So let me begin by establishing that this business used to be called Centre Laundry and has now rebranded. My wife and I were previous customers of Centre laundry for a short period of time, since we lived nearby, and were quickly turned off by the rude staff and unpleasant environment. Fast forward to Fresh & Clean laundry. Seeing a rebrand and having received coupons through the mail to obtain a free $6 credit to wash, we decided to give this place a second chance. First thing we noticed is that the only thing that has changed, aside from the business name, is that the machines now accept credit card, ok cool. Second thing we noticed....the same old staff is working here. So, whatever, we just want to redeem our wash coupons and be on our way. Well....as we arrived and filed our machines, my wife approached the attendant about redeeming the 2 wash coupons, as the fine print stated that the was coupons were 1 per customer and not 1 per house hold, and immediately was met with snarkiness and attitude about how we cannot use 2 coupons even though there was no restriction to using them as long as we had separate wash cards. She initially refused to redeem them but ended up calling her manager after we explained to her that the coupons have no restrictions or limitations on household redemptions. After being told it was okay as long as we purchased separate $1 wash cards, my wife proceeded to purchase the wash cards from the kiosk so we could have them loaded with the $6 values. As soon as my wife finished purchasing the wash cards and approached the attendant, the attendant denied any services and said that she had already punched out for lunch and would be back in 45 minutes. This was quite the petty timing as we had already loaded the machines with clothes, soap, and softener. Not to mention she had not clocked out yet because she hadn't left the floor in the time it took my wife to purchase the wash cards. So now this rude attendant is making me and my wife wait 45 minutes so she can simply load the cards for us. So not only had she blatantly lied about being clocked out, she then proceeded to walk out and order tacos from the food truck outside (before she really clocked out for lunch), so I approached her and asked again if we could just have the cards loaded real quick so we can begin our wash cycles, the attendant scoffed at me and turned and walked away as I was speaking to her, which was quite shocking to me as someone who works in customer service, this lady is not only leaving on the clock to order food outside but has deployed this extremely petty tantrum all because what? She had to call her manager and ended up being wrong about not letting us use two coupons? So...the attendant orders her food then comes back in 10 minutes later to actually take her lunch and locks herself in the office. My wife and I, already having unloaded and allotted the time to be here to wash in the afternoon, were now stuck waiting for this rude, incompetent laundry attendant after having made us waste 45 minutes of our time, when she indeed only took about 2 minutes to load both cards (after her lunch), reluctantly I might add. We wanted to give this place another shot but were sadly disappointed once again by the staff and frankly how overpriced each wash ended up being (even with our discounts). As a North Park native, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. We will not be returning to this establishment.

The washers are monstrous. The dryers on one side are just as large and make easy work of drying multiple loads ridiculously fast. The place itself is spacious. Even with the large amount of washers, dryers, vending machines, claw machines, arms, and coin machines, there is STILL a good-sized area to sit and wait for your stuff to finish. When it's packed with people, it's hardly noticeable due to the size of the place. No one bothers you at all. There is somebody that can assist you there at all times and it's not difficult to find them. They are all out on the floor and not hiding out in some backroom, avoiding customers like the employees seem to do at a lot of the other laundromats I've been to. Parking is ideal, there's spots in the back and all down one side of the building. The carts are great due to one side of the basket being shorter than the other to make loading and unloading your stuff easy.... and they can be wheeled outside to your car with no issues. I prefer this place over every other laundromat I've used in the area. I've used close to every single one, minus a few really sketchy places that are within several miles from this one. This is the one you wanna utilize. The machines can also be paid for using debit or credit, which is so much more convenient than coin-op. You won't be disappointed here

Horrible experience. My husband and I got a 'free wash' coupon at our door so we came to use them. The coupon states one per customer. The attendant didn't want to honor it and was rude from the start, but then she called the manager and they allowed it so I was thankful. My husband and I are two customers so she should've honored it from the get go. The only thing is that she told me that I would have to buy two different laundry cards that they use at this establishment in order to get the free washes. I did that and as I went to her to get the free wash onto my card she told me she couldn't help me because she had just clocked out for lunch and wouldn't be back until 12:35 p.m. WHAT? I pleaded but she didn't budge. Even my husband went up to her and she walked away from him as he spoke to her. My guess is she wasn't even clocked out yet because she told me this at 11:55 and she came back at 12:35. Who gets a 40 minute lunch? My husband and I had to wait in the laundry room with our laundry ready to go but can't start it until she does whatever she has to do with the laundry card. It's a waste of time and it's the only reason we came here so I'm dead set on waiting. This place still sucks. Go to The Laundry Room on El Cajon Boulevard instead. It's clean and the attendance are kind.

