the cameras don’t work, and the list goes on and on. Poor excuse for a management company and won’t be renewing my lease.
Former owner of a property managed by these crooks, kept raising HOA prices without doing a thing. Elevator broke for literally 1 year, while elders and movers had to take starts everything else was trashed. Maintenance around property was not existent, dirt, 0 landscaping, broken tiles in the hallway to name a few. Nothing was ever their responsibility and for almost $400 a month this was literally a legal robbery. Life lesson learned. Never again will have a HOA. I literally sold my condo to end this nightmare.
As a landlord, I have had a solid experience with Fowler PM these past few years. Recently, my house was broken into (between tenants), and the support I received during that time was reassuring. The team was quick to respond, helping secure the property and assisting efficiently with the necessary admin work. Their help during a stressful time was genuinely appreciated. Special shout out to Emily and Damion for being reliable points of contact, being easily available and overall fantastic job so far.
Renting from Fowler has been an overall positive experience for me, I’ve never had any problems with my apartment. They take immaculate care of the building, inside and out. Overall, speaking with Emily is like speaking with a real human instead of someone just reading a script, which is just refreshing to say the very least. She is genuine, personable, and showed me the utmost respect with every conversation we’ve had. I can only hope that Fowler appreciates her as much as I do!
I am officially back in the market for an apartment, since it’s been so long for me shopping for apartments I came across Fowler Property Management and their Leasing Specialist Kia was very informative, kind, and knowledgeable about all the properties we toured and I can say she has made my apartment search easy and very smooth. Excited to be moving into my new home come the new year. Thank you Kia and the Fowler team for everything.
Update: I was contacted out of the blue by Blake to follow up on the review I left below. He was understanding and refunded the $150 I spent on app fees. While my initial experience was poor they seem to be doing the right thing now. Initial review: Very poor communication. Spent $150 for application fees and waited over a month to find out they had approved somebody else. I only found out after asking. Waste of time and money.
Only good things to say... Great attitudes, knowledgeable, Great communication, always ready to help. We've been utilizing their services for over a year now and they are easily the best property management company we've worked with. Their manager app is miles ahead of what we were previously used to and you can tell a lot of work goes into it. Clean and concise, it's just a really good example of how this experience should be.
Working with Fowler Property Management was a dream come true. They made everything so easy when it came to renting our property. I don't think we could've found a better property management company. Then, when the time came to sell, they stepped up again and got our property sold quickly and at the right price. If we ever have another property in DFW, we're only calling Fowler Property Management.
Blake and his team are phenomenal at managing Commercial Properties (Apartments, Homeowner Associations, Retail, etc.). They have managed our HOA for several years and he has done a great of putting us back on track. I cannot thank him enough! If you have not re-evaluated your Property Management needs, I highly recommend you reach out and have a conversation with Blake.
Out of all the experiences I have ever shared with a realtor, I can say with a hundred percent certainty that this was the best interaction I have ever had! Professional and diligent in giving me all the knowledge I needed to feel secure and happy with my decision. I’m forever thankful for Kia! She took me to many places and ensured that I would find my perfect home :)!
Blake and his team are awesome to work with. He provides updates, end of month reports, online landlord portal, invoices and streamlined documentation that makes it so much easier. They'll get the checks deposited on time and make the experience very seamless. He is super responsive to requests and always willing to help and guide if needed. I recommend his work!
I've had Fowler PM manage our condo unit for the past few years, and my experience so far has been great. Prompt response to maintenance requests, semi-annual meetings to see how things are going, and strong tenant retention rate are a few of the reasons as to why. Looking forward to working with them for years to come!
Fowler PM manages 3 properties for me here in Dallas. He is very professional and has a great team under him. He was able to work through a large value add transition and GC the work which ended up really working out well for me and our investors. I'd highly recommend Fowler for your HOA and Multi-Family investments.
Just started living under their management - sent maintenance man Elliot the day after thanksgiving. Couldn’t have asked for quicker or better help - got my appliance situation sorted very quickly and efficiently, was very respectful of my home. Happy to be here would 10/10 recommend others to lease with Fowler.
I've had a great experience with Fowler Proper Management. My property manager, Erin, is consistently responsive to my requests, making the overall experience highly positive. The prompt and efficient service has contributed significantly to my satisfaction as a tenant since I’ve had bad experiences before.
Great company even better ppl also special s/o to Blake he took care of my brother with his apartment parking issues with no problem great guy to talk w/anything needing help for the properties excellent customer service thank you F.P.M. Will recommend to others fosho! …
Fowler Property Management is amazing! They manage our family’s residential properties around Dallas. Emily is always there when we need something and keeps us updated on what’s going on with our units! I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a property manager!
My experience with Fowler Property Management was positive. Though I ultimately decided on a property elsewhere, FPM was nevertheless helpful in my search, and the communication/flexibility was good. I would go back to them if I end up in the rental market again.
Fowler Property Management is good, however the real star there is Emily G. Whatever you need, she is on it. She is always responsive and also isn’t afraid to tell you like it is. True professional through and through.
Property management is very unprofessional and unorganized. Units are very unclean even though they say they are move in ready… they are not! Property manager does not give necessary information for new tenants.
Fowler Property Management has been amazing to work with. I was transferred to Dallas and my apartment fell through. I reached out on a Tuesday and they had me in an apartment by Thursday. Such an amazing team!
Management works hard to maintain the properties and is respectful and attentive to their tenants. Very professional, efficient and overall nice people! I highly recommend Fowler Property Management.
It’s been wonderful! The owner along with his top staff I have dealt with has been great! Blake, Denise, Emily and Erin are their top people and you can’t ask for anyone better than they are!
Blake and Fowler Property Management are fantastic, hands-on managers of property and transactions! I've never worked with better in my decades in the commercial real estate business!!
My experience so far with this company has been positive. My stuff gets fixed pretty quick when I have an issue. Property is mowed and stuff on the regular, looks good. Good company.
The worst management company, period!Stay away from any property managed by these people, they only want to make a profit and don't care about the property.Just the worst!!
Rented a property managed by FPM for a couple years. The team is very helpful, responsive, and on top of things. Special thanks to Don for all his help with repairs.
Fowler Management is exceptional at what they do. Respectful, responsive and overall experts in property management. The resident experience matters.
It’s nice to have a management company that actually cares about its residents. Maintenance is quick to fix things and always very friendly.
Kia was so patient and kind with me and all of my questions. I would most definitely recommend my friends and family to her .
*Current resident* Complex is a hidden gem within Arlington, Texas. Maintenance has a guy who is an asset sent from above!
The people at Fowler are very professional and easy to work with, made sure my concerns were addressed and taken care of!
These guys are great! They leased and managed my home for 3 years until the market picked up and it was time to sell.
