Update June 2023: Much better experience all round. Disappointing visit. Have visited many times before and had both good service and food. I dont know whether the server was having a bad day or an indication of an overall fallen quality. Arrived and was not offered outside seating. When we arrived there were outside diners but none later when we left. We were shown a table near back of restaraunt where we were hidden from view. Extremely warm and flickering lights. 10 minutes later we eventually had drinks orders taken along with food. One dish was incorrect when if strived both dishes were taken away. Corrected dish arrived 10 minutes later and it appeared the.other dish was re-heated. Food was very good - Stiry Fry and Chocolate pancakes. After a further delay Apple Pie was ordered with ice cream. This arrived minus a spoon. server was asked for one but it never arrived. When bill was presented, server saw an error and went away to correct it but got this wrong yet again so she disappeared to correct if again. Eventually successfully paid by card. We were left to print own receipt. Mo acknowledgement of payment or goodbyes. We left the restaraunt feeling very disappointed. The food was very good but service appalling. I do hope this was a one-off.

Thought I would try a different spot while in Toronto for today and Fran's seemed like a good option , it definitely was. Very busy( as expected on a Saturday around noon ish ). Was greeted at the door and asked for how many ( one ) and promptly seated at a nice window table .Was immediately given a menu and I ordered coffee and scanned the menu as my coffee made its quick arrival. Asked if the liver & onions were popular ( if so they're likely to be fresh ). Ordered the liver & onions and asked by my server how would I like it done , mid rare I said , are mash okay? You bet ! My food arrived in about 8/ 10 minutes , pretty fast. Honestly, I've had way better liver ( sixth street grill in New Westminster BC) .This was dry at one end and mid rare at the other so....HP sauce to the rescue ! The mash were really good and the veg well, I don't care bout the veg.(They were from a frozen bag btw , yuck ). The service was fantastic! The server came back 3 times to fill my coffee and ask how everything was. I'm coming back to try other items. Liver shouldn't be the standard used anywhere to rate a restaurant LoL!

Was sat in a seat by the kitchen/staff area, sandwiched between that and some kind of server's cabinet. The view of the dingy hallway and sounds of the kitchen were terrible and dominated what little atmosphere the setting provides. We were not willing to spend $60+ between the two of us for that environment. When we asked if we could be sat just 3 tables over, we were sassily told that section was closed. When we asked if there was another table that was available, the waiter went away and returned to tell us that those tables belonged to another server or were reserved. We were polite with our requests and were met with the attitude of a server who seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but working there. There was zero effort to resolve our issue or find out what was wrong. We voted with our wallet and found another restaurant nearby that had a better atmosphere and a server who seemed to care about their job.

Food: My spouse had the two-egg traditional breakfast with farmer's sausage and soft-poached eggs, which was delicious, with everything cooked and seasoned to perfection. The home fries were spectacular but we were given sufficient quantity for probably three people (!) with her meal. I had the banana waffle which was wonderfully light and fluffy, served with fresh fruit. We each also had coffee and orange juice; the coffee was very strong, nearly pitch black, and exactly what one would want from 24/7 diner. Service: Perfect. Prompt and friendly; not super personal but that's exactly what we wanted anyway. Atmosphere: Slightly generic but comfortable nonetheless; not too loud or to crowded when we went (~9am on a Sunday).

Dropped by Fran's for a bite before Nuit Blanche. The server was exceptionally friendly and welcoming (forgot her name but she's the Vietnamese lady). My friend and I ordered the Original Shepherd's Pie, Chicken Fingers (tossed in BBQ sauce), and a side of fried mozzarella Cheese Sticks. The Shepherd's Pie was good but not great--it had a wonderful combination of textures from the ground meat and creamy mashed potatoes but lacked flavour (luckily some salt and pepper did the trick!). Ironically, I found the side of vegetables to be a bit over-seasoned lol. The Chicken Fingers were good--crispy with a nice tangy BBQ sauce on the outside, tender on the inside. Cheese Sticks were decent. The atmosphere was nice and cozy with the classic Fran's decor. Overall, a good vintage Toronto diner.

Food was good nothing super spectacular just your average breakfast restaurant. I Recommend the tater tots and pancakes. Portions were decent for the price. My only complaint is the lack of communication by the server for extra charges on food. I ordered a kids breakfast for my son which comes with a drink for $8.99. When I told them orange juice there was no mention of an extra charge for the orange juice. When we got our bill the orange juice was an extra $6 for a kids orange juice. Seems a little much for the drink to be almost as much as the breakfast. Also their bathroom setup is a little odd. You must enter a code to enter the back area of the restaurant and it's basically a unisex bathroom.