I used to go to this laundromat regularly. Recently I went to drop off my Mother's laundry and the new manager ( short, Hispanic guy) said that my mother could no longer use the discount card that they gave her to use because she getting a discount for her laundry being over 50lbs plus a discount for for filling up her card which gives you $10 off. Well, first of all they gave her the discount card . No too mention my mother has been washing her clothes for over 10 years at this laundromat. I was offended that now ( shorty) was changing the rules. So, honestly I don't want her doing her laundry there anymore. This is how they do you after over 10 years of being a faithful customer. So just knowing that the management could give a damn about my mother who is a senior & retired bus driver. Management could give a damn about that. How about I just take her service elsewhere. Oh and I must mention this. When you go for Fluff & Fold services WATCH OUT BECAUSE THE SCALE KEPT CHANGING HOW MUCH IT REALLY TRULY WEIGHED. Just pay attention.

Horrible first and last time at an laundromat. Will be buying my own washer. I came here because of the reviews and because of discounted Wed and Thurs nope, I paid more than what the machine quoted. Also my clothes came out smelling like mildew, clean the machines out just like you do at home. I paid over 8 dollars for clean clothes which I don't have and now I have to go to another laundromat or use a friend washing machine. I told the guy that works here my clothes are not fresh he said they are fine and walked away from me. Man the way I was treated because of my skin color is so unfair and not cool. But I won't be back here the machines smell horrible and that's how your clothes will smell. Ain't no way I use 2 small bottles of laundry Detergent in and out of the washing machine and my clothes like mildew it shouldn't but it does. I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied

First off, me and my girlfriend come here almost every week due to the amount of clothes that we own on top of us having a 3 year old. Every time we come Jessica C. Is here to help us with such an amazing attitude. My washer had malfunctioned and Jessica fixed it before I had time to even know about it, she then took it a step further and came to the parking lot to find me and let me know. Everyone that works here is such a huge help to me all the time but Jessica takes that extra step and goes above and beyond and greets me with a smile and she makes doing laundry not feel like such a chore. The El Cajon Blvd location is very lucky to have her on staff here. Outside of staff their fluff and food services are TOP TIER with amazing pricing and efficiency.

Love this place. Huge facility with tons of washers and dryers of all sizes. All machines either take debit/credit or you can apply for a card at their kiosks to load money on to using cash or credit. Machines also take coins of course. Lots of off-street parking, there's a Mexican food truck that lives in the parking lot if you're hungry. There's even a sizeable sit-down area inside with tables you can wait at. They also have wash & fold services as well. Only downside is all of the vending machines are coin fed and have no card readers. Overall, good option if you don't have a W&D and don't want to go somewhere you feel like you're packed in like a sardine.

Ordinarily, I would expect that my shoes might pop open my dryer door and waste my money...I would not expect that someone would take something out and throw it away!!!I would expect that someone might call to my attention the item in which they decided was unacceptable and request that I remove the item. I am on site and obviously paying as close attention to my laundry as a timer would be ticking down my time to remove my laundry promptly to make available the machine for someone else. So, obviously, I am available to be approached. No one said a word to me!! I come back to my dryer, door open and I find theitems missing right in the trash!!