So i was left with deception when i went and order a salmon salad! I ordered one time before few months ago and it was Steak and egg medium rare. I was so surprised my food was amazing. The steak perfectly cooked! So i went last night by foot as im 300m away. I taught maybe the salmon would be fresh and i would enjoy it like the steak. First bite i knew it was a bad idea. Frozen salmon and i really think it was cooked and freezed. It made no sense the salmon was so dry I couldn’t finish it. The salad itself was ok. Pretty easy to misse. But all together a waste of money. And money is precious now. So i had at least ordered a steak again that saved my dinner time. Do not spend any money on seafood there at this point i was sad. A place open for 80 years! Can make a simple grilled salmon salad.........Stick to the steak and eggs. They mastered that.

Came here for brunch with my friends and it was moderately busy. I really enjoyed the décor and thought it had a cute diner-from-the-movies type of vibe. The waitress that took care of our table was really nice and attentive, her presence was almost like a ball of happiness whenever she came by to check up on us and fill up our 'bottomless' coffees. The food looked aesthetically pleasing and tasted pretty good, although the bread/pancakes I had looked pretty burnt. I had to take a box for my leftovers because I ordered The Big Breakfast and the dish definitely lived up to its name. I definitely want to come back again to try the other things on their menu because they all sounded so good. Overall: Food: 8 out of 10 Staff: 8 out of 10 Décor/Atmosphere: 7 out of 10

Fran's Restaurant was a great visit for brunch. They are open 24 hours and have a wide selection on their menu, all of which looked delicious. My party had The Big Breakfast, The Famous Club and the Meatloaf. The portion sizes were generous, as well, which is always a bonus and the prices were very fair. The only thing I'd like to state for new guests is that the washrooms are unisex. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, it was just a surprise and something different from my personal experience. The staff on site were very friendly and welcoming. They truly provided service with a smile. :) If I'm in the area again, I will definitely be back!

Fran's is a Toronto institution, but this location has become really rundown. It needs a real update, since it's painfully obvious that things haven't been kept up. All one has to do is visit the College St location to compare and see what decent upkeep looks like. It also hurts that they only do take-out overnight now. I'm a local and I can tell you they're the only diner in the neighbourhood. Such a letdown. Service is lacking most times as well, if you like your coffee topped up and other personal attention. There are only two good servers and they both happen to be men. On the bright side, breakfast always tastes good and is usually prepared quite fast.

A 24/7 diner spot with really great service and good diner classics. Fran’s diner has been around FOR YEARS and is a Toronto gem. This spot features diner classics and does it well. Their menu includes all day breakfast, sandwiches, cheap drinks and milkshakes. I enjoyed the grilled chicken and apple club sandwich i ordered. It was stacked and tasty. This was a great spot to stop by after a show at the Ed Mirvish theatre and was a very satisfying meal. I did enjoy the hospitality and how friendly our server was. If I was ever in the area again and looking for a late night spot i totally would drop by. The food wasn’t mind blowing but for the price point and the diner vibe that I personally adore I would come back. I left satisfied and very full and sometimes that’s all you really need.

We went on a Tuesday night around 7:00 pm. The restaurant was full, so we had to wait about five minutes. Service was decent all around, nothing amazing or terrible. I ordered the liver and onions, and my partner the chicken and waffles. The liver and onions was a small dish that seemed quite healthy actually, although the taste was just ok. The chicken and waffles was quite tasty, but much lower on the health scale as expected. This place is pretty amazing overall for the price and convenience (24/7), but it's nothing outstanding. Definitely ranks above the likes of Denny's (at least the locations I have visited), and my trips to different Frans locations has been very consistent. I would definitely come here again for a quick and cheap bite in a casual spot.

The Stalwart Fran's has been cheerfully open through all we've lived through offering great classic diner specials at this downtown location at Shuter & Victoria, such as the pictured delicious Haddock Fish & Chips and Rainbow Benedict. The indoor space is comfortable and airy with a variety of seating arrangements - bar, booths, tables and the service is friendly, efficient and accommodating. A classic success that keeps on giving! The only change is that it's no longer 24 hours as posted, closing from 23:00 to 07:00.

Fran’s is a cool, comfort diner to please almost any appetite. They have breakfast lunch and dinner options, along with dessert available 24 hrs a day. I found the place while searching for chili for my dinner and here it’s a huge meal that doesn’t need a salad to compliment your dinner pangs. The chili has meat, tomatoes, carrots, celery, and kidney beans. There are enough spices to make you notice but smooth enough to the palate to go down and fill your belly. I find that Caesar salad is best with fresh squeezed lemon on it and way too much food if you’ve ordered chili or another hearty meal (the regular size is pretty big). We managed to make room for a warm rice pudding and it was delicious! Try this place...you’ll enjoy it.

Great place to dine if you are visiting from out of country. The brunch was busier than usual during my visit but the order was filled as me and my friend requested. The chicken and waffles here were delicious to say the least. The food was warm and the service was fantastic. The interior of the diner has the 1950s vibe and the external area is great for pictures since it is in the downtown Toronto District. This alongside, other restaurants in the area are always visited by myself and my colleagues when we come to Toronto. There are multiple entrees that fill that hunger for Weekend brunches. The service is great and everyone is happy to be at work, ready to assist all patrons.

I was impressed! When looking at places to have breakfast before ending our weekend in Toronto, I found Frans. It was busy and we were quickly seated at a table close to the door. Our waiter was nice and efficient, though we waited a bit with empty water glasses. I got the braised beef eggs benedict and it was phenomenal! I've never had anything like it. Tender, well seasoned pot roast under 2 eggs and some hollandaise and the best potatoes ever! Husband got the big breakfast and it was enough that we could have easily shared it! He left so much on his plate but it was tasty and he was impressed.

I have always been a huge fan of Frans Restaurant. Personally, my favourite location is the one at College. This is a strong second. The location is decently sized without being too overwhelming. The food is always consistently tasty and hot. The service is very quick. Usually, the wait staff are very pleasant. I have gotten the odd person who seems to be having not the greatest day. It’s never been bad enough to lower my rating. I really recommend Fran’s for a casual break, lunch, dinner, or (my fave!) breakfast for dinner.

If you're looking for an imaginative greasy spoon restaurant than this is your joint. I ended up ordering the croissant omelette which is exactly as described with an omelet being draped over a croissant, I don't believe that the croissants are baked in house nor are they fresh as it looks like a store-bought croissant which is just had some egg poured over top of it. The potatoes were okay as good as any other Diner you've been to, the staff is incredibly nice. My server was named Emily and she's very nice and prompt, the management is a little bit weird as they seem to be heavily micromanaging The waiting staff there. The manager ended up actually bringing out my food.

Really good breakfast food. We both had "The Big Breakfast" and really enjoyed it. We were also able to sit outside which is a huge plus for me. Staff were really friendly and prices were also pretty reasonable! Only negatives were: 1. No real maple syrup, and 2. the table top was broken causing it to shift around any time we put weight on it.

Fran's is a Toronto staple. They offer ample portions at very reasonable prices. This is very much a classic diner experience from the decor to the home-like feel of the cooking. You won't get mind-blowing cuisine, but you will receive a consistently tasty breakfast and great service! This is a good place to go with friends as even though the restaurant capacity is quite large, the relative separation of the booths makes it easy to converse. There are options throughout the menu to fit any dietary restrictions your party may have.

I heard about this place and was told to try it out for breakfast, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty (cheese omelette which came with toast and fried potatoes) and the service was stellar. Really friendly and helpful staff made my visit all the more enjoyable. My 4 star rating for the food was only because the coffee was acceptable and not amazing, but I'm from Melbourne so have high standards for coffee. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

Perfect "homey" healthy comfort food, perfect atmosphere - and exceptionally perfect staff! Hostess dealt with patience, grace and efficiency with a massive influx of customers pouring in after a show. Servers were sweet, natural, personable and amazing in so many ways. Somehow balanced sharing personal anecdotes without seeming rushed - yet keeping up with serving tables simultaneously. Thank you, Frans, for providing a perfect closing to a great night out for me and my dear friend. I wish I knew the names of the staff so that I could personally commend them here.

Came with a couple of friends to grab an early dinner before a concert, and we all ordered the chicken & waffles. Our server was friendly, and our food was served without too much of a wait, and it came out hot. The chicken was tender and juicy, and was seasoned pretty well. The waffle tasted good, but I think it could've been a bit thicker and slightly more crispy. Overall a good experience, and I'll definitely be back again at some point.