Ok, so I’m not exaggerating when I say that one of your employees, Jessica, is the bees knees! She is such a sweetheart, and helpful is an understatement! She truly does an excellent job of helping customers with their laundry needs, and she’s friendly, professional, funny, polite, knowledgeable and just a joy to be around. As long as Jessica is working here I’ll be returning to do my laundry every time. That girl deserves a gold star and a big hug! So thank you, Jessica, for your helpfulness and for being so kind to someone who very much needed the support. I’ll see you soon, it’s almost laundry day again

They have a card system and they charge you $3 just to buy the card with a zero dollar balance. their smallest washer cost $3.50 so you're basically paying for a wash just to use a card. I have a laundry on site where I live but it's out of order so there's no way I'm paying that. That is a rip-off. It's one thing if it was like $0.50 or a dollar but $3! And with their washers charging you anywhere from $3 to $7! Heck no! I will go next door to North Park where the facilities are really nice at get it clean laundromat and their rates are the same but I don't have to pay for a card. What a rip off.

Tons of machines even on the busiest time there’s always a machine available for you. They’re clean and work well. I’ve been coming here every weekend for the last two years and have only had one issue which was promptly resolved as there’s always someone around to help you. The prices are decent no the cheapest but not the most expensive I’ve seen. While waiting for your clothes there’s a few tables to chill, with a couple of tvs near. They have vending machines, WiFi and a taco truck right outside. What more can you ask for!

New favorite laundromat. -parking lot -bathroom while doing laundry -plenty of seating to work while you wait -clean machines -good range of washer size and price -SpeedQueen air only option (no more line drying your clothes AND it cost less than using heat!) -helpful and kind attendant ! I’ve been searching for a laundromat that gets it all right, and they do! 5 stars hands down. Note: you have to get a card and pre-load it with cash or use a CC there but honestly it’s easier than dealing with the coins so who cares

I also used to love coming here because it was clean and the washers and dryers were fully functional. Now half the washers say they are out of service, or they have signs saying they are. There have been several times where I have seen employees using the ones that say out of service, so they may just tag them so they can do laundry that’s dropped off. The dryers work well but you have to throughly inspect it because there are screws and nails embedded in the drum. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

Wow!!! Never knew this was an actual thing and this type of service existed! It’s so convenient! Luis M. is a fantastic worker, super nice and caring especially when he delivers/picks up the clothes from my aunt and uncle. Very respectful and communication is very clear. That’s one thing that is very important to me. Luis M. being bilingual helps a lot because my aunt and uncle don’t speak English that well, he was able to assist them. I would definitely recommend this place and Luis to anyone. Great job!

I use their pickup laundry service. It is amazing. My laundry is picked up from my door step. They wash and fold my laundry to my directions. They even use the detergent sheets I provide. My laundry shows up the next day. Perfect every time. The price is extremely-reasonable when I think how much time I saved. Also, their messaging technology and processes are great. I get several email reminders about pickup. I'm easily the weakest link in getting my own laundry done.

I went there this morning and paid for the the water to be hot because that's what I needed and I waited because I wanted to make sure it was really hot water I paid for. Well I didn't get any hot water, not even warm. So this place ripped me off. I checked the water as it was going into the machine and it was cold. It filled up still and was still cold at the end. I did the same process with the rinse. This place cheats people. I'll never pay for a hot wash again.

We are a Vacation Rental Company that manages about 100 properties. We have been using Fresh and Clean for the past 2 years and couldn't be more grateful to have found them. They have been much more dependable and responsive than our previous 2 vendors. Like us they are a small business that values their clients. They are accessable, they take the time to listen to our concerns, and follow up with action. We are very grateful for John and his team!

This is the only laundromat I will go to...the attendants are kind and welcoming and don’t mind “talking story” they are helpful and a delight. The facility is clean and there is a machine for every amount of laundry, I have never been disappointed or short changed. For you parents out there, bring the kids, they got WiFi TVs and tables to do homework...if you don’t bring the kids there’s a bar and restaurant a couple hours hundred feet a way.

The biggest and CLEANEST laundry facility I've ever been to. Very friendly and helpful staff! Fluff and fold, dozens of washers (at least 3 sizes), 30 regular sized driers, 18 HUGE 75 pound driers! Only 1 dryer out of order, and an incredible 3 washers, for just about 2% of machines down. Again, the lowest out of order I've ever seen in a laundry facility I've seen (with more than 10 machines). INCREDIBLE!!! Awesome place! Thank you! :-)

Fresh and clean laundry is by far the best laundromat in San Diego. Very clean staff is friendly and awesome Jorge is honesty the most friendly and helpful employee this man deserves a raise. I come here about two times a month and get all my laundry done in under two hours. The price of this place is very fair compared to others. I would recommend this place anyone that needs laundry services.