Wow I was surprised that this restaurant was super good! We have waited for a while to get in, seems like they‘ve been super busy since 5am. Lots of ppl and the restaurant was pretty crowded but their service was super good. After we got the table and everything just went fast and smooth. We also didn’t wait for long time to get our food, which was a plus. Love the servers, they were nice and friendly! Fast service too! The food we got was steak and eggs and corn beef Benedict. Both were super tasty! The price was decent too. Def wanna go back sometimes!

Had brunch while waiting for a family member to have surgery at St Mike's hospital next door. Helped take my mind off! Food was great, though the banana waffle I ordered wasn't available, the walnut one was delish. Was a bit sad that I was still charged the difference in price for the pricier walnut dish, but it WAS what I asked for as my second choice, so that's on me! But the food arrived so fast, the service was fantastic, I forgot that detail fairly quickly.

Ordered for take out at the bar, got the 5 cheese Mac and the chilli. Service was very fast and food came out in under 15 minutes despite things looking busy in there. Mac and cheese was so good devoured in under 10 min. Unfortunately the chilli was not the best - carrots and celery pieces were too big and not cooked enough, didn’t end up finishing it. I will go back to try the meatloaf as it’s a big menu and I know not everything is gonna be a winner.

Finally tried Fran’s breakfast and it was amazing. I had the chorizo (chorizo, hash and onions) scramble with scrambled eggs, home fries and rye toast. The chorizo scramble was amazing I could have that with anything (salad, rice, pasta, bun) the home fries were super fresh and crispy, the eggs were delicious and the toast was good (a little crunchier than I like but good). The coffee was good too. The service was great and restaurant was clean and homey. Will definitely return and strongly recommend!

I came for breakfast. I ordered the Canadian Benedictine plate. Because of my allergy to fish and seafood, the breakfast potatoes were not accessible to me because they are fried in the same oil. The cook have prepared homemade potatoes exclusively for me and it was very much appreciated. The waitress was very nice and the service was very fast. I enjoyed my experience very much. I'm giving 4 stars because a second fryer for people like me with allergies would appreciate the place even more. p.s: The carrot cake is very good too.

This place used to be the best. Had a hamburger and it was just OK, nothing outstanding. Our daughter ordered a chicken burger and sweet potato fries. We noticed the server was not writing anything down and when we asked, he said he remembered everything. Well, apparently not cause when he brought our dinners, her dinner included regular fries. So either he gave the order wrong to the kitchen or didn't notice it was wrong when delivering the meal. Also, disappointed that they charge for BBQ sauce. Very cheap move.

Fran's is one of my favourite places to eat in TO. I love the ambience and the extensive menu, which is moderately priced. It's always a joy to see the exterior of Massey Hall when visiting this location as well. My server on this visit was exceptionally friendly and they were able to seat me immediately on a Sunday around 1pm. Although I've always been happy with my meals at Fran's, I found the plating for the chicken and waffles sort of small and sad looking. It was tasty tho and I did enjoy the pie.

Amazing people! They made me and my husband feel very comfortable with the great service and food provided to both of us. My husband uses a wheelchair and the server and other employees helped him to access the washroom and even helped us by opening the door at the entrance of the restaurant so we could go in without any difficulties with the wheelchair and they also did the same on our way out. Such caring people working there and the food is amazing too!

WOW! That's the first word that comes to mind after enjoying a delicious breakfast at Fran's. We are visiting the city for a few days and I was looking for a breakfast spot near our hotel. Fran's did not disappoint. Portion sizes are very large, the food tastes great and the staff were super polite. We went on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. I've been here many times over the years but I started frequenting this establishment more, ever since I started living nearby. This Frans lacks all the diner nostalgia of the original, a place I spent a lot of time at in college. I found it far too modern/cold/austere looking with none of the retro feel, other than the sign. The food was decent but not the quantity I remember from the original. I did appreciate the unisex washroom but it needed a deep cleaning.

The food was pretty good . The ribs had a good flavour and meat on them . The chicken flavour was good too. But the cake was overpriced. The carrot cake cost $8.95 for a slice of it. The waiter was nice she attentive to detail . The portions were good . Overall 7.5/10. The location is good it’s near eaton centre . It’s open late too so that’s nice . It also has all day breakfast. The restaurant advertises as a 24 hour restaurant. I went there at 3:30 am and you could open the door and stand at the second door where a table was blocking the entrance with a menu on it. I guess you were supposed to be able to order to go if you could get the attention of the staff. I was unable to get the attention of the person I saw on his cell phone. I was looking for a restaurant that I could sit down and eat breakfast at in the middle of the night, this is not it.

Honestly I would give this place a 3.5 and it can potentially be a 4 but we may need to order something different next time. My other half ordered chicken and waffles and the batter was different than what we expected, similar to fish and chips. My eggs benedict was good, but barely tasted the pea-meal bacon, almost forgot it was a part of it. Home fries was hot and yummy. Can’t go wrong with bottomless coffee! ☕️ Really cute decor with the retro vibes and ruby glittery chairs!

My brother is in St Mikes Hosp across from FRANS restaurant. The service was friendly on the phone when I ordered, food was quick. When I picked up our food the young lad that looked after my order was friendly, helpful and I appreciated that A LOT! Food was great tasting and portions were awesome! We had chicken parmigiana and a club house. P.S. my brother loved his coconut cream pie! Thank you

Fran's Restaurant, a western restaurant, makes a surprisingly good orange juice chicken rice dish. The chicken is thinly sliced, coated in flour and fried to a crispy texture. Unfortunately, when soaked in the sauce for too long, it becomes a bit sour and greasy. The sweet and sour sauce itself is decent, and dipping the chicken in the sauce separately might better suit my taste. The mocha looks ordinary, but tastes pretty good with a strong chocolate flavor and not too sweet.

  • Steven Branco

Great food, service is mediocre. But I wouldn’t blame the staff, just many times spread thin. Management clearly doesn’t plan properly. I’ve walked in before and just see staff running around. But, the food makes up for it. In my mind, some of the best wholesome breakfast/brunch in town. The Canadian Benny’s are one of my favourites and highly recommended, and the side breakfast potatoes are cooked perfectly, and so delicious. If you’re daring, ask for extra hollandaise too!

First time here but liked the diner vibe so thought we'd give it a try before heading to the Mirvish Theater. Pretty straight forward diner menu that you'd expect from an all day breakfast place. Service was top notch and food was really good. Definitely worth a visit and we'll hit this place again when in the area.

Pretty good diner food. Very good prices, especially for downtown. Our server was really great. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name, but I was sitting at a high top near the door. Young blonde kid. The only issue is that the host needs to work on greeting people.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning with a few people, and the service was great. The food is very well priced for the portion size, and the food comes out pretty quick once ordered. The quality of the food is good. This is definitely a great place for dining at any time of the day since they’re open 24/7 and they have a lot of options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Portions are small, came out of microwave way too hot. I went to the washroom in this establishment and found a person of the opposite sex in there, apparently there is only one gender-neutral washroom with absolutely no locks on the doors to the individual stalls. I would never let my young daughter go in there by herself. So, in short, I will not be returning. Staff was nice though.

The food is okay. The restaurant is great for convenience, but doesn't provide much further than that [Food] I ordered a big breakfast. It came with eggs, pancakes, toast, bacon, and a ton of potatoes. The size stayed true to its name but the meal quality was unimpressive [Service] I had to wait a while to make my order, but everything else was good [Atmosphere] A staple dinner decor.

Party of three had a satisfying early supper here. Seated very quickly at 4:30. Pretty busy even though it was early for an evening meal. Has a true diner feel and our server was great. Healthy portions and not overly pricey. Reuben big enough to bring the second half home. Liver and onions could have used more onions but veggies were very good.

My wife & I came here one day for lunch, then the next morning for breakfast. Both times, we were absolutely happy after we left. The menu has a wide selection of dishes. I'm no expert on poutine, but I thought it was good. The burgers are so delicious and tender. The big breakfast is the probably the best breakfast item. They serve breakfast all day, so you can't go wrong. Service was also great. I highly recommend!

We wanted a nice casual diner and Fran's was exactly what we were looking for. There were loads of food options and the prices were reasonable. Our waiter, Craig, was great and had a funny sense of humour. The food was ready in no time and everything was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Clearly, if you are downtown early in the morning (or really late at night) and don't want to deal with a 1hr long line of hipsters, THIS is the spot to eat. Recommend the Montreal smoked meat Benny. Always lots of potatoes and ketchup. Retro stylings abound. Iconic Torontonian venue. Not going to break the bank either. You have got to eat here at least once.

The chocolate milkshake was THE perfect blend of smoothness, creaminess, thickness, and chocolatyness (and I don't like chocolate shakes)! Their breakfast sausages and bacon were one of the best I have had as well! Overall, amazing food and experience!