This used to be my fav spot but they changed the system and prices. Just be aware the price will change when using washers and dryers.. it will say $5 and jump up to $5.50 or $6 when you pay.. it will say $4 and then jump to $4.50. Dryers will do the same.. they used to give you $3 extra if you put $20 on your card.. or give you a free wash if you wash a certain amount of loads but not anymore

I have been coming to Century Laundromat for a while now, and I am always greeted with a friendly smile by Erika, she is the main reason my wife and I keep coming back for the fluff and fold service. I like the new changes that the new ownership implemented with the new loyalty program! As long as Erika still works here, I’m definitely going to be coming back!

The last three times I’ve been here And drop my laundry off to get done I’ve had laundry come up missing and also they pad their scales. That’s not been in exaggeration. I literally have the same scale for my shipping and car parts at my shop and their scale is 12 pounds padded I brought and 43 pounds and end up being 54 pounds watch these guys are jokes

I just started going here 2 months ago. I really like the cleaniness and that I dont have to wait for dryers. I also like the fact that they have tables inside. I can load up and go sit and read or eat while waiting. I also like that its not crowded with kids running around.and no carryng of coins is a bonus. So far i have not had any issues of any kind.

Clean! The first thing I noticed on my first visit. Im a fluff and fold guy. This place is both cheap and fast! Most fluff and fold offer next day service. This place guarantee same day pick for all drop offs up to 5pm! Laundry is best when it is clean, fresh, neat, fast and done by someone else. This. Is. My. New. Favorite. Laundromat. Period.

Loved this laundromat! They have a bunch of different sized washers which is perfect depending on the size load you have. My clothes somehow smelled cleaner do when I use the washers at my apartment complex even though I used the same soap. AND I liked that the dryers are so big so than you can save money by throwing everything in at once

Ever since we started this service our life’s and chores are so much easier. They return all of our clothes folded and sweaters hung up. Albert the person who picks it up is always super helpful and nice. They have great communication as to when they are coming to pick up and drop off! Absolutely love this fresh and clean laundry.

Had an issue with a washer, it said ERROR and then took the amount of the wash off the card twice. Told the attendant about it and she argued with us and said the washers don't do that. Would not refund the $5.75. Ridiculous!! And you know that place makes money and they don't turn on the A/C...will not go back...

This is a great place to bring your laundry. There's tons of machines, its very clean, and the attendents are attentive. They offer dry cleaning, and t's easy to pay. Plus, the prices aren't too high. If you can get here when it isn't busy , or when there's parking. I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Been coming here for about a year, and choose to keep coming back because cleanliness, customers service. Variety of different machine sizes and being able to watch t.v until my clothes are done thanks to Jessica, who is always friendly and accommodating with a great attitude and customer service.

These guys are thief’s I had a Versace and Burberry shirt go missing. I dropped my laundry off to be washed and went to pick it up and was missing these items. When I call to get the issue resolved nobody answers or I get forwarded to voicemail.

I have been going here for years to drop off and pick up my Airbnb linens and I really appreciate how helpful the staff is. I was in a pinch and Luis made sure I got my laundry in time. Everything is always folded perfectly and very clean.

The vending machines are a joke they don't work most of the time but will take your money. People are the Landry mat don't even help with the issue. Bad service on there part. People don't waste your money on these machines.

They should tell you before what time is the last wash. Because internet says that they are open till 11:30pm but If you go there after 10 they are not gonna let you do your laundry so technically they are close

I've come here for over 10 years. I love the card system, it's so much better than quarters. Lots of machines big and small and plenty of dryers. They have TV's and music and a friendly staff.

Very good place to do laundry. Big dryers, actually they're huge! Clean place. I do wish there were some place to plug in a charger or something. Quite spacious with enough places to fold.