My to go to place for breakfast, the best pancakes I ever had! Must try with their special maple syrup Refillable coffee! Cool American style diner, always busy. Even if there is a lineup, it doesn’t take long to get seated. Nice location right outside of Eaton Centre and St. Michael’s hospital. Servers are polite and friendly, consistently check on tables Definitely suggest for breakfast or brunch.

The food is delicious and the service is very nice. Actually it's one of those places that you come back just for the nice and friendly service. We visitied three times, and it was always the same. We ordered the ribs and the burger. Both are just delicious. Strongly recommended.

Food was incredible, service was very quick and polite, and it’s a very nice and homey place to be for lunch. My wife got the Chicken Parm with pasta and I got the Fran’s Meatloaf. Both incredible dishes and worth a try if you haven’t been. Also very conveniently located next to the mall the have fun before or after your meal.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The service was fast and polite, the food was good, and the prices were fair. It’s a busy place for good reason. One of the best diner experiences I’ve had in Toronto. We had the Big Breakfast and the Chorizo Sausage Hash. Both were great. Highly recommend this Toronto staple.

Not like what it use to be! Spicy chicken & waffle. I think they forgot the spice on the chicken. The batter was the worst I've ever had. Had to remove most of the batter in search for spice on the chicken and also batter was hard with absolutely no flavor.

Is this restaurant take only one payment per table all the time? We were 4 people and we couldn't pay separately. the waitress didn't take order nor check what we need at the beginning and she rushed to clean up the table at the end. We were not happy with her behavior but the rest of waitresses and waiters were very kind to refill our coffees. However the egg Benedicts were good

Fantastic portions for breakfast, I can only imagine for the rest of the meals. Price was very reasonable considering what other places charge. Very happy I decided to go here. Coffee was amazing, that's how I judge a place mostly. Love the old style look of the place, atmosphere was cozy, didn't feel rushed to get me out.

Great spot for breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, and omlettes were all top notch. Skip the burger. Presentation and toppings were good, but beef had the distinct flavor of a grocery store frozen patty. Also, 1/2lb burger was less than 1/3lb.

Fran’s is a must try for anyone near the massey hall area. Food is very good, especially the pasta and breakfast foods. The only downside is the prices, while relatively cheap, have gone up and portions have decreased. Despite that, Fran’s is still one of the best restauraunts, especially in downtown.

Yummy comfort food at affordable price. After a long day in the hospital, I was craving some spinach feta cheese omelette. Placed a take-out order by phone at 4:30; picked up my food at 5:00 expeditiously. Staff was super respectful and appreciative of the work I do. Entire process was smooth, and the food was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

Great and friendly staff, quick service and wide variety of menu option. Started with calamari. It was a little overdone, sauce was good. Ordered two eggs with home fries and bacon. Eggs were done perfectly (over easy), home fries were excellent (crispy on the outside soft inside), bacon was overdone almost burnt, the only complaint I have.

  • Michael Marth

Had a delicious breakfast where I had the traditional comprising of two extra large eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee. The home fries were well seasoned, eggs were juicy and the toast was nice and fresh. definitely recommended if you are in the area.

The server messed up our order I ordered sunny side up eggs with my waffle and my partner ordered scrambled with his big breakfast and our plates arrived with our orders swapped. All the server offered was to bring us a side plate instead of you know re-making the order. Loved having to scrape cold scrambled eggs off my waffle.

Such a warm and cozy place for brunch. Love the decorations inside. Really felt like the brunch from home. The Mushroom Benedict tasted so soft and juicy. Really amazed by the croissant omelet when they included the croissant inside the egg, what a great combination! You get a large portion with a good price. Friendly staff.

  • Disha Kavaiya

The food is average, and since it was a late night pick-up, I wouldn’t prefer coming again as it was a bit disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend for pickups or late dine-ins as food will get soggy & cold. Our order- chocolate chips waffle, vegetarian sausage meal or something.

Fast service, okay price, huge portions, and tasty food. Calamari was delicious. Can always count on a good all day breakfast option. Harvarti Burger was yummy, however I dont think it's worth the $15 price tag (won't be ordering again). Great variety in menu options. Retro modern decor. I will definitely be back.

Local diner with three locations in the downtown core. After the Sportinglife 10k run, we were in need of some comfort food. Why would anyone anything but breakfast food? This location has more of a modern vibe than its College street twin, but same consistency food wise. I only find the service here a little less organized, and the syrup hits different when it’s not coming from that sticky Frans bottle. Bring back the bottles!
